What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding back the advance of Russian occupiers. The terrorists continue to kill Ukrainians and destroy Ukrainian cities and villages with missile, air, and artillery strikes.

At this time, the total number of combat engagements is 65.

The Defense Forces are taking the necessary measures to prevent the enemy from advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory.

Today, the following communities in Sumy region were affected by enemy artillery and mortar fire: Prokhody, Progress, Studenok, Sosnivka, Zarutske, Popivka, Shalyhyne, and Vasylivske. Additionally, enemy aviation struck areas near Uhroidy, Turya, Krasnopillia, Petrushivka, and Mala Rybitsia.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders once near Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers launched one attack near Zahryzove.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army carried out 10 attacks today on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Hrekivka, Nadiia, Yampolivka, and Torske. One combat engagement is currently ongoing.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attempted to advance twice near Chasiv Yar and west of Andriivka.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy is trying to breach our defenses in the areas of Toretsk, Ozarianivka, Dachne, Krymske, and Druzhba. Four attacks are ongoing, and our defenders have already repelled nine enemy assaults.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian occupiers have made 24 attempts to push our troops from their positions near the settlements of Tarasivka, Novotoretske, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka, Bohdanivka, Andriivka, and in the directions of Oleksandropil and Myroliubivka. The Defense Forces are holding back the onslaught and have repelled 22 attacks; two combat engagements are still underway.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled five enemy assault actions. The enemy tried to advance in the areas of Kostiantynopil, Vilne Pole, and towards Odradne. One combat engagement continues. Air strikes were recorded on Zelenе Pole, Myrne, and Novopil.

In the Huliaipole direction, enemy aircraft launched unguided rocket attacks on Huliaipole and Malynivka.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack near Shcherbaky. Air strikes hit Novodanylivka, Magdalynivka, and Stepnohirsk.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the terrorist state launched an airstrike on Mykolaivka.

In the Kursk sector, Ukrainian forces repelled six enemy attacks today, with one combat engagement ongoing. The invaders’ aircraft carried out 12 strikes, dropping 20 glide bombs (KABs). In addition, the enemy conducted 134 artillery shellings of our military positions and civilian settlements.

No combat engagements have been recorded in the Huliaipole and Prydniprovske directions as of now.

The bodies of 909 fallen Ukrainian defenders have been returned. This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War. The fallen were returned from the Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kharkiv directions, as well as from morgues on the territory of Russia.

On the morning of April 18, Russia launched a ballistic missile strike with cluster munitions on Kharkiv. This was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. As a result of the attack, one person was killed, and 113 people were injured to varying degrees, including nine children.

Kharkiv oblast

Frontline Updates

Yesterday, in the Kharkiv direction, the enemy made one unsuccessful attempt to advance in the area of Vovchansk, according to the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

In the Kupiansk direction, four enemy assaults took place yesterday. The Defense Forces repelled hostile attacks near Petropavlivka, Synkivka, and Zahryzove.

Shelling

At 05:10, Russian forces attacked the city of Kharkiv. As of 09:00, 3,657 windows and 80 balcony glass panels had been reported shattered, according to the press service of the Kharkiv City Council. Specialists from Kharkiv Repair and Construction Enterprise and Kharkivspetsbud continue to seal off damaged openings, while Kharkivblagoustrii teams are clearing broken glass and large debris. Workers from Kharkivzelenbud are also on-site, removing damaged trees and trimming branches.

A total of 98 people sought medical help following the Russian strikes on Kharkiv, according to the latest update from Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. Seventeen individuals were hospitalized, including a 4-year-old girl, a 1-year-old boy, and a 14-year-old girl. Syniehubov reported that three of the wounded are in serious condition. One man was killed.

As a result of the morning shelling of Kharkiv on April 18, the bookstore Knygoland was damaged. The blast wave shattered its windows. However, the store has already reopened to visitors. This was shared on social media by the bookstore chain’s director, Ihor Zarudko.

This morning, Russia struck Kharkiv with a cruise missile equipped with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead launched from an Iskander system, according to Serhii Bolvinov, head of the regional police investigation department. He stated that it was a 9M727 missile — the Russian equivalent of the American Tomahawk.

