What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:   

On 5 February, there were 56 combat clashes on the frontline.

From the territory of the russian federation, the enemy launched artillery attacks on Kliusy, Khrinivka in Chernihiv oblast; Rohizne, Iskryskivshchyna, Kucherivka, Kysla Dubyna, Studenok, Myshutyne in Sumy oblast.

Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, the enemy made one attack attempt, 43 attacks on settlements and positions of Ukrainian units, in particular two from multiple launch rocket systems.

Towards Southern Sloboda, the enemy attacked twice in the vicinity of ​​the settlement of Vovchansk.

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy is trying to advance towards Kupiansk, the combat clashes are currently ongoing.

Towards Lyman, Ukrainian soldiers repelled six attacks by the invaders in the vicinity of the settlements of Drobysheve, Zarichne, Stavki, and Dibrova. One clash is currently ongoing.

Towards Slaviansk, russians twice tried to advance on the positions of Ukrainian troops towards Zakitne.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations.

Towards Kostiantynivka, the invaders carried out 12 offensive operations near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Yablunivka, Rusyn Yar, Kleban-Byk, Kostyantynivka, Ivanopillia, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka. Three attacks are still ongoing.

Towards Pokrovsk, russian occupiers made 21 attempts to push Ukrainian soldiers from the occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Kotlyne, Udachne, Filiia, Novopidhorodne, Novopavlivka, and Novyi Donbas. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelled 15 attacks.

Towards Oleksandrivka, the aggressor attacked twice near Zlahoda and Oleksandrohrad. One engagement is currently ongoing. Airstrikes with guided bombs were carried out on Zelena Dolyna, Levadne, and Orly.

Towards Huliaipole, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine attacks by the occupiers in the vicinity of Huliaipilske, Myrne, Dobropilske, Zaliznychne, and Pryluky. One engagement is still ongoing. In addition, enemy aircraft struck the settlements of Barvinivka, Rizdvianka, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Hirke, Kopani, and Vozdvizhivka.

Towards Orikhiv, no enemy offensive actions have been recorded so far.

Towards Kherson, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy attack.

In other areas, there were no significant changes in the situation.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Viktor Trehubov, Head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Group, reports that due to the frost in Kharkiv oblast, it has become easier for russian troops to cross water obstacles. At the same time, the cold weather is making it difficult to move, as well as the use of drones.

Towards Southern Sloboda, Ukrainian troops knocked out a russian 300 mm multiple launch rocket system Tornado-S. Earlier, the spokeswoman for the regional prosecutor’s office, Valeria Chirina, reported that Kharkiv was attacked with Tornado-S MLRSs with cluster munitions on the night of February 4.

There were 133 combat clashes in the oblast.

Towards Southern Sloboda, the enemy tried four times to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian defenders, towards the settlements of Prylipka, Vovchansk, Hrafske and Vovchanski Khutory.

Viktor Trehubov, Head of the communications department of the Joint Forces Group, reports that russian forces in Kupiansk are concentrated in one block. Previously, there were several groups of occupiers in the city, but now there is only one.

Towards Kupiansk, there were five enemy attacks yesterday. Ukrainian defenders repelled the enemy’s assault actions towards Kupiansk and Kindrashivka.

Regional police spokeswoman Aliona Sobolevska, on the morning of 5 February, the russian military used the Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system to strike Kharkiv.

Stepan Maselskyi, head of the RMA, says that russia struck Bakhtin with a Lancet missile in the Borivska community: two women were slightly injured. The strike also damaged a civilian car, an emergency medical service car, and Ukrposhta. The russian attack in Bakhtin occurred next to the delivery of humanitarian aid.

Mayor of Lozova, Serhii Zelenskyi, says that russia attacked critical infrastructure in Lozova community – more than 3 thousand consumers were left without water.

Over the past day, there were 8 settlements in the oblast hit by enemy strikes. There were no casualties as a result of the shelling.

