War in Ukraine today: latest news, 13 April 2026 (photo)

It has been the 1510  th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:   

Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has carried out 53 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces.

Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today in the Sumy region, the settlements of Tovstodubove, Novoivanivka, Bachivsk, Iskryskivshchyna, Ryzhivka, and Budky were affected. An airstrike was carried out on the settlement of Novoivanivka.

In the Northern Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, one combat engagement took place toward the settlement of Taratutyne. In addition, the enemy launched one airstrike, dropped four guided bombs, carried out 34 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, three of which involved multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy twice assaulted the positions of our units near the settlements of Zybyne and Vovchansk. One engagement is still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy attempted twice to improve its tactical position toward the settlements of Novoplatonivka and Novoosynove. One battle is currently ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, since the beginning of the day, five enemy assaults have taken place near Kolodiazi, Dibrova, and Lyman. Four engagements are ongoing.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy carried out one attack on Defense Forces positions near Rai-Oleksandrivka.

Near the settlement of Tykhonivka, our defenders repelled one attack in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Kostiantynivka direction, one engagement is ongoing. Eleven enemy attempts to advance near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiivka were successfully repelled by our defenders.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have attempted 16 times to dislodge our troops from their positions near the settlements of Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Udachne, Zapovidne, Bilytske, Hryshyne, and Muravka. One engagement is still ongoing.

In the Oleksandrivka direction, five combat engagements took place near the settlements of Oleksandrohrad, Zelenyi Hai, Sichneve, Vorone, and Novohryhorivka. Airstrikes were carried out near the settlements of Omelnyk, Yasna Poliana, and Zarichne.

In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces repelled five enemy attacks near the settlements of Zaliznychne, Hirke, and Huliaipole. The enemy carried out airstrikes near the settlements of Vozdvyzhivska, Novomykolaivka, Yehorivka, Charivne, Dolynka, and Kopani.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy conducted one attack near Stepnohirsk and carried out airstrikes near the settlements of Yasna Poliana, Zarichne, and Omelnyk.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy conducted three unsuccessful assault actions toward the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilogrudyi Island.

In other directions, no significant changes in the situation have been observed so far. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded.

Ukrainian forces are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of contact and in the rear.

Russia has violated the declared “ceasefire regime” more than 10,000 times ahead of Easter. This includes 1,567 artillery strikes on our troops’ positions, 119 assaults, and 9,035 kamikaze drone strikes, according to the General Staff.

For the first time in the history of the war, Ukraine captured a Russian position using only drones and unmanned ground systems (UGVs). These are Ukrainian ground-based robotic platforms. For the first time, an enemy position was taken exclusively by unmanned platforms—UGVs and drones. The occupiers surrendered, and the operation was carried out without infantry involvement and without any Ukrainian casualties, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.

 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Frontline
As of 4pm on 13 April, new attacks by russian forces have been reported along the front line. Towards Southern Sloboda, they launched two assaults on the positions of the Defence Forces in the areas of Zybyne and Vovchansk; one engagement is still ongoing. Towards Kupiansk, the russians attempted twice to advance towards Novoplatonivka and Novoosynove; one clash is also ongoing.

Over the past 24 hours, 107 combat engagements were recorded on the front line. Towards Southern Sloboda, the russians attempted 11 times to breach the defences of Ukrainian units in the areas of Synelnykove, Starytsia, Izbytske, Vovchansk, Lyman and Tsehelne. Towards Kupiansk, the occupiers attacked three times near Petropavlivka, Podoliv and towards Zahryzove.

From the morning of 12 April, despite the so-called “Easter ceasefire” having been declared, the russians attacked the Zolochiv community on the border of the oblast nine times using Molniya, Gerbera and FPV drones.

Russian troops have violated the “Easter ceasefire” in Kharkiv oblast. In the north of the region, significant losses among the occupiers were recorded during the 24 hours of 12 April. Towards Vovchansk, they advanced in small infantry groups without air or artillery support.

Attacks

On the afternoon of 13 April, russian forces attacked Ivashky and Klynova Novoselivka. At around 11:25am, they struck Ivashky with a Molniya drone and fired mortar rounds, damaging around 40 flats in two-storey buildings. At around 1:30pm, the russians attacked Klynova Novoselivka with a Molniya drone and an FPV drone: a direct hit caused a house to burn down, and a barn, outbuildings and power lines were also damaged.

