It has been the 930th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The situation at the front remains difficult and tense. Despite significant losses inflicted by Ukrainian defenders, russians continue trying to break through the Ukrainian army’s defence. The heaviest fighting today is towards Kurakhove and Pokrovsk.

There were 76 engagements on the front line.

The enemy’s artillery and air attacks continue in the border vicinities of Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts. Today, artillery strikes from russian territory hit the vicinities of Mykolaivka, Malushine, Halahanivka, Popivka, Tovstodubove, and Oleksandrivka. russians also dropped 20 aerial bombs on Hremyach, Pustohorod, Hlukhiv, Richky, Pavlivka, and Mykolaivka.

The aggressor also strikes its own territory. According to available information, today  russians launched eight airstrikes on russia’s Kursk region, using ten bombs.

Towards Kharkiv, russian occupiers attempted to storm Ukrainian defensive lines near Vovchansk, and fighting is ongoing.

Towards Kupiansk, russians launched five active attacks on Ukrainian positions near Synkivka and Lozova, but Ukrainian soldiers are holding firm.

Towards Lyman, the invading army launched 16 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Druzhliubivka, Tverdokhlibove, Nevske, Makiivka, Novosadove and Torske. Eleven clashes have ended, while five are ongoing.

Towards Siversk, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine russian attacks near Verkhnokamianske, Hryhorivka and Spirne.

Towards Kramatorsk, the invaders launched three assaults near Ivanivske and Kalynivka. One battle is still ongoing, but the situation is under control.

Towards Toretsk, the number of russians attacks increased to five. russians focused their efforts near Dachne, Toretsk and Nelipivka. The Defense Forces repelled two attacks, while three battles are ongoing. The occupiers are actively using aviation in this vicinity, especially bombarding Toretsk and Ivanopillia.

Towards Pokrovsk, russian occupiers, supported by aviation, attempted 14 times to displace Ukrainian defenders from positions near Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Svyrydonivka, Hrodivka, Ivanivka, Novohrodivka, Mykhailivka, and Marynivka. The Defense Forces repelled 11 attacks, while three continued. russians losses are being clarified.

Towards Kurakhove, fighting continues near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Ukrainsk, Antonivka and Kostiantynivka. As of today, there were 14 attacks by russian army, three of which are still ongoing.

Towards Vremivka, russians have not yet conducted active offensive operations but continues shelling positions and settlements while carrying out airstrikes.

Towards Orikhiv, the occupiers made an unsuccessful attempt to attack near Mali Shcherbaky.

Towards Kherson, russians made five unsuccessful attempts to displace Ukrainian soldiers from their positions.

The Ministry of Defense reported that it has introduced the Dzhura armored vehicle into the Ukrainian military. It is built on a Toyota Land Cruiser 70 chassis with a specially designed armoured capsule. It is lightweight, making it more manoeuvrable. The Dzhura can be produced in different configurations for reconnaissance, patrolling, logistics, and evacuating the wounded. 

Prosecutor General Andrii Kostin reported that one of those responsible for the shelling of the Okhmatdyt hospital has been identified, who is the former commander of russia’s long-range aviation, who was promoted after launching the Kh-101 missile strike. He is now the commander of the russian Air Force and Deputy Commander of russia’s Aerospace Forces. He has been charged in absentia. The Security Service has identified him as russian Lieutenant General Sergei Kobylyash.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

According to the General Staff, the invaders have again increased their activity towards Pokrovsk and Kurakhove. Specifically, 41 attacks by russian troops were recorded towards Pokrovsk yesterday, with russians concentrating their forces near Novohrodivka and Mykhailivka.

 Towards Kurakhove, the russian army attacked Ukrainian positions 46 times, compared to 30 attacks the day before. In total, yesterday the invaders attacked Kostiantynivka village 15 times, Heorhiivka 12 times, Krasnohorivka 7 times and conducted 6 assaults in the direction of Ukrainsk. 

Kharkiv oblast

Towards Kharkiv, russian invaders stormed the defensive lines of Ukrainian troops near Vovchansk. According to the General Staff, as of 4pm, the battle is ongoing.

