War in Ukraine today: latest news, 05 April 2025 (photo)

It has been the 1137 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The enemy, despite the significant losses suffered by our defenders, continues to try to break through the defences of Ukrainian troops.

On 5 April, there were 112 combat engagements on the frontline.

Artillery shelling from the territory of russia hit the vicinity of Khrinivka in Chernihiv oblast; Seredina-Buda, Baranovka, Kucherivka, Popivka, Porozok, Chuyivka, Prokhody, Hrabovske, Petrushivka, Mykhailivka and Maryine in Sumy oblast. In addition, the terrorist country’s aviation conducted airstrikes with guided bombs on the settlements of Petrushivka, Prokhody, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka and Bratenytsia in Sumy oblast.

Towards Kharkiv, Ukrainian troops repelled one enemy attack near Kamianka. Kozacha Lopan and Slatyne came under airstrikes.

 

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy actively attacked the positions of our troops five times near Petropavlivka, Zahryzove and Nova Kruglyakivka; our defenders successfully repelled three enemy attacks, two firefights are ongoing.

Towards Lyman, the invading army launched 16 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Novoiehorivka, Novolyubivka, Hrekivka, Nove, Katerynivka and in the vicinity of Zelena Dolyna. Two firefights are currently ongoing.

Towards Siverskyi, two enemy attacks were repelled by Ukrainian defenders in the  sector, and another firefight is still ongoing. Fighting took place near Bilohorivka and Verkhnekamianske.

Towards Kramatorsk, Ukrainian defenders repelled three enemy attacks in the vicinity of Chasiv Yar and Hryhorivka.

 

In the Toretsk sector, Russians tried to force our units out of their positions in the areas of Kurdyumivka, Toretsk, Dachne, Leonidivka and Druzhba, where the Defence Forces repelled nine attacks by Russian units; three more clashes are still ongoing.

Towards Pokrovsk, the enemy has made 46 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the vicinity of Kotliarivka, Valentynivka, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Lysivka, Shevchenko, Kotlyne, Udachne, Uspenivka, Novooleksandrivka and Bohdanivka. Defence forces are holding back the attack and have already repelled 39 enemy attacks.

Towards Novopavlivka, Ukrainian troops are repelling four attacks by the occupying army near Rozlyv and Burlatske, and one attempt to storm our positions has already been stopped.

Towards Hulyaypol, the enemy launched an airstrike on Komyshuvakha, and our troops repelled an attack near Rivne.

Towards Orikhiv, Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped four enemy attacks near Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky and in the direction of Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka.

In Kursk oblast, Ukrainian defenders repelled six enemy attacks, and four more combat engagements are ongoing. In addition, the enemy fired 195 artillery shells at the positions of our troops and settlements, including ten from multiple launch rocket systems, and launched six air strikes, dropping 14 guided bombs.

Towards Kherson, the enemy did not conduct any active offensive.

Sergey Lysak, Head of Dnipropetrovsk oblast, says that a Russian strike on 4 April on Kryvyi Rih killed 18 people, including 9 children. More than 60 people sustained injuries of varying severity, including 12 children.

Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets reports that another 45 citizens from the temporarily occupied territory, russia and belarus have been returned home. Among the evacuees are people who needed special conditions for safe movement.

 

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Four firefights took place towards Kharkiv yesterday in the vicinity of Vovchansk, Fiholivka and towards Kamianka.

 Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, informs that towards Kupiansk, there were four occupiers’ attacks on 4 April. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near Holubivka, Nova Kruhlyakivka and Zahryzove. 

The RMA said that on 5 April, the russian military struck the village of Ivashky in Zolochiv community with four FPV drones. Two private houses, outbuildings and power grids were damaged as a result of the strike. The shelling of the village has been going on for three days in a row.

 Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, informs that in Kharkiv oblast, on 4 April, a 72-year-old resident of the village of Shevchenkove, Kupiansk region, was injured in a Russian Geranium-2 drone attack.

As a result of an attack by a drone in the village of Huriev Kozachok, Zolochiv community, two private houses and outbuildings were damaged and a car was destroyed. Two guided aerial bombs were fired in the village of Baranovka.

