It has been the 883 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. In response, the Ukrainian Defense Forces are thwarting the enemy’s insidious plans, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment.

Overall, there have been 103 combat engagements since the beginning of the day. 

The enemy is most active towards Pokrovsk, and has also increased the number of offensive and assault actions towards Kurakhove and Vremivka.

Border settlements in Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts continue to suffer from cynical shelling from the territory of the russian federation. Five settlements were hit by enemy mortar fire, including Studenok, Novovasylivka, Slavgorod, Velyka Pysarivka, and Oleksandrivka.

Additionally, Kharkiv region is under bombardment by enemy aircraft. Since the beginning of the day, from the russian cities of Belgorod and Shebekino, the russians have carried out 13 airstrikes using 28 KABs. They targeted areas of the Ukrainian settlements of Vesele, Lyptsi, Hlyboke, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, Ruska Lozova, and Pytomnyk.

Moreover, towards Kharkiv, the russians conducted four unsuccessful attacks near Hlyboke, as well as two attacks near Vovchansk, where one battle is currently ongoing. The situation is under control.

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy carried out five assault actions near Stelmakhivka, Petropavlivka, and Stepova Novoselivka. One battle has concluded, and four are ongoing.

Towards Lyman, the invading army attacked Ukrainian positions 10 times near the settlements of Makiivka and Nevske, as well as in the area of the Serebryansky Forest. Our defenders repelled six enemy attacks, with four still continuing.

Towards Siversk, the enemy attacked five times near Verkhnokamyanske, Spirne, and Mykolaivka during the day, suffering defeat as a result of the clashes.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy carried out eight assault actions near Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Kalynivka, Mayske, and Hryhorivka. The Defense Forces repelled six attacks, with two still ongoing.

Towards Toretsk, the occupiers also attacked eight times near Zalizne, Niu York, and Pivnichne. Five battles have concluded, and three are continuing.

Towards Pokrovsk, the russians conducted assault actions in the areas of the settlements of Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Vesele, Ivanivka, Novoselivka Persha, Paraskoviivka, Novozhelanne, and Yasnobrodivka. The Defense Forces are holding back the enemy’s pressure and have repelled 18 attacks, with nine battles ongoing. Enemy losses are being clarified.

Towards Kurakhiv, the enemy attacked 14 times near Krasnohorivka, Kostyantynivka, and Paraskoviivka. Ten battles have concluded, with four still ongoing.

Towards Vremivka, three enemy attacks are currently ongoing near Velyka Novosilka. Our defenders repelled ten more attacks in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Vodyane, and Rozdolne.

Towards Orikhiv, the enemy attempted to break through the Ukrainian defense near Mala Tokmachka, Yurkivka, Novoandriivka, and Shcherbakiv. Two attacks were repelled, with two still ongoing.

Towards Prydniprovske, the enemy had no success, attacking Ukrainian defense lines on the left bank of the Dnipro three times.

In other directions of the front, the situation has not significantly changed.

Oleksandr Pivenko, Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, reported that 755 National Guardsmen have been returned from russian captivity. He also noted that almost every exchange manages to bring back National Guardsmen.

Mykola Kuleba, President’s Commissioner for Children’s Rights, reported that Ukraine has returned another 7 children from temporarily occupied territories. He also noted that since 2014, 1.5m children have been in temporarily occupied territories and in russia.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

The regional prosecutor’s office said that a 53-year-old man and an 80-year-old woman were injured as a result of shelling of Kurylivka, allegedly from multiple rocket launchers.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the RMA, reported that at about 5:25pm, the occupiers struck between two apartment buildings in Prystin village of Kupiansk community. Three people were injured: a 69-year-old woman and two men aged 71 and 72.

Around 12:40pm, the occupiers attacked Ruska Lozova village. Two civilians were injured in the shelling: a 44-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman, and medics treated the victims on the spot.

The press service of Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office informed that in the morning, russians shelled Podoly in Kupiansk region by artillery, killing a 48-year-old man.

At 05:12, the Russians attacked Kupyansk district, Kupyansk TG, Kupyansk-Vuzlovy settlement. As a result of the KAB shelling, two private houses were burned, 5 houses and 4 cars were destroyed. A 52-year-old man was injured as a result of the airstrike. The Russian Army used the FAB-1500 for the first time. The launch range of such a bomb is 50-60 km, it is launched by the Su-34 aircraft, as well as other guided aerial bombs. We do not rule out that the enemy will attack Kharkiv with such bombs.