At 16:30, the Russian army attacked the city of Kupiansk in the Kupiansk district. As a result of a KAB (guided aerial bomb) strike on a nine-story apartment building, the 7th, 8th, and 9th floors of the second entrance were destroyed. Window glazing was damaged in six other apartment buildings nearby. Two women, aged 72 and 69, suffered acute stress reactions.

Two people may be trapped under the rubble of the nine-story building in Kupiansk that was hit yesterday evening by a Russian ODAB-1500 bomb. This information is currently being verified, according to Andrii Besedin, head of the Kupiansk City Military Administration. Heavy machinery is required for the search and rescue operation.

A woman and a police officer were injured in the evening strike on Kupiansk, Besedin said. Three floors of the building were destroyed.

At 16:08, the Russian army attacked the city of Kupiansk, Kupiansk district. Reeds were burning in an open area covering 1 hectare, and a utility structure caught fire over an area of 10 square meters.

At 14:10, the Russian army attacked the village of Borova, Borova Hromada, Izium district. As a result of the shelling, the forest floor caught fire over an area of 1.8 hectares.

At 13:38, the Russian army attacked the city of Kupiansk, Kupiansk district. Due to the air-dropped bomb (KAB) strike, a fire broke out on the floor of the 1st story of a multi-apartment residential building, affecting an area of 20 square meters.

At 12:53, the Russian army attacked the village of Slobozhanske, Lypetsk Hromada, Kharkiv district. During evacuation efforts, shelling occurred, partially damaging two private households.

At 12:30, the Russian army attacked the village of Nechvolodivka, Kindrashivka Hromada, Kupiansk district. Preliminary reports indicate that a “Molniya” UAV hit a garbage truck belonging to a municipal utility.

At 11:07, the Russian army attacked the city of Kupiansk, Kupiansk district. As a result of a KAB strike, a gas pipeline caught fire; an administrative building and trade pavilions were also damaged.

At 08:23, the Russian army attacked the Berestivskyi area, Sakhnovshchyna Hromada, between the villages of Kalynivka and Nova Cherneshchyna. A crater with fragments was found as a result of a downed UAV.

At 08:10, the Russian army attacked the city of Izium, Izium Hromada, Izium district. A missile strike (preliminarily an Iskander-type missile) hit the premises of an educational institution. A 39-year-old man and a 70-year-old woman were injured.

At 07:53, the Russian army attacked the city of Kupiansk, Kupiansk district. As a result of the strike (weapon type being clarified), a private residential property was damaged: windows, roof, garage, fence, and gates.

At 07:02, the Russian army attacked the village of Oskil, Oskil community, Izium district. As a result of the strike by a “Lancet”-type drone, a Daewoo cargo truck caught fire over an area of 9 square meters.

 

Donetsk oblast

Frontline

The Defense Forces repelled 64 attacks in the Pokrovsk sector over the past day — more than twice as many as the day before. Russian forces assaulted areas near Sukha Balka, Stara Mykolaivka, Zelenе Pole, Vodyane Druhe, Yelyzavetivka, Novotoretske, Promin, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, and Andriivka, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Russian army carried out 20 assaults on Ukrainian positions in the Lyman sector and 11 assaults near Toretsk.

Over the past day in the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian forces eliminated over 700 Russian troops, killed or wounded, and destroyed more than 170 motorcycles. According to the Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Oleksandr Pivnenko, during one massive assault in the first half of the day, 96 motorcycles and 240 Russian soldiers were destroyed.

Overnight on April 18, a Russian military base near temporarily occupied Mariupol was struck. At least 10 Russian soldiers were wounded, reported Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of Occupation.

Shelling

Three people were killed due to Russian shelling in Donetsk region over the past day — in Kostiantynivka and Rusyn Yar, according to the Regional Military Administration. Six more civilians were injured in Novoekonomichne, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, and Hryshyne.

Police recorded 3,772 Russian strikes on frontline areas and residential zones throughout the day. 13 settlements were affected: Druzhkivka, Kostiantynivka, Lyman, Toretsk, the towns of Donetske, Drobysheve, Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka, Novoekonomichne, villages Hryshyne, Zoria, Popiv Yar, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiivka. A total of 63 civilian objects were damaged, including 49 residential buildings.

