It has been the 1148 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding back the advance of Russian occupiers. Terrorists continue to destroy Ukrainian towns and villages with missile, air, and artillery strikes.

The Defense Forces are taking measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory. As of now, there have been 70 combat engagements.

Border communities have suffered from enemy artillery fire, including Prokhody, Dmytrivka, Shalyhyne, Bila Bereza, Hrabovske, Petrushivka, Porozok, Malushyne, Brusky, Velykyi Prykil, and Myropilske in Sumy region; Tymofiivka in Kharkiv region; and Huta-Studenetska in Chernihiv region. The aggressor carried out airstrikes on the areas of Petrushivka, Osoivka, Mala Rybytsia, and Myropilske in Sumy region.

In the Kharkiv direction, one enemy attack is ongoing near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers attempted three times to break through our defenses near Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Zahryzove.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army conducted ten attacks during the day on Ukrainian positions near Nadiia, Novosergiivka, Hrekivka, Novomykhailivka, Nove, and towards Olhivka and Zelena Dolyna. Three battles are ongoing at this time.

Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy assaults in the Siversk direction, near Ivano-Darivka, Vyiimka, and Verkhniokamianske.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped four enemy attacks near Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, and Stupochky.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out eight assault actions near Toretsk and Leonidivka; four battles are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 20 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near the settlements of Oleksandropil, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zvirove, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Preobrazhenka, Troitske, Andriivka, Bohdanivka, and towards Stara Mykolaivka and Serhiivka. The Defense Forces are holding the line and have repelled 17 enemy attacks; three battles continue. Airstrikes targeted Pokrovsk, Dovha Balka, Zoria, Nova Poltavka, Malynivka, Kalynivka, and Shevchenko Pershe.

In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy tried seven times to break through our defenses near Kostiantynopil. At the same time, enemy aircraft struck the areas of Zelene Pole, Komyshuvakha, and Verbove.

In the Huliaipole direction, Zaliznychne and Huliaipole suffered airstrikes.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked our defenders’ positions once near the settlement of Lobkove. Airstrikes hit Lukianivske, Stepnohirsk, and Kamianske.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy conducted two offensive actions and carried out airstrikes with guided bombs on Kherson.

In the Kursk direction, five combat engagements took place since the beginning of the day. Additionally, the enemy carried out five airstrikes, dropping 12 guided bombs, and conducted 190 shellings of our military positions and settlements, including three attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.

In other directions – no significant changes.

The enemy is using Shahed drones equipped with poisonous substances for strikes on Ukraine. It is known that one UAV contained a capsule with a concentrated combat irritant substance “CS” (tear gas). This is a highly toxic irritant agent. Enemy drones may scatter capsules with poisonous substances to harm people. However, reports by some media that the bodies of Russian drones are coated with toxic substances have not been confirmed.

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion, Ukraine has returned 4,306 military personnel and civilians from captivity, according to the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasyl Maliuk.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Frontline

As of 16:00, one enemy attack is ongoing near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv direction, according to the General Staff.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers made three attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Petropavlivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Zahryzove.

Earlier, in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy conducted one offensive operation near Vovchansk during the past day, according to the Regional Military Administration (RMA).

In the Kupiansk direction, there were three enemy attacks. Defense Forces repelled assault actions near Nova Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove.

Shelling

At 23:46, Russia attacked the village of Kivsharivka in the Kupiansk Territorial Community. Details: As a result of the strike—reportedly using a glide bomb (KAB)—an ambulance vehicle was damaged. A male paramedic was injured but refused hospitalization.

At 22:30, Russia also attacked the village of Kivsharivka in the Kupiansk Territorial Community. Details: As a result of a FAB-500 airstrike, a multi-story residential building was partially destroyed, and another ten residential buildings were damaged.

At 18:39, Russia attacked the village of Klynova Novoselivka (Oleksandrivka), Zolochiv community.
Details: As a result of shelling with four FPV drones, a private residential house and two outbuildings were damaged.

At 16:23, Russia attacked the city of Kupiansk, Kupiansk community.
Details: Three private residential houses were damaged as a result of artillery shelling.

At 14:43, Russia attacked the village of Osynove, Kupiansk community.
Details: A UAV crash was recorded in the reeds in an open area.

