Three enemy attacks took place today towards Northern Slobozhanske and Kursk. The invaders’ aviation carried out four strikes, dropping 13 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy carried out 76 artillery strikes on the positions of our troops and settlements, six of which were from multiple launch rocket systems.
Towards Southern Slobozhanske, there were seven combat clashes in the areas of Bolohivka, Kamianka, and Kutkivka. One combat clash is currently ongoing.
Towards Kupiansk, two enemy attacks on the positions of Ukrainian units near Kupiansk and Bohuslavka are ongoing.
Towards Lyman, the invading army carried out one attack today on Ukrainian positions in the area of the village of Shandryholove.

Towards Pokrovsk, russian occupiers have made 55 attempts to dislodge our soldiers from their positions in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Shakhov, Dorozhne, Poltavka, Sukhetske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Chervonyi Lyman, Lysivka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Dachne, and in the direction of the settlements of Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka. The defence forces are holding back the offensive and have already repelled 54 attacks.
Towards Oleksandrivka, our defenders have stopped 17 assaults by enemy troops in the areas of the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Oleksandrohrad, Vorone, Sosnivka, Kalynivske, Novohryhorivka, Olhivske, and in the direction of Orestopil, Oleksiivka, and Pryvilne. Two more combat clashes are still ongoing.
Towards Huliaipole, the aggressor launched an air strike on the settlement of Zaliznychne.
Towards Orikhiv direction, our defenders repelled six enemy attacks in the direction of Plavni and Primorske, near Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Stepnohirsk, and Stepove. Two more combat engagements are still ongoing.
Towards Kherson, the enemy launched an air strike on Mykolaivka and made one unsuccessful attempt to approach the positions of Ukrainian units in the direction of Antonivskyi Bridge.
Rostov Military Court sentenced 15 Ukrainian prisoners of war from the Aidar battalion. They were sentenced to terms ranging from 15 to 21 years in a strict regime colony. 18 people were involved in this case, two female medics have already been returned to Ukraine as part of an exchange, and the case of one of the drivers has been separated into a separate proceeding, his fate is unknown.
Volunteer Denys Khrystov reported that in Pokrovsk, russians shot civilians. Near the railway, which the tussians had reached, a drone discovered the bodies of three civilians and a wounded woman with gunshot wounds to her legs. Later, an unknown man carried her away in his arms.

Towards Southern Slobozhanske, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 10 times near the settlements of Vovchansk, Tykhe, Kamianka, Dvorichanske and Bolohivka.
Towards Kupiansk, there were four attacks by the occupiers during the day. The defence forces repelled the enemy’s assault in the direction of Pishchane.
There were 1,253 combat clashes on the front line over the past week.
Attacks
In the evening, a drone hit a tree in Kyivskyi district.
The State Emergence Service reported that the russians struck Orilka in the morning. Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the RMA, stated that at the time of the shelling, a family was in the house that was hit. A fire broke out, and two farm buildings were also damaged. The injured woman is 42 years old. Her daughters, who suffered severe shock, are 11 and 19 years old.
Over the past day, six settlements in Kharkiv oblast were hit by enemy strikes.
As a result of the shelling, one person was killed and five people were injured, including a child.
In Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Kupiansk community, a 71-year-old man was killed and a 72-year-old man injured; in the village of Orilka, Lozova community, a 42-year-old woman was injured, and a 52-year-old man, a 19-year-old woman and an 11-year-old girl suffered acute stress reactions.

Bohodukhiv region was also significantly affected: six private houses, an administrative building, a warehouse of an agricultural enterprise, a car, and power lines.
In the city of Kharkiv, the enemy damaged two dormitories, an enterprise, an educational institution building, a hospital building, two non-residential buildings, 24 cars, a farm building, and power lines.
Referring to the press service of the regional power company, part of Kholodnohirskyi district was left without power. The reason given is the consequences of previous strikes by the russian Federation and network overload.
Other
The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 160 people in 24 hours. 70 people remained. A total of 8,423 people have been registered at the centre since it began operating.
