Three and a half years ago, the invaders announced plans to build six landfills in the so-called “LPR.” Since then, roughly once every six months, they have postponed the start of construction. The latest reason cited is the time needed to address comments from the state expert review regarding the design and cost documentation. This concerns a waste processing complex planned for Rodakove. The issue of construction financing remains unresolved. The completion deadline has now been pushed back by another two years. The new target date is 2029. The situation with the other five facilities is even worse.

The occupation administration of Sievierodonetsk has published another list of residential properties it intends to subject to so-called “nationalization.” The list includes 31 apartments in three multi-story buildings. Allegedly, all of them show signs of being ownerless property. Owners have been given 30 days to appear in the city with a Russian passport. The scheme of property seizure in the occupied Luhansk region remains unchanged.