Kostiantynivka endured 7 attacks using bombs, Smerch MLRS, and artillery. Two residents were killed, two more were wounded. Damage was inflicted on 5 apartment buildings, 2 private homes, an enterprise, an office, 4 garages, and 4 civilian vehicles.

In Rusyn Yar, one person was killed by a KAB-250 guided aerial bomb; 8 private homes were damaged.

One person was injured in Oleksiievo-Druzhkivka. Three private homes, a museum, and a vehicle were damaged.

Pokrovsk district was also under fire: in Novoekonomichne, two civilians were injured, and in Hryshyne — one person.

Druzhkivka was hit by an S-300 missile, damaging an industrial enterprise. In Sofiivka, an FPV drone damaged a private home.

In Popiv Yar, a KAB-250 bomb caused damage to 12 private homes. In Zoria, 4 apartment buildings and 7 private homes were damaged.

In Lyman, artillery fire damaged an apartment building and a dormitory. In Donetske, a Molniya-2 drone strike damaged two apartment buildings and a private home.

Additionally, information has been confirmed about two civilians wounded in Pokrovsk on April 16 due to earlier Russian shelling.

Luhansk oblast

On April 17, the enemy intensified pressure on both the Lyman and Severodonetsk directions, as reported by the regional military administration. Russian attacks were repelled from Nadya and Hrekiivka. Combat operations were ongoing in Bilohorivka.

The enemy significantly increased artillery support on our section of the front. Specifically, the invaders targeted 37 times with towed artillery and five times with rocket artillery. They also attempted to strike Ukrainian military shelters from the air. A total of 149 drones were directed at our positions.

The so-called “people’s council of the LPR” passed a “law” simplifying the process of leasing “state and municipal property.” This allows, in particular, the suspension of necessary competitions and auctions for such transfers until 2028. As a result, the process of transferring real estate has been significantly simplified for selected representatives of big business.

In the walls of the symbolically restored apartment buildings in Severodonetsk, fragments of shells remain. Local residents have repeatedly pointed this out, but the occupation administration has shown no concern regarding this issue.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The RMA reported that at night the enemy attacked Kyiv oblast using a UAV. No civilians were injured. In Fastiv district, a private house was damaged as a result of the attack, and in Bucha district, a forest floor caught fire. The fire was extinguished.

Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko announced that the capital’s community has sent a shipment of 1,100 multi-rotor systems to the frontline. The 27th separate Pechersk Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine will receive the necessary assistance. Since the beginning of the year, the city has allocated UAH 30 million from the budget for this brigade to purchase the necessary equipment.

The first therapeutic garden in Ukraine is to be built on the territory of VDNKh in Kyiv, a space for psychological and physical recovery of Kyiv residents, veterans and their families. It will be an open public space that will help improve physical and emotional well-being through interaction with nature.

The Regional Military Administration reported that the curfew for Easter in Kyiv oblast will remain unchanged, with night services to be broadcast online. Religious organisations are advised to schedule services and the blessing of Easter baskets to avoid large crowds in one place.

Zhytomyr oblast

The Department for Veterans Affairs of the City Council informs that applications for participation in the Veterans Sport programme for the second quarter of 2025 are being accepted in Zhytomyr oblast until 20 April. At this stage, Zhytomyr has about 10 locations where funds for sports can be spent, including gyms, clubs, fitness centres and a swimming pool.

The Department of Education of the Zhytomyr City Council announced that on 16 April, more than 3,000 Easter cakes were blessed in the Zhytomyr St Michael’s Cathedral, and will be delivered to Ukrainian defenders as part of the Together to Victory charity event. Along with the Easter cakes, the military will receive amulets made by Zhytomyr students and preschoolers.

Sumy oblast

Mykhailo Melnyk, Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported that in Sumy, around 5am., russian forces attacked a bakery by three drones, damaging the confectionery workshop where Easter cakes were being baked. As a result of the attack, an entrepreneur who came to collect products was killed, and a workshop employee was injured.

the State Emergency Service informed that russian forces carried out two strikes on critical infrastructure in Hlukhiv community, causing a fire. During a subsequent enemy attack, a fire truck was damaged. The fire has been extinguished, and no casualties were reported.