At 13:53, Russia attacked the city of Kupiansk, Kupiansk community.
Details: A private residential house was damaged as a result of MLRS shelling.

At 13:24, Russia attacked a field near the village of Shestakove, Starosaltiv community.
Details: A drone strike, likely a “Lancet,” set an excavator on fire. A 61-year-old driver was injured.

At 11:32, Russia attacked the village of Shestakove, Starosaltiv community.
Details: An FPV drone caused a fire in a tracked excavator (4 m²) and grass (20 m²). A 38-year-old driver was injured and hospitalized.

At 10:39, Russia attacked the area between Kupiansk and the village of Kindrashivka, Kindrashivka community.
Details: Two women were injured after an FPV drone dropped an explosive device (type to be determined). Both were hospitalized.

At 07:01, Russia attacked the village of Baranivka, Zolochiv community.
Details: Following what was likely a strike with four glide bombs (KABs) on the outskirts of the settlement, no damage was recorded.

At 06:48, Russia attacked the settlement of Slatyne, Derhachi community.
Details: Two glide bombs (KABs) ignited two garages and a vehicle, affecting an area of 40 m². Four two-story apartment buildings, a two-story outpatient clinic, four garages, and five private residential houses were damaged.

 

Donetsk oblast

Frontline

In Donetsk region, cases of Russian forces using chemical weapons have been recorded. Russian troops equipped several of their drones with capsules containing concentrated irritant gas. These drones were shot down, reported the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Filashkin.

Russian forces continue attacking Ukrainian Armed Forces’ positions in the Lyman direction, stated Maksym Bilousov, spokesperson of the 60th Separate Mechanized Inhulets Brigade. The enemy attacks with infantry, MLRS, artillery, and aviation.

Over the past day, 85 combat engagements occurred on the Donetsk frontlines. The highest number of Russian assaults took place in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the morning briefing by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Defense Forces repelled 32 Russian assaults near Sukhа Balka, Zelenе Pole, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novosergiivka, Troitske, Vodyane Druhe, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, and Stara Mykolaivka.

Fighting also continued in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Nadiya, Bilohorivka, Toretsk, and Konstantynopil.

Shelling

Three people were injured during shelling in Zarichne and Lyman in Donetsk Oblast on April 16. Russian forces used a drone—likely a “Molniya-2″—against Lyman, according to regional prosecutor’s office spokeswoman Anastasiia Medvedieva.

The day before, Russian troops carried out 3,803 strikes along the frontline and against residential areas. Fourteen populated areas came under fire: the cities of Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Pokrovsk, Sloviansk; the settlement of Berestok; and the villages of Hryshyne, Dyrylove, Ivanopillia, Koptieve, Nova Poltavka, Novoandriivka, Novotoretske, Torets, and Shandryholove.

78 civilian objects were damaged, including 38 residential buildings.

Kostiantynivka endured eight enemy attacks — using bombs, drones, and artillery. One person was injured. Nine private homes, a commercial pavilion, and a tire repair station were damaged.

In Berestok, Illinivka community, a Russian FPV drone strike injured a civilian and damaged a garage and a car.

Sloviansk was hit by six “Geran-2” drones — one person was wounded, an enterprise, two auto repair shops, and 17 civilian vehicles were damaged.
Another four drones attacked Novoandriivka (Kramatorsk district), damaging an industrial facility.

Lyman was shelled with “Uragan” MLRS, injuring one civilian and damaging nine private homes, three outbuildings, and a civilian car.
In Nova Poltavka (Kramatorsk district), three KAB-250 bombs damaged 16 private homes.

In Koptyeve, Shakhivska community, the enemy dropped a KAB-250 aerial bomb — one civilian was injured, and a private home, a tractor, and a car were damaged.

In Pokrovsk, bomb and artillery attacks destroyed both apartment buildings and private homes.
In Hryshyne, a private house was damaged.

Other:

Russian occupiers allegedly executed an unarmed captured Ukrainian soldier in Volnovakha district, Donetsk region, according to the regional prosecutor’s office. A criminal investigation has been launched. The Ombudsman of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Lubinets, responded to the incident and appealed to the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations.