The enemy attacked the town of Kupiansk with unmanned aerial vehicles, damaging two ambulances and the premises of an educational institution.

The town of Izium and the village of Znamianka in Novovodolazh community were attacked by russian drones, which caused fires in the open.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, informs that during the full-scale invasion, russian missiles and drones have killed 98 children in Kharkiv. Another child was killed by Russians yesterday – a 12-year-old girl.

For the third day in a row, Kharkiv has been under massive attacks by enemy UAVs – all rescue operations at the sites of the hits have been completed. On the evening of 3 April, 5 people died of their injuries, including a family with a 12-year-old girl, as a result of a strike by enemy UAVs. Thirty-four people were injured, nine of whom were taken to hospitals in the city overnight. Currently, four of the injured remain in hospitals under medical supervision. Apartment blocks and 10 cars were damaged.

The regional State Emergency Service informs that on 5 April, a truck hit an unknown explosive object on a dirt road in Izium region, damaging a car and seriously injuring the 39-year-old driver. The explosion took place on the outskirts of Balakliia. 

 

Donetsk oblast

Frontline

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs that the number of russian attacks towards Lyman is 32, while towards Pokrovsk is five less. These are the highest figures on the frontline in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. 

Luhansk military operational and tactical group reported that in the morning, the russian army attacked towards Siversk. The enemy tried to attack using a buggy. Already half of the personnel who attempted to assault have been killed.

Luhansk operational and tactical group reported that the Russian army is increasing the number of infantry, equipment and shelling of Toretsk in order to completely capture the town. This is one of the main directions of the russian offensive in Donetsk oblast. Ukrainian troops are holding their positions in the city, despite the occupiers’ attempts to completely seize it. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, russian troops stormed Ukrainian positions towards Toretsk 20 times over the past day.

 

The enemy has reduced the number of attacks by small infantry groups, instead conducting methodical shelling of all positions and drone operators’ positions. The occupiers are attacking the positions of the Ukrainian military with kamikaze drones, artillery and aircraft, and the city of Pokrovsk is constantly under attack. Ukrainian reconnaissance men have recorded the accumulation of russians in large temporarily occupied cities of Donetsk oblast. This was reported by the battalion of the 68th separate hunting brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush.

In March 2025, the Ukrainian military destroyed 578 vehicles used by the russian army on the Siverskyi, Kramatorsk and Toretsk frontlines in Donetsk region. In addition, the Defence Forces destroyed motorcycles, buggies and ATVs used by the russian army to transport infantry. One of the motorcycle attacks was recently repelled by the Ukrainian military towards Kramatorsk.

Shelling

Donetsk region’s State Emergency Service reported that at dawn on 5 April, russian troops shelled the private sector of the village of Tikhonivka in Kramatorsk region. Building structures and belongings on the territory of a private household caught fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire.

Sergey Gorbunov, Head of the city’s military administration, reports that on 5 April, at 00:10, the russian army dropped a FAB-250 on the town of Kostiantynivka. The strike damaged two private houses, a power line and an educational institution. Hostile shelling on 4 April damaged 11 private houses, a cultural centre, the facade of an educational institution, DTEK’s power line and two cars in Kostiantynivka.

 The city’s military administration reported that russian troops shelled Pokrovsk community three times. The occupiers attacked Rodynske at 6:26am – a man born in 1964 died in a house fire. At 8:40, the enemy dropped a FAB-250 on Shakhtarskyi neighbourhood in Pokrovsk and destroyed the entrance of a house. Damage was also recorded to a multi-storey building in Hirnyk neighbourhood.

Vadym Filashkin, Head of Donetsk regional military administration, reports that on 4 April, russians killed three residents of Donetsk oblast: two in Zarichne and one in Rodynske. Another person was injured.

In Volnovakha region, a house was damaged in Yalta Komarska community.

In Pokrovskregion,  2 houses were damaged in Bilytske of the Dobropillia community; a multi-storey building was damaged in Pokrovsk; a person was killed and a private house was damaged in Rodynske.

