 ✅ The Ukrainian army destroyed 2,593 units of the invaders’ military machinery. Its estimated value is USD 5 billion or 700 billion Russian rubles. 

✅ The Ukrainian army took back two towns in Chernihiv Oblast and scoured the invaders from this territory. According to the Operational Command “North,” Ukrainian soldiers have halted the invaders’ advance towards Kyiv, having thus disrupted enemy’s plans.

✅ Head of the Donetsk Regional Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko states the humanitarian corridor has been opened in Mariupol.

“The humanitarian corridor is opened. A column of humanitarian aid has left Zaporizhzhia for Mariupol. Over 90 tons of food and medicines are heading to the city which has been under siege for 13 days now. The Orthodox Church priests volunteered to personally accompany the humanitarian cargo. Every effort is made for 400k Mariupol residents to receive this long-awaited and critically important help!”

✅ In Kharkiv Oblast, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit the Russian fighter aircraft that crashed down in Belgorod Oblast, Russian Federation.

✅ 600 Russian marines refused to fight and rioted near Odesa, a captive Russian sapper informed the Security Service of Ukraine.

✅ President Zelensky informed that the Ukrainian government had approved a complete abolishment of the VAT and excise duties on fuel. The Ukrainian Parliament is to vote for this decision. Speaker Stefanchuk is already organising a session.

✅ By the fall of this year, Germany is to completely stop using coal from Russia and become almost independent of Russian oil by the end of the year.

✅ Meanwhile, Ukraine has set a new record for the number of medals won at the 2022 Winter Paralympics.