Iryna Yukhta, Acting Head of Krasnopillia community, informed that in the morning of 18 April, russian forces carried out airstrikes using GABs on a school in Osoivka, Krasnopillia community. As a result of the enemy attack, the school building was partially destroyed. This is not the first strike on this educational institution by russian forces. Additionally, in Krasnopillia, buildings, hangars, and garages of several enterprises were damaged due to the strikes.

Overall, during the night and morning, russian forces carried out 76 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast. A total of 132 explosions were recorded. The following communities came under fire: Sumy, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Shalyhyne, Esman, Svesa, and Seredyna-Buda.

Throughout the past day, 17 April, russian forces carried out 153 shelling attacks on Sumy oblast, with a total of 316 strikes recorded. The enemy used mortars (83 explosions), artillery (123 explosions), FPV-drones (51 explosions), GABs (21 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (41 explosions). Ten communities came under enemy fire: Khotin, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Hlukhiv, Shalyhyne, Esman, and Seredyna-Buda. 

the Regional Military Administration, as a result of enemy attacks on 17 April, a private household in Krasnopillia community was damaged, along with non-residential premises and a vehicle in Hlukhiv community.

According to the Regional Military Administration, in Sumy oblast, residents are advised not to visit cemeteries within a 20-km zone from the state border. Additionally, the curfew remains unchanged during the Easter holidays, from 11pm to 5am.

According to Sumy community leaders, in the past day, 71 people evacuated from three border communities in Sumy region. Sixty-three people left Krasnopillia community, seven residents evacuated from Myropillia community, and one person independently departed from Nova Sich in Yunakivka community.

Shostka Regional Military Administration announced that in the past week, more than 460 people have evacuated from the village of Shalyhyne.

Chernihiv oblast

Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment reported that on 17 April, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk. The enemy carried out grenade launcher shelling (10 explosions), FPV-drone strikes (7 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (16 explosions). Twelve settlements came under enemy fire.

Department of Civil Protection and Defense Work of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration informed that as a result of shelling by russian forces over the past day in Semenivka community, in the villages of Medvedivka, Karpovychi, and Zarichchia, fires spread through dry vegetation, and buildings caught fire.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi awarded Dmytro Minenko, an electrician from ‘Chernihiv City Electric Networks’ of JSC ‘Chernihivoblenergo,’ with the medal ‘For Labor and Valor.’ He received the state award for his significant contribution to the development and maintenance of the energy complex during martial law, as well as for his personal courage and dedication demonstrated in eliminating the consequences of accidents at energy infrastructure facilities.

In Chernihiv, ahead of the Easter holidays, staff and children from Kindergarten No. 69 organized a charity fair. The funds raised were directed toward an anti-drone defense system for the fighters of the 105th Border Guard Detachment, who are currently stationed on Kupiansk front.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported that it was noisy in Dnipro and Dnipro region in the morning. Defenders shot down three missiles and three enemy UAVs over the region. As a result of the enemy strike, fires broke out. Private houses, outbuildings, greenhouses, a fitness centre, a hotel and an office building were damaged. In the evening, at night and in the morning, the occupiers continued to attack Nikopol. They attacked with kamikaze drones and fired from Grad multiple rocket launchers. They targeted the region centre, Marhanets and Myrove communities. A multi-storey building, a private house, a car, a power line and a gas pipeline were damaged.  Also in the evening, the enemy army attacked the Zelenodolsk community of Kryvyi Rih region with a drone. 

In addition, the enemy attacked the Sloviansk community in Synelnykivskyi region at night. A fire broke out in an unused building. A car also caught fire. A lyceum, a kindergarten, 30 private houses and 4 cars were damaged. 

Throughout the day, the occupiers were shelling Nikopol region. They carried out about three dozen attacks. They used kamikaze drones and fired from artillery.

They targeted the region centre, Pokrov, Chervonohryhorivka, Marhanets and Myrive communities. A 35-year-old woman was injured and received the necessary medical care. A multi-storey building, a private house, an administrative building, shops, unused buildings, a bus and infrastructure were damaged. 

The enemy also attacked Sinelnykivka region with drones. In Mezhivka community, a building that was not in use was damaged. In the Mezhivka community, a building that was not

in use and a special vehicle of the SES were damaged.

