The invaders continue to use artillery on territories in regions bordering the russian Federation. Areas around the settlements of Mykhalchyna Sloboda in Chernihiv oblast; Bila Bereza, Stepok, Fotovyzh, Pokrovka, Velyka Pysarivka, and Vyntorivka in Sumy oblast came under enemy shelling. Airstrikes targeted Hremiach, Slavhorod, and Seredyna Buda.
Frontline Updates:
- Kharkiv axis: The enemy did not conduct offensive actions but launched airstrikes using unguided rockets (NAR) on Vovchanski Khutory.
Our defenders repelled four enemy assault attempts near Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Lozova, and Nova Kruhliakivka towards Kupiansk. Hlushkivka came under airstrike. - Lyman axis: The enemy is attacking near the settlements of Kopanky, Terny, and Kolodiazi. Since the start of the day, there have been four clashes, one of which is ongoing. Additionally, enemy aviation struck Nadiia with unguided rockets.
- Siversk axis: The occupiers attempted to advance toward Ivano-Darivka but were repelled.
- Kramatorsk axis: The Defense Forces are repelling three enemy attempts to advance near the settlements of Chasiv Yar and Fedorivka. Fighting is ongoing. Stupochky came under enemy airstrikes.
- Toretsk axis: The enemy attacked our positions five times near Toretsk, with three clashes still ongoing. Airstrikes targeted Druzhba and Kostyantynivka.
- Pokrovsk axis: The enemy attacked our defenders’ positions 33 times near the settlements of Vodyane Druhe, Zelene Pole, Myroliubivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Novyi Trud, Pokrovsk, Zvirkove, Uspenivka, Slovianka, Sribne, Shevchenko, Andriivka, Ulakly, Yantarne, Dachne. Nine clashes are still ongoing.
- Novopavlivka axis: One enemy assault was stopped, but the invaders continue to attempt advances toward Ukrainian positions near Kostiantynopil.
- Orikhiv axis: The enemy attacked once near Kamianske.
- Kherson axis: The invaders attempted an unsuccessful assault on our positions near Kozatskyi Island.
- Kursk axis: The enemy attacked twice and carried out 11 airstrikes, dropping 17 KABs on russian territory.
No significant changes in the situation were observed on other fronts.
Mass Grave in Izium:
The identities of 22 victims from a mass grave in Izium remain unknown. They are preliminarily recorded as “unknown woman” or “unknown man,” as there is no information about their relatives or acquaintances who could provide testimony for the identification process. Consequently, forensic examinations for these individuals cannot yet be completed. From March to September 10, 2022, Izium was under occupation. After the city’s liberation, a mass grave was discovered in a forested area near the cemetery on Shevchenko Street, where over 450 bodies and remains of the deceased were exhumed.
Modern Equipment for Defense Forces:
Deputy Minister of Defense Dmytro Klimenkov reported that last year, the Ministry of Defense approved nearly 30 samples of automotive and motorized equipment for use. These included ATVs, buggies, amphibious vehicles, and others. Among the standardized samples are products from European, American, Asian, and Ukrainian manufacturers. Utilizing these vehicles enables our soldiers to perform a wide range of tasks at the front, including logistical support, evacuation of the wounded, and rapid transportation of personnel and cargo to areas inaccessible to conventional vehicles.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
Frontline
On Kharkiv axis, there was one combat engagement with Russian forces near Vovchansk, according to the Regional Military Administration (RMA). The occupiers carried out an airstrike on Vovchanski Khutory.
On Kupiansk axis, russian forces attempted ten times to push Ukrainian units from their positions near Dvorichna, Petropavlivka, Lozova, Kutkivka, and Nova Kruhliakivka. As of 10pm, one combat engagement is ongoing. Hlushkivka was also targeted by an airstrike.
Towards Kharkiv, there were two combat engagements with Russian invaders near Vovchansk.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy made eight attempts to displace our units from positions near Petropavlivka, Kolisnykivka, Lozova, and Zahryzove.