The russians shelled Bohodukhiv with drones, believed to be of the Geran-2 type. Four people were injured in the attack, including a child. A seven-year-old boy suffered head cuts from glass, two women experienced acute stress reactions, and an elderly man was also injured. In the town, 10 private houses, six outbuildings and seven cars were damaged.

In Velykyi Burluk of Kupiansk region, a woman was killed and another injured when a russian drone struck. A man and a woman also suffered acute stress reactions. The attack caused a house and a car to catch on fire, with a total of four private homes and three outbuildings damaged.

The russians struck Derhachi with a drone, targeting the premises of a civilian transport company. Five men were injured in the attack, two of whom are in a serious condition. All have been hospitalised.

In Fartushne, Zolochiv region a russian drone damaged an ambulance that was evacuating an injured person. No one was injured.

In the morning, the russians carried out an air strike on the village of Riasne in the north of Kharkiv oblast. Preliminary reports indicate that three guided bombs struck the area. Two women, aged 51 and 72, were injured, one of whom is in a critical condition. At least four houses and outbuildings were damaged, as well as power lines.

At around 12:45am, the russians also attacked Bohodukhiv with three Geran-2 drones. The strike destroyed a residential building and damaged other homes, outbuildings and vehicles. A 57-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction.

Over the past 24 hours, five settlements were under russian attack. Three people were injured as a result of the shelling. In Zolochiv, a 32-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman were wounded, whilst in Bohodukhiv, a 58-year-old man suffered an acute stress reaction.

In Oleksandrivka, Blyzniukivka community, a 19-year-old man was injured by the explosion of an unknown object. Medical staff also treated a 59-year-old woman who was injured during shelling on 10 April in Blahodativka, Kindrashivka community.

The russians used various types of weaponry in Kharkiv oblast: two Geran-2’drones, seven Molniya drones, one FPV drone and a further 10 drones of an unidentified type.

The shelling damaged civilian infrastructure. In Bohodukhiv region four private houses and a shop were damaged in Zolochiv; in Klynova Novoselivka, a private house and two outbuildings were damaged; in Svitlychne, three private houses were damaged; and in Bohodukhiv, two private houses, a car and an outbuilding were damaged. In Kupiansk region, in Velykyi Burluk, a farm building was damaged.

At around 10:30am on 12 April, the russians attacked Derhachi with a Molniya drone and the drone crashed on the grounds of a private farmstead; there were no casualties. In Velykyi Burluk, an FPV drone struck a residential area, causing a 70 sq m outbuilding to catch fire.

The russians also attacked a car with a drone during the evacuation of a family in  Liutivka. As a result of the strike, a 70-year-old man sustained chest injuries.

In Zolochiv community, bomb disposal experts discovered two unexploded drone warheads. In total, specialists were called out three times over the past 24 hours to the sites of russian strikes.

Evacuation

The transit evacuation centre in Lozova received 15 people over the past 24 hours. Since the centre opened, 27,958 people have been registered there.

On Easter Sunday, five residents were evacuated from Kupiansk.

Donetsk oblast

Over the past 24 hours, the Defence Forces repelled 15 russian assaults in Kostiantynivka axis. The occupiers attacked near Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Novopavlivka, Kuchero-Yar and Sofiivka. Towards Pokrovsk, the russians carried out 28 attacks.

The russian army violated the so-called “ceasefire” towards Lyman just two minutes after it was announced, at 4:02 on 11 April. The occupiers did not evacuate the wounded, but instead pushed their infantry forward, building up forces for further assaults. They also used the “ceasefire” to bring units up to the front line and continued shelling the positions of the Defence Forces.

Towards Pokrovsk, the russians violated the “ceasefire” near Hryshyne and Myrnohrad, attacking with drones and artillery and conducting infantry assaults. Ukrainian troops destroyed the infantry and equipment involved in the attacks.

In Chasiv Yar, the russians struck a group of wounded soldiers retreating from their positions during an evacuation using FPV drones. The strike killed three russian soldiers who had previously been taken prisoner.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian troops delivered Easter food to the front lines using drones. Easter cakes and other food were handed over to soldiers from Kramatorsk and Luhansk border guard units.

At around 1:38am, the russians attacked Kramatorsk with three Geran-2 drones, striking the city centre and residential areas. At least two men and an elderly woman were injured in the attack. 8 high-rise buildings, a detached house, cars and shops were damaged. The full extent of the damage is being assessed.