Towards Kupiansk, the occupiers actively attacked the positions of Ukrainian troops five times in the areas of Synkivka and Lozova. Ukrainian defenders are holding the line.

Viacheslav Zadorenko, Head of Derhachi CMA, reported that the russian Federation launched a combined attack on Kozacha Lopan – 3-4 explosions were heard in different parts of the village, The shelling caused fires: private houses and civilian infrastructure were damaged, a power line was severely damaged, and the village lost power and communication.

The press service of the Regional State Emergency Service reported that the fire caused by the strike on Kupiansk on the afternoon of 9 September, which set three shops and infrastructure facilities on fire, was finally extinguished only today. By the time the rescuers arrived, the fire had covered an area of 800 sq m. During the extinguishing process, the russians kept repeatedly striking with artillery. As soon as the rescuers resumed their work, the shelling started again.

At 1:01am, open area in Peresichne village of Solonytsivka community, Kharkiv region, was hit. As a result of the shelling, grass burned on the area of 800 sq m.

Yesterday the enemy attacked civilian infrastructure with 9 multiple rocket launchers and launched 2 FPV drones.

At 6:10pm, there was a hit outside of Novooleksandrivka village, Vovchansk community, Chuhuiv region. As a result of the shelling, grass and reeds were burning on the area of 2.5 hectares.

At 6:05pm Kupiansk  was targeted. As a result of the shelling, grass, reeds and the remains of household materials were burning on the area of 1 hectare.

At 4:10pm, Kupiansk was targeted. As a result of the shelling by the KAB, 3 shops were burning.

At 4:10pm, Zakharivka village of Chuhuiv region was attacked. A house was damaged as a result of shelling by an FPv drone. A 57-year-old man was injured.

At 1:05pm, Novoosynove village of Kurylivka community, Kupiansk region, was hit. As a result of the shelling an outbuilding burned.

At 1:05pm, Velyki Prokhody village of Kharkiv region was shelled. An excavator was damaged as a result of shelling by an FPV drone. A 52-year-old man was injured.

At 11:20am, Perovske village of Zolochiv community was hit. A private house and outbuildings were damaged as a result of mortar shelling.

At 8:23am, Zahryzove village of Borova community, Izium region, was attacked. As a result of the shelling, grass and reeds are burning on the area of 2.5 hectares.

 At 8:20am, Osynove village of Kupiansk region was targeted. As a result of the shelling the grass was burning on the area of 1 hectare.

At 8am, Kupiasnkm syffered. Two men were injured as a result of a hit of an enemy drone on a car: 71 years old and 49 years old.

Towards Kharkiv, two hostile attacks took place near Vovchansk and Hlyboke.

Towards Kupiansk, there were 12 enemy attacks yesterday. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults towards Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Stelmakhivka and Lozova.

Mixed-format exercises began in Krasnohrad region. 12 schools opened their doors to nearly 4,000 students, with 58% of pupils attending on the first day. Applications from parents are still coming in.

Two years ago, the Defence Forces liberated Kupyansk and Izium from the enemy. The security situation in these cities remains difficult, and the occupiers continue to strike.

Kharkiv Regional Military Administration and the World Health Organisation are strengthening their cooperation in the field of humanitarian aid. At a meeting with Hans Kluge, WHO Regional Director for Europe, Jarno Habicht, WHO Representative in Ukraine, Emanuele Bruni, Acting Head of the WHO Health Emergency Programme, and Serhii Dubrov, First Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, the RMA representatives discussed key areas of cooperation and healthcare needs in Kharkiv oblast. The main task for this year is to prepare medical institutions for the heating season and ensure their autonomy. An autonomous boiler house has already been built in Chuhuiv with the support of WHO. Strategically important tasks and needs include the reconstruction of the admission department of the Regional Clinical Hospital and the rehabilitation centre at the Regional Hospital, the construction of a new underground medical facility, the creation of a prosthetics centre, and important investment projects such as a cardiology and oncology centre.