The enemy actively used various types of weapons in the Kharkiv region:

Civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:

▪️In Kupiansk region, a private house was damaged (Sadovod village);

▪️In Izium region, 5 private houses and a cultural institution were damaged (Bakhtyn village);

▪️In Kharkiv region, an outbuilding was damaged (village Manchenky), 5 summer houses (village Smorodske);

▪️In Chuhuiv region, a car was damaged (village Pechenyhi), a warehouse (village Bilyi Kolodiaz).

Andrii Kanashevich, Head of Kupiansk RMA, reports that in Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, a man was killed as a result of a strike, probably by an FPV drone: the hit occurred on January 31 at the entrance to the crossing over the Oskil River. The man’s death became known on February 4.

The RMA press service reported that over the past week, amid power outages and frosts, almost 10 thousand people used the services of Kharkiv region’s emergency response points. Currently 781 points are operating in the region, another 55 are ready to start work within two hours, and the region can also deploy 354 heating points.

The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 99 people per day. In total, 18,174 people have been registered at the Point since it began operating.

Over 19 hectares of Kharkiv oblast were demined in a week. In particular, about 9 hectares of forest land, almost 3.5 kilometers of power lines and over a kilometer of railway tracks were surveyed.

Donetsk oblast

Maksym Belousov, Head of the communications department of the 60th Motorized Rifle Brigade, reports that Ukrainian military personnel have recorded an intensification of russian tactics of infiltration by small groups, which allows the russian army to erode defenses and suddenly appear near Ukrainian positions. At the same time, the russian federation is increasingly throwing fighters into assaults, the training period of which has been reduced from a month to two weeks, and mercenaries from other countries are being massively recruited into the units.

The General Staff said that the russian military attacked 29 times towards Pokrovsk in the past day, and the day before there were 35 assaults. The fighting was fought near Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Molodetske, Filiia and Vilne. Towards Sloviansk, Ukrainian defenders stopped 13 attempts by the invaders, towards Kostiantynivka – 10.

The RMA reported that at 17:05, russian troops used a drone to shell a house in the private sector of Kramatorsk community.

The State Emergency Service in the Donetsk region reported that on February 5, a fire department was damaged in Sloviansk as a result of shelling.

Vadim Lyakh, Head of the State Emergency Service, says that at about 11 a.m. on February 5, Russian troops hit an industrial zone in the city of Slovyansk with two GABs. There were no deaths or injuries.

On February 4, russia launched 1,858 strikes on the front line and residential areas of the region.

9 settlements were under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Mykolaivka, the villages of Raihorodok, Oleksandrivka, the villages of Dobropillia, Kindrativka, and Malynovka.

26 civilian objects were destroyed, including 16 residential buildings.

russians struck Druzhkivka with two GAB-250 bombs, Smerch MLRS, and drones, killing 7 civilians and injuring 17 more. 2 apartment buildings and 3 private houses, a market, and 4 civilian cars were damaged.

One person was killed in Lyman.

The enemy directed five drones at Kramatorsk – one person was injured, a boiler room, a stadium, an excavator and a car were damaged.

Mykolaivka was attacked by three drones – a civilian was injured, an apartment building and a private house were damaged, and an administrative building was damaged.

As a result of the FPV drones hitting it, one person was injured in Kindrativka and one in the village of Dobropillia.

russian troops dropped a 250-kilogram air bomb on Malinivka – 6 private houses were damaged. In Oleksandrivka and Raihorodok, one private house was damaged by drone strikes.

The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported that most of the Ukrainian servicemen released today were captured during the defense of Mariupol. The 139 Ukrainian citizens released today had been in russian captivity since 2022.

Pavlo Diachenko, spokesman for the regional police, reports that evacuation from Kostiantynivka and Lyman remains one of the most difficult in Donetsk oblast. Police officers record isolated but regular returns of families with children to frontline cities. People motivate this by wanting to get things or “just stay home.” But very often the next day they call with a request to return for them again.

Activists of the Yellow Ribbon movement held an action and reminded of the Ukrainian resistance in occupied Donetsk, Horlivka, Mariupol and Perevalsk, placing poems, yellow ribbons and leaflets on the streets of the cities.

Luhansk oblast

The invaders tried to advance towards Lyman and Sloviansk 19 times. They looked for weak spots in the defense of Ukrainian soldiers near nine settlements. In Luhansk oblast, mortars were fired on eight occasions. russians carried out combat missions with 13 drones.

