Since the beginning of the day, 74 combat engagements have taken place along the frontline.
The enemy, from the territory of the Russian Federation, carried out artillery strikes on the areas of the settlements of Prokhody, Petrushivka, and Pokrovka in Sumy region, as well as Liskivshchyna in Chernihiv region.
In the Northern-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy conducted one airstrike, using four guided aerial bombs, and carried out 131 attacks, including four using multiple rocket launcher systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhansky direction, the enemy is currently conducting an attack on the Defense Forces’ positions near the settlement of Dvorichna. The battle is ongoing.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted once during the day to advance toward our positions near Pishchane. The Defense Forces successfully repelled the attack.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine offensive actions by the invading army in the areas of Tverdokhlibove, Ridkodub, Karpivka, and Kolodiazi, as well as in the directions of Hrekivka, Zelena Dolyna, Novyi Myr, and Olhivka. Six combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked Defense Forces’ positions five times near Novomarkove and in the directions of Mykolaivka and Stupochky.
In the Toretsk direction, the invaders launched 13 assaults on our units’ positions in the areas of Dyliivka, Shcherbynivka, Petrivka, Yablunivka, and Rusyn Yar, as well as in the directions of Pleshchiivka and Yablunivka. Fighting continues at three locations.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy attempted 24 attacks throughout the day near the settlements of Promin, Novotoretske, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Novosergiivka, Udachne, Oleksiivka, and in the directions of Shakhove, Volodymyrivka, Molodetske, and Novopavlivka. Five engagements are still ongoing. Airstrikes targeted the areas of Poltavka, Malynivka, Novotretske, Razine, and Pokrovsk.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the aggressor launched 11 attacks with air support in the areas of Bahatyr, Novosilka, Shevchenko, Vilne Pole, and in the direction of Voskresenka.
In the Prydniprovskiy direction, the enemy launched four assaults on our defenders’ positions. Three attacks have already been repelled; one combat engagement is ongoing.
In the Northern-Slobozhansky, Kursk, Siversky, Huliaipilskiy, and Orikhiv directions, no offensive actions by the enemy have been recorded at this time.
Ukrainian forces continue to exhaust the enemy along the entire line of contact and in the rear.
A grouping of Unmanned Systems Forces has been established in Ukraine. It will unite the military units of the Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) and the “Drone Line” initiative under a single command. For the first time, units operating drones will function within a unified command structure, enabling standardized approaches, coordinated actions, and more systematic combat use of unmanned systems. The commander is Robert “Madyar” Brovdi. This is part of a 100-day development plan for the USF.
The Ministry of Defense has approved the unmanned ground complex TERMIT for military use. TERMIT is a tracked robotic system — a new iteration of the platform. Numerous units of the previous model are already operating on the frontline. They are used, for example, for logistical tasks and enemy surveillance. This was reported by the Ministry’s press service, citing the Main Directorate for Armament Lifecycle Support.

Frontline
In the Southern-Slobozhansky direction, the occupiers are conducting one attack on the Defense Forces’ positions near the settlement of Dvorichna. As of 16:00, the combat engagement is ongoing, according to the General Staff.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces attempted one advance toward Ukrainian positions near Pishchane during the day. The Defense Forces successfully repelled the attack.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine offensive actions by the Russian army, including in the area of Novyi Myr.
The previous day saw 1,212 combat engagements along the frontline.
Shelling
A 75-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries as a result of an FPV drone strike on the village of Ivashky in the Zolochiv community around 18:40, according to Head of the Regional Military Administration Viktor Kovalenko.
At 15:10, Russian forces struck Derhachi with a “Molniya” drone, reported Head of the Military Administration Vyacheslav Zadorenko. The attack damaged windows in apartment buildings where residents were present.
Over the past week, at least 23 settlements in Kharkiv region, including the city of Kharkiv, came under enemy strikes.
As a result of the attacks, 12 people were injured, including 3 children. The youngest victim is a 12-year-old girl, while the oldest injured person is 80 years old. A 77-year-old man was killed.

729 windows were shattered in 27 buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi, Osnovianskyi, and Kyivskyi districts of Kharkiv due to Russian attacks last week, reported Mayor Ihor Terekhov. He stated that Russia launched six drone strikes on the city over the week.
The greatest destruction was once again inflicted on civilian infrastructure in Kupiansk district, where at least 19 private homes were damaged. Significant damage was also recorded in Kharkiv district: 13 private homes, vehicles, outbuildings, and power and gas networks.