Donetsk oblast

Pokrovsk CMA reported that one person was killed and another wounded in Pokrovske community as a result of russian shelling.

As a result of the russian strike, 28,000 people in Pokrovsk and Rodynske were left without gas. The occupiers hit a gas distribution station.

Oleksandr Honcharenko, Head of Kramatorsk CMA, rinformed that russian troops struck an industrial area in Kramatorsk.

Orest Drymalovskyi, a soldier of the 79th brigade, said that the russian army is trying to break through the defences of the Ukrainian military between Paraskoviivka and Kostiantynivka villages in Marinka community. The occupiers’ positions are in the area of the industrial zone in Kramatorsk.  

In Novomykhailivka and Kostiantynivka, russians are digging trenches under destroyed equipment to hide from Ukrainian kamikaze drones.

A  platoon commander of the 72nd Brigade, call sign Oscar. said that the occupiers are trying to throw troops into the rear of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ forward positions in Vuhledar and are trying to cut supply lines.

Three residents of Donetsk oblast were killed and five injured as a result of russian attacks. Police recorded 3,132 hostile attacks on the frontline and residential areas. The occupiers focused their fire on 8 settlements: Hirnyk, Kramatorsk, Kurakhove, Toretsk, Kleban-Byk, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Predtechyne and Shchurove.

35 civilian objects were damaged, including 21 residential buildings, administrative buildings, an enterprise, a trade pavilion, outbuildings and cars.

The russians dropped two FAB-250 guided aerial bombs with UMPK modules on Shchurove, killing a civilian and injuring another, damaging 8 private houses and 5 cars.

Also russian troops shelled Kleban-Byk with artillery, killing one person and wounding another, and damaging a private house and an outbuilding.

In Hirnyk, one civilian was killed and two wounded, and an apartment building was damaged.

A person was injured in Toretsk as a result of a shell hit.

The enemy attacked Kramatorsk with two FAB-250 bombs with UMPK modules, causing damage to an industrial facility.

In Predtechyne, a FAB-250 bomb with an UMPK module damaged 5 private houses.

The occupiers shelled Kurakhove four times with artillery and Uragan MRLs. As a result, an apartment building, 4 private houses, an administrative building, vehicles, a trade pavilion and outbuildings were damaged.

According to a government decree, owners of private homes in nine regions, including Donetsk and Luhansk, can receive a one-time allowance for fuel purchases. The payment is UAH 21,000.

Tetiana Kurmanova, Chair of the Board, reported that Hromadske Radio dismantled its equipment in Hirnyk because the front line is approaching the town. This is the first such case in the history of the radio.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by the russian army, Hromadske has lost its broadcasting in six cities of Luhansk and two cities of Donetsk oblasts.

Petro Andriushchenko, Mariupol Mayor’s Councilor, said that in the occupied part of Donetsk oblast, russians will build another railway line to reduce military logistics. The new railway will connect Volnovakha and Mariupol with russia’s Rostov, and construction is scheduled to begin in October 2024.

Luhansk oblast

Yesterday the fighting near Nevske almost never stopped. The russians attacked the village with artillery and drones. It is extremely dangerous to stay there. Currently, 17 people still live in this frontline settlement. The occupiers also attacked near Stelmakhivka and Makiivka. The latter was subjected to artillery shelling and 56 UAV drops.

Cultural institutions in seven other settlements in the so-called “lpr” are under threat of closure. Accordingly, the staff will be laid off. The network of such institutions, according to the invaders, is being “optimised” due to the lack of funds for repairs and the purchase of equipment. As an alternative, they offer clubs on wheels, seven of which are due to arrive from russia in September. However, these vehicles are also not equipped with anything, but their equipment will be provided at the expense of local budgets. Mass events using these mobile facilities will be held only with the permission of the FSB.

