The enemy continues to attempt to attack deep into Ukrainian territory. Defence forces are holding back the occupiers, inflicting significant losses on them. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 74 enemy attacks.
Shelling of border areas continues. Today, a number of settlements were affected, including: Yasna Poliana in Chernihiv oblast; Bezsalivka, Ryzivka, Iskryskivshchyna, Budky, Rohizne, Doroshivka, Seredyna-Buda, Novoivanivka, Kuchervka, Holyshivske, Kharkivka, Bunyachyne, Tovstodubove, and Sorokyne in Sumy oblast.
Towards North Slobozhanske and Kursk, the enemy carried out 34 shellings of settlements and positions of our units. One combat engagement took place.
Towards South Slobozhanske, the enemy attacked five times in the direction of the settlements of Prylipka, Zelene and Vovchansk.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy is trying to advance in the areas of Pishchane and Dovhenke. Combat clashes continue.
Towards Lyman, Ukrainian soldiers repelled attempts by the invaders to advance towards Drobysheve and Novoselivka. One attack continues.
Towards Sloviansk, the occupiers attempted to advance on the positions of our troops towards Ozerne, Dronivka, Zakitne and Platonivka. One of the seven clashes continues.
Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy attacked in Stupochky.
Towards Kostiantynivka, the invaders carried out 10 offensive actions near Kostiantynivka, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Stepanivka, and Illinivka. One attack is still going on.
Towards Pokrovsk, the occupiers have made 32 attempts to dislodge our soldiers from their positions in the areas of Sofiivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetsk, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Ivanivka, Filiia, and Dachne. The defence forces are holding back the offensive, having already repelled 29 attacks.
Towards Oleksandrivka, the aggressor attacked in the direction of Novokhatsk. There are currently no active combat engagements. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Kolomiitsiv and Lisne.
Towards Huliaipole, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 attacks in Huliaipole and towards Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Zelenyi, Zahirne, and Sviatopetrivka. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of Dibrova, Charivne, and Vozdvyzhivka.
Towards Orikhiv, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders once in Mali Shcherbaky.
Towards Kherson, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
No significant changes in the situation have been recorded in other directions. Ukrainian troops are exhausting the enemy along the entire line of combat and in the rear.
Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery and Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, reported that Ukraine has purchased nearly 40 trucks with mobile power equipment: the first deliveries are heading to Kyiv and Kharkiv oblast. Sixteen trucks have been sent to Kyiv. These are four cogeneration units, each with a capacity of 2.3 MW. The cost of the equipment is UAH 241.8m.
In January, DTEK restored electricity to 4.5m households after russian shelling. During the first month of the year, the enemy attacked energy infrastructure almost daily. Despite this, energy companies managed to restore power to millions of consumers: Dnipropetrovsk oblast – 1.7m; Kyiv – 1.3m; Odesa oblast – 547,700; Kyiv oblast – 541,600; Donetsk oblast – 435,900.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
According to the General Staff, the occupiers attacked eight times in the areas of Vovchansk, Starytsia, Prylipka and in the direction of Fyholivka, and carried out another 14 attacks in the direction of Kupiansk, Podoly, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Novoosynove, Nova Kruhliakivka and Novoplatonivka.
The 16th Army Corps stated that towards Kharkiv, 47 occupiers were neutralised and 57 pieces of equipment and weapons were destroyed or damaged in 24 hours. The russian army shelled positions and settlements in the north of Kharkiv oblast 137 times.
Towards South Slobozhanske, the enemy attempted eight times to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Starytsia, Prylipka and in the direction of Fyholivka.
Yesterday, there were 14 enemy attacks towards Kupiansk. Our defenders repelled enemy assaults towards Kupiansk, Podoly, Petropavlivka, Pishchane, Novoosynove, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Novoplatonivka.
At around 10:25am, an FPV drone struck Zolochiv on the road. The strike damaged a VAZ vehicle and windows in two houses.
Over the past day, 10 settlements were hit by enemy strikes. As a result of the shelling, two people were killed, one of them a child; six more people were injured, including a minor girl.
In Bohodukhiv, a 41-year-old woman and a 10-year-old boy were killed, and a 22-year-old man, a 68-year-old man and an 89-year-old woman injured. In Zolochiv, a 17-year-old girl suffered an acute stress reaction; in the village of Luzhok, Mala Danylivka community, an 18-year-old girl and a 73-year-old man were injured.
The enemy actively used various types of weapons in Kharkiv oblast:

