It has been the 1100 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

Since the beginning of the day, the total number of combat engagements along the entire front line has reached 88.

The occupiers continue to use aviation, including dropping aerial bombs, and conducting ground attacks. The Defense Forces are holding the lines and taking necessary measures to prevent a breakthrough in the defense.

The invaders have not ceased using artillery on regions bordering Russia. Under enemy fire were the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Bratenytsia, Starykove, Stara Huta, Ulanove, and Slavgorod in Sumy Oblast; Karpovychi, Arkhypivka, and Zarychchia in Chernihiv Oblast.

In the Kharkiv direction, our defenders repelled two enemy assaults towards Vovchansk and Kindrashivka.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked near the settlements of Yampilivka, Torske, and Kolodiazi. Since the beginning of the day, there have been four combat engagements in this direction, all successfully repelled by our defenders.

In the Siversk direction, near Bilohorivka, the Defense Forces successfully repelled one enemy assault. The settlement of Siversk was hit by guided aerial bomb strikes.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the Defense Forces are repelling an enemy attempt to advance near Vasyukivka. The enemy carried out guided bomb airstrikes on Kramatorsk.

In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked our forces’ positions eight times near Krymske and Toretsk. Four combat engagements are still ongoing. Additionally, the settlement of Kostiantynivka was hit by guided bomb airstrikes.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 35 attacks on our defenders’ positions in the areas of Berezivka, Myrne, Promin, Lysivka, Pokrovsk, Novoukrainka, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Nadiivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Zaporizhzhia, and Bohdanivka, with ten combat engagements still ongoing. The aggressor used 15 guided bombs on the settlements of Oleksiivka, Pokrovsk, Udachne, and Zvirove.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, our defenders repelled five attacks near the settlements of Kostiantynopil and Burlatske.

In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy became more active in the areas of Novopil and Charivne, but our defenders successfully repelled four attacks on our positions, with two more engagements still ongoing. Meanwhile, the enemy carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Kamianske, Zaliznychne, Hulyaipole, and Novopil.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked our defenders seven times in the areas of Stepove, Piatykhatky, Novoandriivka, and Kamianske and launched an airstrike with unguided rockets near Novoandriivka.

In the Kupiansk and Prydniprovske directions, the enemy has not conducted offensive actions since the beginning of the day.

Four combat engagements took place today in the Kursk direction. Additionally, the enemy carried out 12 airstrikes, dropped 18 guided bombs, and conducted 191 artillery shellings, including 12 from multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).


President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a law on the employment of people with disabilities. This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy. The law aims to ensure equal opportunities for people with disabilities in the labor market and provide systematic support.

Over the three years of full-scale war, Ukraine has inflicted at least 104 damages to Russia’s oil industry infrastructure. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR). In total, at least 19 Russian oil refineries, 36 oil depots, 5 oil pumping stations, and other facilities were hit.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

Frontline Update

Yesterday, on the Kharkiv sector, the enemy attempted five assaults to break through the defensive lines of Ukrainian forces towards Vovchansk, Stroivka, and Dvorichna, according to the Regional Military Administration (OVA).

On the Kupiansk sector, Russian forces launched five attacks, which were repelled by Ukrainian defenders near Petropavlivka and Zahryzove.

Shelling

A 120-square-meter fire broke out during the day in Khatnie, Kupiansk district, due to the impact of a Russian drone, reported the Kharkiv State Emergency Service (SES).

“Rescuers, working under the threat of repeated strikes, swiftly extinguished the fire,” the SES statement said.

At approximately 3:40 PM, Russian forces struck the village of Slatyne in the Derhachi community with a guided aerial bomb (KAB), reported local head Viacheslav Zadorenko. The strike hit an open area within the settlement. No reports of casualties or damage have been received so far.

A Russian KAB strike on February 26, around 10:50 PM, in Izium district, Borova community, the village of Borova, hit an open area, damaging two ambulances and shattering windows in a building. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Over the past 24 hours, the enemy used 10 guided aerial bombs and 11 drones of various types against civilians in the Kharkiv region.