At 4:30am, russians attacked Kupiansk, Kupiansk region. A private house burned down as a result of shelling by the KAB.

At 4:23am, russians attacked Prykolotne village of Vilkhuvatka community, Kupiansk region. Five private houses and a garage were damaged as a result of the shelling by an anti-aircraft vehicle.

Yesterday at 4:55pm, russians attacked Shevchenkivskyi district. A house burned down as a result of shelling by an unidentified aerial vehicle. Three cars were destroyed, 5 private houses, 3 outbuildings, 2 cars and 4 garages damaged, 3 people injured.

From 12:24 to 2:24pm, russians attacked Kholodnohirskyi district. As a result of the Iskander missile strikes, grass was burned and the building of an enterprise was damaged. Nine people were injured.

At 5:24pm, russians attacked Mala Danylivka village of Mala Danylivka community, Kharkiv oblast. As a result of the shelling, grass was burning in the open area.

Volunteer Yurii Sapronov reported that five out of six cats and all three dogs survived the shelling of his house on 24 July in downtown Kharkiv.

City Head Serhii Zelenskyy reported that the strike on critical infrastructure in Lozova will affect the heating season.

Towards Kharkiv, the enemy continued assault operations. There were eight combat engagements near Hlyboke, Tykhe and Sotnytsia Kozachok.

Towards Kupiansk, the number of combat engagements in the last day totalled eight. Ukrainian defence forces repelled enemy assaults near three settlements. The enemy focused its actions near Synkivka, Stelmakhivka and Petropavlivka.


So far, 41 families with children have been moved to safe places from Borove community, 43 from Vovchansk community and 20 families with children from Kindrashivka community, in total, 104 children and their parents.

The evacuation from these settlements is planned to be completed within 60 days. According to our data, there may be 186 more children in these areas. In total, the evacuation continues from 38 settlements in five regions of Kharkiv oblast: Kharkiv, Izium, Kupiansk, Bohodukhiv and Chuhuiv regions.

Roman Petrenko, Regional Director of the company, said that 90% of the windows currently produced at Pervomaisk-based Ekipazh are being used to replace those smashed by blast waves in the frontline regions of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Dnipro.

Donetsk oblast

Stanislav Krasnov, platoon commander of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that the russian army cannot approach Toretsk. The russian army is trying to break through the Ukrainian defences in the villages surrounding Toretsk – Zalizne, Pivnichne, Niu-York and the russian troops are located within 4km of Toretsk.

Intense fighting is taking place around Pivnichne and Niu-York.

Oleh Kalashnikov, an officer of the 26th Artillery Brigade, said that there is no threat of encirclement of Chasiv Yar at the moment. Also russia is trying to advance on the flanks, launching attacks in small groups.

Anastasiia Miedviedieva, Spokeswoman of Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, informed that russian troops dropped a precision-guided aerial bomb on Illinka.

As a result, a 66-year-old woman was killed.

Novohrodivka City Military Administration reported about the shelling by Smerch multiple rocket launchers. Eight private houses were damaged in the attack, with no injuries or deaths.

At night, the enemy attacked Kostiantynivka using Smerch rocket launchers, destroying 7 private houses and 2 cars. In addition, at night the town was shelled by artillery and as a result, two private houses, non-residential premises and a gas pipeline were damaged.

Yesterday the occupiers shelled 11 settlements in Donetsk oblast, injuring three people. Yesterday police recorded 2,812 russian attacks on the frontline and residential areas.  Explosions were heard in Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Novohrodivka, Toretsk, Chasiv Yar, Hrodivka, Illinivka, Mykolaivka, Mykhailivka, Novoukrainka and Shevchenko.

22 civilian objects were damaged, including 12 residential buildings, an outbuilding, cars, a gas pipeline and a power grid.

In Mykolaivka, russians hit a civilian minibus with a drone, injuring a man.  

A resident of Chasiv Yar was injured as a result of an enemy UAV hit.

Another civilian was injured in Hrodivka.