Over the past week, State Emergency Service units extinguished 24 fires caused by enemy shelling. They defused 516 enemy munitions.
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that in Kharkiv oblast, air raid sirens will now also be activated for communities located within 150 km of the KAB carrier if there is a threat of an air strike. According to him, before the russian strike on Lozova on 18 October, the alarm was sounded for communities located within 100km of the aircraft carrying the bombs.
Donetsk oblast
Frontline
Maksym Bilousov, Head of the communications department of the 60th Mechanised Brigade, reported that towards Lyman, the russians continue to attack in small groups and actively use FPV drones, Kub, Lancet, and Molniya-2. The defence forces are destroying the saboteurs. The russian army is accumulating manpower.
According to the 7th Airborne Corps, recently, a russian sabotage and reconnaissance group broke through to the centre of Pokrovsk, near the railway station, and shot several civilians. A joint strike and search group of the Defence Forces detected and eliminated the occupiers, who were hiding in one of the railway station buildings at the time.
The General Staff reported that the russian military has increased the number of attacks towards Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk and Oleksandrivka.
Towards Pokrovsk, Ukrainian defenders stopped 58 assaults over the past day.
Towards Kostiantynivka, russian troops carried out 24 attacks in the areas of Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Toretsk, Pleshchiivka, Rusyne Yar, and Sofiivka. The same number of attacks took place towards Oleksandrivka.
Attacks
Vadym Liakh, Head of the Military Administration, said that at around 12:30pm, russian troops shelled Sloviansk with Molniya-2 UAVs. There were no casualties or injuries. As a result of the attack, two high-rise buildings and a kindergarten in Khimik microdistrict were damaged. At night, russian troops attacked Sloviansk with Geran-2 UAVs, hitting a residential area and damaging houses and cars.
According to Serhii Horbunov, Head of the Military Administration, the russian army has shelled Kostiantynivka twice since the beginning of the day, killing one person in one strike. In the morning, the city was hit by an air strike, damaging the facade of an apartment building, but there were no casualties. The city was shelled a second time with barrel artillery. As a result, one person in their own home suffered fatal injuries. The facade of a private home was also damaged.
After midnight, russia struck a hospital in Druzhkivka with a drone. Kramatorsk was also under attack. No information about casualties has been received yet.
The CMA said that the russian army also struck the private sector of Kramatorsk at night with a Geran-2 UAV. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, but residential buildings were damaged.
On 19 October, the police recorded 2,169 enemy strikes on the front line and residential areas.
11 settlements were under attack: Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, Lyman, Sloviansk, Malotaranivka, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Andriivka, Hryshyne, Krynytsia, and Staroraiske.
30 civilian objects were damaged, including 19 residential buildings.

The russians shelled Kostiantynivka with barrel artillery, injuring two men aged 48 and 58 and damaging an apartment building.
The enemy directed seven drones of various types at Druzhkivka. Two civilians, a man and a woman aged 73 and 74, were injured. Four apartment buildings, one private house, and two cars were damaged.
In Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, a 49-year-old man was wounded when an FPV drone hit a civilian truck.
One 70-year-old man was wounded in Staroraiske. Russian troops struck the village with a Geran-2 UAV, damaging three houses.
In Kramatorsk, a Molniya-2 UAV strike damaged two apartment buildings and three civilian cars, and in Malotaranivka, a private house. In Andriivka, an FPV drone damaged an educational institution.
The occupiers attacked Sloviansk with five drones, damaging three private houses, a health resort building, non-residential premises, and an educational institution. In Lyman, one apartment building, two private houses, and an administrative building were damaged.
In Hryshyne, Pokrovsk region, a residential building was damaged.
Other
The White Angel crew evacuated six residents from Dobropillia and Hryshyne, Pokrovsk region. During the evacuation, a russian drone attacked the evacuation vehicle. The police detected the UAV in time and shot it down with a rifle.
According to the CMA, residents of Siversk community were evacuated last week. Among those evacuated was a seriously injured man who was hospitalised in Sloviansk.