In a month, from March 1, the so-called “lpr” is announcing an increase in the price of gasoline and diesel fuel. The prices will increase by at least 20%. The oil country is in no way going to save the regions, and even more so the occupied territories. At the same time, they are already preparing for an increase in prices for food and non-food products, an increase in tariffs in the service sector and public transport. The invaders are on the verge of another wave of inflation.

In Sievierskodonetsk, most specialists do not have free consultation hours at all, or they are listed in the schedule only as a formality. For example, it is practically impossible to get to an endocrinologist, otolaryngologist, neuropathologist, and others at the local clinic. At the same time, an appointment for a paid consultation is always open. Despite numerous complaints, the local occupiers are satisfied with this situation.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

On the night of February 5, russian troops attacked Kyiv oblast with strike drones. In the Vyshhorod region, a man was injured as a result of the attack. He has a shrapnel injury to the chest. A private house was also damaged.

KCMA reported that in Kyiv, two elderly women were injured as a result of the russian attack, one of them was hospitalized in a medical facility. The consequences and damage were recorded at four locations. In Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire broke out on the roof of an office building, and windows in a nearby 9-story building were also broken. In Obolonskyi district, cars were burning in the parking lot, 2 cars were damaged. In Darnytskyi district, fragments of a UAV fell on the adjacent territory. In Solomyanskyi district, parts of a UAV fell near a shopping center, and windows in 3 adjacent residential buildings were also broken.

KCMA reported that in Kyiv, more than a thousand houses remain without heating, the KMVA reported. In some, the systems have been merged. The search for a solution to provide these houses with electricity is ongoing. More than 230 teams, including those from other regions, are working to eliminate the consequences of enemy shelling and restore heat supply.

In Dniprovskyi district of the capital, there is no heating and electricity as a result of russian shelling. Four tent camps – “Alaska” complexes – have been set up for residents. According to Head of the RDA Andrii Paladiy, a mobile stove is working on the territory of the camps, heating is provided. Inside, tables and benches are equipped, there are sockets, children’s areas and the ability to prepare hot drinks.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk arrived in Kyiv. He honored the memory of the fallen Ukrainian defenders near St. Michael’s Cathedral and visited the Polish military cemetery on the territory of the National Historical and Memorial Reserve “Bykivnyanski Mohyly”. Kyiv and Warsaw have signed a letter of intent for joint production in the defense-industrial complex.

Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of the CMA, said that a general practice family medicine clinic has been restored in Bohdanivka, Brovary region. In March 2022, this clinic was damaged and actually destroyed by russians. The clinic has a solid fuel boiler room, battery stations, which allow the institution to function regardless of external circumstances. The premises also have the simplest shelter, which can be used by patients, institution staff, and residents of surrounding buildings.

Kyiv City Administration reported that Kyiv has received the first batch of 177 generators from the European Union. The city will send them mainly for connection to individual heating points in buildings where there is such a possibility. The generators were provided from the EU’s strategic reserve of civil protection assets – rescEU through the Emergency Response Coordination Centre. Another 41 generators are expected to arrive on February 6.

Zhytomyr oblast

If necessary, stationary emergency shelters in Zhytomyr can be switched to 24-hour operation with sleeping accommodations. Emergency shelters can also start operating after 6 hours of life support systems being turned off during sub-zero temperatures. Such changes to the operation of emergency shelters were made by a decision of the executive committee of Zhytomyr City Council on February 4, 2026. It is expected that the shelters will be able to accommodate from 100 to 300 people, but if necessary and the community has the means, the number can be increased.

Tallinn Mayor Peeter Raudsepp said that the Estonian capital has sent dozens of power generators and heat guns to help Zhytomyr oblast. The total cost of the entire batch is about 40 thousand euros.

Sumy oblast

Viktor Trehubov, Head of Communications of the Joint Forces Grouping, reported that russian troops attempted to entrench themselves in border settlements in the east of Sumy oblast, including near the settlement of Hrabovske, but failed to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory.