A drone attack damaged an apartment building in Kurakhove and a civilian bus in Mykhailivka. In both cases, preliminary reports indicate that no people were injured.

Also russian troops shelled Illinivka using Smerch multiple rocket launchers, damaging an apartment building and a private house.

Luhansk oblast

According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the frontline Nevske and Makiivka were under heavy russian attack. Yesterday the enemy used 95 drones, aircraft, artillery and damaged two houses there.

The invaders attempted to advance 11 times near Nevske, Makiivka and in Serebrianka forest. They also tried to push through our defences near Stelmakhivka.

Residents of Novoliubivka and Nevske received food packages and a weekly supply of bread.

In the so-called “luhansk people’s republic”, the occupiers are intensifying propaganda among children and youth, preparing them to participate in the war. Recently, they brought students of school №1 from the occupied Bilovodsk to Novosibirsk region, where a tent camp for “young soldiers” has been set up. There, children from Luhansk oblast will be taught combat skills by special forces, tankers and cadets from russian military universities. The work will be carried out by specialists in patriotic education.

A fine of 100% of the amount of payment will be imposed on “lpr” entrepreneurs from 1 January if they do not install cash registers at each point of sale. At the request of the russians, all entrepreneurs, except for craftsmen and baggage carriers, will have to purchase them.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, reported that it was the second night in a row that the enemy attacked oblast with attack drones. There were no hits to residential or critical infrastructure. There were no casualties as a result of the attack. Air defence forces were operating in oblast. The fall of debris on the territory of a garden society damaged three private houses, a garage, a hardware store, the administration building of the garden society and a car. In several places, forest and grass litter caught fire – the fires were extinguished.

The aftermath of a rocket attack on a building on Volodymyr Salsky Street in Kyiv is underway. Municipal services are working to connect the surviving apartments to utilities as soon as possible. Lists of owners in need of temporary accommodation are being compiled. After the results of the instrumental survey, it will be possible to start designing, rebuilding the destroyed part and overhauling the part of the building that was critically damaged.

Mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk informed that a new rehabilitation unit for military personnel and community members was opened in Bucha. The unit was set up on the basis of the day hospital of the Bucha Consultative and Diagnostic Centre. The project was implemented in cooperation with the EU-funded Mayors for Economic Growth initiative implemented by UNDP in Ukraine.

The Regional Military Administration reported that Kyiv oblast will pay for maxillofacial surgery for military personnel and war veterans. UAH 5m was allocated from the budget for this purpose. The resources provided by the programme will be enough to perform surgeries on 28 active servicemen and war veterans at the Kyiv Regional Clinical Hospital.

Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the RMA, informed that a project to support the reintegration of veterans in professional and social development will be introduced in Kyiv oblast. Special veteran hubs will be organised on the basis of 8 educational oblast institutions. Veterans’ hubs will become platforms for networking and receiving consultations, individual support, career planning and preparation for the labour market.

Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko announced that on the eve of the Day of Healthcare Workers, the capital’s healthcare workers received the Kyiv Mayor’s Acknowledgements. The medals ‘Honour. Glory. State’ medals were awarded posthumously to the medics who died during the large-scale war – the awards were given to the relatives of the victims. According to the mayor, since the beginning of the full-scale war, almost 500 employees from municipal medical institutions have joined the Armed Forces.

The Kyiv City State Administration reported that on 28 July, the True Trail charity cycling and running cross-country race will take place on Trukhaniv Island in the capital. The race organisers invite runners and cyclists to participate. The goal: to raise funds for equipment for the TERRA unit (3rd separate assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine). 

Zhytomyr oblast

The regional military administration reported that the enemy launched a massive kamikaze drone attack in Zhytomyr oblast at night. The air defence forces conducted intensive anti-Shahid work and hit about 10 air targets. The falling debris and shockwaves damaged about 10 private houses and an infrastructure facility. ‘There were no casualties or injuries. The damage response is ongoing.

A meeting of business representatives and the leadership of Chernyakhiv community was held in Zhytomyr oblast as part of the USAID “GOVERLA” project. The event became a platform for discussing the local economic development strategy.

Sumy oblast

 At night and in the morning of 25 July, russians fired nine times at the border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast. A total of 56 explosions were recorded, including artillery, mortar, FPV drone and UAV ammunition drops. Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Shalyhye and Seredyna-Buda communities were shelled.

