Liberation and Abductions:
A 20-year-old young man was successfully returned from temporarily occupied Ukrainian territory. He was 17 when the full-scale war began and had enrolled in a Ukrainian university in 2021. However, after his hometown was occupied, online studies became nearly impossible due to the lack of communication. Later, the occupation authorities forced him to obtain a Russian passport and attempted to mobilize him into the Russian army. This became a turning point—he decided to escape the occupation at any cost. Now he is safe on Ukrainian-controlled territory, reunited with his family. This was reported by the Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak.
Meanwhile, Russia has abducted 39 children from temporarily occupied Luhansk region and taken them to Russia. The children, from the occupied cities of Rubizhne, Kreminna, Lysychansk, and Svatove in Luhansk region, were transported to the “Klyazma” sanatorium near Moscow. The occupiers claim the children are there for “rehabilitation and recovery,” but in reality, this is part of a hybrid genocide—a systematic effort to isolate them from Ukraine, its language, culture, and truth.

Russian National Guard officers are involving young schoolchildren in these “special games,” as they call them. However, media sources claim that the children allegedly built and equipped the checkpoint on their own. This type of play modeling is a psychological operation designed to achieve multiple effects.
