What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:   

On 1 July, the aggressor launched 73 attacks on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Artillery shellings of border areas continue. Neskuchne, Sopych, Kozache, Tovstodubove, Korenok, Volfyne, Hirky, Bunyakyne, Mala Slobidka, Bezsalivка, Potapivka, and Ulanove in Sumy oblast, as well as Kovpynka in Chernihiv oblast, came under fire. Enemy airstrikes hit Luzhky and Korenok.

  • Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk: The occupiers carried out 31 shellings, including four involving the use of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
  • Towards Southern Sloboda: The invaders made nine attempts to break through the defense near the settlements of Lyman, Starytsia, and Artilne, and in the direction of Ternova, Chaikivka, Shevyakivka, and Zarubynka.
  • Towards Kupiansk: The enemy did not conduct any offensive operations.
  • Towards Lyman: Ukrainian warriors repelled five attempts by the invaders to advance near Novoselivka and in the direction of Stavky and Ozerne.
  • Towards Sloviansk: The Defense Forces successfully repelled 15 enemy attacks near Riznykivka and in the direction of Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
  • Towards Kramatorsk: Russian invaders carried out three attacks near Chasiv Yar and in the direction of Tykhonivka and Mykolaivka.
  • Towards Kostiantynivka: Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 attacks near the settlements of Novodmytrivka, Kostiantynivka, and Illinivka. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
  • Towards Pokrovsk: Since the beginning of the day, the occupiers attempted 14 times to dislodge Ukrainian warriors from their positions near the settlements of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Vasylivka, Novomykolaivka, and Molodetske, as well as pushing toward Toretske, Novyi Donbas, Bilytske, Shevchenko, and Serhiivka. Three combat engagements are ongoing.
  • Towards Huliaipole: The Defense Forces successfully repelled 12 enemy attacks near Dobropillia and in the direction of Hirke, Krynychne, Huliaipilske, and Charivne. Another two combat engagements are still ongoing.
  • Towards Oleksandrivka, Orikhiv, and Kherson: The enemy has not conducted any offensive operations at this time.

In other directions, there are currently no significant changes in the situation. Enemy attempts to advance are not being recorded.

Ukrainian troops continue to exhaust the enemy along the entire line of combat engagement and in the rear.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

There were 256 combat engagements along the front line.

  • Towards Southern Sloboda: russian troops launched 12 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces in the areas of Starytsia, Lyman, Vovchanski Khutory, and Artilne, as well as pushing toward Mala Vovcha, Khatnie, Zarubynka, and Shevyakivka.
  • Towards Kupiansk: The occupiers carried out five attacks near Kolisnykivka and Borivska Andriivka, and in the direction of Petropavlivka and Kivsharivka.

Twenty settlements across the region came under enemy fire over the day. Fifteen people were injured, including residents of Bohodukhiv, Maksymivka, Vilshany, Ruska Lozova, and Artemivka.

To conduct these attacks, russian forces deployed a missile, a guided aerial bomb, 20 “Molniya” type drones, eight FPV drones, and 18 other types of unestablished unmanned aerial vehicles. The strikes caused damage to residential buildings, gas stations, shops, civilian cars, a tractor, a warehouse, power lines, and other civilian infrastructure objects across the Bohodukhiv, Kupiansk, Izium, Kharkiv, and Chuhuiv regions.

Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration reports that the transit evacuation point in Lozova accommodated 220 people over the past day. In total, 43,290 evacuated individuals have been registered there since it began operating.

Oleksandr Kulik, Spokesperson for Derhachi City Military Administration, reports that local authorities are preparing an official appeal to the Regional Defense Council to introduce the mandatory evacuation of children from four settlements in the Derhachi community due to the intensification of Russian FPV drone attacks.

The proposed evacuation concerns the town of Slatyne and the villages of Ruska Lozova, Bezruky, and Leshchenky. According to the spokesperson, russian drones are targeting Slatyne and Ruska Lozova most aggressively, where 89 and 45 children currently remain, respectively.

Meanwhile, another 100 children from Kharkiv oblast have returned home after a two-week recreational trip to Lviv oblast as part of the “Carpathian Shift” project. The program hosted children of military personnel, emergency rescue workers, and police officers. This summer, 200 children from the region have already received recreational and psychological support through this initiative.