At around 1:46am, the russians attacked Kramatorsk using a Geran-2 drone, striking the city’s residential area less than two hours after the end of the so-called “ceasefire”. A woman born in 1940 was killed in the attack; her body was recovered from the rubble by rescue workers. One other person was also injured.

On 12 April, russian forces attacked the front line and residential areas in the Donetsk region. Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka and Ocheretyne were under attack. Four civilian facilities were damaged.

In Druzhkivka, the russians used an FPV drone to kill a civilian on a road and damage a car. In Kramatorsk, one person was killed and another injured as a result of overnight shelling. A garage was also damaged in the city, and a civilian car was damaged in Ocheretyne.

Over the past week, 19 people were evacuated from Sviatohirsk and Druzhkivka.

Sloviansk Thermal Power Plant ceased electricity generation on 1 April. The company had warned the regional authorities of this in advance. Despite this, the region remains connected to Ukraine’s power grid, and electricity is being supplied in line with demand.

In Donetsk oblast, Easter services were held in 61 churches. Around 150 law enforcement officers and anti-drone units were deployed for security.

Five people remain living in the village of Novoserhiivka in Novodonetsk community. Among them is a 69-year-old displaced person from Yenakiieve, who has lived there since 2014 and runs her farm on her own, despite the proximity of the front line.

Over 300 cats and 150 dogs were evacuated from Dobropillia. The shelter’s founder transported the animals to Odesa oblast and continues to return to the frontline town to feed the abandoned animals and take them to safer regions.

Luhansk oblast

The russians launched 11 assaults towards Lyman and Sloviansk. Specifically, five attacks targeted Lyman axis, and a further six Sloviansk axis. Fighting took place near five settlements. The occupiers used automatic grenade launchers, unmanned aerial vehicles and FPV drones.

In occupied Luhansk oblast, the russians are attempting to compensate for the shortage of medical staff by sending doctors from Kalmykia on secondment, who visit twice a year.

In the so-called “lpr”, around 900km of water mains are in critical need of repair, with over 80% of the network worn out. Due to breakdowns, hundreds of thousands of residents are regularly left without water. At the same time, the occupying authorities plan to stretch out the repairs until 2030, with a possible extension to 2035.

In 2025, the russians deported 570 people from occupied Luhansk oblast who had not been granted russian citizenship. The deportations are carried out selectively, lists are drawn up in each “municipality”.

The head of the branch of the russian “Promsvyazbank” in the occupied oblast has also been notified in absentia of being under suspicion. According to the investigation, the bank supports the activities of the occupying administrations and the russian army, and facilitates the transition of the occupied territories to ruble-denominated transactions.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

According to the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, over 800 buildings were damaged in the village of Borodianka during active hostilities and the occupation, with over 600 of them already restored. The reconstruction involves not only rebuilding housing stock but also modernising infrastructure – from upgrading heating and water supply networks to developing energy independence, digital services and creating a barrier-free environment. Participants in an off-site working meeting visited Borodianka as an example of comprehensive reconstruction.

The Kyiv City State Administration reported that resilience centres have been set up in Kyiv based on rehabilitation centres for children and people with disabilities. Each centre is designed to accommodate up to 200 people at a time. The premises are equipped with alternative power sources and the necessary infrastructure, as well as charging stations and batteries, heaters, torches, folding beds, blankets, furniture and hygiene products.

On 12 April, the weekly peaceful rally “Don’t be silent! Captivity kills!” took place in Kyiv in support of prisoners of war and missing soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On Easter Sunday, relatives, loved ones and concerned citizens gathered at Mykhailivska Square. Participants in the rally stood with brigade flags, placards and photographs of their loved ones. A motorcade was also organised – cars bearing military unit numbers and flags drove past, sounding their horns.

According to the Regional Military Administration, a multi-profile hospital in the Baryshivka community recently received a powerful 120 kW generator thanks to support from Serhiy Prytula’s Humanitarian Fund and the Czech charitable initiative Dárek pro Putina.

A modern ambulance has been donated to the Dmytrivska territorial community by German partners from the organisation ‘Sankt Augustin and friends hilft e.V.’.

Zhytomyr oblast

The ‘Social Taxi’ service – a specialised free transport service for people with disabilities and people with reduced mobility – is being actively developed in Zhytomyr oblast. There are currently 12 such services using 13 specially equipped vehicles. This service aims to ensure access to medical facilities, rehabilitation centres, government bodies and other socially important institutions.