In Chasiv Yar, due to constant shelling and fighting, no buildings remain intact — all have suffered critical damage, and most are destroyed, reported Serhiy Chaus, the head of the local military administration. 165 people remain in the city, hiding in basements. It is currently impossible to bring in humanitarian aid or evacuate people.

In Mariupol, the Russian occupation authorities are planning to demolish the remaining buildings in the historic district of the city, according to Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation. In the historic “Harbor” district, which survived the fighting, they plan to build a so-called “public and business center.”

The “Donetsk Region” stele, located on the border between Mariupol and Berdiansk, has been dismantled by Russian occupiers, the Mariupol City Council reported.

Luhansk oblast

Over the past day, the invaders attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Tverdokhlibove and Nadiya on the Lyman front, as well as in Bilohorivka on the Siversk front.

In our responsibility zone, the enemy carried out two airstrikes. Additionally, they fired 15 times using towed artillery. Russian UAVs (238 units) carried out combat missions in this area of the front.

By January 1, 2026, the Russians are demanding that owners of industrial facilities re-register their legal entities according to Russian law. Otherwise, these facilities will be recognized as ownerless, and a “nationalization” procedure will be initiated to transfer them to federal or municipal ownership.

Over the course of the year, ten mobile cultural clubs were delivered to the so-called “LPR.” They operate in towns and villages where cultural houses are no longer functioning, including due to closures, staff reductions, or lack of funds for maintenance. The invaders provided only the vehicles, with the necessary arrangements for operation being made at the expense of local budgets.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The Mobile Rescue Centre of the State Emergency Service reported that in Bucha district, a farmer found an object similar to a shell during agricultural work. Pyrotechnics identified it as a 122 mm rocket from a BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher system. The sappers seized the munition and conducted an additional survey of the surrounding area.

According to RMA, Kyiv oblast has a strong infrastructure to support veterans. There are: 10 rehabilitation centres that provide medical and psychological assistance; 11 veterans’ spaces that provide counselling, administrative, legal and other services; 148 specialists who accompany veterans on all key issues. The Bureviy amphibious football team was created as an example of social adaptation and physical rehabilitation. A regional council of veterans is being formed as a platform for ongoing dialogue, coordination and decision-making.

In Kyiv, 20-year-old Lithuanian volunteer Thomas Valentis was buried on Independence Square. He was killed on 13 March during his first combat mission. Representatives of the Lithuanian Embassy came to Maidan Nezalezhnosti to pay tribute to the fallen volunteer. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of russia, Tomas Valentis is the second Lithuanian to die at the frontline.

Zhytomyr oblast

The Zhytomyr City Council informed that over UAH 90 million in compensation has been paid to owners of housing damaged and destroyed by russian shelling. The Commission for Compensation for Damaged and Destroyed Property in Zhytomyr community processed 178 applications to compensate for damaged property. Of these, 145 applicants received compensation.

A modern shelter was opened in the Hlybochytsia lyceum in Zhytomyr district. The protective structure combines safety, comfort and opportunities to continue the educational process during air raids. The shelter was built at the expense of the local budget.

A space of silence and remembrance to honour the graduates of the educational institution who died in the current russian-Ukrainian war was opened at the Zhytomyr Music College named after Viktor Kosenko. The space is dedicated to four artists: Vasyl Kukharskyi (‘Actor’) – theatre and film actor; Ivan Kuzminskyi (‘Docent/Associate Professor’) – college lecturer, associate professor of the Department of Ancient Music at the NMAU; Mykola Polianovskyi (‘Maestro’) – founder of the International Festival of Instrumental Music ‘Sunny Clarinets’ in Zhytomyr, college lecturer; Mykhailo Havryliuk (‘Musician’) – pianist, sound engineer.

Sumy oblast

SBGSU on April 15 reported that fighters of the 5th Detachment of the State Border Guard Service destroyed enemy assault groups attempting to enter the territory of Sumy oblast. Thanks to the effective work of UAV operators, enemy quad bikes, communication equipment, and assault groups were eliminated.

In Velyka Pysarivka community on 16 April, a civilian man was killed due to russian shelling, and a car was also damaged. Two FPV-drone strikes (2 explosions) were recorded in the community.

