What happened in Ukraine today:
Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:
Since the start of the day, occupying forces have launched 62 assaults on our defenders’ positions, whilst russian artillery continues to pound the Ukrainian border relentlessly.
Today, in Sumy region oblast, areas around the settlements of Vilna Sloboda, Chervonyi Pakhar, Korenok and Viktorove were under enemy air strikes.
Two combat engagements took place towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, with one battle still ongoing. In the same areas, the enemy fired on our positions and civilian villages 50 times, including 8 times using multiple launch rocket systems.
Towards Southern Sloboda, the invaders attempted four times to break through the defences near Veterynarne, Starytsia and Prylipka. One battle is ongoing at this very moment.
Towards Kupiansk, the occupiers launched a single attack, attempting to dislodge our units near Kurylivka.
The aggressor was active towards Lyman, carrying out four assaults near Kopanok, Drobysheve, Lyman and Yampil.
Towards Sloviansk, Ukrainian soldiers successfully thwarted two attempts by the invaders to advance towards Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy did not carry out any offensive operations.
Towards Kostiantynivka, russian units launched seven attacks, attempting to advance near Ivanopillia, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar and towards Kucheriv Yar and Nove Shakhove.
The intensity of fighting remains traditionally high towards Pokrovsk, where the enemy made 25 attempts to dislodge our defenders from their positions in the areas of Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Udachne, and Horikove, and towards the settlements of Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Bilytske, and Serhiivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.
Towards Oleksandrivka, our defenders repelled one enemy attack in the vicinity of the settlement of Verbove.
Towards Huliaipole, 11 enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Rybne, Dobropillia, Olenokostiantynivka, Zaliznychne, Charivne and towards Kosivtsove, Rizvdianka and Tsvitkove. Two further combat engagements are ongoing.
Towards Orikhiv, the enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
Towards Kherson, the occupiers made two unsuccessful attempts to advance in the area of the Antonivskyi Bridge.
On the rest of the front, there have been no significant changes in the operational situation, and no attempts at enemy advances have been recorded.
Ukrainian defenders are wearing down the invaders’ forces both along the entire line of contact and in their rear.
Kateryna Hlazkova, Executive Director of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs, reported that up to 15% of those on furlough in the business sector could lose their furlough status due to new furlough rules. There are currently over 1.3m people on furlough in Ukraine. Under the updated booking rules, within three months, by 1 September, Ukraine must review the status of all businesses that already have critical status and the right to book employees.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
The chief sergeant of the 58th UAV Company of the 58th Mechanised Infantry Brigade, call sign “Viking”, reported that the russian military are marking what they claim to be the complete capture of Vovchansk on their maps, but the Defence Forces are holding their positions on the approaches and repelling attacks on settlements. According to him, the occupiers are attempting to advance from various locations in order to spread out Ukrainian units.
On the morning of 1 June, russian troops attacked Nemyshlianskyi district of Kharkiv, reportedly using Molniya-type UAVs. A 37-year-old petrol station employee was wounded and hospitalised. The petrol station, four cars and advertising billboards were damaged.
On the afternoon of 1 June, the russian army struck Merefa, reportedly with a missile. The attack damaged a private house and caused a fire in 50 sq m of pine needle litter.
In Zolochiv community, the russians shelled Ivashky at around 2am on 1 June. The artillery strike destroyed a single-storey two-flat house and damaged a two-storey house and outbuildings. No one was injured. As of 1 June, eight residents remain in the village.
During the night, the russians attacked Kharkiv with drones. Osnovianskyi, Slobidskyi and Kholodnohirskyi districts of the city were hit. Four women aged 34, 58, 65 and 76 were injured, suffering from acute stress reactions and cuts from broken glass. According to updated data from the city council, at least 36 buildings in four districts of Kharkiv have been damaged, and 233 windows have been shattered. Cars, garages, gas and electricity networks, and a traffic light have also been damaged.
Late in the evening of 31 May and during the night of 1 June, russian forces struck Bohodukhiv at least twice. As a result of the strike, reportedly by a Geran-2 type UAV, a private house caught fire, and a 39-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction. Two private houses and a farm building were damaged.