▪️6 UAVs of the Geran-2 type;
▪️1 UAV of the Molniya type;
▪️5 FPV drones;

Civil infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:
▪️in Bohodukhiv region, windows of a private house, an administrative building, two apartment buildings, three shops, and a car were damaged (Zolochiv village); nine private houses (Bohodukhiv town);
▪️in Kharkiv region, four private houses, farm buildings (Kozacha Lopan village), a school building, four private houses (Polova village), ten private houses, and four cars (Luzhok village) were damaged;
▪️in Chuhuiv region, a civilian truck (Novoleksandrivka village), a private house fence, and farm buildings (Zarichne village) were damaged.
Oleksandr Hololobov, Head of Mala Danylivka community, showed the consequences of russian strikes on Luzhok on the night of 9 February. According to him, the village has been without electricity since the attack, and in the morning, RES crews are preparing to carry out emergency repair work. Charities will help the villagers with building materials to temporarily close the damaged houses, as well as provide blankets and hygiene kits.

The press service of Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that the woman and 10-year-old boy who died in Bohodukhiv tonight due to a russian drone strike are a mother and son. According to the press service, a 22-year-old man suffered abrasions as a result of the russian attack, while a 68-year-old man and an 89-year-old woman suffered acute stress reactions. The strike took place at 3:55 a.m.
The deaths of three people as a result of russian strikes became known last week. More than 20 people were injured, and 14 suffered acute stress reactions due to the shelling.
Viktor Kovalenko, Head of the Local Civil-Military Administration, stated that at around 7pm, Turove in Zolochiv community was hit by three aerial bombs. He said that 10 private houses, farm buildings and power lines were damaged in the village.
Over the past week, at least 59 settlements in Kharkiv oblast, including the city of Kharkiv, have been hit by enemy strikes. As a result of the shelling, 39 people were injured, including three children: a 5-month-old boy, a 10-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl. Four people were killed, including a 10-year-old boy.

The civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv region suffered the most damage, with 37 private houses, 7 cars, a medical centre, a school and 3 farm buildings damaged.
Significant damage was caused in Izium region: 21 private houses, railway infrastructure, a cultural institution, 2 farm buildings, and 4 cars.
In Kharkiv, the enemy damaged eight apartment buildings, a private house, power grids, shopping pavilions, a warehouse, a transport stop, and two cars.
State Emergency Service units were involved in extinguishing 19 fires caused by enemy shelling. They defused 36 explosive devices.
The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 36 people during the day. A total of 18,400 people have been registered at the point since it began operating.
Over the past day, 312 combat clashes were recorded.
Donetsk oblast
According to the General Staff, russian forces attacked 72 times towards Pokrovsk over the past day, with 64 assaults the day before. Fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetsk, Muravka, Myrnohrad, Filiia, and in the direction of the settlements of Toretsk, Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, Ivanivka, Hryshyne, and Novyi Donbas.
Russian troops carried out 32 attacks towards Kostiantynivka, 22 towards Lyman, and 15 towards Sloviansk.
Serhii Okishev, an officer of the communications department of the 7th Airborne Corps, said that fighting continues in the”grey zone” between Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad. The clashes cover dozens of kilometers, with Russian forces attempting to advance in small assault groups and actively using drones and UAVs.
On the morning of 9 February, russian aircraft carried out an air strike on a residential area of Druzhkivka. Rescuers pulled a woman from the rubble of a building. Emergency services also cleared about 1 tonne of destroyed building structures.

Oleksandr Honcharenko, Head of Kramatorsk Military Administration, reported that on 9 February, russian troops shelled a petrol station in Kramatorsk and a private sector of the community. From 2:35 to 2:50pm, russian troops carried out strikes using two UAVs.

The CMA stnted that the number of wounded rose to six as a result of the strike on Kramatorsk on 8 February: a girl born in 2007, women born in 1947 and 1973, and men born in 1977, 1979 and 1985 were wounded. All of them are receiving medical assistance at local hospitals.