Luhansk oblast
Over the past day, russians stormed eight times towards Lyman and Sloviansk. They tried to advance near six settlements. In our area of responsibility, they fired mainly with barrel artillery. They actively used UAVs and FPV drones.
75% of the garbage truck fleet in the cities of the so-called “lpr” needs to be replaced. The problem of untimely garbage collection has been discussed for 3.5 years. They promise new projects, to build six landfills, to involve a regional environmental operator. In the meantime, waste is being taken to old, decommissioned landfills that were already full. Waste is rarely collected from residential areas, with collections taking place at least once every week or two. In some settlements, the relevant services do not work at all. However, in the occupied Luhansk oblast, they boast that, compared to the first nine months of 2024, they have increased the volume of waste collection by 9%. They also report that the number of cities where such a service has become regular has increased.
The petrol crisis in the “lpr” is reaching its peak. Fuel has begun to be siphoned from cars that owners have parked overnight near their homes or in car parks. Drivers who own a garage feel more at ease. However, even in this case, there is something to be wary of – during the working day, it is dangerous to leave a vehicle unattended for even a few hours, even in the city centre.
Activists from the Yellow Ribbon movement report the appearance of groups in black civilian clothing patrolling the streets of the occupied towns of Starobilsk and Svatove. According to the activists, they walk in groups of 2-3 people, periodically approaching passers-by and asking to see their documents. To do this, the patrol introduces itself as the “military commandant’s office” and shows russian army military ID cards.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
The RMA reported that on the night of 20 October, enemy strike drones heading for settlements in Kyiv oblast were destroyed at the region’s borders. Since the start of the Clear Sky project, almost 1,700 enemy targets have been hit.
In Borodianka, instructors are being trained to work with veterans and wounded civilians. Lectures have been going on for over a month, followed by practical training on special equipment, wheelchair basketball and rugby chairs, and bicycles for injuries. Thirty-four instructors have completed the practical part of the training. A total of 145 participants attended 11 online lectures on psychological support for veterans, inclusiveness, accessibility, and rehabilitation after various types of injuries.
Mayor Vadym Tokar announced that a renovated children’s library in Makariv has reopened after major repairs. The building was significantly damaged during the hostilities, but has now been completely restored using local budget funds. Thanks to patrons, the library’s collection has also been replenished with new and interesting publications.
In Borodianka, the restoration of the fifth entrance to a residential building at 429A Tsentralna Street is continuing. It was completely destroyed during russian shelling and is now being rebuilt from scratch. The restored entrance will have 20 fully renovated apartments ready for comfortable living. The major repairs are planned to be completed by the end of this year.
The Ukrainian Women’s Guard invites women to attend an intensive training course on “Tactical Medicine + Mine Safety”. The event will take place on 25 October in Obolonskyi district of Kyiv.
A charity volleyball tournament in memory of Defender Artem Klymuk was held in Hatne community. This tournament became not only a sporting event, but also a symbol of unity, gratitude and the indomitable Ukrainian spirit.
A warm and meaningful event for Ukrainian defenders took place in the Tarashcha community – a meeting in the format of “Cossack soup”, organised by specialists from the “Veteran Space” department of the Social Services Centre. The event continued a series of activities for war veterans aimed at providing support, communication and restoration of life resources.
Zhytomyr oblast
According to a report by NEC Ukrenerho, on 20 October, power restriction schedules were enforced for industrial consumers in Zhytomyr oblast. These restrictions were introduced as a result of previous russian strikes on energy infrastructure.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine in oblast reported that in Zhytomyr SES specialists taught students the rules of mine safety. The interactive event “Quest in a Box” took place on 18 October at one of the educational institutions in the regional centre.
On 18 October, the village of Hadyinka in the Hlybochytska community hosted the first school cook battle in Zhytomyr oblast. Cooks from 11 schools in the community took part, preparing main courses, desserts and drinks. During the battle, money was collected for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Sumy oblast
The General Staff reportedthat therewere 13 combat engagements towards Northern Slobozhanske and Kursk. Over the past day, russians carried out two air strikes, dropping six guided bombs. They also carried out 160 attacks of Ukrainian military positions and settlements, including five with multiple launch rocket systems.