In Kharkiv city, over 60 civilian objects were damaged last week — including both apartment buildings and private homes, as well as cars.
The State Emergency Service (SES) extinguished 15 fires caused by the shelling in Kharkiv, Lozova, and several settlements in the Bohodukhiv district. Emergency rescue work was completed at 10 destroyed sites.
A total of 768 explosive devices were neutralized.
Donetsk oblast
Frontline
In Donetsk region, units of the 33rd Separate Mechanized Brigade are holding the defense of Bahatyr village, located near the administrative border with Dnipropetrovsk region.
Shelling
In the Pokrovsk community, Russian forces shelled the private sector and struck a civilian vehicle with an FPV drone: a 55-year-old man and woman were killed, and another man was injured, according to the Regional Military Administration.
In Kostiantynivka, one man was also killed, and another person was injured.
In the early morning, the enemy struck Torske and Yarova.
Over the past day, two people were killed and five injured due to Russian strikes in Donetsk region. Police recorded 3,581 shelling incidents along the frontline and in residential areas.
The enemy attacked 10 settlements: Dobropillia, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk, Siversk, Sloviansk, Novoeconomichne (village), and the villages of Ivanopillia, Myrne, and Raiske.
A total of 26 civilian objects were damaged, including 11 residential homes.
In Siversk, the Russians struck with artillery, killing a civilian and damaging a private house.
One person was killed in Myrne, Komarska community, as a result of an UMPB-30SN aerial bomb strike. A private house was damaged.
In Pokrovsk, a civilian was injured by an FPV drone strike. Another person was injured in Novoeconomichne, where a household was damaged.
In Kostiantynivka, one person was injured, and an infrastructure facility was damaged. Two Russian UAVs targeted Raiske in the Druzhkivka community, injuring a civilian and damaging a medical facility.
Kramatorsk was hit with Tornado-S and Smerch multiple rocket launchers — three private homes and an infrastructure object were damaged.
Six S-300 missiles were fired by Russian forces at Sloviansk — three businesses were damaged.
Dobropillia came under enemy fire twice — in the afternoon and again during the night. One person was injured, and seven private homes and a civilian vehicle were damaged.
Rescuers recovered a body from under the rubble of a building in Kramatorsk, reported Head of the Military Administration, Mr. Honcharenko. This is the fifth fatality resulting from the Russian strike on June 21. The victim was a woman born in 1956. Emergency rescue operations at the site have now concluded.
Other
Due to the evening shelling of Kostiantynivka on June 22, the city was partially left without electricity, reported Head of the Military Administration Serhiy Horbunov. At 20:30, Russian forces struck with an FPV drone — one person was injured.
Over 3,000 customers in Donetsk region were left without gas supply due to Russian attacks, according to Donetskoblgaz. Repairs are ongoing where the security situation allows. In Sloviansk, gas supply was cut off to residents of 8 apartments and 4 private houses due to building destruction. In Kramatorsk, 87 apartments and 19 private houses were disconnected for the same reason.
An evacuation crew transported a child with her mother and a woman with limited mobility from the city of Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. They are now safe in other regions, police reported.

Luhansk oblast
In the Lyman sector of the frontline, the enemy launched 17 assaults, including near Tverdokhlibove in Luhansk region, according to the Regional Military Administration.
The occupiers plan to teach seven-year-old children to operate drones — meaning preparation for war will begin in first grade. The implementation of government tasks will be overseen by the propaganda group “Movement of the First.” In addition, a month ago, the textbook “Unmanned Aerial Vehicles” was added to Russia’s federal curriculum list and will be centrally delivered to schools. It will be studied during labor training classes.
In Sievierodonetsk, only one notary remains in operation, accepting clients during limited hours. It is currently impossible to get an appointment until the end of the year. Those hoping to register are waiting in case someone gives up their appointment and the line shortens.

Kyiv oblast
Operational information regarding the combined attack on Kyiv on 23 June 2025, as of 03:30 according to Kyiv City Military Administration:
Holosiivskyi district:— damage to two cars and a business centre. Preliminary report: no fires, no casualties.
Desnianskyi district:— crater in the courtyard of a residential building. No fires.
Darnitskyi district:— damage to a two-storey residential building. No fires and, preliminarily, no casualties.
Solomianskyi district:— consequences of the attack in at least five locations. Including damage to a business centre and an educational institution. A significant number of windows were broken.
Sviatoshynskyi district:— consequences of the attack at least 4 locations. Including debris falling on the stadium grounds, a fire near a residential building, and damage to a non-residential building.