Kirovohrad oblast

The military handed over four icons from the town of Maryinka, Donetsk oblast, to the garrison church in Kropyvnytskyi: “St George the Victorious,” “The Saviour,” “The Living Vine” and the icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary “Sweet Kiss.”  They were found in a church destroyed by the russian army.

Poltava oblast

A soldier from the Kozelshchyna community, Andriy Shulyk, was killed while defending Ukraine from the russian army in Donetsk oblast. The man served as a soldier in an assault support platoon of a mountain assault company.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported that at night in Cherkasy oblast, defenders shot down two russian UAVs.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Today, 18 April, the russian army shelled the village of Bilenke, launching five artillery strikes and one drone attack. As a result of the shelling, one person was injured, and residential buildings were damaged.

This morning, russian forces shelled frontline communities in Zaporizhzhia oblast with artillery. As a result of the russian attack on Stepnohirsk community, a high-voltage power line was damaged. As of 13:30, power supply had been restored to most of the community.

Yesterday, 17 April, the occupiers launched 427 strikes on 13 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces conducted seven airstrikes on Stepnohirsk, Lobkove, Huliaipole, and Novodarivka. 281 UAVs of various modifications attacked Bilenke, Lobkove, Kamianske, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Four MLRS attacks targeted Lobkove, Bilohiria, and Shcherbaky. There were 135 artillery strikes on Bilenke, Lobkove, Kamianske, Maly Shcherbaky, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Novodarivka. Twelve reports about damage to houses, apartments, vehicles, and infrastructure were received.

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian defenders repelled an enemy attack near Shcherbaky towards Orikhiv.

Starting 18 April, the streets of Zaporizhzhia will be patrolled by police drones. With the help of UAVs, police will quickly analyze the situation, detect suspicious behavior, and even warn citizens of potential threats.

Mykolaiv oblast

Yesterday morning, 17 April, at around 08:04, the enemy attacked the city of Mykolaiv with a “Shahed 131/136” UAV. As a result of its downing and the blast wave, windows of a private house were damaged. No casualties were reported.

Yesterday, 17 April, at 19:25, the enemy attacked Mykolaiv again with a strike drone, the type of which is being identified. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in warehouse premises on the territory of an industrial enterprise. Additionally, the russians attacked Kutsurub community four times with FPV drones and shelled it twice with artillery. They also conducted one artillery strike on Ochakiv community.

In the morning of 17 April, the enemy attacked Voznesensk community with a “Shahed 131/136” UAV. At night, around 22:00, the russian army attacked Voznesensk region with a ballistic missile, presumably an “Iskander-M”. No casualties were reported.

Odesa oblast

As of 6:00 am on 18 April, there were 3 carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles in the Mediterranean Sea with a total salvo capacity of up to 26 missiles.

Over the past day, 6 vessels passed through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea in russia’s interests, while 1 more ship entered the Sea of Azov.

On 17 April 17, artist Nina Terenko’s solo exhibition opened at the Odesa Literary Museum gallery. Originally from Yalta, she now lives and works in Odesa. The exhibition is titled “Ukraine Will Win…”. In her free time, Ms. Nina creates paintings, and all proceeds from her work are donated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Kherson oblast

On 18 April, 2025, at approximately 6:00 a.m., russian forces shelled the town of Beryslav with artillery. As a result of the attack, a 70-year-old resident was killed. The man was in his home at the time of the attack.

Around noon, russian troops attacked a civilian car in Kherson with a drone. Two men sustained blast injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds to their limbs and torsos. Their condition is assessed by doctors as moderate.

At approximately 7:45 a.m. russian forces used a drone to attack a woman in Kherson. She suffered a blast injury and shrapnel wound to her forearm.

In the morning, russian troops also attacked a car near Beryslav with a drone. A 62-year-old man sustained a concussion, a blast injury, and a closed head trauma.

A woman required medical assistance after being hit by a russian strike in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson around 9:00 a.m. She was diagnosed with a blast injury, a closed head trauma, and a concussion.

Two more women sought medical attention after suffering injuries during the russian combined attack on Kherson on April 16. Both were diagnosed with concussions and blast injuries.