The occupiers have stepped up checks on the border between the so-called “lpr” and russia. The way to russia is becoming more difficult every time. They thoroughly inspect people’s belongings, documents, gadgets, and ask them several times about the purpose of the trip. If they have information that a person wants to go to the territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine, they detain them for 10 days for a more detailed check. They try to detain them by force. It should be reminded that the russians promised to cancel the checks for those leaving the territory of the “lPR” in autumn 2022.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

According to the State Forest Agency of Ukraine, due to military actions, forests in northern Ukraine continue to suffer from fires. Over the past two weeks, 47 forest fires caused by shelling have occurred: in Sumy oblast — 31 fires covering an area of 67.48 hectares, and in Chernihiv oblast — 16 fires covering an area of 56.91 hectares. Forestry workers are creating mineralized firebreaks to stop the spread of the fire and are responding promptly to extinguish it. However, there are significant areas located directly near the border, where access is almost impossible due to ongoing hostilities.

Kyiv oblast

Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration, reported that at night the enemy attacked Kyiv oblast with attack drones. Air defence forces were deployed, the targets downed, no casualties. There were no hits to critical and residential infrastructure. In one of the districts of the region, a forest floor fire started as a result of the falling debris of the downed targets. In addition, an outbuilding was damaged in one of the settlements. 

Kyiv City Military Administration informed that one of the maternity hospitals in the Sviatoshynskyi district of Kyiv was equipped with a 120kW solar power plant. More than 200 panels have been installed in the medical facility. From now on, in the case of a power outage, the medical facility will have its own uninterruptible power supply. The work to equip medical facilities with solar power plants is carried out as part of an international assistance project from the German Government.

Kyiv Regional Military Administration announced that the participants of the 2024 Paralympics from Kyiv oblast have returned from Paris. Liudmyla Danylina won a silver medal in the 1,500m race in the T20 class. Illia Yaremenko won a silver medal in the 50m freestyle, class S13. Another swimmer from Kyiv oblast, Oleksii Fedyna, a three-time champion and two-time silver and bronze medallist at the Paralympic Games in previous years, also returned from the Paralympic Games.

Zhytomyr oblast

On 10 September, Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration hosted a training for specialists from critical and social infrastructure facilities who will be responsible for setting up and correctly launching the energy saving systems that the region received at the end of July this year. The participants learned about the technical characteristics of the product, the requirements for installing the system, troubleshooting possible malfunctions during connection, how to install the mobile application and connect to the system, etc.

Zhytomyr RMA also informed that 10 September, a meeting of the Barrier-Free Council was held under the chairmanship of Viktor Hradivskyi, Deputy Head of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration. The meeting was focused on discussing measures to create a barrier-free environment in Zhytomyr oblast, in particular in healthcare facilities and pharmacies.

Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration announced that on 9 September, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration and the Humanitarian Hub Zhytomyr CF. Vitalii Bunechko, Head of Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, and Daria Sivtseva, director of the Humanitarian Hub Zhytomyr, signed a document that provides our defenders with more reconnaissance drones and civilians with humanitarian aid.

Sumy oblast

The Regional Military Administration informed that during the night, the enemy attacked critical infrastructure in Sumy oblast using Shahed-type UAVs. Thanks to the professional work of the oblast’s air defence forces, three enemy drones were destroyed.

During night and morning, 10 September, russians carried out 11 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 25 explosions. The attacks targeted Bilopillia, Khotin, Nova Slobidka, Hlukhiv, Esman, Okhtyrka, Velyka Pysarivka communities. Six communities were attacked with guided aerial bombs. An FPV drone strike was carried out on Nova Slobidka community.

The North Operational Command reported that, as a result of russian strikes on 9 September in Sumy oblast, two educational institutions were damaged—in Rudneve and Nova Sloboda in Konotop region. In Velyka Chernechchyna, a person was injured, and a critical infrastructure facility was damaged due to a strike by a guided aerial bomb. 

According to the Regional Military Administration, during the previous day, 9 September, russian forces carried out 48 attacks on Sumy oblast. A total of 116 explosions were recorded, and 12 border communities came under fire.

The enemy dropped guided aerial bombs on the territory of Khotin (1 explosion), Yunakivka (2 explosions), Nova Slobidka (2 explosions), Yampil (2 explosions), Putyvl (2 explosions), Esman (4 explosions) and Krasnopillia (1 explosion) communities.