According to the City Military Administration, more than 6,000 people have been evacuated from Druzhkivka since the beginning of the year. Currently, there are about 13,000 residents in the city. There has been no heating since the attack on the gas pipeline on 31 January. The city has been hit by various types of russian drones, and Druzhkivka has also been bombed. Volunteers, the military administration, police and rescue workers are transporting people to safer cities.
The Proliska humanitarian mission is evacuating people from Donetsk oblast. Yevhen Tkachov, Head of the Proliska humanitarian mission, reported that currently, there has been an increase in requests to leave Kramatorsk, Sloviansk, Druzhkivka, Mykolaivka, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, and Osykove.
Leonid Nomerchuk, head of the Volunteer Rescue Service NGO, said that on 9 February, the NGO evacuated six civilians from a village near Dobropillia when a russian army drone “attempted to attack the evacuation crew”.
Luhansk oblast
In schools in Lutuhyne community, russians have organised shooting competitions among teenagers and are conducting propaganda classes. According to Kharchenko, Head of the RMA, school students are being prepared for contract service in the russian Federation.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
According to DTEK, on 9 February, stabilisation schedules for power cuts are planned in Kyiv oblast. The lights will be turned off for 24 hours in all queues.
Ukrainian Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal reported that the situation with electricity supply in the capital remains difficult after massive russian attacks on the night of 7 February. Energy companies continue to repair damaged facilities. On 9 February, an additional 9 MW of generation capacity is planned to be launched in Kyiv. Currently, the largest daily volume of electricity imports is being recorded, which has helped to maintain the system and reduce the deficit.
Alona Shkrum, First Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development, said that heat supply has been restored in Troieschyna district of the capital, which was left without heat after russian shelling. According to her, this is the result of round-the-clock work by emergency crews. There are 840 workers in 176 teams, including 83 teams (345 people) from other regions, Kyiv enterprises and Ukrzaliznytsia.
Valentyn Mondryivskyi, Deputy Head of Kyiv City Military Administration, said that some kindergartens and schools in Kyiv are being merged due to heating problems. This model is already in place in Holosiivskyi, Darnytskyi, Dniprovskyi, and Solomianskyi districts. Children from certain kindergartens are being temporarily transferred to kindergartens that have heating. In schools, the educational process continues in various formats – face-to-face, blended or distance learning.
Nataliia Panchenko, co-organiser of the “Warmth from Poland for Ukraine” campaign, announced that a shipment of 255 generators has arrived in Ukraine from Poland to provide electricity to high-rise buildings and critical infrastructure facilities. Of the total number, 15 generators will remain in Kyiv.
Zhytomyr oblast
In Zhytomyr, a modernised protective structure was opened at the Sunny House Social and Psychological Rehabilitation Centre for Children. A functional space was set up there, where children in difficult life circumstances can continue their rehabilitation even during times of danger. It has all the necessary furniture, a ventilation system, and all the equipment needed for the children staying at the facility. The facility can accommodate up to 50 children at a time.
Sumy oblast
Servicemen of the 14th Army Corps raised the Ukrainian flag in Popivka, Sumy oblast. Popivka is under the control of Ukrainian forces. The 14th Army Corps reported that any attempts by sabotage and reconnaissance groups to cross the border are being repelled. On 6 February, propaganda outlets claimed that Popivka had been occupied.
Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territories Development, said that in Konotop, a russian UAV struck a locomotive that was to be coupled to a passenger train. Near Tereshchenska station in Sumy oblast, the railway track was damaged and traffic was temporarily restricted for repairs. In addition, a UAV hit a service vehicle carrying railway workers to the damaged section of track. One worker was injured and taken to hospital with shrapnel wounds.
At around 10:30pm on 8 February, the russian army struck Krolevets. As a result of the attack, a private residential house was destroyed. At the time of Shahed strike, a married couple were in the garage.
According to Oleh Hryhorov, Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, on 8 February, the russian army attacked a civilian vehicle in Stetskivka starosta district of Sumy community. Two civilians were injured — a 19-year-old driver and a 16-year-old passenger.
On the evening of 8 February the Regional Military Administration informed that following another russian attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, strict electricity consumption restrictions have been in place in Sumy oblast for a second consecutive day, as across the country. Both emergency and scheduled hourly outages are being applied.
As a result of russian shelling over the past day, seven civilians were injured in the oblast:
- In Shostka community, women aged 25 and 35 and men aged 34 and 36 were injured after an enemy UAV strike.
- In Sumy community, a 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl were injured in an enemy drone attack.
- In Komyshany community, a 33-year-old man was injured as a result of a UAV strike.
Over the course of the day, from the morning of 8 February to the morning of 9 February, russian forces carried out nearly 90 attacks on 28 settlements across 15 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, MLRS, FPV drones, UAVs, and guided aerial bombs. Over the day, air raid alerts in the oblast lasted for 22 hours and 39 minutes.
Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged or destroyed:
- In Shostka community, a shop, a catering facility, an outbuilding, and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
- In Sumy community, private households and a private passenger vehicle were damaged;
- In Bilopillia community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
- In Komyshany community, non-residential premises and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
- In Krolevets community, a civilian infrastructure facility and private residential houses were damaged;
- In Znob-Novhorodske community, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
According to the State Emergency Service, over the past week, pyrotechnic units in Sumy oblast destroyed six items of ordnance. Hazardous objects were found in Sumy, Konotop, Okhtyrka, and Shostka regions. Since the beginning of the year, 35 incidents involving the discovery of explosive devices have been recorded in Sumy oblast.
Chernihiv oblast
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that over the course of the week from 2 to 8 February, the Defence Forces of Ukraine destroyed 185 aerial targets over Chernihiv oblast.
Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, said that at around 4am on 9 February, russian forces attacked Novhorod-Siverskyi town by a strike UAV. Residential areas were hit. One man was killed and four other people were injured.
According to Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the RMA, in Chernihiv oblast, on 8 February, explosions caused by russian UAVs set fire to a non-operational school building in a village of Menska community.
Ukrzaliznytsia informed that from 10 February, some suburban trains in Chernihiv oblast will be temporarily suspended due to the impact of hostilities. The restrictions concern the Bakhmach–Snovsk route.
Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment reported that over the course of 8 February, russian forces attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (two explosions), launched UAV strikes (five strikes), and conducted FPV drone attacks (seven explosions). The towns of Semenivka and Snovsk, as well as five villages, came under fire.
Novhorod-Siverskyi town territorial community stated that in the town, 9 and 10 February were declared Days of Mourning for Mykhailo Kosenko, who was killed during the night of 9 February as a result of a russian attack on the town. Mykhailo Kosenko was killed in his own home after a russian UAV strike. He had limited mobility. His wife managed to escape through a window.
The Regional Military Administration announced that on 9 February, nine generators of various capacities were handed over to foster families and a family-type children’s home in Chernihiv oblast by British partners,. The generators were delivered to eight foster families and one family-type children’s home in Mensk, Sosnytsia, Koriukivka, Ponornytsia, Semenivka, and Kyinka communities.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Synelnykove region. The russian forces struck Shakhtarske village by UAVs. 9 people were injured, including a 13-year-old girl. An apartment building caught fire. Several high-rise buildings and a garage were damaged. Also, the enemy targeted Vasylkivka community by UAVs. A private house caught fire; in total, 3 houses were damaged.
Nikopol region. The enemy attacked the regional centre, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities, by drones and artillery.
Nikopol region. The russian forces again attacked the area by drones and artillery, targeting the regional centre, Pokrovske, Chervonohryhorivka, Myrove and Marhanets communities. A 59-year-old man was injured and received the necessary medical assistance. Nearly 10 private houses were damaged, along with 4 outbuildings, a farm, an administrative building, infrastructure facilities, 3 greenhouses, solar panels and a power line.
Synelnykove region. As a result of a UAV attack in Vasylkivka community, 2 women aged 71 and 63 were injured. They received the necessary assistance. One private house was destroyed, and 13 damaged.
Kryvyi Rih region. The russian occupiers struck Zelenodolsk community by a UAV. Damage was recorded on the territory of a private household.
Dnipro. The russian military struck Dnipro city and Sviatovasylivka community. A fire broke out. There were no casualties reported.
Vinnytsia oblast
As a result of an enemy attack on 7 February, nearly 724,000 consumers in Vinnytsia oblast were left without electricity. According to the Regional Energy Company, due to strikes on energy infrastructure, 1,339 out of 1,504 settlements in the oblast were without power. Restoration works are ongoing.
Kirovohrad oblast
In Novoarkhanhelsk, Holovanivsk region, a memorial ceremony was held for serviceman Yevhen Shkabara. The soldier was killed in Kursk oblast at the age of 32. His death occurred on 29 December 2024 during combat near Makhnivka village, Sudzha region.
Poltava oblast
In Poltava, memorial ceremonies were held for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Oleksandr Hovoryshchev, Dmytro Potaskaiev and Volodymyr Prapirnyi.
Oleksandr Hovoryshchev died on 28 January 2026 at the National Military Medical Clinical Center in Kyiv.
Dmytro Potaskaiev was killed on 29 January 2026 while carrying out a combat mission in Zaporizhzhia oblast.
Volodymyr Prapirnyi was killed on 1 February 2026 during military service in Chernihiv oblast.
Memorial ceremonies will be held for servicemen Ruslan Puilo and Leonid Bilokon, natives of Kremenchuk and Novosanzhary communities. They were killed while performing combat missions.
In Kremenchuk, UAH 3.999m was allocated for the purchase of diesel generators for the ME Teploenerho. An additional UAH 2.68m will be allocated for diesel fuel.
Cherkasy oblast
Oleh Tsiupka, a soldier from Smila, was killed in Donetsk oblast while carrying out a combat mission. This occurred on 15 April 2024.
In Uman community, a day of mourning was declared in connection with the death of defender Oleksandr Snitkovskyi, who was killed while performing a combat mission.
In Kaniv, a day of mourning was declared following the death of defender Oleksandr Zapotitskyi. He was unable to overcome illnesses acquired during the performance of his service duties. On 26 January 2026, his heart stopped in hospital. He was 52 years old.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
According to Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, yesterday, 8 February, the occupiers carried out 499 strikes on 24 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces conducted 11 air strikes on Liubytske, Barvinivka, Nizhenka, Zelena Dibrova, Kopani, and Vozdvyzhivka. 298 UAVs of various types, mostly FPV drones, attacked Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Dorozhnianka, Varvarivka, Zelene, Solodke, Dobropillia, and Pryluky. Four MLRS strikes hit Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, and Dobropillia. 186 artillery strikes targeted Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohiria, Dorozhnianka, Varvarivka, Zelene, Solodke, Dobropillia, and Pryluky. Sixteen reports were received about damage to homes and infrastructure facilities.
The press service of the State Emergency Service in Zaporizhzhia oblast reported that over the past day, 8 February, a fire broke out and a private house caught fire as a result of a russian attack in Zaporizhzhia region. There were no fatalities or injuries.
The General Staff reported that as of 4pm on 9 February, Ukrainian defenders repelled 12 attacks in the area of Huliaipole, Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Zelene, Zahirne, and Sviatopetrivka towards Huliaipole. The enemy attacked Ukrainian defensive positions once in the area of Mali Shcherbaky towards Orikhiv. Over the past day, 8 February, russian forces carried out 29 attacks on Ukrainian positions towards Huliaipole.
Mykolaiv oblast
Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration reported that yesterday, 8 February, the enemy attacked Ochakiv community six times with FPV drones. There were no casualties.
Odesa oblast
Odesa Regional Military Administration reported that on the night of 9 February, the russian army carried out a massive drone attack on Odesa and the region.Civilian infrastructure was heavily damaged: residential buildings, offices, and shops were damaged, windows were shattered, and vehicles were destroyed or damaged. One person was killed and two others were injured.