Shelling
Head Viktor Kovalenko reported that russian aviation struck three KAB bombs on Zolochiv community at approximately 6:05pm. The bombs hit near Karasivka, Basove, and Zolochiv. No reports of injuries or destruction have been received.
At 2:35 and 2:50pm, two private houses in Kupiansk were hit by enemy shelling. Around 9am, the occupiers attacked a Ukrainian police service vehicle using a Molniya-2 UAV. Three law enforcement officers sustained shrapnel injuries and have received medical assistance.

During the shelling, a civilian vehicle was also damaged: a 64-year-old woman and her 68-year-old husband, residents of Kupiansk, were injured. The enemy has been shelling the city all day, disregarding all norms and rules of war.

According to the Regional Prosecutor’s Office, an 87-year-old woman suffered an acute stress reaction as a result of the shelling of Bilyi Kolodiaz around 9am.
At 11:18am, a strike was recorded in Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. As a result of a Shahed UAV attack, garages were damaged, one was destroyed, a car was damaged, and windows in a dormitory were shattered.

At 2:05am, Osynove village was attacked by russian forces. As a result of the Molniya UAV shelling, a farm building was damaged.
The day before, at 6:10pm, the russian forces attacked Udy, Vidrodzhenske, and Tymofiivka villages of Bohodukhiv region. Three KAB bombs hit open terrain near the settlements.
At 2:11pm, Saltivskyi district was attacked by Russian forces. A Molniya-1 UAV was found unexploded in a private yard. No casualties were reported.
At 2pm, Osynove was under attack. A service vehicle was damaged, and two police officers were injured as a result of the shelling.
At 9:30am, Shyikivka village of Izumi region was attacked. A private house was destroyed by the shelling.
At 9am, Kurylivka was attacked. Two farm buildings were damaged by rocket artillery shelling.
At 8:20am, Kupiansk was attacked by russian forces. Equipment at a company was damaged by rocket artillery shelling.
Other
As a result of intensified evacuation measures from Kupiansk and Borova directions, 30 people (1 child) were evacuated.
The bodies of 22 people who died during the russian occupation of Izium in 2022 remain unidentified.
Andrii Alieksieiev, Head of the Reconstruction and Infrastructure Development Service of Kharkiv oblast , reported that the reconstruction of the village of Tsyrkuny is on hold due to russian shellin.
Donetsk oblast
Defense forces stopped 73 assaults on the Pokrovsk direction near Vodiane Druhe, Myroliubivka, Promen, Yelyzavetivka, Myrnohrad, Kotlynne, Nadiivka, Andriivka, Shevchenko, Dachne, Ulakly, and Yantarne.
Serhii Dobriak, Head of the Military Administration, reported that in Pokrovsk, there were no russian reconnaissance and sabotage groups. The front line is currently less than 2km from the outskirts of the cities, with 7,050 residents remaining in the city.
Dmytro Zaporozhets, spokesperson for the Luhansk Operational-Tactical Unit, reported that the defense forces are preventing the russian army from establishing a foothold on the territory of the fire-resistant plant in Chasiv Yar. Currently, there are ongoing small arms battles.
The situation towards Toretsk remains dynamic. The russian army is using artillery, mortars, rocket artillery, FPV drones, and other methods. Yesterday russian forces carried out 118 artillery attacks.
Khortytsia” Operational Strategic Group said that Ukrainian troops are holding the defense on the outskirts of the village of Velyka Novosilka towards Novopavlivsk. The russian army is actively advancing with the aim of blocking the settlement.
The defense forces struck a russian army command post in Donetsk oblast, delivering a strike on the command center of the 29th Combined Arms Army of russia in temporarily occupied Volnovakha.
Anastasiia Miedviedieva, Spokeswoman of the Regional Prosecutor’s Office, reported that the morning of 21 January, russian troops shelled Pokrovsk city using an FPV drone. As a result, a man was killed.
Serhii Horbunov, Head of the Military Administration, informed that the russian army carried out 10 airstrikes on Kostiantynivka on 21 January. The attack damaged the facades of multi-story and private houses, administrative buildings, an educational institution, a tire service, a warehouse, and electrical networks. There were no casualties.