Donetsk oblast

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that over the past day, the Russian army launched 31 attacks Towards Pokrovsk, near Hryshyne, Novomykolaivka, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Udachne, and Kotlyne, as well as in the direction of Serhiivka and Bilytske. The occupiers carried out 27 assaults Towards Slovyansk, while the Defense Forces repelled another 23 attacks Towards Kostiantynivka.

Additionally, the General Staff confirmed that the Defense Forces struck a road bridge across the Malyi Kalchyk River near occupied Hranitne, which russian troops used for logistics between Mariupol and Donetsk. Viktor Trehubov, Spokesperson for the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Forces, notes that a fuel shortage is being observed among russian troops in the Southern Sloboda and Lyman sectors.

Furthermore, Volodymyr Holiahin, Head of the Communications Branch of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade, reports that towards Slovyansk, russian troops deploy guided aerial bombs daily against Mykolaivka, and are setting up artillery positions and UAV control posts near occupied Siversk.

Oleksandr Honcharenko, Head of Kramatorsk City Military Administration, reports that in the early hours of 1 July, russian troops dropped three FAB-250 guided aerial bombs fitted with correction modules onto Kramatorsk. Three people were injured: a woman born in 1977, and two men born in 1983 and 2000.

According to the State Emergency Service of Donetsk oblast, multi-story buildings and a cafe sustained damage, and traffic along a section of Viacheslav Chornovil Street has been temporarily blocked.

According to Donetsk Regional Police, on 30 June, Russian troops carried out 1,325 strikes against the front line and the residential sector. Twelve settlements came under fire, resulting in damage to 60 civilian objects, including 45 residential houses.

  • Kramatorsk: Strikes involving three FAB-250 guided aerial bombs and four drones injured three people. The attacks damaged 8 apartment buildings, 25 private houses, a church, a cafe, two shops, a fitness club, a stadium, two gas stations, and two civilian cars.
  • Slovyansk, Oleksievo-Druzhkivka, Sviatohorivka, and Mykhailivka: One injured civilian was recorded in each settlement.
  • Druzhkivka: The town was hit six times, including four strikes with guided aerial bombs, which damaged four apartment buildings and an administrative building.

In the frontline village of Kindrativka, the “White Angel” evacuation crew, together with representatives of the “Chaplain Patrol,” successfully evacuated a woman with limited mobility and another local family due to the constant threat of Russian FPV drones.

Ihor Smilyanskyi, Director General of Ukrposhta, announced that the company will temporarily suspend the operations of its last remaining branch in Druzhkivka due to the worsening security situation.

 

Luhansk oblast

Artem Lysohor, Head of Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, reports that over the past day, russian troops shelled the positions of Ukrainian defenders in Luhansk oblast four times using tube artillery, four times with mortars, three times with automatic grenade launchers, and twice with MLRS. The occupiers also carried out seven drone drops and deployed 12 FPV drones.

Towards Lyman, the russian army launched 14 assaults near eight settlements.

Luhansk Oblast Military Administration informs that starting 1 September, the occupation administration in the so-called “lpr” plans to introduce a network of mobile pharmacies to replace destroyed or closed brick-and-mortar facilities. A single mobile pharmacy will reportedly serve around 50 settlements, visiting each one only once every few weeks. This arrangement will leave residents without access to essential medication most of the time.

 

Furthermore, the occupation authorities are failing to address preparation issues for the upcoming heating season. In Luhansk, the centralized heating system is approximately 80% worn out, with the last major overhaul having taken place before the 2013–2014 heating season.

 

Oleksii Kharchenko, Head of Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, reports that Russians are relocating high school students from temporarily occupied Lysychansk and Rubizhne to Tatarstan. The young men and women are being moved to Yelabuga, where they study and live separated from their families. Parents are only permitted to visit their children once—during graduation.

 

The students are being encouraged to pursue engineering specialties and build their futures in russia. According to the Oblast Military Administration, Yelabuga is home to one of the largest attack drone production centers in the Russian Federation.