On 24 July, the russian military fired 34 times in Sumy oblast. A total of 156 explosions were recorded. According to the RMA, 8 border communities were shelled: Khotyn, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Shalyhyne and Seredyna-Buda communities.

Velyka Pysarivska community: the enemy fired from artillery (6 explosions), AGS (38 explosions). The enemy helicopter also fired NAR missiles (8 explosions).

Esman community: mortar shelling (24 explosions) and shelling with the use of FPV drones (28 explosions) were carried out from the territory of the russian federation.

Yunakivka community: russians attacked with Grad multiple rocket launchers (20 explosions) and struck with FPV drones (3 explosions).

Khotyn community: 1 munition was dropped from an enemy UAV.

Seredyna-Buda community: The enemy dropped 26 mines on the territory of the community.

Krasnopillia community: russians attacked with mortars (4 explosions) and artillery (2 explosions).

Shalyhyne community: from the territory of the russian federation using FPV drones (3 explosions).

Bilopillia community: the enemy conducted an air strike with a UAV (2 explosions).

The regional police reported that on 24 July, 27 settlements in Sumy oblast were under russian fire.

According to the ‘Pivnich’ command, the shelling destroyed a farm building in Bilopillya, damaged private houses in Basivka of Yunakivka community, Pozhnya of the Velyka Pysarivka community, and Chernatske village of the Seredyna-Buda community. A communal facility was damaged, a private house and an outbuilding were destroyed in Bachivsk of Esman community.

In Sumy oblast, police explosives experts neutralised a warhead of a russian X-59 missile. The enemy missile fell in the forest on the border and did not explode. A mobile group of the Police Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit neutralised the munition and then destroyed it at a special training ground.

German investors are planning to implement alternative energy projects in Sumy oblast, including solar and wind power. This was discussed at a meeting with Olaf Knappe, a member of the Administrative Board of ESE Invest AG, and Natalia Knappe, a beneficiary of Global Green Energy Solar I LLC,’ said Volodymyr Artyukh, head of the Regional State Administration.

‘7 communities of Sumy Oblast received school buses at the expense of the subvention on the terms of co-financing from local budgets. The new buses will be delivered to the educational institutions of Andriyashivka, Synivka, Lypova Dolyna, Shostka, Romny, Chernechchyna and Krolevets communities today. 

Chernihiv oblast

Over the past 24 hours, russian troops attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast. According to the State Border Guard Service, a total of 30 explosions were recorded.

Novhorod-Siverskyi community: 4 mortar attacks in the direction of Hremyach.

Semenivka community: 16 attacks with mortars, cannon artillery and FPV drones in the area of Tymonovychi, Lubyane and Karpovychi.

Snovsk community: 10 mortar attacks in the direction of Kliusy.

Head of the RMA, Vyacheslav Chaus, announced that at the governmental level, France and Latvia are helping Chernihiv oblast with reconstruction. Germany, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United States, Canada, Finland and Japan are also actively supporting oblast. According to him, the number of meetings with foreign delegations is as follows: in 2021 – 12, in 2022 – 68; in 2023 – more than 100, from January to July 2024 – more than 50.

According to the RMA, at the initiative of the Italian Ambassador’s wife Svitlana Dzadzo and with the support of Italian philanthropists, the Chernihiv Regional Children’s Hospital received a new ambulance. The car was donated by the Quasar volunteer centre.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Council reported that the occupiers attacked the Nikopol district with artillery twice. In the evening, they hit the Marhanets community, and in the morning, they targeted Nikopol. In total, more than ten shells were fired. Attacks on the Nikopol region continue. Throughout the day, the enemy shelled the district with artillery and kamikaze drones. The occupiers hit Nikopol, Pokrovsk, Chervonohryhorivka, Myrivska, and Marhanets communities. Due to the morning shelling in Nikopol, fires broke out, burning private houses and a farm building. In total, 15 private houses, a tire repair shop, three summer houses, and nine farm buildings were damaged in the district, with one completely destroyed. Two cars, power lines, gas pipelines, and solar panels were also affected.