In Zhytomyr, on Korolyov Square in the city centre, a memorial walkway is being created to honour those who died in the russian-Ukrainian war. The first flags were erected two years ago on 8 April. As of 8 April 2026, 316 flags have already been installed there. Valentin Golub, a veteran and head of the public organisation “Shield and on the Shield”, made this announcement.

Sumy oblast

Vitalii Sarantsev, Head of the Communications Department of the 14th Army Corps, reported that as of 10am on 12 April, more than 90 violations of the Easter ceasefire by russian forces were recorded within the area of responsibility of the 14th Army Corps. These included FPV drone and Molniya-type UAV strikes, as well as an attempted assault towards settlements in Khotin community.

According to the operational grouping “Kursk”, over the past day russian forces carried out two assault attempts towards Kostiantynivka – Kindrativka in Khotin community, Sumy oblast. The enemy also continued intensive fire against positions of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.

The Operational Grouping “Kursk” informed that russian forces shelled an evacuation team in Sumy oblast during the so-called “Easter ceasefire”. The enemy opened fire on a unit transporting the bodies of the fallen from the battlefield.

On the daytime of 13 April in Bilopillia, russian forces attacked a police vehicle by a drone. One police officer sustained minor injuries and received medical assistance. The service vehicle was damaged and is no longer operational.

According to the RMA, on 13 April, two enterprises were damaged in Shostka as a result of russian UAV strikes. One was attacked during the night and the other during the daytime. Following the latest strike, six multi-storey residential buildings near the impact site were damaged.

The State Emergency Service of Sumy oblast reported that during the night, russian strike UAVs attacked Shostka community. The strike caused significant destruction to a non-residential premises and a large-scale fire.

The Regional Military Administration stated that as a result of russian shelling across the oblast over the past day, 12 April, no civilian casualties were reported.

Over the past day, from the morning of 12 April to the morning of 13 April, russian forces carried out nearly 60 attacks on 15 settlements across 10 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, MLRS, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs. Air raid alerts in the oblast lasted for 11 hours and 35 minutes over the day.

Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:

  • in Shostka community, residential buildings, outbuildings, and non-residential premises were damaged;
  • in Esman community, a private residential house was destroyed;
  • in Hlukhiv community, multi-apartment residential buildings, a non-residential premises, and vehicles were damaged;
  • in Velyka Pysarivka community, a private residential house was destroyed, while other private houses were damaged;
  • in Sumy community, a private house, an outbuilding in a private household, a civilian passenger vehicle, and a civilian infrastructure facility were damaged;
  • in Mykolaivka rural community, a building of an educational institution was damaged.

In Sumy, residents are commemorating the victims of a russian missile strike on the city centre on 13 April 2025. On that Palm Sunday, 35 people were killed and more than 100 were injured, including two children. On the anniversary of the tragedy, residents are bringing flowers and soft toys to the site of the attack to honour the victims.

Chernihiv oblast

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that over the past week, from 6 to 12 April, the Defence Forces shot down 52 russian drones in the skies over Chernihiv oblast.

Dmytro Bryzhynskyi, Head of Chernihiv City Military Administration, said that on 13 March, debris from a russian UAV caused a fire in a forest belt on the outskirts of Chernihiv. The facade of a private house was also damaged.

The Regional Military Administration informed that during the night of 13 April, russian forces attacked an energy facility in Chernihiv region by Heran-type UAVs. A fire broke out at the impact site, and a number of settlements were left without electricity.

According to Halyna Shekhovtsova, Spokesperson of Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, as of midnight on 13 April, no provocations by russian forces were recorded along Chernihiv oblast border. The ceasefire regime was maintained.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that over the past week, 20 civilians were injured as a result of russian shelling. Twenty houses and outbuildings were destroyed or damaged. Additionally, following an enemy strike on a private parking area in Mena, around two dozen units of equipment were destroyed or damaged.

Over the past seven days, 31 people, including two children, left the shelled border areas. Five residents relocated to Kyiv oblast, while the rest remained within the region.

The State Emergency Service informed that over the weekend of 11–12 April, pyrotechnic units in Chernihiv oblast conducted six operations. A total of 1.66 hectares of territory were surveyed, and eight explosive ordnance items were neutralised.