 

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

According to the Ministry of Culture, priority emergency restoration works have begun at the Oleksandr Dovzhenko National Film Studio following the russian missile attacks on Kyiv on 2 and 15 June. The works are primarily aimed at protecting the damaged facilities from further deterioration and creating the conditions necessary to resume the studio’s production activities. As a result of the two missile strikes, 18 buildings on the studio’s premises were damaged, including nationally and locally designated monuments of the history of science and technology.

A russian military commander has been served with a notice of suspicion in connection with the mass killings and torture of civilians in Bucha, Kyiv region, during the early stages of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The suspect is Artem Taryeyev, commander of a reconnaissance platoon of the 234th Air Assault Regiment of the 76th Guards Air Assault Division of the russian Armed Forces. According to the investigation, at least 22 civilians were killed within the area of responsibility of his unit. The charges relate to documented crimes, including the premeditated killing of six civilians in Bucha, the attempted murder of another civilian, and the cruel treatment of at least nine people. The announcement was made by Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko and the National Police of Ukraine.

According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, a free four-week basic training course organised by the Kyiv Regional Centre for Civilian Training for National Resistance will begin on 1 August. The programme covers 15 areas of training. Classes will be held on Saturdays and Sundays.

Zhytomyr oblast

Nearly 20 students of the Zviahel Medical Professional College completed national resistance training. The programme included military discipline, tactical medicine, and practical casualty care skills in conditions closely simulating combat. The information was provided by the Zhytomyr Regional Council’s Centre for Civilian Training for National Resistance.

according to the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, the Stanyshivka community in Zhytomyr щидфіе hosted children from the Mohyliv community in Dnipropetrovsk region for a health and recreation programme, as part of the “Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities” initiative. The children took part in a diverse programme featuring educational excursions, cultural activities, outdoor recreation, and opportunities to learn about the history and traditions of the Polissia region.

Sumy oblast

The Regional Military Administration reported that over the past week, Ukraine’s Defence Forces destroyed or suppressed 1,016 enemy UAVs over Sumy oblast using electronic warfare systems. Among the intercepted drones were 837 strike UAVs and 35 reconnaissance UAVs, while 144 were suppressed by electronic warfare. According to the Territorial Defence Zone Headquarters, a total of 1,067 enemy UAVs were detected over the oblast during the reporting period, with Ukrainian air defence units destroying or suppressing 95% of them.

The Regional Military Administration informed that four civilians were injured in two russian attacks on Sumy community on 1 July. Enemy forces struck civilian infrastructure in the regional centre by drones. One UAV hit a civilian vehicle at a filling station, injuring the driver, a female passenger and a filling station employee. The vehicle was destroyed by fire. Another woman was injured in a separate strike on the city.

According to the State Emergency Service of Sumy oblast, during the night of 1 July, russian drones struck Hlukhiv town, causing a fire at a garage cooperative. Due to the threat of repeated attacks, firefighters were forced to suspend operations several times. All fires were extinguished.

The State Emergency Service also reported that on the evening of 30 June, a russian UAV struck a five-storey residential building in Sumy. Specialists inspected the site. No injuries were reported.

On the evening of 30 June, an enemy drone struck a private household in Nova Slobidka community. Firefighters extinguished the resulting fire.

The Regional Military Administration informed that on 30 June, a 48-year-old resident of Sumy died in hospital after sustaining severe injuries while working at an energy facility in the oblast. Doctors fought for his life for a week but were unable to save him. According to the RMA, russian forces attacked the energy facility by a drone while workers were on site carrying out their duties.

According to the Regional Military Administration, as of 3pm. on 30 June, 12 civilians had sought medical assistance following the guided aerial bomb strikes on Sumy community. Five of the injured remain in hospital, while the others received treatment and are recovering as outpatients.

From the morning of 30 June to the morning of 1 July 2026, russian forces carried out nearly 130 attacks on 28 settlements across 15 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy, Shostka and Konotop regions. The enemy used artillery, FPV drones, multiple launch rocket systems, UAVs, explosive munitions dropped from UAVs and guided aerial bombs. Air raid alerts in the oblast lasted for 19 hours and 55 minutes during the reporting period.