Esman community was also shelled by mortars (8 explosions) and struck by an FPV drone (2 explosions). Krasnopillia community was hit by artillery fire (6 explosions) and explosive devices were dropped from UAVs (3 explosions). Nova Slobidka community was attacked by an FPV drone (2 explosions).

As a result of an airstrike (1 explosion) on Sumy community, one person was injured.

Bilopillia community was shelled by mortars (4 explosions). 

In Druzhbivka community, russian forces struck by an FPV drone (1 explosion), followed by mortar fire (3 explosions) and artillery shelling (6 explosions).

Velyka Pysarivka community suffered from an FPV drone attack (16 explosions), artillery shelling (24 explosions), grenade launcher fire (6 explosions), and UAV-dropped explosive devices (8 explosions).

Seredyna-Buda community was struck by FPV drones (2 explosions) and mortar fire (4 explosions). 

According to Sumy police, on 9 September, police evacuated 11 residents, including two children, from the border Vorozhba community. The enemy strikes on Sumy oblast continue, targeting both infrastructure and civilians.

Sumy Regional Military Administration announced a mandatory evacuation  for three settlements in Shostka region: Hlukhiv, Svesa and Esman. The evacuation will be conducted in two phases. Evacuees from these towns will be relocated to Romny region. According to Shostka RMA, as of 7 September, 242 people, including 50 children, have been evacuated. According to Sumy RMA, additionally, 23 children and their legal guardians were evacuated from Hlukhiv during 6-7 September.

Chernihiv oblast

The State Border Guard Service informed that russian forces shelled Semenivka and attacked by different types of weapons 11 villages across three border communities in Chernihiv oblast — Semenivka, Novhorod-Siversk, and Snovsk — over the past day. A total of 87 explosions were recorded. The enemy used guided bombs, barrel and rocket artillery, mortars, FPV drones, and dropped incendiary mixtures and explosive devices from UAVs.

Serhii Dedenko, Semenivka City Mayor, reported that as a result of the shelling of Leonivka, Semenivka community on 9 September, 15 residential buildings caught fire. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. According to the North Operational Command, russian forces attacked Leonivka with guided bombs and dropped explosives from UAVs.

According to Chernihivoblenerho JSC, as of the morning of 10 September, 13 villages in the border Semenivka community have been left without power due to russian shelling. There are 604 subscribers without electricity. Three overhead power lines were disconnected, with one partially restored. Repairs to the other lines will begin when the security situation allows.

Oleksandr Lomako, Chernihiv Acting Mayor, reported that Chernihiv City Council has conducted tenders for purchasing military equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine totaling UAH 16m, with additional procurement of electronic warfare equipment for UAH 4m in progress. This equipment is planned to be delivered to the military by the end of 2024. According to the Mayor, priority will be given to requests for generators and other equipment needed for combat tasks during the autumn-winter period.

Andrii Portnyi, community head, informed that at Sosnytsia hospital, the solar power station has saved UAH 22,000 on electricity in one month. Now, during power outages, the hospital can use the saved solar energy. The solar station was installed with a grant from the German Society for International Cooperation. The community plans to install another solar power station and, in case of blackouts, has 80 generators obtained through grants or donated by sponsors.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

The enemy continued to attack Nikopol region. Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities were targeted. A fire broke out and an outbuilding was damaged. According to updated information, as a result of the attacks on 9 September, fire destroyed an outbuilding in Marhanets community and damaged a private house.

Air defence forces were successfully deployed in the oblast. The defenders of the sky destroyed 3 enemy Shaheds.

During the day, the occupiers attacked Nikopol region more than two dozen times. They used artillery and drones. They targeted Nikopol, Pokrovsk, Myrove and Marhanets communities. A kindergarten, 6 private and 2 garden houses, a utility company were affected, cars destroyed and damaged, outbuildings and an administrative building was hit.

Vinnytsia oblast

​​ In Vinnytsia oblast, serviceman Dmytro R. Prysiazhniuk was awarded the honorary badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Golden Cross.