In Kramatorsk region, 2 people were killed in Zarichne of Lyman community, 1 house was destroyed and 2 damaged; 14 houses were damaged in Droisheve, a recreation centre was damaged in Shchurove; 8 houses, a gas pipeline and a power line were damaged in Tikhonivka of Mykolaiv community; a house, a power line and 2 cars were damaged in Kostiantynivka; 8 houses were damaged in Bilokuzmynivka, and an administrative building was damaged in Viroliubivka.

Bakhmut region, 4 houses were damaged in Siversk.

In total, russians fired 15 times at localities in Donetsk oblast over the last day. 189 people were evacuated from the frontline, including 61 children.

The regional police reports that on 4 April, 37 civilian objects were damaged as a result of shelling in Donetsk oblast by the russian federation, including 29 residential buildings. 

The city military administration reported about one killed person in Myrnohrad community due to shelling on 2 April 2025.

Other

Oleksandr Kuropiatnyk, Head of Komarske village military administration, says that only 587 residents remained in the community. Over a month, more than a thousand people have left the villages and towns of the community due to russian shelling. Prior to the full-scale war, the community numbered 6,500-7,000.

The regional military administration said that Donetsk oblast has received 11 charging stations from UNHCR. “They will be used to support IDPs and critical infrastructure enterprises in the region.

Luhansk oblast

The russian army used all available weapons on the Ukrainian frontline. The enemy fired at least 30 times from cannon artillery, used multiple launch rocket systems, attacked twice from the air, and launched 127 drones at Ukrainian defenders.

Artem Lysohor,  Head of Luhansk  Regional Military Administration, reports that the enemy’s assault was repelled from Bilohorivka towards Siversk. Towards Lyman, russians attacked 39 times – near Nadiia and Hrekivka. 

The RMA reports that in March 2025, the amount of expenditures from the budget of Luhansk Oblast communities to support the Ukrainian Defence Forces increased. During the month, expenditures increased from UAH 277 million to UAH 464 million. In three months of 2025, the administration allocated UAH 238 million for drones and UAH 46.5 million for electronic warfare equipment.

Artem Lysohor,  Head of Luhansk  Regional Military Administration, reports that a significant majority of the population of Lysychansk has not been able to use centralised water supply services for more than 2.5 years. The system was destroyed by russians back in 2022. It has been restored only in certain neighbourhoods of the city. However, water utility employees claim a debt of more than RUB 30 million accumulated by local residents.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The Regional Military Administration reported that the enemy attacked Kyiv oblast using a UAV at night. In Brovary district, a private house was damaged by falling debris. A fire on the grass floor was also extinguished. No casualties were reported.

The KCMA reported that during a night attack by russian drones in the Desnianskyi district of Kyiv, near the city limits, debris fell and a fire broke out. The fire has been extinguished. Debris was also seen falling in the Dnipro district of the capital. 

According to the city military administration, air raid alerts were announced in Kyiv 7 times during the week. 104 enemy UAVs were spotted in the capital and on its outskirts, 35 of which were destroyed. No shelling was recorded in the city, and the infrastructure was not damaged.

The Chiefs of Defence of France and the United Kingdom, General Thierry Burkhardt and Admiral Anthony Radakin, met in Kyiv with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and the military leadership of Ukraine. According to Thierry Burkhardt, the purpose of the meetings is to maintain support for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, define a long-term strategy for the restoration and transformation of the army model, and discuss options for security guarantees developed by France and Britain as part of the international coalition.

After russia’s drone attack on Kyiv on 23 March, residents of Dniprovskyi district submitted 171 applications for one-time financial assistance. In particular, 64 applications were from apartment owners of a 9-storey building that was hit by a russian drone and caused a fire and significant damage. The rest of the applications were from residents of neighbouring buildings who also suffered damage as a result of the attack.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that the ninth graduation ceremony of military chaplains was held in the capital at the Sophia of Kyiv National Reserve. The chaplains have successfully completed a training course for tactical level officers on military chaplaincy.

The National Specialised Hospital ‘Okhmatdyt’ reported that the inpatient department of physical and rehabilitation medicine has been launched. Now patients will be able to receive continuous rehabilitation care within the hospital, covering all stages of treatment. 