The enemy carried out a kamikaze drone strike on Nova Slobidka community. As a result of the attack, a car was damaged.

In Okhtyrka community, a private residential house and a non-residential building were damaged due to UAV strikes.

The Regional Military Administration informed that overall, during the night and morning, russian forces carried out 40 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast. A total of 89 explosions were recorded.

On the night of 16 April, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 6 enemy ‘Shahed’ UAVs in the skies over Sumy oblast.

Throughout the past day, 15 April, russian forces carried out 115 shelling attacks on Sumy oblast, with a total of 247 strikes recorded. The enemy used mortars (71 explosions), MLRS (39 explosions), artillery (52 explosions), FPV-drones (30 explosions), GABs (25 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (29 explosions). Thirteen communities came under enemy fire: Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Buryn, Nova Slobidka, Shalyhyne, Esman, Svesa, Khutir-Mykhailivskyi, and Seredyna-Buda.

According to the Regional Military Administration, on 15 April, as a result of strikes on Krasnopillia community, a civilian man was injured, and a two-story apartment building sustained significant damage. In Velyka Pysarivka community, a private residential house was damaged due to enemy shelling.

In Sumy, a farewell was held for teacher Maryna Chudesa and her mother, nurse Lyudmyla Serhiyenko, who were killed by the russian army. After the first explosion in the center of Sumy on 13 April, the women were helping the injured and died as a result of the second missile strike.

Vasyl Karpusha, Sumy State University’s Rector, as a result of the double missile strike by russian forces on 13 April, three employees of Sumy State University were injured: a security guard, a technical staff member, and another university worker. The enemy’s missile strike destroyed the Congress Center, significantly damaged the K2 building of the Institute of Business, Economics, and Management, as well as the Institute of Law. According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, for the third consecutive day, rescuers have been dismantling hazardous structures and continuing their work at the site of missile strikes that the enemy carried out on 13 April in the center of Sumy.

State Emergency Service of Sumy oblast reported that in Sumy oblast, police bomb disposal experts neutralized a russian FAB-250 aerial bomb, which fell on a field near a settlement during another airstrike.

One hundred Ukrainian children from preferential categories, including children from Sumy oblast, had the opportunity to spend 10 days in Latvia, taking a break from the horrors of war. They visited excursions, participated in various competitions, and received prizes. This is already the second such trip for young Ukrainians to Latvia. The host country covered the cost of their stay.

Chernihiv oblast

Chernihiv Border Detachment reported that throughout the day on 15 April, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (12 explosions), artillery shelling (11 explosions), and automatic grenade launcher attacks (32 explosions). They also conducted FPV-drone strikes (9 explosions), used a ‘Molniya’ aircraft-type UAV (1 explosion), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (15 explosions). Thirteen settlements came under enemy fire.

In the area of Semenivka on 15 April, russian forces carried out three strikes using ‘Molniya’ aircraft-type FPV-drones. The strikes hit a commercial enterprise building and a train near the railway station. No injuries were reported.

In Pryluky, a farewell was held for 19-year-old Daria Loboda, who died on 13 April as a result of a double missile strike by russian forces in Sumy. The young woman was a medical university student and was caught in the second missile strike while running to help the injured.

Ukrzaliznytsia announced that in Chernihiv oblast, starting 18 April, four suburban trains running in the border area of Semenivka community will be temporarily canceled. The decision was made due to increased shelling by russian forces.

The Department of Culture and Tourism, Nationalities, and Religions of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration informed that exhibits from six museums in Chernihiv oblast are planned to be evacuated to safer locations farther from the combat zone.

According to the Regional Military Administration, in Chernihiv oblast, in Yahidne village, the reconstruction of four more residential buildings has begun. A total of 97 houses are being rebuilt in Yahidne, with 56 already fully renovated, while the others are in various stages of construction.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The Air Armed forces were working late in the evening. The defenders of the skies from the Vostok Air Force destroyed 7 enemy UAVs. 

Fires broke out in Kamianske as a result of an enemy attack. Men aged 39 and 48 were injured. They received the necessary medical care. A business and 10 cars were damaged. In the evening and into the night, the occupiers continued to attack Nikopol region. They fired at the region centre with kamikaze drones and artillery. A private house, a garage and an outbuilding were damaged. There were no casualties. In the evening, the enemy attacked Novopavlivka community of Sinelnykivskyi region with multiple rocket launchers. 10 private houses, shops, a power line and infrastructure were damaged. 

