The situation on the front remains tense. The Defense Forces continue to resolutely counter the enemy’s attempts to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, focusing on disrupting the occupiers’ offensive plans.
Currently, the number of combat engagements has risen to 99, with the most intense action occurring in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhivka directions. The occupiers continue using aviation and artillery on the border regions of Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts. The areas around Volfyne, Zarichchia, Yanzhulivka, Rohizne, Bachivsk, Leonivka, Zhuravka, Pavlivka, Bilovody, Krasnyi Khutir, Basivka, Chuikivka, Mykolaivka, and Liskivshchyna are under artillery fire, while the enemy launched MLRS attacks on Iskrivshchyna.
According to available information, enemy aircraft dropped seven guided bombs on the territory of Kursk Oblast. In the Kharkiv direction, Russian terrorists stormed our positions near Starytsia, and all enemy attacks were repelled.
The enemy attacked our positions six times in the Kupiansk direction near the settlements of Kucheryvka, Petropavlivka, and Kruhliakivka, facing strong resistance. In the Lyman direction, the enemy is attempting to advance near Druzheliubivka, Hrekivka, Torske, and Terny. Since the start of the day, there have been seven clashes in this area, with two still ongoing.
Two engagements are underway in the Siversk direction near Bilohorivka, where our defenders have already repelled one enemy attack. In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders conducted one assault near Klishchiivka, actively using aviation to bomb the areas of Minkivka and Pryvillia.
In the Toretsk direction, enemy attacks increased to four, targeting Toretsk, Dyliivka, and Shcherbynivka, where our defenders repelled two attacks, with two engagements still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the aggressor conducted 24 attacks during the day near Myroliubivka, Promin, Hryhorivka, Selydove, and Novooleksiivka. The Defense Forces held their ground and repelled 19 enemy attacks, with five engagements still underway.
Tension also persists in the Kurakhivka direction, where the enemy launched 39 attacks on our units since the beginning of the day, attempting to advance near Illinka, Kreminna Balka, Novoselydivka, Novodmytrivka, Maksymilianivka, Antonivka, and Katerynivka, and conducting an airstrike on Dachne. Currently, battles are ongoing at 21 locations.
In the Vremivka direction, our troops repelled two attacks near Trudove and Maksymivka. Four engagements continue near Trudove.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders are repelling an enemy assault towards Novoandriivka. The enemy also used bomber aircraft to strike Mala Tokmachka, Omelnyk, and Vilnianka, dropping eight guided bombs and hitting Kamianske with unguided air missiles.
In the Prydniprovske direction, two enemy attacks were unsuccessful.
In other frontline directions, there have been no significant changes.
Russia aims to push Defense Forces out of the Kursk region, concentrating 45,000 military personnel there. Since Russia lacks sufficient forces in this direction, they are attempting to recruit military personnel from North Korea (DPRK) to support operations in Kursk Oblast. Russian forces planned to seize more territory in the northern Sumy region to establish a “buffer zone” for a subsequent offensive toward Kharkiv. As of November 5, 2024, the enemy’s losses in the Kursk direction amount to 20,842 personnel, including 7,905 killed, 12,220 wounded, and 717 taken prisoner, as reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces executed six captured Ukrainian servicemen. According to operational data, on October 23, 2024, during an offensive on the city of Selydove, Russian forces took three Ukrainian soldiers captive. The occupiers then shot these unarmed prisoners of war. On November 1, during an assault on Ukrainian defenses in the same Pokrovsk direction, Russian forces killed three more prisoners with automatic weapons. The investigation is being conducted by the Security Service of Ukraine in Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
At 4:35 p.m., the russian military struck a field near the village of Udy with three guided air bombs, and another one near Kostyantynivka, said the head of the Zolochiv community, Viktor Kovalenko. Information about the victims and destruction was not received.
Defense forces repelled all assaults by russians in the Kharkiv direction since the beginning of the day, the invaders attacked in the Staritsa area, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
Near Kucherivka, Petropavlivka and Kruglyakivka in the Kupyansk direction, the Ukrainian military also repelled all six assaults of the russian army. In the Lyman direction, seven clashes occurred today, two of which as of 4:00 p.m. The Russians are trying to advance, in particular, near Druzhelyubivka.