As a result of russian shelling, railway infrastructure in Sumy axis has been damaged. Because of this, a number of trains are running with delays.
During the day, from the morning of 19 October to the morning of 20 October, russian troops carried out 58 attacks on 26 settlements in 11 communities of the region. The most attacks were recorded in Sumy and Shostka regions. The enemy actively used guided aerial bombs (5 strikes), MLRS (10 strikes), dropped VOGs from UAVs (more than 10 strikes), and also carried out strikes with FPV drones. As a result of russian shelling on the night of 19 October, a private house in Boromlia community was damaged.
According to the regional police, pyrotechnics defused an enemy UAV found by foragers in the forest. Upon arriving at the site where the drone crashed, specialists examined the debris, defused its high-explosive fragmentation warhead, transported it to a specially designated area, and destroyed it by detonation.
Chernihiv oblast
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of te Regional Military Administration, stated that over the course of a week, a total of 77 enemy strike drones were shot down in Chernihiv oblast through the joint efforts of the Air Defence Forces, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, and border guards. The material support of the units covering the sky over the region continues to be strengthened.
Oleksandr Seliverstov, Head of Novhorod-Siverskyi Regional Military Administration, said that in the afternoon of 20 October, the russians attacked the village of Kostobobriv on the border of Chernihiv oblast with an FPV drone. A 65-year-old local resident was wounded. The man was taken to hospital with shrapnel wounds to his limbs.
According to Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine and Minister of Community and Territorial Development, on the night of 20 October, russian UAVs struck a traction substation of Ukrzaliznytsia in Chernihiv oblast. Railway power engineers immediately set about repairing the damage, but the russians directed UAVs to the site of the restoration work. Thanks to the monitoring system, the workers were evacuated to a safe place in time. According to Chernihiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, the russian strikes damaged a locomotive and railway tracks.
On the night of 20 October, rissian troops attacked an energy facility in Nizhyn region. As of 1:33am, 2,700 subscribers were without power. Energy workers are working hard to eliminate the accidents.
According to Chernihivoblenerho JSC, on the evening of 19 October, the enemy attacked an energy facility in Koriukivka region. As a result of the attack, the facility suffered significant damage, and nearly 55,000 subscribers were left without electricity.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the RMA, reported that the aggressor has struck several energy facilities and infrastructure in Koryikivka, Nizhyn and Pryluky regions. Fires broke out at the sites of the strikes.
According to the North Operational Command, the russian military attacked Pryluky region with drones, damaging an oil processing plant. One of the agricultural enterprises was also hit. According to the State Emergency Service of Chernihiv oblast, 95 rescuers, 37 fire engines from four regions and a combined unit of the State Emergency Service, a fire train and robotic equipment were involved in eliminating the consequences of russian drone strikes on oil tanks near Pryluky.
Chernihiv border guard detachment said that on 19 October, russian troops attacked two border communities in Chernihiv oblast. In Semenivka community, Zarichchia was hit by mortar fire (10 explosions). The enemy carried out strikes with FPV drones (4 explosions) on Huta-Studenetska in Snovsk community.
The Pension Fund of Ukraine in Chernihiv oblast reported that since the beginning of 2025, 20 accidents related to russia’s armed aggression have been recorded at enterprises in Chernihiv oblast. As a result, 36 employees were injured and seven were killed. The number of industrial injuries increased by seven cases compared to 2024.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Air defence forces were operating in the region. Defenders of the sky destroyed five enemy UAVs.
In the evening and at night, the occupiers continued to strike Nikopol region. They targeted the district centre and Pokrovsk community with drones and artillery. Four private homes, six farm buildings, and a power line were damaged. Once again, the enemy army struck Synelnykove with drones. They targeted Mezhivka and Pokrovka communities. Fires broke out, and a five-story building, shops, and a cultural institution were damaged.