In Sulihivka, Oskil community, a 34-year-old man was injured as a result of a russian attack. According to police, he sought medical attention himself on 31 May; his condition is assessed as moderate.
A 44-year-old resident of Oskil died on the morning of 31 May as a result of russian MLRs attack.
In Postolne, Zolochiv community, on 31 May, Russian FPV drones injured a 55-year-old woman, whilst an 86-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that over the past 24 hours, 276 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. Towards Southern Sloboda, russian troops launched 12 assaults on Defence Forces positions in the areas of Lyman, Veterynarne, Kolodiazne, Synelnykove and Starytsia. Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks in the areas of Shyikivka and Kupiansk.
Donetsk oblast
Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian forces repelled 11 russian attacks towards Lyman. The invaders did not launch assaults on the border between Luhansk and Kharkiv oblasts, instead focusing their attacks around Lyman. Russian troops have also resumed assaults in the Kramatorsk sector. Towards Pokrovsk remains the most active, where the Defence Forces repelled 49 assaults and attacks.
Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office said that on 1 June, russian troops dropped three aerial bombs on Druzhkivka. FAB-250 bombs from a UMPK were aimed at apartment blocks. 5 people aged between 20 and 68 were injured, specifically four men and one woman.
In Kramatorsk, a russian FPV drone struck a service vehicle belonging to the Civil Protection Department, the city council reported. The vehicle bore the relevant insignia and markings, and civilian cars were parked nearby. According to preliminary reports, a man was injured.
Vadym Liakh, Head of the Military Administration, reported that in Sloviansk, a 13-year-old girl was injured as a result of a night-time strike by a Molniya UAV on a private house.
On 31 May, the police recorded 1,040 strikes by the Russian army along the front line and in the residential areas of Donetsk Oblast. Eight settlements came under fire: Bilozerske, Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, Sloviansk, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Dobropillia and Maiaky. 43 civilian structures were damaged, including 25 residential buildings.
Russian troops attacked Druzhkivka with three FPV drones. One civilian was killed and another was injured. An apartment block was damaged.
Sloviansk was attacked by six russian drones of various types. Two people were injured, including a boy born in 2018. Five private houses, a shopping pavilion, an express delivery service branch, a petrol station, an infrastructure facility, a bus and two civilian vehicles were damaged. In addition, the russians shelled the city again during the night and a girl born in 2012 was injured.
In Mykolaivka, one person was injured, and an apartment block and 16 private homes were damaged.
In Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, three people were injured and a civilian vehicle was damaged.
The occupiers directed four UAVs of various types towards Kramatorsk. An apartment block, an infrastructure facility and five civilian vehicles were damaged.
In Bilozerske, an apartment block was damaged.
Mykolaivka is gradually becoming a ghost town and due to its proximity to the front line, it is already impossible to drive into certain parts of the town. The White Angels police crew leaves their cars in a relatively safe place and walks around the basements of buildings where people in need of evacuation may be sheltering.
Luhansk oblast
Oleksii Kharchenko, Head of Luhansk Regional Military Administration, reported that over the past 24 hours, russian troops launched 11 assaults on the positions of the Defence Forces near seven settlements towards Lyman. In Luhansk oblast, the occupiers deployed five drones, fired artillery twice, and fired mortars and grenade launchers twice each.
Workers at Luhansk Foundry and Mechanical Plant have not received their wages since last year. Their last payment was made in December, and since then the arrears have risen to rub 24m. The occupying administration is failing to resolve the situation.
The fuel situation in the temporarily occupied Luhansk oblast is deteriorating. Due to the shutdown of most refineries, prices have risen by a further 10% over the last few days, and supply delays have begun. The occupiers are preparing to issue petrol only to employees of critical enterprises, whilst ordinary residents are advised to refrain from travelling.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Mayor Vitalii Klychko has announced that the restoration of buildings damaged by enemy attacks is ongoing in Kyiv. In total, 3,578 buildings in the capital have sustained damage of varying degrees since the start of the full-scale invasion. 71 of these were the most severely damaged. The city has already restored 30 of these buildings.
From 2022, all residents of the capital affected by shelling will receive UAH 10,000 in aid from the city. Those whose homes have been severely damaged will receive a one-off payment of UAH 40,000 from 2025, followed by UAH 20,000 per month to rent accommodation wherever is convenient for them.