Doctor of Biological Sciences and head of the research department of Tuzlivski Lymany National Park, Ivan Rusiev, reported that after the storm on 6 February, 2026, the shoreline of Tuzlivski Lymany National Park was covered with sunflower oil residues over an area of about 10,000 sq m. The oil was drifting in the Black Sea after russian attacks on the port in the city of Pivdenne on 20 December. Most of the oil has thickened and settled on the bottom of Odesa Bay, but the remaining residue continues to move through the sea and contaminate shorelines far from the site of the incident.
Odesa Regional Military Administration also reported that the region received another important humanitarian aid shipment — 50 generators for communities from the Southeast European Cooperation Initiative (SECI). They will be distributed among communities in the near future according to their needs.
Kherson oblast
Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that at around 8pm on 9 February, russian military forces attacked a teenager and his father with a UAV in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. They were diagnosed with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds.
According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, three people sought medical assistance today after being injured in russian attacks. A resident of Bilozerka, injured in russian shelling yesterday morning, was hospitalized with a blast injury and concussion. A 52-year-old woman from Kherson sustained a blast injury due to russian shelling in the central part of Kherson the previous night. A Kherson resident who was injured during russian shelling of central Kherson on the night of 7 February also sustained a blast injury.
Police of Kherson oblast reported that yesterday, 8 February, the russian forces attacked Kherson, Antonivka, Stanislav, Kizomys, Zymivnyk, Dariivka, Dniprovske, Bilozerka, Prydniprovske, Chornobaivka, Shyroka Balka, Oleksandrivka, Beryslav, Nova Kamianka, Novoraivsk, Dudchany, Burhunka, Mykolaivka, Kozatske, and Vesele. As a result of the shelling, 40 sites were damaged, including three apartment buildings and 30 private houses, critical infrastructure facilities, two medical institutions, a village council building, a gas pipeline, and a vehicle. Six people were injured as a result of russian aggression.
According to Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson RMA, Ukrainian units destroyed nearly two thousand drones over the course of the week that russian forces used to attack the right bank of Kherson oblast. In total, russian forces launched 2,153 drones at the right bank over the week. Ukrainian defenders destroyed 92% of the UAVs, or 1,994 drones.
The 11th Separate Army Aviation Brigade “Kherson” reported the death of a Mi-24 helicopter crew. It was reported that the crew did not return from a combat mission.
Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that a mobile kindergarten for preschool children began operating in Velyka Oleksandrivka community. A significant number of educational institutions in Kherson oblast were damaged or destroyed due to russian aggression so the “kindergarten on wheels” format became an effective solution to support children in settlements where stationary facilities are currently not functioning. Inside the specially equipped bus, textbooks, modern educational games, sports equipment, and functional furniture were installed.