There was a lot of noise in Pavlohrad region. Pavlohrad and Verbivka community were targeted. The enemy attack with missiles and UAVs caused fires. Sixteen people were injured. Infrastructure was damaged. The enemy continued to strike Nikopol region. They targeted the district centre, Myrove and Pokrovsk communities with drones and artillery. A high-rise building, an agricultural company, two private houses, two farm buildings, a gas pipeline and a power line were damaged.
Kirovohrad oblast
The communities of Petrivka, Pishchanobridske, and Ustynivka in Kirovohrad oblast bid farewell to their soldiers. They were Roman Hrebenchukov, Serhii Cherviakov, and Dmytro Kozak.
Roman Hrebenchukov was wounded on the front lines in 2023 and was discharged from service. He spent more than a year and a half in hospital. The soldier’s heart stopped on 18 October. He was 42 years old.
Serhii Cherviakov had been missing since 28 August while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Nikanorivka in Donetsk oblast, where he was found wounded. He died on 5 October this year from injuries incompatible with life.
Dmytro Kozak was killed on 10 October while performing a combat mission near the village of Korchakivka in Sumy oblast. He was 24 years old.
Poltava oblast
Farewell ceremonies will be held for two fallen soldiers, Kyrylo Bassarab from Kremenchuk and Oleksandr Nuradilov from Dykan community.
Kyrylo Bassarab was killed on 24 October 2024 while performing combat duties near Vesele in Kursk oblast.
Oleksandr Nuradilov was killed on 11 October as a result of a russian air strike with guided bombs in Kramatorsk area of Donetsk oblast.
Cherkasy oblast
Talnivka community bid farewell to soldier Oleksandr Darmohrai. He was killed on 13 October 2025 in battle in Donetsk oblast.
In Cherkasy, they bid farewell to the fallen defender Ihor Kononts. He was killed on 13 October in Sumy oblast.
Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, reported that at first fifty students completed a national resistance training course at the Centre. Women and men of different ages and professions. Among them were employees of the RMA. It was a five-week intensive course for civilians, theory and practice. From certified instructors, most of whom are veterans. Yesterday, 19 October, the occupiers carried out 595 attacks on 17 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces launched 7 airstrikes on Lukasheve, Malynivka, Nove, and Mala Tokmachka. 399 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV) attacked Bilenke, Veselianka, Stepnohirsk, Plavni, Stepove, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Malynivka, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Charivne, and Bilohiria. Five MLRS strikes were launched on Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Shcherbaky. There were 184 artillery strikes on Yurivka, Stepnohirsk, Plavni, Stepove, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Charivne, and Bilohiria. Eleven reports were received regarding damage to homes, vehicles, and infrastructure.
As of 4pm on 20 October, Ukrainian defenders repelled six enemy attacks near Plavni and Prymorske, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Stepnohirsk, and Stepove towards Orikhiv. Two more combat engagements are still ongoing.
The head of the Center for the Study of Occupation, Petro Andriushchenko, reported that the russian regulator (rostekhnadzor) issued a 25-year license for the operation of a dry storage facility for spent nuclear fuel at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). According to Rrssian law, this document regulates the long-term operation of the plant.
The russian occupation authorities opened a permanent maritime cargo checkpoint at the port of temporarily occupied Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Earlier, russia included the temporarily occupied Berdiansk commercial seaport in the list of ports open to foreign vessels.
Mykolaiv oblast
Yesterday, 19 October, the enemy carried out eight FPV drone attacks on Ochakiv community. There were no casualties. Air defense forces shot down or suppressed two Shahed-type UAVs or various types of decoy drones in Mykolaiv oblast.
Odesa oblast
During the night of 20 October, the enemy carried out a combined missile and drone strike on Odesa oblast. Most of the aerial targets were destroyed by air defense forces, however, there were hits that caused damage to civilian port infrastructure and several fires broke out. No information about killed or injured people has been reported.
According to the “South” Air Command, the russian army struck Odesa oblast with three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles. In addition, the region was attacked by strike drones. Air defense forces of southern Ukraine shot down or suppressed 15 strike UAVs of the Shahed, “Herbera,” and other types during the night.
Kherson oblast
In the morning, the russian army shelled Antonivka. An elderly local woman was killed.