During the past day, the police recorded 3,252 enemy shelling attacks on the front line and residential areas.

12 settlements were under attack. 73 civilian objects were damaged, including 54 residential buildings.
In Kostiantynivka, the russians struck with six FAB-250 bombs and artillery, injuring one person, damaging three apartment buildings, ten private homes, two non-residential buildings, six civilian vehicles, and the electricity network.
Lyman was attacked by the enemy with the Smerch MLRS, injuring a civilian and damaging eight private homes and a car.
The occupiers dropped a FAB-250 bomb on the village of Druzhkivske, injuring one person and damaging two private houses.
As a result of bombings in Myrnohrad, six apartment buildings were damaged, while in Krasnyi Lyman, four private homes were affected.
Pokrovsk was hit by five enemy shellings, damaging four apartment buildings, a private house, a garage, and a civilian vehicle.
In Rodynske, there were damages on the premises of an enterprise, and in Hryshyne, a private house and outbuilding were affected.
The village of Komar was hit by the Uragan MLRS, with 12 private houses, an outbuilding, a car service station, and a civilian vehicle being damaged.

According to Mariupol City Council, in the temporarily occupied Mariupol, almost 65,000 sq m of land were handed over to russian developers. The majority of the area is located in the Central district, with additional plots in the Left Bank district.
In Mariupol, the occupiers announced strengthening their “fight against reconnaissance and sabotage activities of Ukrainian intelligence services,” specifically detaining “saboteurs” and “spies,” according to the city council.
Luhansk oblast
According to the RMA, during the past day, the russians attempted to advance near four settlements. The enemy attacked in the areas of Nadiia, Novoiehorivka, Makiivka, and Balka Zhukravka. Our defenders are repelling these attacks. The enemy used artillery five times, targeting the positions of Ukrainian troops. Around 150 enemy drones were deployed to carry out combat tasks on this section of the front.
Since 18 January, residents of Dovzhansk, Voznesenivka, and four other settlements in the so-called “lpr” have been left without drinking water. The water supply was disrupted due to a pipeline failure, affecting around 80,000 residents. The occupation authorities announced that repairs would begin today but postponed the work until 23 January. They promised to restore water supply no earlier than 28 January, which is a delay of 10 days.
To address the looming demographic crisis, the occupiers have doubled the tax discount for having a second and third child. Residents of the so-called “lpr” are eligible for this offer. For a second child, those with the necessary Russian documents can receive an additional rub 1,400 in annual tax discounts. For a third child, there will be a total reduction of rub 3,000 in the annual tax rate. Additionally, those who complete the Soviet-era “GTO” standards — undergo medical check-ups and pass a series of fitness tests — will also receive the discount and be considered eligible for conscription.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
During the night, the enemy attacked Kyiv oblast by UAVs. As a result of falling debris from intercepted enemy targets in one of the settlements, a private house and a car were damaged. Equipment belonging to the street power grid was also affected. Repair work is underway.
According to the National Police, law enforcement officers have identified seven more russian servicemen involved in war crimes in Bucha. Investigators have formally charged five russian soldiers with violating the laws and customs of war combined with the intentional killing of civilians. An indictment has also been filed against two occupiers over the killing of a civilian.
Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn reported that Saulius Skvernelis, Speaker of Seimas of Republic of Lithuania, paid a visit to Irpin. He visited the Ruta kindergarten, whose reconstruction was carried out in partnership with Lithuanian government.
According to Kyiv City Military Administration, residents of buildings damaged by russian missile attack on Kyiv on 18 January can receive financial assistance at the offices of Kyiv City Council deputies. Victims can also seek help under “Careless. Towards the residents of Kyiv” program through the Department of Social and Veteran Policy of the Shevchenkivskyi District Military Administration.
The Regional Military Administration, in Kyiv oblast, 38,857 internally displaced families received assistance in January, totaling over UAH 127m. As of January, more than 254,000 internally displaced persons (IDPs) are registered in the oblast. The largest IDP populations reside in Irpin (23,892), Brovary (22,130), and Bila Tserkva (15,571).