Kirovohrad oblast

Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, reported that air defence systems were operating in Kirovohrad oblast at night. No casualties or damage were reported. 

Tetiana Budko, public and media relations specialist at the Central Forestry Office, informed that since the beginning of 2024, eight forest fires occurred in Kirovohrad oblast as a result of russian shelling on an area of 158.17 hectares. This is the highest figure in Ukraine.

Defenders from Kirovohrad oblast were killed in the war with russia. Their names are Yurii Bakchela, Yaroslav Stepaniuk, Mykhailo Padetskyi and Mykola Sakanovskyi.

Yurii Bakchela was killed on 28 August near the village of Cherkaska Konopelka in Kursk region of russia.

Yaroslav Stepaniuk was killed on 4 September this year near the town of Toretsk, Bakhmut region, Donetsk oblast. He was 31 years old.

Mykhailo Padetskyi was killed on 5 September while performing a combat mission near Terny village, Kramatorsk region. 

Mykola Sakanovskyi was killed on 5 September near Kalynivka village, Bakhmut region, Donetsk oblast.

Poltava oblast

Two soldiers from Poltava oblast, who defended Ukraine from the russian invasion, were killed in action. 

Serhii Marchenko from Hrebinky community was a grenade launcher assistant shooter, and Vitalii Kaplun from Kremenchuk was a radio relay station operator.

Poltava mourned a man killed in a rocket attack on 3 September. Viacheslav Kuts was a training communications platoon cadet and held the rank of soldier.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, reported that 14 russian UAVs were destroyed in Cherkasy oblast. There were several hits, as well as consequences due to falling debris. In particular, two people were injured in Cherkasy, several houses and private businesses damaged. A dry vegetation fire broke out. An infrastructure facility damaged in Uman oblast. A forest fire broke out in Cherkasy oblast due to falling debris.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

According to the South Operational Command, on 9 September, Ukrainian forces in the south eliminated 80 occupiers and destroyed 43 units of russian weapons and military equipment. They also struck 16 bunkers.

Zaporizhzhia oblast

As reported by Berdiansk Border Detachment, on 10 September, border guards neutralised 16 russian FPV drones in Zaporizhzhia oblast. 

Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, reported that on 9 September, the russian military carried out 314 strikes on 15 cities and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Mykolaiv oblast

According to the South Operational Command, during the night of 10 September, air defence forces destroyed 4 Shahed 131/136 drones over Mykolaiv. 

On 9 September, the russian military attacked Mykolaiv by Shahed drones, FPV drones and artillery. As a result of artillery shelling in Ochakiv community, a car was damaged. Also, Kutsurub community came under attacked.

Odesa oblast

According to the Southern Air Command, on the night of 10 September, the russian military launched an air-launched guided Kh-31 missile towards Zmiinyi Island in Odesa oblast.

Kherson oblast

The RMA reported that around 11am on 10 September, russian forces attacked a bus stop in Kherson by a drone. A 65-year-old man was seriously injured and hospitalised.  

In the morning, russian forces dropped explosives from a drone on Poniativka. A 61-year-old woman was injured.  

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, said that the russian military shelled Shumenskyi district of Kherson during the night, hitting a kindergarten and a parking lot, but no injuries were reported.  

Roman Mrochko, Head of CMA, reported that a 25-year-old man was injured during shelling in Korabelnyi district of Kherson.  

russian forces dropped explosives from a drone on Antonivka in the suburbs of Kherson. A 55-year-old man, who was in his car, was injured and hospitalised.  

According to the RMA, around 5pm, the russian military shelled Stanislav in Kherson oblast, injuring a man and a woman. Both were diagnosed with concussions and blast injuries.  

Around 5:30pm, russian forces attacked a resident of Kherson by a drone. A 30-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds to his arm and was hospitalised, the RMA reported.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, said that volunteers from Save Ukraine organisation brought 2 girls, aged 14 and 16, from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson oblast back to Ukrainian-controlled territory. The children are safe and are being cared for by doctors and psychologists.  

