The Ukrainian Women’s Guard Among the Top 3 War Blogs in the World

The Ukrainian Women’s Guard blog has been ranked among the top three global information resources on the war in Ukraine by the platform Feedspot, placing 3rd out of 60 top blogs — ahead of CNN, The New York Times, and Fox News.

This is the third consecutive year our work has received international recognition. It reflects the global trust in our content — its credibility, consistency, and impact.

Every day, our team of volunteers works on the information frontline: gathering updates from the battlefield, verifying facts, translating them into English, and distributing them to diplomats, media outlets, analysts, and partners around the world.

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:

Since the beginning of the day, 101 combat engagements have taken place along the front line.
Ukrainian defenders are holding the line, stopping the enemy, and disrupting Russia’s plans.

Throughout the day, the enemy launched artillery strikes from Russian territory on the areas of Hirky, Shalyhyne, Stepok, Studenok, Khliborob, and Mariine in Sumy region; and Tymofiivka and Lemishchyne in Kharkiv region.

In the North-Slobozhanske and Kursk directions, Ukrainian defenders repelled ten enemy attacks, and three more engagements are still ongoing. The enemy carried out four air strikes, dropping six guided bombs, and conducted 177 artillery shellings, including four with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

In the South-Slobozhanske direction, no combat engagements have been reported since the beginning of the day.

In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two attacks near Holubivka and Zelenyi Hai.

In the Lyman direction, there were sixteen combat engagements near Novyi Myr, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Yampolivka, Torske, and in the direction of Serebrianka, Serednie, Shandryholove, and Hryhorivka. Seven engagements are currently ongoing.

In the Prydniprovske direction, there was one combat engagement near Prydniprovske. The enemy failed to achieve any success.

Ukrainian forces continue to exhaust the enemy along the entire contact line and in the rear.

In Sumy region, more than 60 people, including 10 children, have been evacuated from border communities over the past week.
In total, 213 settlements in 18 communities of Sumy region are subject to evacuation due to constant shelling threats.

Soldiers of the 45th Separate Artillery Brigade successfully destroyed an enemy ground robotic system using a drone.
Ground robotic systems (GRS) are increasingly used in modern warfare — for reconnaissance, delivery of ammunition, evacuation of the wounded, and mine clearance. Thanks to coordinated efforts of artillery intelligence and UAV operators, Ukrainian troops were able to identify, track, and destroy one of these enemy systems with a precise strike.