Under the government programme “eRobota”, entrepreneurs in Chernihiv oblast have received 61 grants this year to start their own businesses, totalling UAH 26m.. Additionally, five business ideas from veterans were approved, amounting to more than UAH 2m. This is expected to create 125 new jobs.

“Army of Recovery” project continues in Chernihiv oblast. Over the past week alone, more than 800 people joined the initiative. Public works have been organised in 49 communities across the oblast. Participants weave camouflage nets, clear roadside areas, and take part in community improvement efforts.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast 

Air defence forces destroyed 8 enemy UAVs over the oblast.

Synelnykove region. Yesterday evening, the occupiers struck Slovianka community by an FPV drone. At night, they attacked Vasylkivka community by UAVs. 2 private houses caught fire.

Nikopol region. The russian forces shelled the region by MLRS, artillery and FPV drones, targeting Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrovske rural and Chervonohryhorivka communities. high-rise buildings were damaged.

Nikopol region. The russian forces continued attacking the region by drones and artillery, targeting the regional centre and Marhanets, Pokrovske rural and Chervonohryhorivka communities. 2 outbuildings were destroyed. 2 private houses, a lyceum, 3 vehicles, an administrative building and infrastructure were damaged.

Synelnykove region. The enemy attacked Mezhova and Mykolaivka communities by UAVs. Fires broke out. A cultural centre and infrastructure were damaged.

Kryvyi Rih region. The russian forces struck Zelenodolsk community by an FPV drone. Infrastructure was damaged.

Dnipro. As a result of a UAV strike on Dnipro, 2 women aged 42 and 63 were injured. A fire broke out and infrastructure was damaged.

Vinnytsia Oblast

3 veterans from Vinnytsia will receive vouchers to start or develop their own businesses. Their applications and business plans were approved by a special selection commission. The business ideas vary: production of souvenir goods, development and promotion of an innovative invention (a battery) and tourism. These projects support reintegration into civilian life.

The voucher support program was launched last year to help residents start or expand their businesses and create jobs in Vinnytsia. Due to its success, the program has been expanded this year, including increasing the voucher amount for veterans from UAH 100,000 to 250,000. The support is also available to micro, small and medium-sized businesses for purchasing equipment, implementing IT solutions, producing dual-use goods and other purposes.

Kirovohrad oblast

Andrii Raikovych, Head of Kirovohrad RMA, reported that following a drone attack, a fire broke out at a facility in Kropyvnytskyi region. Emergency services extinguished the fire. There were no casualties or injuries reported.

On 11 April, defender Serhii Berehovyi (born in 1985) from Znamianka was returned from russian captivity. He had spent 4 years in captivity.

Another defender from Kirovohrad oblast, Volodymyr Bets (born in 1989), was also released. He is from Novoihorivka village in Ustynivka community and had been in captivity since 12 April 2022.

In 2 communities of the oblast, residents paid tribute to fallen soldiers: Serhii Khramko from Petrove and Mykola Myron from Hlodosi community.

Serhii Khramko died on 10 April from wounds sustained in combat after 2 months of treatment. He was 46.

Mykola Myron was killed on 6 April during a combat mission near Holubivka in Bakhmut region of Donetsk oblast.

Poltava oblast

Vitalii Diakivnych, Head of Poltava RMA, stated that at night, a UAV fell in an open area in Poltava oblast. Windows of an outbuilding and a residential house were damaged. There were no injuries reported. A woman experienced an acute stress reaction.

The death of Andrii Hets, a resident of Rivne village in Pyriatyn community, has been confirmed. He had been missing since 2 January 2025 and was killed that same day during a combat mission in Donetsk oblast.

Residents of Semenivka community were released from russian captivity. Serhii Borysenko and Viktor Holub (from Bakumivka village) returned home. Also, 3 servicemen from Poltava oblast were released on 11 April, including Mykola Hrytsai from Zavodska community and Dmytro Dvorovyi from Orzhytsia community.

Cherkasy oblast

Serviceman Oleksandr Kokha from Chyhyryn area was killed in Donetsk oblast on 4 April 2026, near Shostakivka village in Kramatorsk region, Donetsk oblast.

In Cherkasy, the community paid tribute to defender Oleksandr Didenko, who was killed in combat in Donetsk oblast.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

On 13 April 2026, at approximately 9:32am, russians struck civilian infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia using a strike UAV. The City Council reported damage to 7 buildings in Oleksandrivskyi district. The head of the Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported that a 17-year-old girl was injured as a result of the russian attack.