At around 1pm, russian forces shelled Osokorivka in Novovorontsovka community. As a result of the enemy attack, a 36-year-old man suffered blast trauma and a concussion.
A man who had been injured the previous evening due to russian shelling of Kherson sought medical help. The 41-year-old resident of Kherson was diagnosed with a concussion, a brain contusion, blast injuries, and a closed traumatic brain injury.
Yesterday, 19 October, russian forces carried out strikes using artillery, mortars, and multiple launch rocket systems, and deployed UAVs of various types. The enemy attacked Kherson, Kizomys, Antonivka, Sofiivka, Sadove, Bilozerka, Komyshany, Tomyna Balka, Molodizhne, Blahovishchenske, Novodmytrivka, Naddniprianske, Chornobaivka, Beryslav, Novoraisk, Olhivka, Odradokamianka, Burhunka, Lvivove, Kozatske, and Vesele. As a result of the russian attacks, four apartment buildings, eight private houses, an administrative building, a kindergarten, a furniture store, and a trolleybus network were damaged in these settlements. One person was killed and five others were injured, and another man was wounded by a landmine.
As of 4pm on 20 October, the enemy carried out an airstrike on the village of Mykolaivka and made one unsuccessful attempt to approach the positions of Ukrainian units near the Antonivskyi Bridge towards Kherson.
Over the past week, the russian army attacked Kherson community by launching 1,209 drones. Ukrainian units destroyed 1,156 of them. In total, Ukrainian defenders shot down or neutralized 96% of the UAVs launched by russian forces on the right bank of the region.

Volyn oblast
The Western Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine – Western Border reported that servicemen of Volyn Border Guard Detachment once again joined the blood donation for the needs of medical institutions in the East of the country.
Zakarpattia oblast
An unscheduled meeting of the local commission on technogenic and environmental safety and emergencies was held in Uzhhorod City Council under the chairmanship of Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv. They discussed the condition of civil defense structures, which according to the results of the surveys were recognized as not ready or limitedly ready, and ways to eliminate the identified shortcomings.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Ivano-Frankivsk community sent 100 drones to the 109th Separate Battalion of the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade, 100 drones to the 50th Semyon Vysochan regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine, and 150 drones to the 42nd Separate Mechanized Brigade.
Lviv oblast
The Priority 4_5_0 CF donated 19 sleeping bags from Stil WOWiN Chamber of Commerce and Industry and camouflage nets from Nebaiduzhi Group of Companies to the 144th Separate Mechanized Brigade in Kupiansk region. Donations also went to defenders on the front lines in Sumy, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhia oblasts.
The 20th Airborne Assault Battalion of the 95th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade and the military unit where Skoliv resident Oleh Suprun serves were sent 3 modern DJI Matrice 4T unmanned aerial vehicles from Skoliv City Council.
The Angels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine CF sent cars, fuel, drones, equipment and everything necessary to defenders to Sumy and Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk oblast, thanks to volunteers and caring citizens.
Rivne oblast
A rehabilitation center for military personnel is being built in the Sarny region. Special emphasis will be placed on family-based rehabilitation so that defenders can stay at the facility with their loved ones.
Ternopil oblast
The RMA reported that the oblast sent 7 vehicles; dozens of unmanned systems; Starlink kits; generators, fuel tanks, materials for 3D printing, and other necessary equipment to the military.
Fighters of the Kraken special forces unit received 4 Chuyka electronic warfare systems from Ternopil community.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
The military received 20 quadcopters worth almost UAH 3.5m from Khmelnytskyi community.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA reported that for courage and heroism shown in the defense of the state, senior soldier Dmytro Tvardovsky was awarded with the III degree For Courage Order (posthumously).
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
Ukraine and the United Kingdom are starting joint production of artillery under the LYRA program. Countries have agreed to establish production of modern artillery systems on the territory of Ukraine, a step that should enhance combat capability and reduce dependence on external supplies.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian President, announced that Ukraine is preparing a contract with American defense companies for the supply of 25 Patriot systems.