Zhytomyr oblast
On 20 January, modern medical equipment was handed over at the medical and sanitary unit of the State Emergency Service (SES) in the oblast by the “Chornobyl-Tyubu” Association from Japanese city of Nagoya, as part of the “Help Firefighters” project. Cooperation with “Chornobyl-Tyubu” Association has been ongoing for more than 30 years. During this time, the organisation has repeatedly assisted in purchasing medicines, vitamins, and providing technical upgrades to the SES medical and sanitary unit in Zhytomyr oblast.
On the occasion of Ukraine’s Unity Day (22 January), a patriotic event titled “Weaving a Talisman into the Net of Unity” will take place in Zhytomyr. It will symbolise support for Ukrainian Armed Forces and a shared belief in victory. On Mykhailivska Street, a 25-metre-long camouflage net will be set up on a frame—everyone is welcome to join in the communal weaving of the net.
Sumy oblast
The regional military administration reported that on 21 January, anti-aircraft guns shot down 15 enemy UAVs of Shahed type in the sky over Sumy Oblast. Since the beginning of 2025, 191 enemy drones have been destroyed by the region’s air defense units.
During night and morning, russians carried out 20 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 20 explosions: 15 explosions by GAB, 4 explosive gadgets dropped from UAV, and mortar hit. The attacks targeted Myropilia, Yunakivka, Krasnopillia, Seredyna-Buda, and Khotiv communities.
On 20 January, russians carried out 63 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 104 explosions. The enemy attacked by FPV-drones (12 explosions), launched GABs (4 explosions), attacked by missiles (3 explosions), dropped explosive devices from UAVs (32 explosions), struck by artillery (27 explosions) and mortars (15 explosions). As a result of a hostile attack in Seredyna-Buda community, a private home was damaged. The attacks targeted 12 border communities: Myropilia, Shostka, Shalyhyne, Esman, Svesa, Putyvl, Khotin, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Yunakivka, and Seredyna-Buda.
Valentyna Voronova, head of Hamaliivka Starostyn distric, informed that on 20 January, russian forces struck Hamaliivka in Shostka community. As a result, an infrastructure facility was destroyed; seven private households, three entrances in apartment buildings, and the local club building were damaged. Volunteers from Shostka branch of Red Cross provided plastic sheeting and tarps to residents whose homes were affected.
Chernihiv oblast
According to State Border Guard Service, throughout 20 January, russian forces attacked four border communities in Chernihiv oblast.
Novhorod-Siverskyi community: Mykhalchyna Sloboda – 2 mortar strikes; Hremiach – 3 NVP drops from UAV; Kamin – 1 FPV drone strike.
Semenivka community: Liskivshchyna – 1 FPV-drone strike, 2 unknown explosive device (UED) drops from UAV; Zaliznyi Mist – 1 UED drop from UAV; Mkhy – 1 mortar strike; Hremiachka – 2 UED drops from UAV, 3 FPV-drone strikes; Tymonovychi – 17 mortar strikes.
Snovsk community: Khrinivka – 2 UED drops from UAV; 2 FPV-drone strikes; 4 mortar strikes.
Horodnia community: Senkivka – 1 UED drop from UAV.
Bohdan Bochko from Tarasivka village has been awarded “For Resilience” badge. In 2022, he was taken prisoner and remained in captivity for over two years. According to Chernihiv Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centre, he was returned to his homeland in August 2024. Bohdan joined Ukraine’s defenders in 2021, serving in the Marine Corps, and during the full-scale invasion, he took part in defending Kherson oblast.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
At night, russian forces shelled Nikopol region by artillery, targeting Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrov communities. There were no casualties reported. In the morning, explosions were heard in Dnipro, where a warehouse building that was not in use was destroyed. Explosions also occurred in the Synelnykove region, injuring a man who was hospitalised in moderate condition. A transport company and private houses were damaged in the attack.
Air defence forces were active in the oblast, destroying 7 enemy UAVs.