According to Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, yesterday, 12 April, the occupiers carried out 456 strikes on 28 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces conducted 3 airstrikes on Novomykolaivka and Yasna Poliana. 431 UAVs of various modifications (mostly FPV) attacked Komyshuvakha, Novooleksandrivka, Novorozivka, Novoiakovlivka, Yasna Poliana, Stepnohirsk, Stepove, Pavlivka, Prymorske, Lukianivske, Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Sviatopetrivka, Pryluky, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka and Olenokostiantynivka. Two MLRS strikes targeted Vozdvyzhivka and Novodanylivka. 20 artillery strikes hit Novoyakovlivka, Stepnohirsk, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Staroukrainka and Olenokostiantynivka. Ten reports were received about damage to infrastructure, residential buildings and vehicles. One woman was injured as a result of an enemy attack in Zaporizhzhia oblast. 

The General Staff reported that on 12 April, despite the Easter “ceasefire”, russians attacked 12 times towards Huliaipole. As of 10pm on 12 April, one battle was still ongoing. It is noted that Ukrainian defenders repelled russian attacks in the areas of Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka and Myrne.

Mykolaiv oblast

According to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, yesterday, 12 April, the enemy attacked Ochakiv and Halytsynove communities four times by FPV drones. There were no casualties reported.

Kherson oblast

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson Regional Military Administration, reported that on 13 April, russians attacked an elderly woman by an FPV drone in Osokorivka village, Novovorontsovka community. At around 11:20am, as a result of an enemy drone strike, the 89-year-old resident sustained fatal injuries.

Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that on 13 April, at approximately 1:20pm, russians attacked a man by a drone in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. He sustained shrapnel wounds to the head and limbs, a concussion, blast injuries and a closed traumatic brain injury.

At approximately 2:30am, russians shelled Komyshany. As a result of the attack, a 64-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman sustained blast injuries, concussions and shrapnel wounds to the torso.

According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, yesterday, 12 April, the russain forces attacked Antonivka, Sadove, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Rozlyv, Novodmytrivka, Novoraisk, Urozhaine, Lvove, Novokairy, Respublikhanets, Tiahynka and the city of Kherson. As a result of the attacks, 2 private houses, a private garage and vehicles were damaged. 2 people were injured due to russian aggression.

Volyn oblast

As part of the implementation of the joint infrastructure international project Waste Management 2025 – Implementation of the Law of Ukraine of 2022 with the support of Nakopa, a program of the international organization Engagement Global, a FUSO CANTER garbage truck with a press, with a carrying capacity of 7.5 tonnes, was delivered to Ivanychivsk settlement territorial community. The cost of the vehicle is EUR 69,900.

Zakarpattia oblast

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with representatives of the Hungarian community, in particular with the military. They also discussed meeting the needs of national communities in education in their native language, the participation of local governments in filling the state budget, and creating conditions for the return home of Ukrainians who were forced to leave abroad due to russian aggression.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA reported that among those released from russian captivity are Vitalii Bilyk from Ivano-Frankivsk region and Mykhailo Danyshchuk from Kosiv region.

Lviv oblast

Ambulances that German volunteers drive for the needs of Mykolaiv were consecrated in Lviv. The consecration ceremony took place in the Cathedral of St. George. The initiators and main organizers are a couple from Lviv, currently living in Hanover.

Rivne oblast

The 3rd evacuation train from Donetsk oblast this year has arrived in Rivne oblast. 15 people who were forced to leave their homes due to the war arrived in the region. All the arrivals are planned to be resettled in settlements of Varasky region.

Ternopil oblast

318 defenders from Ternopil will receive a one-time cash grant to purchase equipment. Since the beginning of the year, 2,184 soldiers from the community have received such assistance.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The military received 26 Dji Matrice 4T 4.5 quadcopters from Khmelnytskyi community.

Chernivtsi oblast

A hotline for support in difficult and crisis situations has been launched in Chernivtsi Regional Emergency Management Agency. This is a new channel of communication between residents of the region and regional authorities, which operates on the principles of accessibility, efficiency and openness.

Germany has extended temporary protection for Ukrainians until 4 March 2027.

Ukrainian veterans took part in the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris, which took place in Paris. The team covered the marathon distance of 42 km in wheelchairs. The participation took place within the framework of initiatives for the development of adaptive sports and rehabilitation of veterans.