During the day, the occupiers attacked Nikopol region about a dozen times. They attacked mainly with kamikaze drones, and fired from artillery. They targeted the region centre, Marhanets and Pokrov communities. A fire broke out in Nikopol. A multi-storey building and an infrastructure facility were damaged. A car and infrastructure were also hit in Pokrov community. There were no casualties.

Vinnytsia oblast

Serhiy Morgunov, Mayor of Vinnytsia, reported that forty children from frontline Balakliia spent two days in Vinnytsia with sports, excursions and children’s laughter, which is so important to hear even during the war. Sports competitions were the main part of the visit as part of the “Side by Side: United Communities” project. After the de-occupation of Balakliia, Vinnytsia oblast remains close by, supporting the community. 

Kirovohrad oblast

The Air Armed forces were working over Kirovohrad oblast at night. The area was attacked by drones. There were no consequences. 

Two soldiers from Kirovograd oblast were killed in the war. Kostiantyn Lysenko, 25, died on 12 April 2025 while performing a combat mission near Pokrovsk, Donetsk oblast. Volodymyr Kashuba, 47, died on 8 April 2025 while performing a combat mission in Vovchansk region of Kharkiv oblast.

Cherkasy oblast

Helmiazivka community paid the last tribute to Petro Orlenko, a war dead man. He died on 27 December 2023, in New York, Bakhmut region, Donetsk oblast, while performing a combat mission.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Today, 16 April, the russian army attacked the frontline town of Orikhiv with a drone. As a result of the strike, one person was injured.

Over the past day, the occupiers launched 513 strikes on 13 populated areas in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces conducted 6 airstrikes on Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, and Malynivka. 382 UAVs of various types attacked Zaporizhzhia, Bilenke, Yurivka, Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Five MLRS attacks hit Mahdalynivka and Shcherbaky. There were 120 artillery strikes on Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Nineteen reports about damage to houses, apartments, and infrastructure objects were received.

Yesterday, 15 April, three fires broke out in Zaporizhzhia due to russian attacks. Four residential buildings and two utility structures burned in Yurivka. A utility structure caught fire in Bilenke, and a tarp ignited in Stepnohirsk.

It is reported that the enemy attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders once near the settlement of Lobkove towards Orikhiv. Airstrikes hit Lukyanivske, Stepnohirsk, and Kamianske.

Mykolaiv oblast

On the night of 16 April, air defense forces destroyed three Shahed 131/136 type UAVs in Mykolaiv oblast.

Yesterday, 15 April, the enemy attacked Kutsurub community eight times with FPV drones. As a result of one of the strikes, four settlements were left without power. The outage was quickly repaired. Also yesterday, the enemy attacked the waters of Ochakiv community eight times with FPV drones. There were no casualties

Odesa oblast

On the night of 16 April, the russian armed forces attacked civilian infrastructure in Odesa with strike drones. As a result of the attack, three people were injured. Private residential buildings, warehouses of civilian enterprises, a pharmacy, a church, and vehicles were damaged.

Odesa City Council reported that Odesa Gymnasium No. 19 was affected due to the russian attack during the night of 16 April. Its windows, doors, and several classrooms were damaged.

As of 6:00 am on 16 April, there were 3 enemy vessels in the Mediterranean Sea, which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, with a total salvo capacity of up to 26 missiles.

Over the past day, 6 vessels passed through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea in russia’s interests, while 5 more ships entered the Sea of Azov.

Kherson oblast

This morning, russian forces heavily shelled Kherson. The occupiers carried out an airstrike and artillery shelling on Tavriyskyi neighborhood. The massive artillery barrage on Tavriyskyi lasted for nearly half an hour. As a result of shell explosions, 18 apartment and private houses, two educational institutions, three supermarkets, a post office, and nine civilian vehicles were damaged.

Around 06:30, russian pilots carried out an airstrike on a sports complex in Tsentralnyi district of Kherson. Four guided bombs hit the ice arena building, destroying the facility. While firefighters were extinguishing the fire at the strike site, russian troops launched another artillery strike, damaging two service vehicles.