Throughout the day, russian forces attacked Nikopol region about 15 times by artillery, kamikaze drones and explosives dropped from UAVs. Strikes targeted the regional centre, Marhanets, Pokrov and Chervonohryhorivka communities. 4 private houses, 2 outbuildings and a power line were damaged. A morning strike in Synelnykove region injured a woman and 2 men. One man and the 39-year-old woman were hospitalised in moderate condition, while the other man received outpatient treatment. Nearly 70 houses were damaged. In Dnipro, strikes attacked enterprises, an educational institution, a shop, a post office, a private house, cars and a garage.
Vinnytsia oblast
At night, air defence forces shot down an enemy UAV. There were no casualties or damage.
Defender Oleksandr Hutsol from Vinnytsia oblast was awarded the Order of Courage. Hutsol participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation and, after the full-scale invasion, served in the 59th Brigade, participating in intense battles across various settlements in Donetsk oblast.
Kirovohrad oblast
Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, reported that during an overnight air raid alert, air defence forces shot down an enemy Shahed drone over Kirovohrad oblast. There were no casualties or damage reported.
In Kropyvnytskyi, a memorial ceremony was held for fallen defenders. Oleh Volchkov was killed on 11 January 2025, near Orlivka village in Sudzhansky region of Kursk oblast, russia. Serhii Kizil was killed on 25 February 2024, near Orlivka village in Pokrovsk region, Donetsk oblast.
Poltava oblast
On 21 January, a memorial service was held in Poltava for fallen soldier Volodymyr Snitchuk, who was killed on 2 February 2024, during a firefight with russian forces near Avdiivka.
On the night of 20 January 2025, UAVs launched by russia damaged 7 private houses in Kremenchuk. There were no injuries reported.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, informed that at night, air defence forces destroyed 7 enemy UAVs. In Zvenyhorod region, debris from a Shahed drone damaged the windows of 4 residential buildings, an educational institution, a shop and a non-residential building. A power line was also damaged. Repair crews from Oblenerho are working on site.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, reported that russian forces attacked frontline settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. There is information about the hit. Details are being clarified.
On 20 January, a 49-year-old man was injured in an attack on Vasylivka region.
Search and rescue operation at the site of russian shelling on 18 January continues for the 4th day in Zaporizhzhia. A 27-year-old man is still missing. According to the latest information, 1 person was killed and 12 injured in the attack.
On 20 January, russian forces launched 413 strikes on 12 cities and villages in the oblast. This included 131 artillery strikes on Lobkove, Piatykhatky, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria, Malynivka, Novodarivka and Olhivske.
Mykolaiv oblast
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, around 4:40pm, russian tactical aviation activity was detected in the south, with warnings issued about potential airstrikes.
As reported by the RMA, on the night of 21 January, air defences in Mykolaiv oblast destroyed 8 Shahed 131/136 UAVs. Debris falling on open ground in Pervomaisk region caused a grass fire. There were no injuries reported.
On 20 January, russian forces attacked Kutsurub community 5 times by FPV drones. There were no casualties reported.
Odesa oblast
According to Ukraine’s Naval Forces, in the Black Sea, one russian ship equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles is on duty, with a total salvo of up to 4 missiles. No russian ships are present in the Sea of Azov. In the Mediterranean, 6 russian ships are on duty, 2 of which are equipped with Kalibr missiles capable of a total salvo of up to 22 missiles. Over the past day, 8 ships passed through the Kerch Strait heading to the Black Sea, 2 of which continued toward the Bosphorus Strait. 4 ships entered the Sea of Azov.
Kherson oblast
According to the State Emergency Service, rescue teams in Kherson responded to 3 fires caused by russian shelling in the past day. A residential house and an outbuilding caught fire in the regional centre, while belongings burned in a damaged house in Komyshany.
According to the RMA, a 64-year-old man injured in a daytime shelling of Kherson sought medical help. He suffered an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to his hand.
The russian forces attacked Kherson by UAVs, injuring a 78-year-old man who is now hospitalised.
Roman Mrochko, Head of the CMA, said that in the morning, russians dropped explosives from a drone in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, injuring 4 people.
