Russian forces launched assaults near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Pleshchiivka, Shcherbynivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Stepanivka, Ivanopillia, Kostiantynivka, Berestok, and Sofiivka, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
A total of 43 battles were recorded on the Pokrovsk sector of the front, while Ukrainian troops repelled another 14 attacks in the Oleksandrivka direction.
Fighters of the 7th Air Assault Corps and the 14th Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine “Chervona Kalyna” are focusing their efforts on controlling the northern part of Myrnohrad in Donetsk region. The Defense Forces are holding back the occupiers’ advance in the city center and preventing them from bringing equipment into the southern part of the city.
Russian officers near Pokrovsk are submitting reports requesting transfer to rear areas or to “calmer” sections of the front due to demotivation and threats from the Defense Forces of Ukraine and partisans. According to agents of the ATESH resistance movement, this trend has been observed in the occupying 39th Guards Motor Rifle Brigade.
The Russian army has also increased the number of air strikes on the Pokrovsk agglomeration and intensified pressure on the Defense Forces on its flanks, in the areas of Hryshyne and Rodynske.
This was reported by Serhii Okishev, an officer of the communications unit of the 7th Air Assault Corps.
In the morning, Russian forces dropped two aerial bombs on the industrial zone of Sloviansk, reported the head of the Military Administration, Viacheslav Liakh. There is no information about casualties or injuries.

Due to the emergency condition of the power grids, a significant part of the so-called “lpr” was left without electricity. Pumping stations were also de-energised, which led to a lack of drinking water. The occupiers blame the problems with electricity and water on the January weather, concealing the long-standing fact that the russians have been carrying out major and routine repairs to power grids and substations exclusively “on paper”.
In yet another attack by stray animals on locals, the occupation administration of Siverskodonetsk blamed the city’s residents. Instead of taking appropriate measures, the invaders responded with a counterproposal: to refrain from feeding dogs and cats in public places and near houses. They claim that ‘it is this practice that leads to aggressive behaviour in animals and the risk of conflict.’ In other words, they are trying to avoid responsibility.