Between 9:50 PM and 10:00 PM, Russian forces attacked Bohodukhiv district, Zolochiv community, striking:

  • Three KAB bombs in an open area near Dovzhyk village,
  • One KAB bomb near Fesky village,
  • Two KAB bombs near Orishanka village.

No reports of casualties or destruction have been received.

At 6:00 PM, Russian forces attacked Kozacha Lopan, Derhachi community, Kharkiv district, damaging a private house.

At 4:10 PM, Klynova-Novoselivka, Zolochiv community, Bohodukhiv district, was hit by FPV drones, damaging two private houses, outbuildings, and power networks.

At 3:33 PM, Russian forces struck Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district, with a KAB bomb hitting a residential area, damaging 35 private houses and 10 outbuildings. A man and a woman suffered acute stress reactions.

At 2:10 PM, Russian forces fired Grad MLRS at Kindrashivka, Kindrashivka community, Kupiansk district, damaging a house.

At 1:10 PM, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Kupiansk community, Kupiansk district, was shelled, destroying a house.

Other Updates

The evacuation of civilians from unsafe areas continues, according to the OVA.

Over the past year:

  • 7,500 people were evacuated from the Kupiansk sector, including 487 children.
  • 4,500 people were evacuated from the Borova sector, including 560 children.

In the first two months of 2025, a total of 2,300 people have been evacuated, nearly 300 of them children.

Authorities are considering expanding the evacuation zone to include the Velykyi Burluk sector. Currently, 352 settlements are designated for evacuation.

By the end of the year, 28 underground schools are planned for completion in the Kharkiv region. Applications have been submitted for funding to build 23 more underground schools. Additionally, project documentation has been developed for the construction of another 24 schools.

Donetsk oblast

Frontline Update

On the Pokrovsk sector, the number of Russian assaults has increased to 33 in the past 24 hours. Russian forces attacked towards the settlements of Tarasivka, Novotoretske, Myroliubivka, Promin, Leontovychi, Kotlyne, Udachne, Nadiivka, and Uspenivka, according to the General Staff.

On the Novopavlivka sector, Russian troops carried out 19 attacks targeting Kostiantynopil, Rozdolne, Shevchenko, and Burlatske.

Shelling

From 11:20 AM to 12:00 PM, Russian forces shelled Kostiantynivka with barrel artillery. A 32-year-old man was killed in his home. Around 1:00 PM, Russian troops struck civilian areas with two Smerch MLRS rockets, injuring four people: men aged 48, 62, and 70, and an 82-year-old woman. The attack damaged private homes, apartment building facades, garages, a passenger car, a minibus, outbuildings, a factory facade, a church, warehouses, an administrative building, as well as power grids and a gas pipeline.

In the morning, Russian forces dropped two FAB-250 bombs on Kramatorsk. One hit an industrial area, while the other struck a residential neighborhood. A 70-year-old man suffered multiple shrapnel wounds. The attack damaged 25 residential buildings, a store, a beauty salon, an educational institution, a bank building, two gas pipelines, three power lines, and four vehicles.

A man was killed during the shelling of the village of Torske in the Lyman community, Donetsk region, according to Anastasiia Medvedeva, spokesperson for the regional prosecutor’s office.

In Kramatorsk, one person sustained minor injuries and received the necessary medical assistance, reported Honcharenko, head of the Military Administration. Russian forces carried out two strikes on the city at 10:10 AM, targeting the residential sector and industrial zone. Preliminary reports indicate that over 20 residential buildings were damaged.

Overnight, Russian forces struck five settlements:

  • Pokrovsk: One person killed, one injured; a private house was damaged.
  • Kostiantynivka: Two private houses, an administrative building, an auto repair shop, six garages, civilian vehicles, and communications infrastructure were damaged.
  • Bilozerke: An educational institution was damaged.
  • Sloviansk: No reported destruction.
  • Andriivka-Klevtsove, Komar community: Three enemy drones damaged a private house, a store, an educational institution, and a farm.