During the past day, the occupiers used 6 guided aerial bombs, 1 Iskander ballistic missile, one each of Shahed, Geran-2, and FPV UAVs against unarmed residents of Kharkiv region.
At 16:53, the russians attacked the city of Kharkiv. As a result of the UAV strike, 2 passenger cars, window glazing in 2 apartment buildings, a car shop, a furniture shop and an educational institution were damaged. Two women aged 56 and 72 were injured.
At 15:48, the russians attacked the city of Kupyansk. As a result of the FPV drone attack, 1 car was damaged.
At 09:49 russians attacked Izyum district, Izyum TG, village. Capitol building. Hitting the territory of a civilian enterprise. As a result of the shelling, one warehouse building and one private house were damaged. Three men aged 40, 47 and 60 were injured.
At 08:40, the russians attacked Kupyansky district, Kurylivska TG, village. Hlushkivka, the territory of the tractor brigade. A 48-year-old man and a woman were killed as a result of the shelling from the MLRS.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy unsuccessfully tried eight times to penetrate the defenses of our defenders near Vovchansk.
There were eight attacks by the occupiers in the Kupyansk direction during the day. The defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Zagryzovy, Sinkivka, and Kruglyakivka. The enemy actively used aviation in this direction.
During the day, 153 people were evacuated from the Kupyanskyi and Borivskyi directions. Evacuation of civilians from unsafe communities continues. A total of 8,000 residents of settlements in the Kupyan direction are subject to evacuation. More than 4,200 people have to be evacuated directly from the Kupyansk community: 2,700 residents of the city of Kupyansk and almost 1,500 residents of the villages of the territory. The priority is to evacuate 1,258 locals from the left bank, where hostilities are currently taking place. 72 residents of 17 settlements of the Boriv community are also subject to evacuation.
Seven out of 119 children remain in Borova, Oleksandr Tertyshnyi, the head of the Borov settlement military administration. According to him, these are children aged from 0 to 18 years.
Since the beginning of the month alone, the enemy has struck Kharkiv and the region with more than 80 anti-aircraft missile strikes. The situation remains difficult.

In settlements where there is no centralized heat supply, residents were provided with fuel materials or financial aid to get through the heating season.
Almost 4,000 candidates for service in the Defense Forces applied to recruiting centers in Kharkiv in six months, said Oleg Shchyrskyi, deputy head of the recruiting and staffing department of the Kharkiv Regional TCC and JV. According to him, most often in Kharkiv Oblast, candidates for service choose the profession of UAV operators.
Donetsk oblast
Over 80 russian attacks were repulsed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine last day in the Kurakhiv and Pokrovsky directions, the General Staff said.
In the Pokrovsky direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped 23 assaults in the direction of Promin, Lysivka, Novogrodivka, Krutiy Yar, Selidove, and Grodivka settlements.
In the Kurakhiv direction, the Defense Forces repelled 56 attacks. The occupiers most actively tried to advance in the areas of Vovchenka, Stepanivka, Illinka, Berezka, Kreminnaya Balka, Katerynivka, Novoselidivka, Novodmytrivka, Gostrogo, Maksimilianivka, Antonivka, and Elizavetivka.
Law enforcement officers identified six Ukrainian servicemen shot by the russians who were in the Pokrovsky direction. These cases took place on October 23 in Selydovo and November 1 in Vyshnevo, – reported the head of the Department of Combating Crimes Committed in Conditions of Armed Conflict, Office of the Prosecutor General, Denys Lysenko.
The russian FPV drone hit the road surface near the village of Shevchenko of the Pokrovsk community around 7:00 p.m. on November 5, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported. Cars and people were not injured.
During the day, the police recorded 2,835 enemy strikes on the front line and the residential sector. The cities of Kostyantynivka and Toretsk, the village of Shevchenko, were shelled. 8 civilian objects were damaged.
Russia dropped three FAB-250 aerial bombs with a UMPK module on Kostyantynivka – an infrastructure object, an economic building, 5 civilian cars, and the power grid were damaged.
In addition, information was received about a previously deceased civilian in the village of Illinka, who was killed during russian shelling on November 4.

