It has been the 226th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression.
What happened in Ukraine today:
Here is operational information from General Staff of Ukraine as of 6 pm:
The enemy attempts to hold the ground in the temporarily occupied territories, focuses on thwarting the actions of the Armed Forces in certain directions, and continues the offensive actions towards Bakhmut and Avdiivka.
The enemy fires at our positions along the entire contact line, erects the defensive constructions in certain directions and conducts the aerial reconnaissance. There were enemy strikes on civilian infrastructure and residential buildings violating the norms of the International Humanitarian Law, laws and customs of war.
The territory of Ukraine is exposed to the threat of missile and rocket strikes. The occupiers launched 2 missile and 5 air strikes, fired over 10 times from multi-rocket launch systems.
The civilians and facilities were affected by the enemy strikes in over 10 settlements, namely Ridkodub, Huliaipilske, Novoandriivka, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Slavhorod.
To strike the settlements of Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv, the enemy used 4 Iranian-made unmanned aerial vehicles, Shahed-136.

Identification of men who avoid mobilization continues, they are detained and forcibly sent to units of the 1st Army Corps to replenish enemy losses.
According to available information, there are significant problems of material support for mobilization measures carried out by the military leadership of the russian federation. Thus, in early October, out of 8 K mobilized persons who are are staying at the Novosibirsk Higher Command School, no more than half were provided with military uniforms.
Besides, these personnel are given only field uniforms and shoes. The rest of the equipment must be purchased at their own expense or try to receive from local authorities as humanitarian aid. The issue of providing mobilized helmets and body armor remains problematic.

The start of the “customs visa-free regime” will improve trade between Ukraine, the European Union and its partners, while the system itself and the path to accession to the conventions passed by Kyiv will become a model for our European integration in other areas. Such conclusions were reached by the participants of the first Customs Platform: Ukraine-EU 2022, which took place on October 5 in Kyiv. On October 1, the provisions of the international Conventions on the procedure of joint transit and simplification of formalities in trade in goods came into force for Ukraine.