The Regional Military Administration reported that, as of the morning of 1 July, 25 people had been injured in enemy attacks across Sumy oblast over the previous 24 hours. Damage to civilian infrastructure, residential buildings and vehicles was also recorded:

▪️ In Sumy community, 19 people sustained wounds and injuries and three others were affected after enemy guided aerial bombs struck a civilian infrastructure facility. Civilian infrastructure facilities, an apartment building, non-residential premises and vehicles were damaged. A 48-year-old man who had been injured in Sumy community on 23 June died in hospital;

▪️ In Seredyna-Buda community, a 40-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man were injured in enemy shelling. A civilian infrastructure facility and non-residential premises were damaged;

▪️ In Bilopollia community, a 21-year-old woman was injured in an enemy drone strike. A private residential house and non-residential premises were damaged;

▪️ In Hlukhiv community, a civilian infrastructure facility, an apartment building and vehicles were damaged. A 47-year-old man who had been injured in an enemy strike on the community on 29 June sought medical assistance;

▪️ In Mykolaivka rural community, a private residential house was damaged;

▪️ In Velyka Pysarivka community, a civilian infrastructure facility and a residential house were damaged;

▪️ In Romny community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;

▪️ In Buryn community, a non-residential premises was damaged;

▪️ In Vorozhba community, residential houses were damaged;

▪️ In Nova Slobidka community, a private residential house was damaged;

▪️ In Svesa community, a vehicle was damaged;

▪️ In Krasnopillia community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

Over the past 24 hours, local authorities, together with units of the State Emergency Service, the National Police and civil society organisations, evacuated six people from border communities.

The Regional Military Administration informed that seven additional communities in Sumy oblast have been added to the official list of territories where hostilities are taking place or have taken place. Under decisions adopted by the relevant commission on 14 May and 22 June, the following communities were included: Bezdryk, Mykolaivka settlement, Nyzhnia Syrovatka, Putyvl, Sad, Berezivka and Boromlia. For residents of border areas, this status provides access to a range of state guarantees, social support measures and assistance mechanisms for war-affected communities.

The Regional Military Administration also announced that the curfew in Sumy oblast has been temporarily shortened. From 1 July until 15 September 2026 inclusive, it will be in effect from 12:00am. to 4am. The decision was adopted by the Oblast Defence Council in response to requests from the region’s agricultural sector.

According to the Regional Military Administration, 428 Points of Invincibility are currently operating across the oblast, where residents can charge mobile phones and other devices, access the internet, receive information and obtain basic assistance. Over the past 24 hours alone, 431 people used these facilities.

 

Chernihiv oblast

The State Border Guard Service reported that over the past 24 hours, its units destroyed 14 aerial targets over Chernihiv oblast. These included five Shahed UAVs, five Herbera UAVs, one Lancet loitering munition, one Orlan UAV and two Molniya UAVs.

Andrii Podorvan, Adviser to Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, said that Ukraine’s Defence Forces eliminated nearly 1,500 russian drones over Chernihiv oblast during June. According to him, 1,332 russian strike drones were shot down, while another 136 were lost from radar.

Andrii Podorvan also informed that Chernihiv oblast came under more than 900 enemy attacks during June. Three people were killed and 36 injured in russian strikes on the oblast over the course of the month.

According to Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, during the day on 1 July, russian forces attacked a farm in Pushkari village, Novhorod-Siverskyi community, by a Molniya UAV.

The State Emergency Service of Chernihiv oblast reported that on 30 June, a russian drone attack on facilities in Nizhyn region caused a fire at a filling station. Firefighters promptly extinguished the blaze. No injuries were reported.

Oleksandr Seliverstov said that at around 9pm. on 30 June, russian forces struck a filling station in Novhorod-Siverskyi by a Lancet loitering munition.

The National Police informed that on 30 June, a russian drone attack on Horodnia damaged a residential house and a filling station.

According to Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, on 30 June, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar attacks (7 explosions), artillery strikes (31 explosions), Molniya UAV attacks (2 explosions), FPV drone attacks (34 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (5 explosions). Twelve settlements came under enemy fire.