Bakhmut district. 2 houses were damaged in Siversk. In the Chasovoyarsk community, 5 private houses, 2 high-rise buildings and an industrial building were damaged.
In just one day, the russians shelled the populated areas of Donetsk region 7 times. 187 people, including 20 children, were evacuated from the front line.
Luhansk oblast
The enemy was active again on the Lyman section of the front, but all attempts by the russians to advance were stopped by our defenders. In particular, near Makiivka, Tverdokhlibovo and Grekivka. The enemy also tried to storm Bilogorivka. The occupiers increased the use of barrel artillery, hitting Makiivka 12 times and Balka Zhuravka six more times. They aimed at Makiivka from the rocket salvo system. Seven invader drones carried out drops near these two villages. An airstrike was carried out on Tverdokhlibovo.
On the territory of the Rovenkiv community captured in 2014, mine water came to the surface, the Luhansk OVA reported. Private houses have already been flooded in Mykhailivka village. The industrial sites of three coal-mining enterprises are located near the settlement – mines “Rovenkivska”, “71-sha”, “Luhanska”. Until a certain time, they were engaged in pumping out mine waters to prevent poisoning of the surrounding soil. After the liquidation of these mines by the Russians, water pumping also stopped. An ecological disaster is approaching in the community and district.
Next year, the russians will leave Luhansk Autodor without large orders and, accordingly, without additional funds, said the head of Luhansk OVA, Artem Lysogor. Because contracts with this company are concluded only for the maintenance of highways. Repairs, in particular, and capital ones, will be carried out by contractors from Russia. Currently, five enterprises from the regions of the russian federation have already been selected, which will be involved in the work in the so-called “LNR”. The occupiers do not need foreigners. The quality will also be appropriate.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
The regional military administration reported that at night, the enemy once again attacked Kyiv oblast with a UAV. The alert was raised three times. There were no hits to critical and residential infrastructure. There were no casualties among the population. In one of the districts, a forest floor fire started as a result of falling debris.
the director of the medical institution and cardiac surgeon Ilya Yemets announced that The Centre for Paediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery plans to resume heart surgery in its renovated building in Kyiv by the summer of 2025.
The building of the cardiac centre, which is located on the territory of Okhmatdyt, was damaged during the missile attack on the capital in July. A team from the Ukrainian Red Cross, together with the International Red Cross Movement, is working to restore the facility. Every year, the Centre provides more than 20,000 consultations for children and performs more than 1,000 operations on children’s hearts.
South Korea will help repair the building of a vocational lyceum in Kyiv Oblast that was destroyed by the russians in 2022. According to the RMA, the relevant protocol was signed with the director of the Korea International Cooperation Agency in Ukraine, Taekyung Lee. The reconstruction will be funded by the South Korean government, with a total of USD 14.9 million.
Relatives of the Mariupol garrison held a peaceful rally near the Verkhovna Rada. It was joined by relatives of soldiers who went missing or were captured in other areas. The participants of the event want to draw attention to the Ukrainian military, who have been in captivity for 30 months.
The city council reported that a support unit for war veterans and demobilised soldiers is starting to work in the Fastiv community. The department will operate at the city’s territorial centre. The department will be headed by veteran Ihor Halaburda, who stood up to defend Ukraine at the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The facility will employ 20 specialists to help with social and psychological adaptation.
Boryspil plans to purchase drone flight simulators for schoolchildren in the Defence of Ukraine classroom. The purchase is performed according to the request of Department of Education and Science of Boryspil City Council. The company plans to purchase drone control simulators with flight demonstration kits.
Zhytomyr oblast
The city’s Department of Budget and Finance reported that in 2024, more than UAH 351 million was allocated from the Zhytomyr budget to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In total, almost half a billion hryvnias were allocated from the community budget to overcome the consequences of russia’s armed aggression.
In Zhytomyr, 55 families have been identified to receive housing in modular houses for internally displaced persons. The construction of 56 modular houses in Veresy village was foreseen in the Memorandum of Partnership signed with the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. The Zhytomyr City Council allocated a plot of land, installed water and electricity supply networks, sewerage, outdoor lighting, foundations for the modular houses and landscaping. The Ukrainian Red Cross Society fully funded the installation of the houses and their full equipment.