Another woman, aged 42, turned to a hospital after being wounded in a russian shelling of Kherson the previous day. She was diagnosed with a blast injury and a concussion.

A resident of Bilozerka sought medical help after being injured in a russian shelling on 15 April. The 35-year-old man sustained a blast injury, a concussion, and a brain concussion.

Yesterday ,russian army attacked Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Veletenske, Vysoke, Vysuntsi, Havrylivka, Davydiv Brid, Dariivka, Dniprovske, Zolota Balka, Zelenivka, Zmiivka, Ivanivka, Inhulets, Inzhenerne, Kizomys, Kozatske, Komyshany, Kostyrka, Lvove, Mykilske, Mykolaivka, Monastyrske, Molodizhne, Nadezhdivka, Novoberyslav, Novooleksandrivka, Novovorontsovka, Odradokamianka, Osokorivka, Poniativka, Romashkove, Sablukivka, Sadove, Stanislav, Stiike, Sofiivka, Tokarivka, Tiahynka, Chervonyi Maiak, Chornobaivka, Shliakhove, and the city of Kherson. As a result of the attacks, nine apartment buildings, ten private homes, an ambulance, and several private vehicles were damaged. Four people were killed, and 25 were wounded — including one child.

Ukraine’s Southern Defense Forces continue targeting enemy positions, firepower, and rear areas. Over the past day, russian losses amounted to 95 personnel, 18 artillery systems, 27 units of automotive and armored vehicles, 1 tank, 14 drones, 4 electronic warfare stations, 4 boats, 6 motorcycles, 2 ATVs, 1 surveillance camera, 2 UAV control antennas, 3 communication antennas, 5 Starlink antennas and 2 generators. 52 dugouts/shelters, one checkpoint, and a firing position were destroyed.

The community of Assen, a city in the Netherlands, donated equipment, tools, and medical supplies to support the community of Novovorontsovka. The local School of Arts also received musical instruments.

Volyn oblast

The RMA held an online meeting with representatives of the French partner city of Saint-Etienne. They discussed the vision of potential cooperation, possible formats of interaction, including the signing of an agreement on interregional cooperation and the organization of study visits.

Zakarpattia oblast

Military veterans Serhii Belyi, Valerii-Myroslav Opalenyk and Vitalii Pidvysotskyi were awarded with the Honor and Valor of Zakarpttia breastplate.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Ivano-Frankivsk community sent 20 FPV drones to the 79th Battalion of the 102nd Brigade on Zaporizhia oblast.

Lviv oblast

Entrepreneur Volodymyr Chuchvara from Zhovkva donated EUR 3,000 to the military. The Agrofirma Apostol LLC donated UAH 50,000 to the military.

Residents of Zhovtanetsk community sent plate carriers, uniform sets, shoes, a tactical backpack, medical equipment, turnstiles, first aid kits and other necessary items to defenders; representatives of the community’s education department and educators sent a car to the front line, which they filled with products; to perform combat missions, residents of the community gave a car for the defender and their fellow countryman; with the funds collected during the holidays in the community, 4 cars were purchased and sent to different directions of the front.

Pidberiztsi community sent an EcoFlow charging station worth over UAH 39,000. The community also donated a car worth UAH 88,000 to the military.

Rivne oblast

A meeting with families of the deceased, missing, and veterans was held in Shpanivska community. During the event, specialized specialists answered questions related to military search algorithms and spoke about the activities of state and international structures.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil community sent 50 FPV drones, 2 EcoFlow, Easter treats and amulets prepared by students to the military.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

The 141st rally in support of defenders and civilians captured by russia took place in the center of Khmelnytskyi. The indefinite action takes place every Friday from 12:00am to 13:00pm.

Chernivtsi oblast

Bukovina charitable organizations can receive compensation for purchased goods for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Chernivtsi RMA begins implementing a program to compensate for part of the cost of purchased dual-use goods (grant) to meet the needs of the Ukrainian defense forces.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Ukraine and the US signed a Memorandum of Intent to finalize and conclude an agreement on minerals.

Ukraine has signed five agreements with the EU. Three of them concern support for critical infrastructure for a total of EUR 300m, the others – on space cooperation and on Ukraine’s accession to the Treaty on Joint Procurement of Medical Protective Equipment.