Russian forces launched 3,456 strikes on the frontline and residential areas. On February 26, the enemy shelled seven settlements: the cities of Kostiantynivka, Pokrovsk, Rodynske, and Siversk, as well as the villages of Bahatyr, Dovha Balka, and Illinivka. A total of 85 civilian structures were damaged, including 42 residential buildings.

Kostiantynivka was hit by 10 FAB-250 bombs, and the city was attacked twice with Smerch MLRS. Six civilians were killed, and ten others were injured. The attacks damaged 18 apartment buildings, 18 private houses, 2 educational institutions, 12 market stalls, a store, a pharmacy, a bank, a boiler house, 4 garages, and 5 civilian vehicles, as well as critical infrastructure and communications.

In Illinivka, two private houses and the power grid were damaged due to an FAB-250 bomb strike. In Pokrovsk, a private house was hit; in Rodynske, an apartment building and three garages were damaged. In Dovha Balka and Bahatyr, one private home in each village was affected.

Luhansk oblast

The enemy attempted to advance in the area of Hrekivka and Novolyubivka in the Lyman direction, with artillery support, striking five times. According to the Regional Military Administration, the Russians also deployed 219 UAVs.

In the so-called “LNR,” authorities have decided to ban photo and video recording of government buildings, local self-government offices, and their subordinate institutions. Additionally, it is prohibited to publish such materials online. Previously posted photos and videos will be removed within two weeks. However, the ban on recording objects whose locations have been well known for decades does not apply to everyone—an exception is made for media controlled by the occupiers.

In the villages within the Nyzhnioduvanska and Svatove communities, the occupiers are transporting ammunition and personnel to the frontline using donkeys.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

The RMA reported that Kyiv oblast was massively attacked by enemy UAVs at night. The alert lasted for almost 7 hours. The consequences of the attack were recorded in three oblast districts.

A fire broke out at an industrial enterprise in Boryspil district as a result of an enemy attack and has been extinguished. 

Warehouses, an elevator and two cars were damaged.

Two private houses were affected in Brovary district.

Reeds caught fire in an open area in Obukhiv district as a result of falling debris. The fire has been extinguished.

Hryhorii Ishchenko, head of the State Agency of Ukraine on Exclusion Zone Management, said that the agency plans to restore the central analytical laboratory and mobile laboratory, which were looted by russians during the occupation in 2022. The plans also include completing the modernisation of radiation monitoring systems.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the office of the Recruitment Centre of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Territorial Defence has opened in Khreshchatyk, Kyiv. The centre offers advice on vacancies, conditions of service and the admission process. Candidates can choose a unit, position and desired financial support.

On 27 February, the Crimean Platform opens the exhibition Shadow of Water, dedicated to the 11th anniversary of resistance to the occupation of Crimea, in Kyiv. The art project brings together more than 20 artists from all over Ukraine whose works explore memory as a form of resistance to occupation and reconnection with the temporarily lost peninsula.

The National Antarctic Science Centre reported that the National Cultural Centre ‘Ukrainian House’ is scheduled to premiere the film ‘Warriors of Science’ about Ukrainian polar explorers at the front and in the Antarctic on 27 February. The film was shortlisted for the Cinema For Victory National War Documentary Film Festival, which runs from 25 February to 2 March. 

Zhytomyr oblast

Zhytomyr City Council reported that the Centre for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine in Zhytomyr has a solar power plant, which allows the institution to be independent of power outages in the city, including those caused by russian shelling. The Centre also houses an operational dispatch service that receives all emergency and critical calls in oblast. Solar panels for the medical facility were provided by the Italian company ENEL as part of the European Commission’s Ray of Hope project.