Andrii Podorvan announced that a public information campaign on the mandatory evacuation of border settlements in Chernihiv oblast will begin on 1 July. The measure covers 19 villages under a decision of the Oblast Defence Council. According to local authorities, more than 1,000 people, including 120 children, currently remain in those settlements.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration reported that on 30 June, russian forces carried out 846 strikes on 48 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian troops conducted 22 airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, Malokaterynivka, Komyshuvakha, Rozumivka, Liubytske, Rizdvanka, Barvinivka, Zirnytsia, Lisne, Rozivka, Pavlivka, Shyroke, Kopani, Babashi, Yehorivka, and Mala Tokmachka. 597 UAVs of various types, mainly FPV drones, attacked Zaporizhzhia, Vilniansk, Kushuhum, Balabyne, Malokaterynivka, Komyshuvakha, Richne, Novooleksandrivka, Novoiakovlivka, Mykhailo-Lukasheve, Kalynivka, Novorozivka, Pidhirne, Adrianivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Dobropillia, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, Rybne, Verkhnia Tersa, Novoselivka, Vozdvyzhivka, and Kosivtseve. Two MLRS strikes targeted Novoselivka and Lukianivske. Another 225 artillery strikes hit Malokaterynivka, Richne, Novoiakovlivka, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Pavlivka, Lukianivske, Mali Shcherbaky, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Charivne, Dobropillia, Rybne, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka, Verkhnia Tersa, Vozdvyzhivka, Novoselivka, Tsvitkove, and Kosivtseve. Authorities received 259 reports of damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure. Two people were killed, and 36 others were injured as a result of russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the Zaporizhzhia region.

Last week, russian forces intensified attacks on gas stations in Zaporizhzhia and the region. As a result, seven filling stations were damaged, some of them destroyed. According to military analyst Ivan Stupak, such strikes may complicate military logistics and create additional difficulties for civilians. However, Zaporizhzhia RMA stated that there is currently no fuel shortage, prices are expected to remain stable, and protective measures against russian drones are being implemented at gas stations.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of 16:00 on 1 July, Ukraine’s Defense Forces successfully repelled 12 enemy attacks towards Huliaipole near Dobropillia, Hirske, Krynychne, Huliaipilske, and Charivne. Two engagements were still ongoing. During the previous day, 30 June, Ukrainian forces repelled 23 russian attacks towardsHuliaipole.

The General Staff also reported that overnight on 1 July, Ukrainian forces struck a russian fuel and lubricants storage facility in the temporarily occupied Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia oblast. In addition, five UAV command posts were hit in the areas of Hrozove and Zaliznychne in Zaporizhzhia oblast, as well as in Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, and Pokrovsk in Donetsk oblast.

Two key energy infrastructure facilities were repaired at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant — the switchgear supplying backup power via the 330 kV “Ferosplavna-1” line and the main 750 kV “Dniprovska” transmission line. However, the latter has not yet been reactivated due to damage to the substation it connects to. According to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the repairs were carried out near the front line after extensive demining, under the protection of a sixth localized ceasefire arrangement.

Mykolaiv oblast

Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that during the night and early morning, the enemy attacked the region with Shahed-type UAVs. As a result of the attack, a construction supermarket  in the city of Snihurivka caught fire. A warehouse building was damaged in the city of Nova Odesa.

According to the head of Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Vitalii Kim, a 66-year-old truck driver was killed in the Shahed drone attack on an enterprise in Nova Odesa. Three other men were hospitalized with injuries.

Yesterday, 30 June, the enemy carried out four FPV drone attacks on Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. No casualties were reported.

Odesa oblast

In the afternoon of 1 July, an explosion was heard in Odesa region. The Air Force had warned of a threat of a ballistic missile strike from the south. The explosion occurred at around 12:51. Three minutes earlier, at 12:48, an air raid alert was declared in the region.

Kherson oblast

The Police of Kherson oblast reported that on the morning of 1 July, russian forces attacked a passenger shuttle bus carrying civilians with a strike drone. As a result of the attack, two people were killed, and ten others were injured.

Today, at around 11:40, russian occupiers attacked the city center of Kherson with a strike drone of the “Gerbera/Shahed” type. As a result of the drone impact, a fire broke out in a building, which was extinguished by the State Emergency Service. In nearby buildings, windows were shattered by the blast wave and debris. According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, one person was killed, and 10 others were injured.