Information about two injured men, aged 56 and 61, has been confirmed. The victims have been hospitalised.
Tymur Tkachenko, Head of Kyiv City Military Administration, reported that one of the exits of Sviatoshyn metro station and the surrounding area were damaged during the attack. Two people were treated on site.
Tymur Tkachenko also reported that he aftermath of the russian attack is still being eliminated in Shevchenkivskyi district.
Thirty objects were damaged, including 27 residential buildings and three educational institutions. Nearly 40 cars were also affected.
Once again, a russian missile hit a residential building and destroyed the segment of it from the rooftop to the basement. Nine people were killed, including an 11-year-old girl and her mother. Twenty-five people were injured.
Thirty-one units of machinery removed more than 600 cubic metres of construction debris. Specialists from the State Emergency Service and law enforcement officers were involved in the search and rescue operation.
In the morning, humanitarian headquarters are working in the area to provide comprehensive support. Seventy-two victims have applied for 10,000 hryvnia in compensation under the “Care. Towards Kyiv Residents” programme, and 23 have applied for compensation under the yeVidnovlennia programme. Sixteen people have applied for compensation for renting accommodation (40,000 immediately, 20,000 monthly).

Kyiv Regional Military Administration reported the following damage: In Bila Tserkva region, three private houses caught fire as a result of debris from downed targets falling on them. An apartment building was damaged. A hotel building, which housed a medical facility, was destroyed. A woman born in 1957 died from her injuries. Two people were hospitalised at a local hospital. Two more people were given medical assistance on the spot.
Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration, reported the following damage:Eight people were injured. Three of the wounded had been treated at a medical facility that was destroyed in the current attack.
During the firefighting operation, two State Emergency Service employees were injured as a result of repeated shelling.
All the victims were taken to a local hospital. All necessary assistance is being provided.
Two women with body contusions were rescued from the rubble of a private house, but they refused hospitalisation.
A 78-year-old woman from the Bucha district suffered an acute stress reaction. She was hospitalised.
The consequences are recorded in four districts of the region: Boryspil region:16 private houses and one car were damaged.
Bucha region:Five private houses and four cars were damaged.
Bila Tserkva region:15 private houses, six multi-storey buildings, seven administrative buildings, enterprises, shops, four medical facilities, four educational institutions, and 14 cars were damaged.
Vyshhorod region:A private house was damaged.
Damage to high-rise buildings — broken windows. The degree of damage to private houses varies — from broken windows and damaged roofs to complete destruction of buildings.
Patients from the destroyed medical facility were evacuated to a local hospital. Among them is a 5-year-old child. All necessary assistance is being provided.
Four medical and four educational institutions were attacked in Bila Tserkva. Patients, including a 5-year-old child, were evacuated. The victims are receiving all necessary assistance. Commissions are working, priority support has been organised, and restoration is already underway.
As a result of the russian shelling at night in Bila Tserkva in Kyiv oblast, the Transfiguration Cathedral was damaged, according to Metropolitan Yevstratii Zoria of Bila Tserkva.
Zhytomyr oblast
A UAV school for civilians has been launched in Zhytomyr. The project is being implemented as part of the grant programme “For Youth. Action” carried out by the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of the Zhytomyr City Council. The aim of the project is to provide basic knowledge and practical skills in drone operation to all interested residents of the city.
As part of the nationwide campaign “To the Children of Our Defenders”, a charity event was held in Zhytomyr on 23 June. Its main goal is to consolidate the efforts of state authorities, local businesses and the community to provide support to children who have lost one of their parents in the war for Ukraine’s independence.
A pilot project to provide free dental care to military personnel and veterans is underway at municipal dental clinics № 1 and №2 of Zhytomyr City Council.
Sumy oblast
In the Krasnopillia community, a Russian drone attacked a village, injuring a 68-year-old local resident.
In the Putyvl community on June 23, during the day, a Russian UAV strike injured 11 people, including a pregnant woman, a 6-year-old boy, and a 16-year-old girl. Nearby buildings and a vehicle were damaged.
Between the morning of June 22 and the morning of June 23, 2025, Russian forces carried out nearly 70 attacks on 34 settlements across 15 territorial communities in the region. The highest number of strikes was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts. The enemy actively used UAV-dropped VOG grenades (over 10 strikes) and guided aerial bombs (up to 10 strikes), as well as MLRS, FPV drones, and other unmanned aerial vehicles.