Following the latest massive rocket and drone attack on Kyiv, which took place on 24 May, 489 affected residents applied for assistance. As a result of this shelling, 552 properties were damaged, including 41 private homes and 488 apartment blocks. Four of these apartment blocks were significantly damaged.
Zhytomyr oblast
The State Emergency Service reported on the evening of 31 May that in Zhytomyr oblast, a fire broke out in a warehouse belonging to one of the local businesses following yet another enemy attack. During the fire-fighting operation, water was pumped from a reservoir located approximately 500 metres away. The fire has been extinguished. Thirty-seven rescue workers and ten pieces of equipment were deployed at the scene. In addition, in one of the oblast’s settlements, windows in a residential property and the roof of a farm building were damaged. There were no casualties or injuries.
According to a report on the “Northern Border. State Border Guard Service” page on 1 May, border guards shot down a russian attack drone in Zhytomyr oblast. The enemy drone was detected and destroyed by servicemen of the 9th Border Guard Detachment named after the Sich Riflemen.
On 31 May 2026, servicemen of the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Polissya Brigade, stationed in Zhytomyr oblast, received awards for their service. The brigade’s press service reported that the awards ceremony was conducted by the brigade commander, Colonel Ruslan Maryshev.
In Korosten, on City Day, a Memorial Walkway was opened near the Taras Shevchenko Palace of Culture. The display stands feature photographs of 236 soldiers from the Korosten community who fell in the russian-Ukrainian war. Also on this day, an information panel was installed in the city in honour of local soldiers who are missing in action or held captive by russia.
Sumy oblast
On 1 June, russian forces attacked Konotop Central Regional Hospital by drones during the day. Artem Semenikhin, Mayor of Konotop, said that an ambulance driver sustained a concussion as a result of the strikes. According to him, the hospital has already reopened to visitors. Municipal services are working to restore the facility.
The Regional Military Administration reported that on 1 May, enemy UAVs struck vehicles in two communities in Konotop region. In Krolevetska community, russian drones attacked lorries at a petrol station. Two trucks caught fire. In Buryn community, an enemy drone hit a passenger car on the road. No people were injured in either case.
Serhii Kryvosheienko, Head of Sumy City Military Administration, informed that on the night of 1 June, a russian attack drone struck the grounds of a school in Kovpakivskyi district of Sumy. The school’s preschool unit and nearby buildings were damaged. More than 20 windows were shattered at the preschool educational institution. Around 60 more windows and balcony frames were damaged in four nearby buildings. A garage and the sales hall of a petrol station were also damaged.
According to Berezivka Village Council, on the evening of 31 May, the russian army attacked Slout village in Berezivka community by drones. Two women were injured as a result of the strikes. Seven houses were damaged, and three burned down completely. One drone hit the roof of a private house and did not explode.
As a result of enemy strikes in Sumy oblast, 10 people were injured by enemy shelling over the past day, according to Regional Military Administration as of the morning of 1 June 2026.
In Berezivka community, women aged 47 and 57 were injured as a result of an enemy UAV strike.
In Bilopollia community, men aged 22, 32, 40 and 49 were injured as a result of an enemy drone strike.
In Duboviazivka community, a 66-year-old woman was injured as a result of a UAV attack.
In Sumy community, women aged 24 and 36 were injured as a result of an enemy drone strike.
In Seredyna-Buda community, a 47-year-old man was injured after an enemy drone hit a vehicle. A 54-year-old man, who was injured on 30 May as a result of an enemy UAV strike in the community, sought medical assistance.
Over the past day, from the morning of 31 May to the morning of 1 June, russian troops carried out more than 90 attacks on 41 settlements in 21 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, MLRS, FPV drones, UAVs and guided aerial bombs. Over the past day, air alerts in the oblast lasted 20 hours and 1 minute.
Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:
▪️In Trostianets community, private residential houses, a civilian infrastructure facility and a vehicle were damaged;
▪️In Putyvl community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
▪️In Sumy community, civilian infrastructure facilities, educational institution premises, apartment blocks and non-residential premises were damaged;
▪️In Berezivka community, a civilian infrastructure facility, private residential houses and an outbuilding were damaged;
▪️In Duboviazivka community, a private residential house and an outbuilding were damaged;
▪️In Hlukhiv community, educational institution premises, an apartment block, private residential houses, non-residential premises, a vehicle and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
▪️In Bilopollia community, private residential houses, an apartment block and a vehicle were damaged;
▪️In Vorozhba community, a private residential house and a passenger car were damaged;
▪️In Krolevets community, a private residential house was damaged;
▪️In Shostka community, non-residential premises and residential houses were damaged;
▪️In Shalyhyne community, a private residential house was destroyed.
Chernihiv oblast
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said that in May, Defence Forces shot down 1,390 attack drones in the skies over Chernihiv oblast. More than 250 other drones were lost from radar or suppressed by electronic warfare systems. According to him, this is a record number of downed drones compared with previous months.
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported that on 31 May, border guards destroyed 11 Shaheds and three Herberas in Chernihiv oblast over the course of the day.
National Police in Chernihiv oblast and Regional Military Administration informed that on 1 June, russian forces attacked Moshchenka village in Horodnia community with an attack drone during the day. A 15-year-old boy was injured. He is in serious condition in a regional hospital. A fire broke out at the site of the strike, and a private house caught fire.
Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, Head of City Military Administration, said that in Chernihiv, two private houses in the north of the city caught fire on 1 June as a result of a russian UAV attack.
According to Chernihivoblenergo JSC, on the night of 1 June, russian forces struck an energy facility in Koriukivka region. Around 10,000 subscribers were left without electricity as a result of the attack. Energy workers are restoring power supply.
The City Council reported that in Chernihiv, a drone strike was recorded overnight on 1 June on an area where vehicles were located. The information is being clarified.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, informed that on the night of 31 May, the facade and windows of a five-storey apartment block in Semenivka were damaged by an enemy FPV drone strike.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Regional Military Administration, said that late in the evening of 31 May, russian forces struck a house of culture in a village of Snovsk community by a Heran drone. Three women aged 57, 58 and 61 and three teenagers were injured, two boys aged 14 and one aged 15. Four people were hospitalised, while the others are receiving outpatient treatment. In another village in Snovsk area, a house caught fire due to a UAV strike.
In Ripky community, a garage and a passenger car caught fire after a Heran UAV hit a private yard. A 74-year-old woman was injured as a result of the strike. The enemy carried out two more strikes on an enterprise, damaging equipment. russian forces also attacked a farm, where lorries caught fire.
In settlements of Horodnia community, lorries were damaged as a result of Herbera UAV strikes. A strike was also recorded on the territory of a petrol station.

According to the National Police in the oblast, on 31 May, russian forces attacked Snovsk, Ripky, Verbychi, Horodnia and Starosillia in Chernihiv oblast by drones. Seven people were injured in the attack, including three children. Lorries, a truck crane, a tractor and a combine harvester were damaged. A rural house of culture was completely destroyed.
Chernihiv Border Detachment reported that on 31 May, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast over the course of the day: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar attacks (12 explosions), strikes by Molniia-type UAVs (2 explosions) and FPV drones (15 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (2 explosions). Eleven settlements came under enemy fire.
The State Environmental Inspectorate in Chernihiv oblast informed that in Novhorod-Siverskyi region, environmental damage caused by russian drone attacks on farms in late April 2026 amounts to more than UAH 600,000. Specialists from the environmental inspectorate recorded air pollution and contamination of land with construction waste.
According to the Regional Military Administration, the first 100 children from Chernihiv oblast have gone on holiday to Chernivtsi oblast. They are children of Armed Forces of Ukraine personnel, national guardsmen, border guards, rescuers and police officers. At the camp, they will have a full 14-day programme, sports activities and meetings with Ukrainian football stars.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
25 enemy UAVs were shot down overnight over the oblast.
Nikopol region. 4 people were injured in Nikopol. They received the necessary medical assistance. The enemy attacked the region by drones and artillery. They targeted the regional centre, Pokrovske rural community and Chervonohryhorivka community. Fires broke out. 2 trucks were destroyed, while 9 private houses, 3 outbuildings, an enterprise, 7 cars, a gas station, a non-operational building and infrastructure were damaged.