Kherson Regional Military Administration also reported that at around 13:30, russians attacked Novoraisk with a drone. A 70-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds to the chest, a concussion, a blast injury, and a closed traumatic brain injury.

Around noon, russian forces shelled residential areas in Bilozerka with artillery. A 55-year-old resident sustained a blast injury and a concussion.

A resident of Dariivka sought medical assistance after being attacked by a drone the previous evening. The 55-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds to the head, a blast injury, and a closed traumatic brain injury.

A resident of Bilozerka sought medical help after being injured in the previous morning’s shelling. The 39-year-old man was hospitalized with a blast injury and a concussion.

A child was injured due to a russian drone strike on Korabelnyi district of Kherson on 27 June. As a result of the drone hitting a house, a 5-year-old boy sustained a mine-explosive injury and an acute stress reaction.

Medical assistance was also required for two children who were injured on 24 June during a russian drone attack in the central district of Kherson. A 16-year-old girl and a 6-year-old boy sustained blast injuries and acute stress reactions.

The Police of Kherson oblast reported that on 30 June, the russian firces attacked Kherson, Kiseliivka, Nadiivka, Sadove, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Yantarne, Dariivka, Komyshany, Zymivnyk, Zelenivka, Tomyna Balka, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Shyroka Balka, Sofiivka, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Inhulets, Mykilske, Vitrove, Chaichyne, Beryslav, Petropavlivka, Osokorivka, Velyka Oleksandrivka, Zolota Balka, Vysoke, Virivka, Matrosivka, Kozatske, and Vesele. The attacks damaged an apartment building, 11 private houses, railway infrastructure, an agricultural enterprise, a transport company, a police service vehicle, two civilian cars, a gas pipeline, and a garage. As a result of russian aggression, two people were killed, and five were injured.

Volyn oblast

Kolomyia community honored the bright memory of soldiers who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of Ukraine. The relatives of the fallen defenders were presented with For Merit to the Carpathians regional awards, awarded posthumously.

Zakarpattia oblast

At the Humanitarian Center Owl’s Nest NGO during June, internally displaced persons registered in Uzhhorod received 93 packages with food kits; 105 baby and adult diapers; 467 loaves of bread. Volunteers distributed clothing, shoes, bed linen and dishes (a total of 6,244 units).

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

A Ukrainian-Slovak business mission was held in Ivano-Frankivsk with the participation of representatives of government institutions, Slovak businesses, and over 40 enterprises from the Carpathian region. The investment potential of the region was presented and prospects for cooperation in production, logistics, energy, woodworking, mechanical engineering and other industries were discussed.

Lviv oblast

Families of missing servicemen met with representatives of state structures in Lviv RMA. In an open format, the relatives of the Defenders asked questions to representatives of relevant institutions and received answers regarding the search, the progress of investigations, social security, etc.

Rivne oblast

The RMA reported that summing up June, there were 49 alarms in the oblast (in May there were 48), the longest, on 21 June, lasted 3 h and 59 min, during the month there were 19 days when at least one alarm was sounded, the maximum silence regime without alarms was 2 days.

Ternopil oblast

59 soldiers from Ternopil will receive UAH 10,000 each to purchase equipment. Since the beginning of the year, 3,022 soldiers from the community have received such assistance, and in 2025, 3,243 defenders received funds.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi community sent 29 Vampire strike UAV-bombers to the Warriors of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade.

Chernivtsi oblast

In the Zalozetsky/Karmeliuk neighborhood, the modernization of boiler equipment has been completed. The new equipment is modern and has twice the capacity of the boilers that were used previously and have already exhausted their resources. The total cost of purchasing equipment, installation, connection and commissioning works is UAH 4.2m.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Ukraine has signed an agreement with Sweden for the supply of Gripen fighter jets. The agreement provides for the purchase of 16 Gripen E multi-role fighters with Eurocredit funds and the transfer by Sweden of 16 Gripen C/D as military assistance in early 2027. Deliveries of the purchased aircraft will begin in 2029.