Zhytomyr oblast

With the support of the U-LEAD with Europe Programme, the village of Hladkovychi in the Korosten rayon will reconstruct and modernise a kindergarten that suffered from rocket and bomb attacks. The total estimated budget of the project is UAH 81.8 million. Germany will provide UAH 2.2 million of this sum.

In Zhytomyr oblast, as part of the implementation of the State Veterans Policy Strategy:

– 122 local support programmes are in place, with more than UAH 133 million allocated in the 2025 budget to finance them.

– More than 80,000 military personnel have received treatment.

– 17 dental clinics provide free treatment, and six hospitals offer free dental prosthetics. The ‘Zir’ clinic provides free surgeries for wounded defenders;

– 244 families of Ukrainian defenders received UAH 507 million to purchase housing;

– More than 460 children of combatants entered vocational education institutions, and more than a thousand veterans and 2,000 children of military personnel entered professional pre-university and higher education institutions;

– Last year, 11 regional competitions for war veterans were held, Zhytomyr veterans participated in the Invictus Games and the Paralympics, and the Dragon rowing team won 5 sets of gold medals at the European Championships;

– Veterans are involved in teaching the subjects of Defence of Ukraine, History of Ukraine, Physical Education and participation in educational activities in schools and universities..

Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration reported that Viktoria Honcharuk, the ‘Hospitallers’ medical battalion’s paramedic from Baranivka, Zhytomyr oblast, received the ‘Ukrainian Pravda 100: The Power of Women’ award. She was recognised in the category “Defenders”.

Sumy oblast

On 4 and 5 April, the russian army shelled the residential infrastructure of the border town of Seredyna-Buda. The city council reported that over the two days, 10 private houses and 10 apartments were damaged. On 5 April, the enemy shelled the community in the morning with artillery and mortars, and a house burned down due to a drone strike.

Sumy police reported that on the night of 5 April, the russian military attacked a recreation centre in the village of Buimerivka, Okhtyrka region, with drones. The attack damaged the premises of a restaurant and a hotel.

The enemy attacked one of the settlements of Chernechchyna community. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured in the shelling, but civilian infrastructure was damaged. According to the RMA, russians struck the community with four UAVs, causing a fire at the site of the attack.

In total, at night and in the morning, russians fired 53 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast. There were 68 attacks. Yunakivka, Miropilllia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Hlukhivka, Shalyhine, Chernechchynska, Khutir-Mykhailivka, Seredyna-Budka communities were shelled.

On the night of 5 April, Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners shot down 7 enemy Shahed UAVs in the sky over Sumy oblast.

On 4 April, the russian military fired 123 times in Sumy oblast. There were 207 attacks. The enemy fired from mortars (39 explosions), MLRS (37 explosions), artillery (20 explosions), LNG (6 explosions), carried out UAV attacks (2 explosions), FPV drone attacks (39 explosions), launched UAVs (32 explosions), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs (19 explosions). There were 15 communities under hostile fire: Sumy, Yunakivka, Bilopilliaa, Mykolaiv, Krasnopillia, Boromlianska, Velyka Pysarivka, Putivlka Nova Sloboda, Hlukhivka, Esman, Shalyhine, Khutir-Mykhailivka, Seredyno-Buda, Znob-Novgorodka.

Sumy RMA reported that the enemy attacked Seredina-Buda community with FPV drones and dropped explosives from UAVs (11 explosions in total). As a result of the attack, 8 private houses, one apartment building and a car were damaged.

The RMA reports that over the past week, the enemy launched more than 400 guided aerial bombs at the territory of Sumy oblast. Since the beginning of the year, the region’s air defence units have eliminated 834 drones, 30 of which were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders over the week.

Chernihiv oblast

The North Operational Command reports that on 4 April, two civilians were injured in Kovpynka village as a result of an FPV drone strike, and a car was damaged. In Yasna Poliana and Medvedivka, the russian military damaged one private house each. 