The RMA reported that a renovated shelter and classroom were opened at Polissia National University. The project was made possible with the help of the international company CNH, a global manufacturer of agricultural machinery. The shelter can accommodate more than 100 people and is equipped with comfortable beanbag chairs and a table tennis table.

Recently, Zviahel community received another humanitarian aid from the German partner city of Sindelfingen. This time, the community’s communal facilities were replenished with the necessary equipment, including a powerful generator and a set of tools.

Sumy oblast

 The RMA reported that during night and morning, russians carried out 6 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 12 explosions: mortar shelling, UAV attacks, FPV-drone, dropping VOG from UAV. The attacks targeted Yunakivka, Lypova Dolyna, Hlukhiv, Shalyhyne, Khutir-Mykhaivskyi, Yamoil communites.

As a result of falling drone debris in Lypova Dolyna community, a private house was damaged.

On 27 February, anti-aircraft units in Sumy oblast shot down 8 enemy “Shahed” drones.

On 26 February, russians carried out 138 shelling attacks on areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 232 explosions. The enemy struck by mortars (74 explosions), artillery (48 explosions), MLRS (4 explosions), FPV-drones (35 explosions), dropped VOG from UAVs (52 explosions), carried out aerial bombardment of the NAR (20 explosions) and launched GAB (3 explosions).

On 26 February the attacks targeted 12 communities: Mykhailivka, Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Slobidka, Hlukhiv, Shalyhyne, Esman, Khutir-Mykhailivskyi, Seredyna-Buda.

In Mykolaivka community, as a result of shelling by MLRS, 2 people were injured. The premises of a lyceum, 13 private houses, and 4 civilian cars were damaged.

As a result of the shelling of Hlukhiv community, one person was injured. Two civilian cars, two private houses, and three non-residential buildings were damaged.

In Shostka region on 26 February, rescuers found the warhead of a drone on the roof of a five-story building, and nearby, they found drone debris. Rescuers evacuated 32 residents of the building, including 4 children. The State Emergency Service pyrotechnicians removed the explosive device for further disposal.

In Okhtyrka, the City Council reported that on 26 February, a mourning rally was held to mark the anniversary of the death of more than 70 people as a result of a russian airstrike three years ago. This was the first mass loss of people since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Residents came to pay tribute to the fallen at the Alley of Memory near the central cemetery and the destroyed barracks.

The Regional Military Administration informed that the first participants of the course on preparing citizens for national resistance have completed their training in Sumy oblast. The training sessions started at Sumy Regional Center for Population Preparation for National Resistance and lasted through January-February. Participants of the training program attended courses on basic military training, mine safety, and first aid.

Chernihiv oblast

Pavlo Miroshnychenko, Head of Koriukivka Regional Military Administration, reported that in Snovsk community, around 2am on 27 February, a russian drone was recorded falling. Its debris damaged power lines and residential buildings. According to Snovsk City Council, as of 3pm, 26 households had varying degrees of damage.

Chernihiv Police informed that during the night and morning of 27 February, russian forces attacked Koriukivka and Novhorod-Siverskyi regions. The enemy attacked by aerial bombs, attack drones, and artillery. As a result of the strikes, private houses, an apartment building, and civilian infrastructure were damaged.

On 26 February, russian troops attacked three border communities in Chernihiv oblast: Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk. A total of 49 strikes were recorded. The enemy used mortars and barrel artillery, FPV-drones, unguided aerial missiles (NAR), guided aerial bombs (GAB), and dropped explosive devices from UAVs. According to Chernihiv Border Detachment, twelve villages were under enemy fire.

In the territory of the Semenivka community, as a result of shelling in the village of Arkhypivka, a critical infrastructure facility was damaged; in Masheve, three private houses, an educational institution, and a medical facility were damaged. This was reported by the Department of Civil Protection and Defense Work of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.

Viacheslav Chaus,  Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, informed that the cessation of funding for USAID projects has not significantly impacted the recovery of Chernihiv oblast. According to him, more than 600 humanitarian missions and charitable organizations are currently working in the oblast, including those focused on recovery. Among them, over 200 organizations are international, including those working with support from the European Union.