Synelnykove region. A private house was damaged in Vasylkivka community as a result of a UAV strike.
Dnipro. Due to an evening UAV attack in Dnipro, a country house and a garage caught fire.
Nikopol region. A 27-year-old man was killed due to careless handling of an explosive object. 3 other men aged 39, 64 and 52 were injured. During the day, the enemy attacked the region by drones and artillery. They targeted Nikopol, Marhanets, Myrove, Pokrovske rural and Chervonohryhorivka communities. Fires broke out. A multi-storey building and 4 private houses, a kindergarten, an educational rehabilitation centre, an outbuilding, a non-operational building and 3 cars were damaged.
Synelnykove region. Vasylkivka community was struck by UAVs.
A 59-year-old man was injured in Pokrovske community due to a guided aerial bomb strike.
Samar region. An agricultural enterprise was damaged in Mahdalynivka community as a result of a UAV attack.
Kryvyi Rih region. The occupiers attacked Apostolove community by drones. An 85-year-old woman was injured. A private house, a trailer and a gas pipeline were damaged.
Vinnytsia oblast
2 defenders returned home to Vinnytsia oblast from russian captivity. They are Vadym Shatalyuk and Vasyl Nahornyi. They now face a course of medical treatment and psychological rehabilitation ahead.
Kirovohrad oblast
4 defenders of Ukraine were honored in memorial ceremonies in Kirovohrad oblast. They are Artem Dovhyi from Oleksandriia community, Volodymyr Pilipishyn from Haivoron community, Andrii Karmazin from Novomyrhorod community and Volodymyr Vaka from Subottsivska community.
Artem Dovhyi was killed on 20 June 2025, while carrying out a combat mission in Pokrovsk region of Donetsk oblast.
Volodymyr Pilipishyn was killed on 19 May 2026, while carrying out a combat mission near Vilna Svoboda village in Esman settlement community of Sumy oblast.
Andrii Karmazin was killed on 19 October 2024, in Donetsk oblast.
Volodymyr Vaka was killed on 24 May 2026.
Poltava oblast
After debris from a russian UAV fell on the territory of Poltava territorial community, damage was recorded to 3 private households. In particular, 10 windows were shattered (6 in houses and 4 in utility buildings). No requests for medical assistance have currently been reported to the city’s healthcare institutions. Consultations with residents regarding restoration are ongoing and material reserves are being distributed. The aftermath elimination efforts continue.
A serviceman from Poltava oblast, Ivan Olefir, was killed. The warrior lived in Hradysk community. He had been considered missing for almost 2 years. Ivan Olefir was mobilised on 7 May 2024 and on 25 June, while carrying out a combat mission, he went missing near Novooleksandrivka village in Donetsk oblast.
Cherkasy oblast
Serviceman Roman Proskuriakov was laid to rest in Uman. He was killed on 10 February 2026, while carrying out a combat mission near Serhiivka settlement in Pokrovsk region of Donetsk oblast. He was 40 years old.
Serviceman Valerii Onoshko from Kamianka was killed. This happened on 16 February 2024, while performing military service duties near Pervomaiske settlement in Pokrovsk region of Donetsk oblast as a result of a mortar attack.
Released prisoner of war Yaroslav Sliusarenko was welcomed home in Monastyryshche. He was exchanged on 24 April. His family had been waiting for their son for 1 year and 8 months. Medical treatment and psychological support now lie ahead.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Today, 1 June, russian forces attacked the city of Vilniansk in Zaporizhzhia oblast. According to the head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, the russians struck a local cultural center with a drone. A 60-year-old man was injured.
Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported that yesterday, 31 May, the occupiers launched 941 strikes on 40 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces carried out 20 airstrikes on Komyshuvakha, Zarichne, Zirnytsia, Liubytske, Liubymivka, Svitla Dolyna, Orikhiv, Novoselivka, Hirske, Huliaipilske, Chervona Krynytsia, Preobrazhenka, Omelnyk, and Kopani. 662 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Kushuhum, Komyshuvakha, Richne, Novoyakivlivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Verkhnia Tersa, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Dobropillia, Nove Zaporizhzhia, and Rybne. Five MLRS strikes targeted Stepnohirsk, Lukianivske, Novodanylivka, and Huliaipilske. 254 artillery strikes hit Richne, Novoyakivlivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Verkhnia Tersa, Staroukrainka, Sviatopetrivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Dobropillia, Nove Zaporizhzhia, and Rybne. Authorities received 33 reports of damage to infrastructure, housing, and vehicles.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, 31 May, the Defense Forces repelled 43 russian attacks towards Huliaipole, and another 10 towards Orikhiv.