As a result of the morning attacks on Kherson, one person was killed, and another 11 people sustained injuries of varying severity.

Around 17:00, the russian army shelled Novooleksandrivka with artillery. There were at least 20 impacts. The attack damaged about ten private houses and household buildings.

Today, russian forces attacked a man in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with a drone. The 69-year-old Kherson resident sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his arms and legs. He was hospitalized in moderate condition.

At noon, russian forces shelled Oleksandrivka in Stanislav community. A 50-year-old man who was near a store was hit. He sustained a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the neck.

A Kherson resident who was injured during a russian shelling the previous evening sought medical help. The 67-year-old man was diagnosed with light injuries: a blast injury and concussion.

Another man from Inzhenerne who was hit by a russian drone strike also sought medical attention. The 52-year-old sustained a blast injury and wounds to the pelvis and arm.

Yesterday, russian forces carried out artillery strikes and drone attacks on Kherson, Antonivka, Molodizhne, Mykilske, Komyshany, Romashkove, Prydniprovske, Kizomys, Bilozerka, Zelenivka, Sadove, Beryslav, Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Virivka, and Monastyrske. As a result of the shelling, 26 objects were damaged: two apartment buildings, 11 private houses, a police service car, seven civilian vehicles, gas pipelines, a garage, and household structures. 15 people were injured in russian shelling, including five police officers.

Over the past day, russian forces in the south lost 17 artillery systems, 30 units of motor and armored vehicles, 10 drones, and six electronic warfare stations. Ukrainian fighters also eliminated 84 occupiers. Additionally, they destroyed a boat, six motorcycles, eight UAV control antennas, three communication antennas, a generator, two ammunition depots, three storage sites for ammunition and fuel, 78 shelters/dugouts, five observation posts, and two russian army firing positions.

Volyn oblast

Lutsk community sent a quadcopter (DJI Mavic 3T Enterprise (Thermal)) to the 1st Rifle Battalion of the Military Unit A7028.

Zakarpattia oblast

15 applications for compensation for the installation of alternative energy sources were approved for the oblast. The amount of financial support from the regional budget within the framework of the program to improve housing conditions for residents of the oblast and servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is over UAH 418,000.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Ivano-Frankivsk community sent 50 FPV drones to the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade thanks to the budget.

Lviv oblast

Sweden will allocate 4m Swedish kronor for the construction of a surgical building for the UNBROKEN rehabilitation center. Swedfund will allocate funds to prepare a feasibility study and attract investment for the construction of the UNBROKEN building.

Horodotska community sent the 25th package of volunteer aid with 17 DJI Mavic quadcopters, FPV drones, an electronic warfare system, a Starlink, 4 cars, a motorcycle and medicines worth over UAH 8m to the east.

In Zymnovodivska community during the Winter Ball students raised funds and presented an FPV drone to military Andrii Arendarchyk. Also, educators of the community presented 7 FPV drones to the 35th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi. The Lyceum named after His Beatitude Lubomyr Huzar sent an SUV to defender Iryna Darnobyt.

Rivne oblast

On the eve of Easter, master classes are held at Rivne Region Resilience Centers. IDPs and local residents unite around traditions, joint creativity, and preparation for the bright holiday. Each Center implements its own program, but all activities have a common goal – to support people and strengthen communities through communication, creativity and mutual assistance.

Ternopil oblast

A new innovative rehabilitation center RECOVERY has opened in Ternopil – a space for recovery and care for military personnel injured in combat. Every year, over 1,000 military personnel will be able to undergo rehabilitation here free of charge according to the best world standards.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi community has allocated UAH 52m for energy conservation measures. This includes public institutions, high-rise buildings, etc.

Chernivtsi oblast

The Consul General of Mateusz Natkowski, Republic of Poland in Vinnytsia, and Tomasz Kowal, Vice Consul paid a working visit to Chernivtsi. During the meeting at the RMA, they discussed the prospects for further cooperation.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Ukraine will receive over $190m from 7 countries to rebuild affected communities. The Partnership for a Strong Ukraine program is funded by the governments of Canada, Estonia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Mark Rutte, NATO Secretary General. They discussed the security of Ukraine and all of Europe.