During the day, five people were evacuated from border communities by local authorities in cooperation with State Emergency Service units, the National Police, and NGOs.
A patriotic run called “Road of Courage” took place in the Sumy region. The event gathered around 80 participants, including 15 veterans of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Chernihiv oblast
On June 23, Russian forces attacked four border communities in the Chernihiv region: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk.
According to the Chernihiv Border Detachment, the enemy carried out mortar shelling (48 explosions), MLRS strikes (22 explosions), and artillery shelling (13 explosions). They also launched attacks using Lancet-type UAVs (1 explosion), FPV drones (11 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from drones (18 explosions).
In the Semenivka community, the enemy dropped an explosive device from a UAV on the village of Mykolaivka, destroying a private house, as reported by Operational Command “North.” An FPV drone strike near the town of Semenivka caused a fire in household structures.
In the Snovsk community, Russian troops attacked the village of Novi Borovychi with a Lancet UAV, killing two people and injuring ten others. Two vehicles were destroyed, and one was damaged. In the village of Turya, shelling destroyed a private home and outbuildings.
Last week, the enemy carried out 292 attacks on 34 settlements in the region, resulting in a total of 751 explosions, according to the Head of the Regional Military Administration, Viacheslav Chaus.
In the Nizhyn area, a civilian man was killed. Homes and household structures were damaged.
A village in the Pryluky district was attacked by enemy drones. A local woman was injured. Apartment buildings, cars, and garages were damaged.
Korukivka district also came under attack. On Tuesday morning, a resident of a village in the Snovsk community was wounded. On Sunday evening, an attack on one of the settlements in the Snovsk area killed two people and injured eleven others.
In the Novhorod-Siverskyi district, several homes were destroyed and damaged by Russian shelling.
An 18-year-old girl, who was wounded in an attack on the evening of June 22, is being treated at the Snovsk Central District Hospital. She is currently in the surgical ward in stable condition.

Dnipropetrovsk oblast
During the night, air defence forces were active. Ukrainian defenders shot down 5 enemy drones.
Also, in the evening and morning, russian forces attacked Nikopol region, targeting Marhanets and Myrove communities.
During the day, the enemy struck Nikopol region nearly a dozen times by drones and artillery. The attacks targeted the regional centre and Pokrov community, damaging 3 apartment buildings, 5 private houses and 3 outbuildings, 2 more were destroyed. A garage and a gas pipeline were damaged.
Kirovohrad oblast
Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, stated that dozens of enemy drones flew over the oblast during the night. Mobile fire groups responded actively. There were no casualties or infrastructure damage reported.
In Kamianka community, the release of Andriy Rudenko from russian captivity was confirmed. He was returned during a prisoner exchange on 20 June. Rudenko had been captured in April 2022 near Novobakhmutivka village, Donetsk oblast.
In Kropyvnytskyi, the city welcomed back defender Yaroslav Shcherbak, who was freed from russian captivity on 25 May. He had been imprisoned for over 3 years. Shcherbak participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in 2014–2015 and joined the Territorial Defence Forces in 2022. He volunteered for service in a military unit, serving in the 57th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade named after Kostia Hordiienko. He was captured on 18 May 2022 in Toshkivka village, Luhansk oblast.
Poltava oblast
During the 20 June prisoner exchange, 2 more soldiers from the oblast were released: Serhii Doshchenko from Hrebinka and Oleksandr Pylypenko from Radyvonivka. Both spent more than 2 years in russian captivity. They are undergoing medical treatment and rehabilitation.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine to Mykola Horodnichenko, who was killed on 8 January 2024 in Kherson oblast. The airborne major from Poltava oblast had taken part in the liberation of Kharkiv, Bakhmut and Kherson oblasts.
Cherkasy oblast
The oblast remained under air raid alert for over 8 hours. Air defence forces engaged enemy targets and neutralised 16 russian drones. There were no injuries or infrastructure damage reported.
Cherkasy oblast paid tribute to fallen serviceman Oleksandr Kavun, who was killed in Zaporizhzhia oblast. He was 44 years old.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
Yesterday, 22 June, the occupiers carried out 458 strikes on 10 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The enemy launched one missile strike on Nyzhnia Khortytsia. russian forces conducted four airstrikes on Kamianske, Huliaipole, and Novodanylivka. 300 UAVs of various modifications (mostly FPV) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Olenivka, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. Eight MLRS attacks hit Kamianske, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, and Novodanylivka. There were 145 artillery strikes on Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novopavlivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. The resistance movement “Yellow Ribbon” reported that the occupiers plan to convert the premises of the Catholic Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Berdiansk into residential space to house “specialists” from russia. Earlier, the Center for National Resistance had reported that the russian occupation authorities planned to remove the German organ from the Roman Catholic Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and transport it to russia.