Advisor to Ukraine’s Minister of Defense, Serhii Sternenko, reported that yesterday, 31 May, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces struck a russian vessel twice in the temporarily occupied city of Berdiansk. The vessel was moored near Berdiansk port’s berth No. 3. According to OSINT analysts, it may have been carrying ammunition.
Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that two residents of the temporarily occupied city of Enerhodar will stand trial. According to investigators, together with russian military personnel, they seized a gas station and later began selling fuel to residents. The accused allegedly caused losses exceeding 3 million hryvnias to the owners. They are charged with violating the laws and customs of war, committed by a group of persons acting in prior conspiracy. The article carries a penalty of 8 to 12 years of imprisonment.
Mykolaiv oblast
Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that combat operations were conducted in the region yesterday. As of the morning of 1 June, there were no casualties or damage reported.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out nine FPV drone attacks on Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. As a result of one of the attacks, a private house in the village of Dmytrivka was damaged. There were no casualties.
Odesa oblast
The press service of Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that as a result of two waves of massive russian drone attacks on Odesa and the Odesa region during the night of 1 June, 2026, six people were injured — four women aged 31 to 84, as well as two men aged 39 and 53. Two of the injured were hospitalized, while the others received medical assistance on site. Facades, balconies, and windows from the 1st to the 4th floors of a nine-story residential building were damaged, along with two single-story apartment buildings and two private houses. In addition, at least seven cars parked near the impact sites were damaged. A utility building and several non-residential buildings were destroyed.

As reported by Odesa’s housing and utilities service, the russian attack on Odesa during the night of 1 June destroyed the covering of a greenhouse, damaged the roof of an administrative building, and shattered 10 windows and 6 doors. The equipment and facilities of the boiler house that heats the greenhouse were also damaged. Water and power supply systems sustained damage.
On the morning of 1 June, russian forces launched another strike on the territory of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi community in Odesa oblast. According to Oleksandr Skalozub, Secretary of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City Council, administrative buildings and a healthcare facility in the city were damaged as a result of the attack.
Kherson oblast
Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin reported the death of a resident of Shyroka Balka in Stanislav community as a result of a russian attack carried out in the morning.
Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that around noon, russians shelled Komyshany with artillery. A 68-year-old man sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to the head.
Two civilians who were injured during a russian shelling of Kherson’s Korabelnyi district overnight sought medical assistance. A 55-year-old man suffered blast injuries and a concussion, while a 61-year-old resident of Kherson sustained mine-blast and closed traumatic brain injuries, a concussion, and contusions.
Kherson Regional Military Administration also reported that five residents of Bilozerka sought medical assistance. Three women from Bilozerka who were injured during a nighttime russian shelling of the settlement were hospitalized with mine-blast injuries and concussions. A 59-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man who were injured during a russian shelling of the settlement on 30 May were diagnosed with mine-blast injuries and concussions.
The Police of Kherson oblast reported that on 31 May, the russian forces attacked Kherson, Prydniprovske, Antonivka, Shyroka Balka, Komyshany, Kizomys, Tavriiske, Dniprovske, Veletenske, Novodmytrivka, Tomyna Balka, Zorivka, Nadiivka, Rozlyv, Sadove, Sofiivka, Stanislav, Inhulivka, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Beryslav, Rakivka, Petrivka, Khreshchenivka, Vysoke, Tarasa Shevchenka, Sukhanove, Lvivski Otruby, Tiahynka, Novoraisk, Novopavlivka, Nova Kamianka, Chervone, Kozatske, and Vesele. Seven apartment buildings, 19 private houses, two vehicles, a gas pipeline, a garage, and an outbuilding were damaged. Six people were injured as a result of the russian attacks.