Chernihiv border guard detachment reported that on 4 April, russian troops attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Novhorod-Siverskyi, Semenivka and Snovsk. There were 86 attacks. The enemy fired mortars, FPV drones and dropped explosive devices from UAVs. 19 settlements were under enemy fire. In the village of Bronyve, Semenivka community, two private houses were damaged as a result of an explosive device dropped from a UAV.

The Security Service of Ukraine served a russian serviceman in absentia a notice of suspicion of robbery and torture of civilians in Chernihiv oblast in February-March 2022. According to the investigation, during the occupation of one of the settlements of the region, Nikita Zheludkov, commander of the reconnaissance company of the 35th separate motorised rifle brigade, together with other russian military detained local residents and took them to the cellar of one of the captured yards. There, they took away people’s valuables and tortured them.

A memorial sign in honour of the nine servicemen of the regional TCC and JV who were killed during the defence of Chernihiv was unveiled near the village of Trysviatska Sloboda. It was there, at the frontline position called ‘Klever’, that the soldiers held the defence against russian subversive reconnaissance groups for 38 days under fire from artillery, tanks and aircraft. Their task was to prevent the russian army from entering Chernihiv and block russian access to the road to Kyiv.

Vyacheslav Chaus, Head of the RMA, says that on 4 April, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Canada to Ukraine Natalie Tsmoc and UNHCR Representative in Ukraine Caroline Lindholm Billing visited Chernihiv. The guests saw with their own eyes the consequences of the recent shelling of the regional centre and the 2 floors of an apartment building that were destroyed. Pierre Elbrun, Special Envoy of the President of France for Economic Assistance and Reconstruction of Ukraine, also visited Chernihiv oblast. 

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Counsil, reported that a rocket attack in Kryvyi Rih killed 18 people. Among them are 9 children. 61 people were injured, including 12 children. At night, the russians began to terrorise Kryvyi Rih with drones again. A 56-year-old woman was killed in a massive attack. Another 7 people were injured. 

Dozens of high-rise buildings, private houses, garages, dozens of cars, several playgrounds, businesses, educational institutions, and infrastructure were damaged in the city. In the evening and at night, the occupiers also shelled Nikopol with artillery and drones. They targeted Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrovske communities. The infrastructure was damaged. The enemy also attacked the Hrushevka community of Kryvyi Rih region with a drone. A transport company was damaged.

Mala Mykhailivka community of Synelnykove region was also hit. Private houses were damaged.

Today three regions of the oblast were under enemy fire. The occupants shelled Nikopol, Synelnykivka and Kryvyi Rih regions. 

Over three dozen artillery and drone strikes were made in Nikopol region during the day. 

They targeted the region centre, Myrove, Marhanets, Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrovske communities. 

A 46-year-old man was injured. Three apartment buildings, three private houses, an enterprise, infrastructure, an outbuilding and a car were damaged. The occupiers also attacked Mezhova community of Synelnykove region with a drone. A private house was damaged. According to the updated information, three people were injured in the morning as a result of a drone strike on the Mala Mykhailivka community. Among them is a child, a 13-year-old boy. 18 private houses and an outpatient clinic were damaged. The occupiers also launched a drone at Zelenodolsk community of Kryvyi Rih region.​

Kirovohrad oblast

Andrii Raikovych Head of Kirovohrad RMA, said that at night in Kirovohrad oblast, defenders shot down 6 russian UAVs. 

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported that Ukrainian defenders shot down 3 russian UAVs in Cherkasy oblast.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on 5 April, the Defence Forces repelled 5 russian attacks on Orikhiv and Hulyaipole regions. In particular, russian troops attacked near Rivnopillia, close to Stepove and Mali Shcherbaky, and in the direction of Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka. An airstrike was also carried out on Komyshuvakha.

4 russian attacks near Mali Shcherbaky and Stepove were repelled by Ukrainian forces on Orikhiv region. On Huliaipole region, russian troops attacked twice in the areas of Novosilka and toward Novopil.

Based on the information provided by the RMA, on 4 April, the russian military shelled Kushuhum community in Zaporizhzhia oblast, damaging at least 6 private houses. There were no casualties reported.

Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that on 4 April, russian forces carried out 497 strikes on 13 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. In particular, 300 drones targeted Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, Piatykhatky, Lobkove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Novodarivka and Preobrazhenka.