In the suburb of Antonivka, a 61-year-old man stepped on an unidentified explosive device and was hospitalised with an explosive injury and traumatic wounds to his right foot.
The RMA reported that near Mykilske village, a 49-year-old man stepped on a russian anti-personnel mine, suffering an explosive injury and partial amputation of his foot.
2 people were injured as a result of russian shelling near Zelenivka on 20 January. Today they sought medical assistance. Both sustained explosive injuries and concussions.
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, informed that on 20 January, russian forces shelled 39 settlements in Kherson oblast, targeting critical infrastructure and residential areas. They damaged an apartment building, 12 private houses, a invisibility centre and a gas pipeline. 6 people were injured.
As reported by the Yellow Ribbon movement, in schools on temporarily occupied territories of Kherson oblast, 9 new cadet classes were introduced. Students in these classes receive additional military training. These classes have been established in 3 rural schools and 2 schools in Skadovsk.

Volyn oblast
The RMA held a meeting with the largest taxpayers and consumers of electricity in Volyn oblast. The discussion focused on the specifics of electricity imports for industrial consumers, specifically, technical capabilities and pricing for imported electricity.
Territorial communities of Kovel and Kamen-Kashyr regions received 29 generators to enhance energy resilience during martial law thanks to the support of the Algorithm of Action NGO and the Adam Harber Foundation ICF.
Within the framework of the Interreg NEXT Poland-Ukraine 2021-2027 Programme, the delegation of Volyn oblast participated in the meeting of the working group on large infrastructure projects, which was recently held in Warsaw. This programme aims to promote the development of border areas between Poland and Ukraine by supporting joint initiatives under the priorities of Environment, Health, Tourism, Cooperation, Borders and Accessibility.
Zakarpattia oblast
The era of electric buses begins in Ukraine. Uzhhorod will be the first city in Ukraine to purchase 9 electric buses at once. As part of cooperation with the European Investment Bank under the Urban Public Transport II project, the city will receive 9 low-floor battery electric buses Electron, 10.5m long. In addition, in this purchase for EUR 3.9m, Uzhhorod will also receive one charging station, which it plans to use at night.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

Lviv oblast
Another 52 people were evacuated to Lviv oblast from frontline oblasts in a week. All were met and consulted by volunteers of the Medical and Psychological Assistance. Many IDPs try to return to their native oblasts, but due to the danger they return to Lviv oblast again
In December last year, 5,697 IDPs were accommodated in the private housing sector of Lviv oblast. The Department of Fuel and Energy Complex, Energy Efficiency and Housing and Communal Services of Lviv RMA will compensate private sector owners for the settlement of IDPs in December with over UAH 2.5m.
Rivne oblast
The Air Defense Forces were operating in Rivne oblast during a night air alert. An enemy air target was shot down. Relevant services are working on the scene. People and infrastructure were not harmed.
Rivne RMA signed a Memorandum with the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy. It unites fifty different organizations. The document, specifically, provides for the attraction of financial resources from EU programs for joint projects.
Ternopil oblast
Ternopil City Council reported that in the community, during the program, 3,199 defenders received funds to purchase technical equipment.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
At night, during an air alert signal, the Air DefenseForces shot down 1 enemy UAV. The locations of the debris are being determined. There are no damages, injuries, or fatalities.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA delegation participated in the 4th meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Interreg NEXT Romania-Ukraine 2021-2027 Program. The meeting was held in Bucharest, Romania. During the event, results of the competitive selection of projects within the Program were discussed. The list of projects recommended for the conclusion of grant contracts and which will be further implemented with EU financial support was also approved.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
Ukrainian soldiers received another helping hand from Latvia. Over 40 four-wheel drive vehicles, drones, computer equipment, generators, and charging stations for 14 combat brigades defending Ukraine from enemy aggression.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Saulius Skvernelis, Speaker of the Seimas of Lithuania. They discussed security and defense-industrial cooperation, sanctions, security guarantees and Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
Every Monday, rallies in support of Ukraine are held on Vilnius Cathedral Square. The previous day, on 20 January, the 125th such rally was held. It was dedicated to the Day of Unity of Ukraine.