Approximately 40 paintings were presented on 5 November at the exhibition and sale of paintings ‘Beyond Gravity’ at the House of Ukrainian Culture in Zhytomyr. The paintings were created by servicemen who have been treated or are currently in a military hospital. An auction will be held during the exhibition, and the proceeds will be used for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The exhibition and sale will last until the end of November.
Sumy oblast
Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that On the evening of 5 November, russian forces shelled civilian infrastructure in Shalyhyne community, Shostka region, using mortar fire, employing methods prohibited by international law. A 66-year-old man was injured on his property due to the attack and has been hospitalised.
During night and morning, russians carried out 6 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 6 explosions. The attacks targeted Yunakivka and Hlukhiv communities.
During the day, on 5 November, russians carried out 57 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 208 explosions. The attacks targeted Khotin, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Slobidka, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, and Druzhbivka communities.
Seredyna-Buda community: the russians dropped 5 mines on the territory of the community. There were also shelling by MLRS (51 explosions), an FPV-drone attack (3 explosions), artillery fire (9 explosions).
Bilopillia community: explosive devices were dropped from UAVs (6 explosions), mortar shelling (25 explosions), artillery shelling (6 explosions), FPV-drone strikes (2 explosions), tank shelling (15 explosions).
Krasnopillia community: the enemy fired mortars (25 explosions), launched a missile strike with unguided rockets (2 explosions), an FPV-drone strike (1 explosion).
Druzhbivka community: FPV-drone attack (2 explosions).
Esman community: russians dropped 15 mines on the territory of the community. There were also strikes by FPV-drones (4 explosions).

The “White Angels” of Sumy oblast evacuated a local resident and her daughter from Vorozhba, located less than 10 kilometres from the russian border.
Chernihiv oblast
Oleksandr Kodola, Mayor of Nizhyn, reported that on the evening of 6 November, russian forces launched a missile strike on Nizhyn. A non-residential building was damaged in the attack.
Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, Head of Chernihiv Military Administration, informed that on 6 November, an explosion from a russian cruise missile was reported on the outskirts of Chernihiv. Two people were injured in the blast; one is in critical condition, while the other has moderate injuries.
Throughout the day, the russian army attacked six border communities in Chernihiv oblast. The enemy used dropped UAVs, FPV-drones, barrel artillery, and mortars. In total, 31 explosions were reported.
Novhorod-Siverskyi community:
– 3 explosions (hits, probably by barrel artillery) in Mikhalchyna-Sloboda village;
– 2 explosions (hits, probably by FPV-drones) towards Buchky village;
– 1 explosion (hit, probably by FPV-drone) near Krasniy Khutir village.
Semenivska community:
– 3 explosions (hits, probably by a 120mm mortar) towards Leonivka village;
– 1 explosion (hit, probably by 122mm barrel artillery) and four explosions (hits, probably by FPV-drones) near Mkhy village;
– 1 explosion (hit, launch from an unmanned aerial vehicle)towards Karpovychi village.
No casualties or injuries among the local population were reported as a result of the shelling.
Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service informed that German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock visited Yahidne village in Chernihiv oblast, where she called on international partners to increase their support for Ukraine while at the memorial for victims of russian atrocities. Baerbock arrived in Ukraine on 4 November for her eighth solidarity visit since the full-scale invasion began. She announced an additional €200 million in aid from Germany to help Ukraine during the coming winter.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Late in the evening, the occupiers shelled Nikopol region with MLRS, targeting the Marhanets community. There were no casualties.
During the day,on 6 November, the occupiers attacked Nikopol region several times. They used artillery and kamikaze drones. They targeted the region centre, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities. Three private houses and infrastructure were damaged. There were no casualties.
Vinnytsia oblast
It became known that six defenders from Vinnytsia oblast were killed. In particular, Vitaliy Ryaboshapka, Maksym Slobodianiuk, Hryhoriy Ivanenko, Taras Bilmak, Valentyn Vozniuk and Ihor Lantukh.
Kirovohrad oblast
Andrii Raikovych, Head of Kirovohrad RMA, reported that in the Kirovohrad oblast, defenders of the sky destroyed an enemy drone. No consequences were recorded.