Vinnytsia oblast

The Vinnytsia City Council reported that the Central City Library, a book by defender Nina Yahodzhynska about her deceased brother, “Kyrhan Viktor. Stone. Leshyi,” was presented. The publication tells the story of defender Viktor Kyrhan, who had been fighting in hotspots long before the full-scale invasion. The defender died in heavy fighting in the spring of 2022.

Poltava oblast

Windows have been delivered to the houses on Balenka Street in Poltava for the residents whose apartments were damaged by the shelling on June 17. These structures will be installed in two buildings.

Cherkasy oblast

At night, air defense systems were active in the Cherkasy region. This was reported by Mykola Oleshchuk, the Commander of the Air Force.

Oleksandr Tsebrii, the former mayor of Uman, was killed in the war. This was reported by Ihor Taburets, the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

According to the State Border Guard Service, border guards repelled an attack by enemy FPV drones, shooting down 10 strike UAVs in Zaporizhzhia oblast. On 24 July, the russian occupying forces carried out 455 attacks by various types of weapons on 10 cities and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. 9 civilian houses and infrastructure facilities were destroyed.

For the 2nd day in a row, the enemy forces have been conducting airstrikes on the frontline Mala Tokmachka village. Also, this village, as well as Robotyne and Novodanylivka, were shelled 20 times by MLRS.

Territories of Prymorske, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Malynivka and Levadne were under heavy artillery attack. The enemy carried out 196 artillery strikes on these settlements.

The occupiers do not cease massive drone attacks. Specifically, the enemy attacked Bilenke, Stepnohirsk, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, Malynivka and Novoandriivka 238 times by UAVs.

Mykolaiv oblast

According to Mykolaiv RMA, on 24 July, at 5:10pm, russian artillery shelling targeted the water area of Ochakiv community. There were no casualties reported.

Odesa oblast

On the night of 25 July, russia attacked Vylkove city in Izmail region by 11 Shahed kamikaze drones. Hits on port infrastructure and a private house were reported. 2 people were injured in the shelling, 1 of whom was hospitalised in moderate condition.

 

Richard Regan, Director of the UN WFP Representative Office in Ukraine, visited Odesa. Cooperation in the agricultural sector, increasing yields, the functioning of the Ukrainian grain corridor and the export of grain from Ukraine were discussed during a meeting with the leadership of Odesa RMA. Richard Regan outlined the plans of the WFP in the oblast and emphasised the importance of cooperation in sending humanitarian cargo from Odesa’s ports to countries suffering from hunger.

Kherson oblast

Roman Mrochko, Head of Kherson CMA, reported that on 25 July, in Antonivka, a suburb of Kherson, the occupying forces dropped an explosive on a vehicle distributing humanitarian aid. The driver, born in 1959, suffered injuries and a concussion.

Also, a 55-year-old resident of Antonivka sought medical help after coming under attack from russian troops.

In the morning, a 51-year-old man died from injuries sustained in a drone strike by the russian military on Kindiika village in Kherson oblast.

Around 11am, russian troops dropped explosives from a drone in Sadove village, injuring a 72-year-old man.

On 24 July, the russian forces attacked 14 settlements in Kherson oblast. 1 person was killed and 6 injured.

According to Kherson police, the enemy continues to attack agricultural enterprises in right-bank Kherson, civilian infrastructure and private buildings. This day, the russian military damaged 38 objects: 14 private houses, 3 apartment buildings, a communal institution, 6 cars, 10 units of agricultural machinery, a fire truck, a warehouse, a gas pipeline and a farm building.

Volunteers from Save Ukraine conducted another rescue operation from temporarily occupied Kherson. 2 teenage boys, aged 14 and 15, were returned to Ukrainian-controlled territory. Along with them, 2 children deprived of parental care were evacuated. The children are now safe and receiving the necessary medical and psychological support.

The right bank of Kherson remains mined due to prolonged fighting. Furthermore, the russian forces continue to cynically shell de-occupied communities, remotely continuing to mine them. In Kherson oblast, sappers have begun using new technologies with the GCS-200 machine, which is protected against mine explosions.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Lutsk City Council and the ANGAR. Ukraine CF signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The purpose of the signed document is cooperation in providing more effective assistance to servicemen and veterans.

A 7-day training course Military Camping: Introduction of Ukrainian Identity started in Volyn oblast. The program of training includes weapons handling, battle tactics, medicine and lectures on patriotic topics.