Mykolaiv oblast
On the night of 23 June, air defense forces destroyed two Shahed-136/131 type UAVs in Mykolaiv oblast.
In the morning of 23 June, at 05:34, the enemy carried out an artillery strike on Kutsurub community. No casualties were reported.
Yesterday, 22 June, at 17:05, the enemy launched an airstrike on the city of Ochakiv using two missiles, reportedly Kh-59/69. As a result of the missile attack, three people were injured. Additionally, two apartment buildings, 22 private houses, a power line, and a car were damaged, and dry grass caught fire.
Yesterday, 22 June, the enemy carried out three FPV drone attacks on Kutsurub community. The strikes damaged a transformer substation in the village of Dmytrivka and caused two dry grass fires.
Odesa oblast
The enemy attacked the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi with a ballistic missile. As a result of the russian strike on an educational institution, two people were killed and at least twelve were injured. Three of the injured are in critical condition. The others, including two teenagers, are in moderate condition.

As of 6:00 am on 16 June, 2 enemy ships were stationed in the Mediterranean Sea.Over the past day, two vessels serving russian interests passed through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea, and another eight ships entered the Sea of Azov.
Kherson oblast
At approximately 06:40, russians attacked a man in Kherson with a drone. The 48-year-old man sustained severe injuries and died in the hospital.
A russian drone attack injured another resident of Kherson. Around 07:00, the enemy targeted a 60-year-old man in Korabelnyi district with a UAV. He sustained a blast injury, a concussion, and shrapnel wounds to his leg.
On 23 June, 2025, at about 5:30 am, russian forces launched a drone attack on Beryslav. As a result, a 46-year-old man was killed while being outside during the shelling.
Today it became known about the deaths of two residents of Kherson oblast due to russian attacks earlier. On 12 June, russians attacked a 69-year-old man in Antonivka with a drone. He sustained fatal injuries. On 16 June a 62-year-old man was killed in the russian shelling of Dniprovskyi district.
A Kherson resident who was injured during russian artillery attacl on 20 June sought medical help. The 33-year-old man was diagnosed with a blast injury and concussion.
Two residents of Bilozerka who suffered from russian shelling on 20 June also sought medical attention. The victims were diagnosed with concussions, blast injuries, and closed head injuries.
Yesterday, 22 June, the russian army attacked Beryslav, Shliakhove, Dariivka, Kostyrka, Odradokamianka, Mykolaivka, Tiahynka, Lvove, Burhunka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Nova Kamianka, Mykilske, Poniativka, Antonivka, Veletenske, Kizomys, Prydniprovskе, Sadove, Bilozerka, Sofiivka, Romashkove, Yantarne, Naddniprianske, Chereshenky, Havrylivka, Osokorivka, Vesele, Vysuntsi, Zolota Balka, Mylove, Mykhailivka, Novoberyslav, Novotiahynka, and the city of Kherson. According to the General Staff as of 16:00 on 12 June, the enemy attempted to advance on Ukrainian positions four times on the Prydniprovske axis — three attacks were repelled, and one battle is ongoing. The enemy made two unsuccessful attempts to attack Ukrainian positions in this direction the previous day. An exhibition was held in Zolochiv, during which UAH 20,091 was raised to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
A charity fair was held in the Berizka preschool educational institution of Novorozdil City Council, where UAH 20,257 was raised.
Rivne oblast
National Guardsmen took part in the Indestructible Rivne Oblast competition. The event brought together war veterans, combatants, and employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Participants competed in 4 sports disciplines: 60-kg barbell press, Concept 2 rowing, 16- or 24-kilogram kettlebell snatch and air bike exercise.
Ternopil oblast
Soldiers of one of the military units received seven Canon i-SENSYS MF3010 multifunctional devices from Ternopil at the request of the unit commander within the framework of the city’s Defense Capability program.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi community sent 150 FPV drones worth UAH 1.6m to the military.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA reported that over the past 10 days, during 4 stages of prisoner of war exchanges, 9 servicemen from Chernivtsi oblast have been returned home.

Norway allocated about €580m for the development and production of surface drones in Ukraine. The funding was provided within the framework of the “maritime coalition” led by Norway together with the United Kingdom.