As a result of a 4ussian attack on 9 September, a medical facility, a kindergarten, 24 private houses and an apartment building were damaged. 19 settlements in Kherson oblast were shelled, leaving 5 people injured.

Volyn oblast

Lutsk community sent 2 Mitsubisi L200, trailer A9-8521, 2 Quertus AD COUNTER FPV, DJI Matrice 350 RTK, 3 DJI Mavic 3 FMC, 7 DJI Mavic 3 PRO, 11 DJI Mavic 3T, 45 FPV drones, 3 EcoFlow, Alientech DUO II, 2 inverter gasoline generator and 5 socket wrenches to the military thanks to the budget funds.

Zakarpattia oblast

The Regional Council reported that 1,794 children from 46 communities of Zakarpattia oblast have been rehabilitated this summer in the Kosyno water park. This opportunity was given to children whose parents were killed during the war, were seriously injured or went missing.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA held a meeting with Yoshihiko Okabe, Professor of Ukrainian studies of Kobe Gakuin University, Head of the support committee for Ukraine based on the philosophy of creative reconstruction of Hyogo prefecture (Japan). They discussed joint steps of cooperation within the framework of the signed Memorandum of Understanding with Hyogo Prefecture. In the future, the possibility of exchanging students and establishing cooperation in the cultural sphere is being considered.

Lviv oblast

Defenders of the National Guard and the 104th Separate Territorial Defense Brigade received cars, medical purposes, benefactors donated medicines, hemostatic drugs, tourniquets and much more from Czech partners.

Over UAH 60,000 were collected for the needs of the Armed Forces in Skhidnytsia community. The Support to the Defender charity event was held in the village of Storona, Drohobych region. In total, several dozen local residents and people from the entire neighbourhood joined him. All funds will be donated to local military personnel.

For the successful performance of combat tasks, courage, heroism, exceptional bravery and loyalty to the military oath, soldiers of the 24th Separate Mechanised Brigade named after King Danylo were awarded with brigade and state orders and decorations. Soldiers were personally awarded by Colonel Serhii Mazorchuk, Commander of the 24th brigade.

The regional project Together took place within the framework of the regional program Youth of Lviv Oblast and the ecosystem of sports opportunities for veterans of the Invincible League. In total, almost 80 participants joined the 2-day event.

Rivne oblast

42 centres for studying the Defense of Ukraine subject will appear in Rivne oblast. For this, the oblast received almost UAH 84m from the state budget. The task of this subject is not only to give students new knowledge and skills, but also to form their conscious attitude to war

Ternopil oblast

The RMA held a meeting with heads of structural subdivisions and responsible institutions regarding the livelihood of IDPs living in the oblast. They discussed the level of social protection, medical care, provision of places for temporary residence and employment of IDPs.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi community sent 200 7-inch FPV drones worth over UAH 2.1m thanks to the budget funds.

Chernivtsi oblast

The RMA held a meeting with representatives of Chernivtsi Regional Territorial Center for Staffing and Social Policy, military formations, and law enforcement agencies. They discussed protecting the rights of military servicemen’s families and the problems they face.

The RMA reported that soldiers of the 8th Separate Mountain Assault battalion of the Military Unit A3029 received To the Glory of Bukovyna medals of honour. 

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The Swedish government announced the 17th package of military aid worth SEK 4.6bn. The package included 6 combat boats Combat Boat 90, MANPADS Robot System 70, camouflage equipment for previously transferred equipment, a number of armour-piercing and small-calibre projectiles, recoilless rifles and anti-tank mines, grenade launchers with shots, protective equipment, helmets and winter uniform.

Panama signed the communique of the Peace Summit in Switzerland. To date, 94 states have joined the communiqué.

Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, met with Katsura Kitagawa, Director General of the European Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, during his 1st visit to Ukraine. They discussed preparation for the 2nd Peace Summit and the implementation of the bilateral security agreement

The European Union called reliable information about the transfer of ballistic missiles by Iran to the russian federation. Peter Stano, EU spokesman, said that the EU will respond quickly, including with new and significant restrictive measures against Iran.