Mykolaiv oblast

According to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on 4 April at 2pm, russian forces attacked Halytsynove community by an FPV drone and struck Kutsurub community 3 times. There were no injuries reported.

Odesa oblast

Referring to the Ukrainian Navy, as of 6am on 5 April, russia maintains 1 warship in the Black Sea, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo capacity of up to 4 missiles.

Kherson oblast

According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, russian forces dropped explosives from a drone on Tomyna Balka village in Kherson oblast. A 41-year-old man sustained a blast injury and a head wound. He received medical assistance and was prescribed outpatient treatment.

In Antonivka, a suburb of Kherson, russian troops attacked by a drone. A 59-year-old woman suffered a blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the abdomen.

In Chervonyi Maiak village, russian troops dropped explosives from a drone on a man, who was hospitalised for necessary treatment.

Roman Mrochko, Head of the CMA, informed that in Antonivka near Kherson, 2 people were injured by a russian drone strike. Both sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. A 60-year-old man is in serious condition.

The RMA reported that as a result of a russian drone attack yesterday, a 61-year-old resident of Antonivka was wounded. Today she was hospitalised in serious condition with a blast injury, leg wounds and a fractured shinbone.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, stated that on 4 April, russian forces shelled 32 settlements in Kherson oblast. A store, 5 apartment buildings, 9 private houses and vehicles were damaged. 5 people were injured.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

The Military Unit A 4808 received 2 DJI Mavic 3 pro quadcopters, 10 Bezpeka pro FPV drones, a Starlink satellite modem, a MaXpeedingRods inventory generator and an EcoFlow Delta 2 charging station from Lutsk community.

Zakarpattia oblast

Entrepreneurs of the oblast were presented with the To the Children of Our Defenders charitable platform. The project, initiated by the Ukrainian Helicopters airline, is aimed at supporting children who lost their parents due to the war.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA reported that a Scansia fire truck was donated to the Local Fire Protection Municipal Institution of Perehinsk community, together with the Military Chaplains of the Carpathians NGO.

Lviv oblast

In Zhovtanetsk community, parishioners of the Epiphany Church of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Novy Stav sent UAH 35,800 to the EW; students of the 2nd grade of Zhovtanetsk Lyceum collected UAH 7,000 for the soldiers; the RADEM CONCEPT LLC sent UAH 60,000 to the EW; students of the 8th grade of Kolodenetsk Gymnasium sent UAH 8,000, which they collected during a charity fair; in Remeniv, during a humorous event, residents raised almost UAH 47,000.

During the charity event For You, Warrior!, which took place in Sokilnyk, they raised UAH 166,875, which will be used to purchase starlinks.

Drohobych Regional Air Force together with the KOLO CF sent 4 cars to the front to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Rivne oblast

Rivne Oblast IDP Council has approved a plan to support displaced persons for 2025. The IDP Councils, of which there are 54 in Rivne oblast, aim to integrate and effectively support internally displaced persons in the oblast. In addition, there are 31 Resilience Centers in Rivne oblast, where IDPs are provided with meetings, training, and psychological support within the framework of the How are you? program.

Ternopil oblast

Ternopil City Council reported that 136 Ternopil military personnel will receive a one-time cash grant of UAH 10,000 for equipment.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi has increased spending on the Families of Heroes program. The winning projects of Civil Initiatives have been approved, which will receive funding of almost UAH 1.6m. The key direction is support for the military, families of the fallen, prisoners of war, and missing persons. These projects are already beginning to be implemented.

Chernivtsi oblast

Nedoboyivska community and Bashtanska community, Mykolaiv oblast, signed a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of the Side by Side: United Communities national project. The memorandum enshrined the implementation of joint initiatives, attracting additional resources, and creating new opportunities for residents of both communities.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Ukraine will receive over €15m for European integration processes. The 3-year program aims to provide support to Ukrainian state bodies responsible for implementing reforms on the path to EU membership.

Viktor Lyashko, Head of the Ministry of Health, announced that the Czech Republic plans to invest over €100m in the modernization of Ukrainian hospitals.