Chernihiv Blood Bank was replenished by Belgians—the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Belgium to Ukraine, Luc Jacobs, and the director of the Enabel representation in Ukraine, Dirk Deprez. According to Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, the decision to share blood with Ukrainians was spontaneous and sincere.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk RMA, reported that during the night, the russian army attacked Marhanets community in Nikopol region. The enemy attacked by Grad MLRS, firing over 30 shells.

Today, the occupiers deliberately targeted civilian vehicles by kamikaze drones. In Marhanets community, a 51-year-old man was killed while traveling with his 52-year-old wife. She sustained severe injuries, and doctors are fighting for her life. Also, a 36-year-old man was wounded in Myrove community due to a russian drone strike.

In total, the enemy carried out 26 attacks in the region, also targeting the regional centre and Pokrov community. The attacks caused fires and damaged an apartment building, businesses, 11 private houses, 4 outbuildings, infrastructure, 3 vehicles, a gas pipeline, a power line, and a canopy.

Kirovohrad oblast

Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, informed that during the night, Ukrainian air defence forces were active over Kirovohrad oblast.

Vitalina Bevzenko, Spokesperson of the regional police, said that explosive specialists in Kirovohrad oblast neutralised a 50-kilogram thermobaric warhead from a russian drone that failed to detonate.

Poltava oblast

According to the RMA, a batch of UAVs was delivered to Ukrainian military forces in Poltava oblast.

Poltava currently has over 10,500 veterans, which is one in every 16 residents of the community. It is expected that after the war, veterans will make up one-sixth of the population.

Cherkasy oblast

Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, reported that during the night, Ukrainian defenders shot down 8 russian UAVs over Cherkasy oblast.

In Cherkasy and Uman regions, dry vegetation caught fire over several hectares due to falling debris.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian Air Force struck a russian UAV control centre near Nesterianka village in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Also, a command observation post near Kopani village was also hit.

On 26 February, the Defence Forces repelled 2 russian attacks in Orikhiv region and 3 more in Huliaipole region. Clashes occurred near Piatykhatky and Charivne.

Serhii Yarmak, Head of the RMA, informed that updated data confirms that russian shelling of Huliaipole on February 26 destroyed the local courthouse. A kindergarten, an industrial zone and residential buildings were damaged.

Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, reported that on 26 February  the russian military launched 593 strikes on 14 cities and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The attacks included a missile strike on Shyroke, 16 airstrikes on Mali Shcherbaky and Huliaipole and other attacks by MLRS, artillery and drones.

Mykolaiv oblast

According to the RMA, during the night of February 27, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down 7 Shahed 131/136 drones over Mykolaiv oblast.

On 26 February, russian forces attacked Kutsurub community 7 times by FPV drones. In Dmytrivka village, a house and a power line were damaged, cutting off electricity to 1,906 households. Power was restored at 4:27pm the same day.

Odesa oblast

According to the Ukrainian Navy, as of 27 February, there are no enemy ships in the Black Sea or the Sea of Azov. In the Mediterranean Sea, 4 enemy ships are present, 3 of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles, with a combined salvo of up to 26 missiles. During the day, 2 ships passed through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea, but none proceeded toward the Bosporus. Meanwhile, 4 ships entered the Sea of Azov, with none coming from the Bosporus.

Kherson oblast

Referring to the RMA, a russian drone attack wounded a 33-year-old man in Kherson. He suffered blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his face, chest, arms and legs. He was hospitalised in moderate condition.

Roman Mrochko, Head of the CMA, said that in the morning, russian troops shelled Zelenivka near Kherson, damaging 5 private homes. There were no casualties reported.

The RMA reported that yesterday, a russian drone targeted an emergency medical team responding to a call in Kherson. Both medics sustained blast injuries, closed head trauma and concussions. They are currently under medical supervision.

Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, stated that during the day, russian troops shelled 37 settlements in Kherson oblast, killing one person and wounding 2. The attacks targeted critical and social infrastructure, residential areas, damaging 2 apartment buildings, 12 private homes, a garage and several vehicles.

Based on the information provided by the RMA, on the evening of 25 February, a russian drone strike injured a resident of Havrylivka in Kherson oblast. The 65-year-old man was at home at the time of the attack. Today, he was hospitalised with blast trauma and shrapnel wounds to his legs.

Police informed that they evacuated a critically ill elderly woman from the frontline Monastyrske village in Kherson oblast. Residents requested help, reporting that the 78-year-old woman was paralysed and had been unconscious for a long time. She was transported in an armored vehicle and handed over to medics.

According to the RMA, specialists from the mobile medical team of the NGO CASERS examined nearly 140 patients in Kherson oblast, conducting about 200 ultrasound scans for residents of Velyka Oleksandrivka, Muzykivka, Chornobaivka, Stepne and Kochubeivka.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

Lutsk City Council held a meeting with Anna Nowakowska, recently appointed Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Lutsk. They discussed cooperation and support.

Zakarpattia oblast

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Proliska team has relocated to the oblast from Kharkiv and is actively assisting in a number of areas. It has provided support to 31 temporary shelters in different parts of the oblast – these centers currently house over 2,000 IDPs, and has also helped with the renovation of communally owned facilities, where at the end of the year an additional 500 places were created for people who found shelter from the war in the oblast.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Vasyl Polahniuk, soldier of the ranks of the National Guard, from Prykarpattia, was awarded with the Hero of Ukraine title. Vasyl is a professional dog handler. He was killed in May 2024 after being wounded in battle in Luhansk oblast.

Lviv oblast

The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the European Investment Bank and UNDP. They discussed projects implemented with the support of the EIB within the framework of the Emergency Loan Program for the Recovery of Ukraine and prospects for the selection of submitted projects within the framework of the”Ukraine Recovery Program III.

In Lviv, work is underway to restore buildings that were destroyed during a massive missile strike in July 2023. Then the enemy attack took the lives of 10 people and destroyed 4 buildings. The city rebuilt the damaged structures at its own expense, restored roofs, replaced windows, doors and communications, and residents received assistance for apartment repairs. Now, after receiving all the necessary permits, as these buildings are architectural monuments, the restoration of facades and internal stairwells has started.

Volodymyr Fulmes, defender from Yavoriv region, was awarded with the III degree For Courage Order (posthumously). He was killed in July 2022 in Donetsk oblast.

Rivne oblast

Deputies of Rivne Regional Council adopted a statement of support for Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, and his position on the inadmissibility of holding negotiations on Ukraine without the Ukrainian side. They also emphasized the inadmissibility of elections during martial law.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA reported that since the beginning of 2025, 650 servicemen have already received such support and received financial assistance to purchase the necessary equipment and technical means.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

A full-fledged DNA laboratory will operate at Khmelnytsky Scientific Research Expert and Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. For the full-fledged operation of the laboratory, UAH 1.5m has been allocated from the regional budget for the purchase of special equipment (ventilation system, climate control system, and refrigeration equipment).

Chernivtsi oblast

Employees of Chernivtsi RMA, together with international partners, met another evacuation train. 12 people arrived in the oblast from Kramatorsk, Pokrovsk and Kostiantynivka, Donetsk oblast.

Krzysztof Gawkowski, Polish Minister of Digital Technologies, stated that Poland would deliver more Starlink terminals to Ukraine. Warsaw has already ordered an additional batch of Starlink for Ukraine, as the connection is critically important for strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities.

Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister, announced that Japan will provide Ukraine with a grant of 8.8bn Japanese yen for the reconstruction of Ukraine.

Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the President’s Office, met with Masashi Nakagome, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine. They discussed specific steps to strengthen cooperation to achieve a comprehensive, lasting and just peace.