Zakarpattia oblast

Viktor Mykyta, Head of the RMA, gave a detailed interview to the Nikkei large Japanese publication. The focus of attention is on the restoration of defenders and the strategy of the region’s activities under martial law. Together with journalists, he visited Zakarpattia Rehabilitation Centre for military personnel 4.5.0. Recovery Centre.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Ivano-Frankivsk community sent 30 FPVs to the 79th Airborne Assault Brigade thanks to the budget funds.

Lviv oblast

The RMA held a meeting with Anton Leis García, Director of the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation. They discussed the humanitarian situation and possible cooperation in cultural matters.

The RMA reported that soldiers of the 80th Separate Amphibious Assault Brigades, who selflessly continue to defend Ukraine in Bakhmut region, were awarded state awards and departmental awards.

Bohdan Prots, gunner of the 44th Separate Artillery Brigade named after Hetman Danylo Apostol from Strii region, was awarded with the III degree For Courage Order (posthumously). Hero died on 24 June, 2023, near the settlement of Zatyshsha, Zaporizhzhia oblast, from injuries received.

Rivne oblast

Rivne City Council reported that the community sent 52 DJI Mavic 3 PRO drones, 5 Starlink systems, 9 Ecoflow charging stations to 13 units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

About 30 graphic works of the author, made with black liner, are presented at the exhibition. They were supplemented by engraved cartridges for large-caliber charges for a machine gun.

Over 100 patients have already benefited from the free delivery of medicines in Rivne oblast. It is a joint project of the National Health Service of Ukraine and Ukrposhta within the framework of the Affordable Medicines government program. This delivery started working in the oblast on 8 July. It concerns 532 names of medical preparations.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil community sent beads to the 105th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade thanks to the Wheels of Victory CF.

Ternopil City Council will reimburse the 1st installment of a mortgage loan for housing under the state program yeOselia to another defender from Ternopil in the amount of UAH 535,600. 10 soldiers of the community have already received such compensation.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Another rotation of the IAEA monitoring mission took place at Khmelnytskyi NPP. During the meeting, representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency met with the management and employees of the branch of VP KHAES JSC NAEK Enerhoatom. A group of experts will work at Khao NPP for 3 weeks. International specialists conduct regular tours, analyze data on the safety of nuclear power plants during the period of martial law. IAEA monitoring missions are located at all nuclear power plants of Ukraine to monitor nuclear and radiation safety and security.

Chernivtsi oblast

A reconstructed polyclinic building, a new rehabilitation department for patients with cardiovascular diseases, and an updated intensive care unit of the inpatient unit were opened at Chernivtsi Regional Clinical Cardiology Centre. UAH 24.3m were financed from the institution’s own funds, which it earned under the medical guarantee program, for the implementation of works, the purchase of medical equipment and furniture.

The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the International Office of SOS Children’s Villages International. They discussed support for children left without parental care.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The Netherlands and Denmark will send 14 Leopard 2A4 tanks to Ukraine this summer. Combat vehicles were overhauled by the Rheinmetall German company.

Petr Fiala, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, stated that by the end of the year, Ukraine will receive approximately 500,000 155-mm artillery ammunition within the framework of the Czech initiative.

The Council of the EU adopted a decision to change the status of the European Union in the Register of Damages Caused by Russia’s Aggression Against Ukraine from an associate member to a full participant. As a full member, the EU maintains and strengthens its commitment to ensuring that all violations of international law committed by russia are adequately compensated.

The Czech Republic will launch the second project on the purchase of ammunition for Ukraine. 5 arms companies will join this project. Currently, the agency for interstate cooperation under the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic is collecting information about what they will be able to deliver to Ukraine next year.

Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, had a phone conversation with Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor to the President of the US. They discussed restoring the energy infrastructure and Ukraine’s military needs

In London, an exhibition dedicated to Ukrainian athletes who were killed in the war with russia was installed on Parliament Square. A large number 487 in the colors of the Ukrainian flag has been placed on the lawn of the square (approximately that many athletes died during the invasion of the russian federation as of the beginning of July). The equipment used by deceased athletes in sports disciplines is laid out around the numbers. The exposition was established with the support of the government of Great Britain, the National Olympic Committee and the Sports Committee of Ukraine.