On 23 October 2024, soldier Andrii Hryhoriev from the Svitlovodsk community was killed in the battle for Ukraine. During a combat mission in the Kursk oblast of russia.
Poltava oblast
Bohdan Sokol, a soldier from Poltava oblast, was killed while defending Ukraine from the russian army in Donetsk oblast. Bohdan was 39 years old.
By the end of 2024, Poltava plans to open an alley with portraits of the hromada’s fallen soldiers. The stands with photographs and biographies of the fallen defenders are being implemented as part of the Poltava Remembers Heroes project, for which more than UAH 3.5 million was allocated.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported that four Shaheds were shot down in Cherkasy oblast.
Residents of the Chornobaivka community in Cherkasy oblast sent the fallen Sergeant Yuriy Kabanenko to his last journey. He had been missing for two years. The soldier was killed during a battle in Donetsk oblast.
Memorial plaques will be installed in Kaniv and Mezhyrich in honour of police captain Ruslan Slipets, who died in the war. He was killed during a russian shelling towards Donetsk.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
On the morning of 5 November, russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia, striking an infrastructure facility. The attack resulted in a fire at the impact site, with eight fatalities and 25 injuries reported.
Yesterday, the occupiers launched 301 strikes across 13 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces carried out eight airstrikes on Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Novodarivka, Bilohiria, Mala Tokmachka, and Temyrivka. 154 UAVs of various types targeted Lobkove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, and Olhivske. Four MLRS strikes hit Lobkove and Novodanylivka, while artillery shelling occurred 134 times, affecting Lobkove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, and Olhivske. There were eight reports of damage to residential and infrastructure facilities.
It is reported that Ukrainian defenders are repelling russian assaults towards Novoandriivka. Additionally, the enemy used bomber aircraft to attack Mala Tokmachka, Omelnyk, and Vilnianka, dropping eight guided bombs. They also launched an attack with unguided bombs on Kamianske.
Mykolaiv oblast
In the early hours of 6 November, russian forces attacked Mykolaiv oblast using “Shahed” drones and unidentified UAVs launched from Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Orel in russia, as well as from Chauda in Crimea. The assault targeted energy infrastructure, resulting in power outages for some consumers. Energy workers restored power to most affected areas, and repair efforts are ongoing. No casualties were reported, and air defense units in Mykolaiv oblast successfully destroyed seven “Shahed 131/136” drones.
On 5 November, the enemy made three attacks using FPV drone attacks and shelled Kutsurub community with artillery. Two vehicles were damaged in the village of Solonchaky, while a storage structure sustained damage in Dmytrivka.
Additionally, the enemy shelled the city of Ochakiv. A 13-year-old girl and a 39-year-old woman were injured. As of the morning, their condition is stable. The shelling also caused a fire in a residential building, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters.
Odesa oblast
In the early hours of 6 November the enemy launched an attack on Odesa ooblast using two guided missiles, the Kh-59 and Kh-31P, from the Black Sea.
As of 6 a.m. on 6 November, one carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total capacity of up to four missiles was present in the Black Sea, while another, with up to eight missiles, was located in the Mediterranean Sea.
Over the past day, eight ships passed through the Kerch Strait towards the Black Sea, with one ship entering the Sea of Azov in the interest of russian federation.
The Serhiivka Lyceum, which suffered significant damage during a missile attack in summer 2022, has been fully restored. The reconstruction included replacing the roof, windows, and doors, completing interior finishes, and refurbishing the third floor. The facade was repaired, and environmentally friendly-lighting was installed. Additionally, the school received new desks, chairs, blackboards, and bookshelves. This project was part of “EU4UASchools: Build Back Better,” a joint initiative by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine and the European Union (EU), focusing on safety, inclusivity, environmental sustainability, and energy efficiency standards.
Kherson oblast
Today, around 11:00, the occupiers struck a residential area in Zelenivka, injuring two people who were diagnosed with blast injuries and concussions. A 68-year-old man in critical condition was taken to the hospital after suffering blast trauma, as well as injuries to his eye, shoulder, and leg from a drone strike on Kherson. Additionally, at approximately 11:20, the russians shelled Antonivka, leaving a 55-year-old man with blast injuries and a concussion.