Oleksii Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territories Development, said that russian forces struck railway infrastructure in Shostka and Okhtyrka regions. Enemy drones hit a railway station in the Okhtyrka district, damaging technical facilities and tracks. Restoration works are under way.

In Shostka region, a female railway worker on duty at a station came under shelling and received medical assistance. The strike also hit a “Resilience Wagon” deployed in the community to provide heating for residents. People were sheltering at the time of the attack. Railway buildings and a locomotive were damaged.

Mykola Noha, Head of the community, informed that enemy drones attacked infrastructure facilities in Voronizh starosta region and in Shostka overnight on 5 February. Outbuildings and vehicles were damaged. As a result of the attacks on the community, two women and a man were injured.

According to Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar, at around 02:30am, a russian Heran-2 drone struck the courtyard of a multi-storey residential building in Zarichnyi district of Sumy. The attack shattered more than 50 windows in the apartment block and damaged 11 vehicles. The Alley of Remembrance for fallen defenders was also damaged.

Enemy drones are deliberately targeting civilians in Velyka Pysarivka and on the outskirts of the settlement, selecting locations near shops. Liudmyla Biriukova, Head of the community, warned residents about the danger posed by so-called “loitering drones” and urged them to exercise caution.

The Regional Military Administration reported that on the evening of 4 February, the enemy attacked Sumy community by UAVs. On the outskirts of the city, debris from a hostile drone struck a civilian vehicle, injuring a 59-year-old driver. The man was taken to a medical facility.

Oleh Hryhorov, Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, said that on 4 February, the russian army struck a civilian car with a drone in Znob-Novhorodske community. A family — a man, a woman, and their daughter — was inside the vehicle. All three were injured, with the 66-year-old woman sustaining severe injuries.

In Seredyna-Buda community, a 42-year-old man was injured as a result of a drone attack.

In Shostka community, a UAV attack injured women aged 55 and 31, as well as a 30-year-old man.

A 55-year-old man who had been critically wounded on 2 February in Verkhnia Syrovatka community after a hostile drone struck a civilian lorry died in hospital.

Over the past 24 hours, from the morning of 4 February to the morning of 5 February, russian forces carried out nearly 120 attacks on 39 settlements across 19 territorial communities of the oblast. The highest number of attacks was recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy used mortars, artillery, FPV drones, UAVs, guided aerial bombs, and carried out a missile strike. Air raid alerts in the oblast lasted for 20 hours and 38 minutes.

Civilian infrastructure was damaged or destroyed as follows:

  • In Velyka Pysarivka community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
  • In Konotop community, a civilian infrastructure facility, administrative buildings, premises of an educational institution, a multi-storey residential building, and private houses were damaged;
  • In Sumy community, civilian infrastructure facilities, an administrative building, multi-storey residential buildings, private houses, and private passenger vehicles were damaged;
  • In Znob-Novhorodske community, a civilian infrastructure facility and a private passenger vehicle were damaged;
  • In Krasnopillia community, a private residential house was damaged;
  • In Shostka community, civilian infrastructure facilities, an administrative building, residential premises, private houses, non-residential buildings, and vehicles were damaged;
  • In Trostianets community, non-residential buildings and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged;
  • In Seredyna-Buda community, civilian infrastructure facilities and an outbuilding containing household and farming equipment were damaged;
  • In Svesa community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged;
  • In Hlukhiv community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

The Integra Charitable Foundation delivered two generators with a capacity of 250 kW each to Sumy oblast from Slovak partners. The total value of the equipment is EUR 93,000. The generators will ensure stable operation of municipal utilities in Sumy and Romny and help thousands of residents endure the winter.

Chernihiv oblast

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported that in January 2026, air defence forces shot down 824 russian strike drones over Chernihiv oblast, with nearly 700 UAVs lost due to electronic or navigational failure. In total, 2,224 drones entered the oblast’s airspace. According to him, a significant share of the UAVs were neutralised by Ukrainian-made interceptor drones.

Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, said that on 5 February, russian forces shelled a residential area of Semenivka. As a result of a strike by an attack UAV, a house sustained severe damage and caught fire.

Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment informed that over the course of 4 February, russian forces attacked four border communities of Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk. The enemy carried out mortar shelling (six explosions) and MLRS strikes (35 explosions), launched one Molniya-type UAV, carried out 12 FPV drone attacks, and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (six explosions). Semenivka town and 11 villages came under fire.

According to Viacheslav Chaus, during a visit to Ukraine, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte travelled to Chernihiv oblast. He visited one of the damaged energy facilities in the oblast, a resilience centre in Chernihiv, and a school basement in Yahidne village, where russian troops held 367 residents hostage for nearly a month. Mark Rutte also met with servicemen of the 105th Border Guard Detachment named after Prince Volodymyr the Great.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk RMA, reported that the enemy shelled the regional centre and Marhanets, Pokrovske and Chervonohryhorivka communities by artillery and drones. According to updated information, an enterprise was damaged in Marhanets as a result of yesterday’s drone strike. In Yuriivka community, a gymnasium was damaged by a UAV attack. The occupiers attacked Petropavlivka, Vasylkivka and Pokrovske communities by UAVs. Destroyed houses, an outbuilding and an administrative building caught fire. An enterprise, vehicles, equipment, a private house and 3 outbuildings were damaged.

As a result of artillery shelling in Nikopol, an 81-year-old woman was killed. In total, the occupiers used artillery and drones against the regional centre and Marhanets, Pokrovske and Chervonohryhorivka communities. 2 private houses, an outbuilding, a power line, an enterprise and a gas pipeline were damaged.

The enemy struck the area by GABs and drones, targeting Pokrovske and Mykolaivka communities. A 25-year-old man was injured. A fire broke out, with a private house and an outbuilding burning. A private house, a vehicle, and an excavator were damaged.

As a result of a UAV attack in Zelenodolsk community, solar panels were damaged.

Vinnytsia oblast

During a prisoner exchange, a serviceman from Vinnytsia oblast, Ivan Bakun, was released from russian captivity. He had been held in captivity for almost 4 years.

Kirovohrad oblast

During the exchange with russian captivity, servicemen Oleksandr Barannyk and Oleh Rybalka from Oleksandriia community of Kirovohrad oblast were returned. They had been held captive since 2022.

Poltava oblast

During the prisoner exchange on 5 February, 43-year-old serviceman Oleksii Pushkar returned to Ukraine. He is a resident of Shepelivka village, Hlobyno community. The serviceman had been in captivity for nearly 3 years.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

According to Zaporizhzhia RMA, russian forces attacked Bilenke village by FPV drones. As a result of the shelling, a fire broke out in a private house. There were no casualties or injuries reported.

Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, 2 people were injured as a result of a russian attack by guided aerial bombs on Shevchenkivske, Zaporizhzhia oblast.

Based on the information provided by the State Emergency Service, russian troops struck a fire station in one of the frontline settlements of Zaporizhzhia oblast. There were no casualties or injuries reported. The attack damaged firefighting equipment, the roof of the building and shattered doors and windows.

Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that 12 defenders from Zaporizhzhia oblast returned home today as part of a prisoner exchange between Ukraine and russia. Almost all of them had been held in captivity since 2022.

Referring to Zaporizhzhia RMA, on 4 February, russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions on Huliaipole region 17 times. Fighting took place in the areas of Solodke and Huliaipole, as well as towards Nove Zaporizhzhia and Zaliznychne.

The RMA reported that on 4 February, russian forces carried out more than 786 strikes on the territory of 30 cities and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. In particular, 533 UAVs of various types, predominantly FPV drones, attacked Zaporizhzhia, Matviivka, Tavriiske, Bilenke Pershe, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Lukianivske, Pavlivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Vozdvyzhivka, Ternuvate, Zelene, Solodke and Nove Zaporizhzhia. 3 people were injured as a result of russian attacks on Polohy region.

Relying on the information provided by the State Emergency Service, on 4 February, a fire occurred in Zaporizhzhia region as a result of a russian attack. In one of the settlements, the ceiling and an extension of a grocery store were on fire.

The Regional Police Department informed that on 4 February, 2 women and 3 men were evacuated from Polohy region. The evacuees were taken from the settlements of Novosoloshyne and Omelnyk.