According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, over the past week the Fortitude mobile clinic provided medical assistance to more than 280 residents of the Vysokopillia and Velyka Oleksandrivka communities. Appointments took place in Tverdomedove, Novodmytrivka, Starosillia, Mala Oleksandrivka, and Novopetrivka.
The Human Rights Center reported that in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson oblast, schoolchildren of “Kakhovka region” were forced to write greeting cards to russian military personnel. Ukrainian children were made to create cards in the shape of frontline triangles decorated with Z symbols, the russian tricolor, and Soviet stars. In the texts, the students were required to express “pride and gratitude” to the occupiers and wish them a “swift return with victory.”

Volyn oblast
Novovolynsk City Council reported that at night, the russians struck again at an energy facility in Volyn. The city’s water is supplied from the electricity grid, and the treatment plants are operating on generators, as are some boiler houses.

The RMA reported that 48 families of military personnel and veterans received loans under the Own Home program in 2025.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
For 2 days, Ivano-Frankivsk RMA team worked in communities in the Carpathian region that had suffered from enemy shelling. Specialists quickly assessed the extent of the damage in order to provide people with the necessary assistance.
Lviv oblast
UAH 32m was collected in Lviv oblast to strengthen the soldiers. This happened during an auction from the Birds of Victory charity project. The event united 13 communities of Strii region and socially responsible businesses of the oblast.
24 soldiers from all over Ukraine set off from Lviv oblast to the Holy Mount Athos. The fifth journey within the framework of the Spiritual Victory project has started. The initiative has already covered more than a hundred Ukrainian servicemen with trips for spiritual and emotional recovery.
Rivne oblast
During an operational meeting in Rivne, the regional and city authorities heard about measures to support people and restore civilian infrastructure destroyed by the russians. In apartment buildings that were damaged as a result of yesterday’s attack on Rivne oblast, damaged windows have been replaced. Next up is the installation of a new roof in one of the buildings. Municipal services are working on the ground.
Ternopil oblast
There are 15 heating points in Ternopil in different neighborhoods of the city. All of them are equipped with generators, heat, internet and water, and operate around the clock or on special schedules for the safety of citizens. At the heating points, all Ternopil residents can warm up, charge their phones and drink tea.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi community sent 100 fiber optic FPV drones, 13-inch and 10-inch with a 20 km coil worth UAH 2.5m to the Defense Forces.
Chernivtsi oblast
Kitsman urban territorial community reported that Oleksii Ternovetsky, soldier from Bukovina, from the village of Klivodyn, was killed in the war. The soldier of the Military Unit 9937 was killed in the area of the settlement of Shabelne, Vovchansky urban community, Chuhuyiv region, Kharkiv oblast.