Overnight, occupying forces attacked a hospital in Bilozerka, shattering windows in one building and damaging the kitchen and several offices. russian forces also shelled Zelenivka, destroying a residential building and injuring two women.
Yesterday, the enemy attacked Kherson, Prydniprovske, Antonivka, Sadove, Bilozerka, Zelenivka, Veletenske, Naddniprianske, Chornobaivka, Stanislav, Beryslav, Chervonyi Maiak, and Osokorivka, damaging 28 structures, including apartment buildings, 21 private homes, a bank, a vehicle, and three outbuildings. Five people were injured due to russian aggression.
A man wounded in an October attack on Kherson sought medical attention, suffering from blast trauma and a concussion. He has been hospitalized.
It is reported that the enemy launched three unsuccessful assault attempts on the Prydniprovskyi front to gain a foothold in the island area but withdrew with losses. Over the past day, enemy losses totaled 60 personnel and 43 units of weapons and equipment. Additionally, two observation posts, two ammunition storage sites, a UAV launch site, and 14 enemy bunkers were targeted.

Lutsk community sent 3 DJI Mavic 3T quadcopters to the Military Unit A 0284. 2 DJI Mavic 3 PRO quadcopters were sent to the Military Unit A 0281, 2 DJI Mavic 3 PRO quadcopters and a DJI Mavic 3T to the Military Unit A 7273.
Lutsk City Council reported that 30 residents of the community, whose property was damaged as a result of the armed aggression of the russian federation, will receive financial assistance for the restoration of apartments and residential buildings through repairs.
Zakarpattia oblast
Uzhhorod received 7 high-power generators (from 30 to 50 kW) worth EUR 94,140 to ensure the energy sustainability of the city from the Partnership Germany-Ukraine/Moldova public organisation headed by Jochen Partch, former mayor of Uzhhorod’s sister city of Darmstadt for many years.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Ivano-Frankivsk community sent 11 EWs and 25 FPV drones to the 4th Separate Tank Brigades thanks to the budget funds.
In Prykarpattia, veterans and their families received over UAH 31m in aid from the regional budget this year. In Ivano-Frankivsk oblast, there is a regional payment program for military personnel and their families. Since the beginning of the year, the Department of Veterans Affairs has received over 4,000 applications for cash assistance.
Lviv oblast
As a result of the combined attacks of russian terrorists using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), in October of this year, an air alert signal was announced 8 times in the territory of Lviv oblast. At the same time, the average duration of an air alert was 46 minutes. During air alerts, UAVs flew to the territory of the oblast on 20 and 25 October.
The Executive Committee of Lviv City Council approved the provision of compensation from the city budget for the restoration of 117 windows and 15 entrance doors in apartments that were hit by a russian missile strike on 4 September this year. The total amount of payments from the city budget for this will amount to over UAH 3.2m.
17 servicemen of the Western Operational-Territorial Unit of the National Guard of Ukraine were posthumously awarded III-degree For Courage orders. Relatives of defenders (parents, wives and children) were awarded.
Rivne oblast
Last week, the Integration Center NGO in partnership with World Central Kitchen organised the distribution of food aid. It was taken to places of temporary stay in Rivne oblast, where IDPs live. Thus, about 800 IDPs families received food kits. In total, during October, more than 1,100 food kits were issued for displaced citizens in 15 communities.
Ternopil oblast
6 defenders from Ternopil will receive one-time financial assistance in the amount of UAH 10,000 for treatment and rehabilitation. Since the beginning of the year, 231 military personnel have already received assistance.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi community sent 2 sets of aircraft-type UAVs worth UAH 4.5m to the military. In total, these are 20 UAVs together with launchers, control systems, antennas, etc.
Chernivtsi oblast
From the regional budget, UAH 425,000 were allocated in monetary aid to Bukovyna citizens who were released from military service due to their health and to family members of the fallen defenders. 22 people will receive help.

In Germany, the 4rth group of Ukrainian military personnel completed training on the Patriot air defence system. The German Air Force emphasises that after the training, the Ukrainian military will be able to independently work on the Patriot air defence system and use the complex to shoot down Russian aircraft, cruise missiles and drones.