Mykolaiv oblast

According to Mykolaiv RMA, today, russian drones attacked a fire station in Mykolaiv oblast, damaging a warehouse and a service vehicle.

On 4 February, russian forces attacked Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities of Mykolaiv oblast 13 times by FPV drones. A private house was damaged.

Odesa oblast

According to the Air Command South, on 4 February, russian forces attacked Odesa oblast by an Kh-31P anti-radiation missile and an Iskander-M ballistic missile.

Kherson oblast

Based on the information provided by Kherson RMA, on 4 February, as a result of russian aggression, 4 people were killed and 5 injured. The settlements of Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Zelenivka, Bilozirka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Kizomys, Yantarne, Dniprovske, Oleksandrivka, Tomyna Balka, Mykilske, Darivka, Poniativka, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Charivne, Novoraisk, Urozhaine, Ukrainka, Chervone, Fedorivka, Burhunka, Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Osokorivka, Lvivske, Novooleksandrivka, Odradokamianka, Respublikanets, Sablukivka, Tiahynka, Vesele and Kherson were under enemy drone terror, air strikes and artillery shelling.

The russian forces targeted critical and social infrastructure, residential areas of populated settlements in the oblast. As a result, 3 high-rise buildings and 14 private houses were damaged. Also, the occupiers damaged a warehouse, trolleybuses and private vehicles. Yesterday, one person was evacuated from liberated communities of the oblast.

Volyn oblast

Among those released from captivity are soldiers from Volyn oblast. Hryniuk Serhii, born in 1971, from Starosillia, Lutsk region, Zholob Andrii, born in 1978, the city of Lyuboml, Khomiak Maksym from the city of Volodymyr, and Kosiuk Vitaliy, Izov station, Volodymyr regin.

Zakarpattia oblast

The RMA reported that among those released from captivity is a soldier who was forced to leave his native Toretsk, Donetsk oblast due to the war and moved to Zakarpattia oblast with his family.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA reported that among those released from captivity is Serhii Kharchii from Kalush region.

Lviv oblast

In January 2026, the team of Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine helped 59 patients and 26 accompanying persons to receive treatment abroad. After completing treatment, 34 patients and 6 accompanying persons safely returned to Ukraine. In total, 59 trips were made within the framework of the MEDEVAC project during this period.

The 1st lift to the Philharmonic stage in Ukraine has been put into operation in Lviv. It has already been tested by students of the Dzherelo Social Services Center. This is an important technical solution not only for visitors, but also for the staff, because among the Philharmonic employees there are our soldiers who, after injuries and rehabilitation, return to work. Last year, more than UAH 1.8m was allocated from the regional budget to create a barrier-free space in Lviv National Philharmonic.

Rivne oblast

Among the Ukrainian soldiers released from captivity today are two soldiers from Rivne oblast. They are 38-year-old and 39-year-old soldiers. Both are residents of Rivne region.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil community sent a 2015 VOLKSWAGEN TRANSPORTER, a set of winter tires, and an ERA AGM 95Ah battery worth over UAH 433,000 to the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade. The vehicle is fully equipped with equipment for the timely evacuation of the wounded and the provision of medical care on the front line.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

157 Ukrainians were returned from russian captivity. Defenders of the Armed Forces, the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service are returning home – soldiers, sergeants and officers. Together with them – civilians. Among them, 6 people are from Khmelnytskyi oblast: 4 – from Khmelnytskyi region, 2 – from Shepetivskyi region.

Chernivtsi oblast

The RMA held a meeting with Brigadier General Igor Doroshko, Deputy Commander of the Air Command West of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and his team. They discussed the status of the region’s available air defense resources at critical infrastructure facilities.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

The EU has agreed to provide Ukraine with a €90bn loan. The loan is aimed at supporting the state budget and defense needs. €30bn is provided as macroeconomic assistance to Ukraine through the Support Mechanism, and another €60bn is provided for investments in the defense industry and the purchase of military equipment.

Partners have already provided Ukraine with over 1,000 units of power equipment. To restore power supply to hospitals, community and regional life support facilities, partners have provided backup power equipment with a total capacity of over 145 MW.
