The Defense Forces of Ukraine are holding back the advance of Russian occupiers. The terrorists continue to destroy Ukrainian cities and villages with missile, air, and artillery strikes.
As of now, 48 combat engagements have taken place.
Today, communities in the following settlements suffered from enemy artillery and mortar fire: Halahanivka in Chernihiv region; Oleksandrivka, Popivka, and Prohres in Sumy region; Vidrodzhenske and Tymoshchiivka in Kharkiv region.
In the Kharkiv direction, one combat engagement occurred near Tykhe.
In the Kupiansk direction, Russian occupiers attacked the positions of the Defense Forces twice near the settlements of Topoli and Petropavlivka. The battle is ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, the occupying army launched 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions during the day near Kopanky, Novoserhiivka, Tverdokhlibove, Makiivka, Kolodiazi, Terni, and Hryhorivka. Six clashes are ongoing. Enemy aviation struck Zelenyi Hai with unguided rockets.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders are repelling two assaults by Russian invaders. The enemy, with air support, is attempting to break through to Predtechyne and near Chasiv Yar. Additionally, the enemy carried out an airstrike on Minkivka.
In the Toretsk direction, our defenders are repelling two enemy assaults near Toretsk. The enemy also carried out an airstrike using guided bombs on Kramatorsk.
In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 17 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near Baranivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zelene, Zvyrove, Uspenivka, Andriivka, and Dachne. The Defense Forces are holding their ground and have repelled nine enemy attacks, while eight clashes are still ongoing.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy tried once to breach our defense near Vremivka. The battle continues.
In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy carried out an airstrike with unguided rockets near Pyatykhatky.
In the Kursk direction, 11 clashes occurred since the start of the day, with eight still ongoing. Additionally, the enemy carried out seven airstrikes, dropping 12 guided bombs.
In other directions, there are no significant changes.
Prisoners released from captivity:
Injured Ukrainian servicemen from the Kursk region have been freed. Additionally, members of the National Guard, Armed Forces (including Territorial Defense), Navy, and Border Guard Service are returning home and to rehabilitation. Among them are soldiers, sailors, sergeants, and one civilian who was captured in Kyiv region and unlawfully detained by the Russians. The youngest released individual is 24 years old, while the oldest is 60.
During a new prisoner exchange, severely ill and wounded individuals were returned to Ukraine. The injuries include loss of vision, limb amputations, severe gunshot wounds, and the effects of mine-explosive injuries. The illnesses include tuberculosis, cancer, and gangrene. This was reported by the Coordination Headquarters on the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
Migration statistics:
443,000 Ukrainians left the country in 2024 and did not return. This number is 3.3 times higher than last year. According to official data from the State Border Service, approximately 3 million citizens have not returned over the three years of full-scale war.

Aviation strikes
During the day, the settlements of Tymofiivka and Vidrodzhenske in the Zolochiv community of Kharkiv region were hit by Russian airstrikes. The enemy used unguided rockets to strike Zelenyi Hai in the Boryvsk community, according to the General Staff.

Prisoner exchanges:
As part of the 60th prisoner exchange, a soldier from the Kharkiv region has returned home. Viacheslav, a resident of Kharkiv, joined the 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade to defend Ukraine. In late December 2023, he was captured in the Zaporizhzhia direction.
During the exchange on January 15, a border guard who had defended the Kharkiv region was also returned. His condition is critical, according to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko.

Shelling
A Russian drone struck a 50-year-old resident of Kupiansk, according to the press service of the Regional Military Administration (RMA). The victim suffered a traumatic leg amputation and an open fracture. He was hospitalized in extremely critical condition.
At 06:05, Russian forces attacked the Berestynskyi district, Berestynska Territorial Community (TC). The strike hit open terrain between the villages of Khrestyshche and Myrne, with no casualties reported.
At 16:47, the Kharkiv district, Derhachivska TC, village of Bezruki came under Russian attack. The strike damaged the glazing of windows at a civilian enterprise.
At 10:00, the Kupiansk district, Kupianska TC, city of Kupiansk was targeted. A drone strike partially shattered windows in a nine-story residential building, injuring a 74-year-old woman.
At 08:00, the Kharkiv district, Derhachivska TC, village of Kozacha Lopan, Pypenka Street, was shelled by Russian forces. A 52-year-old man was killed in the attack.
A Russian military officer has been charged with directing the shelling of the Palace of Culture in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region, on May 20, 2022. The attack completely destroyed the building. According to the indictment published by the Prosecutor General’s Office on January 14, the suspect is Ilya Koryak, deputy commander and chief of staff of the 22nd Heavy Bomber Aviation Division of Russia’s Long-Range Aviation Forces.
Ukrainian investigators determined that from May to November 2022, Koryak was tasked with targeting civilian sites in Ukraine, including critical infrastructure. The 47-year-old colonel is listed among division commanders identified by Ukrainian intelligence from a Russian pilot following the attack on Kyiv’s “Okhmatdyt” hospital. Investigators also link Colonel Koryak to strikes in Donetsk, Odesa, Vinnytsia, and Rivne regions. He is accused of directing missile strikes on the “Amstor” shopping center in Kremenchuk and a residential building in Dnipro, which collectively claimed 50 lives.
Other News
For the first time on January 14, a delegation from the United Nations (UN) visited the Kharkiv region. The delegation included the UN Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Tom Fletcher, and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Filippo Grandi.
According to the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the meeting focused on collaboration in providing humanitarian support to the residents of Kharkiv region and ensuring a sustainable autumn-winter period.
As a result of intensified evacuation measures from the Kupiansk and Borivske directions, 33 people, including 2 children, were evacuated.
Donetsk oblast
Frontline
The Defense Forces are working to prevent a “deterioration of tactical positions” on the Pokrovsk front line. Over the past day, the occupiers destroyed part of the Ukrainian army’s positions, as reported by the Operational Strategic Command “Khortytsia.”
Russian forces on the Pokrovsk front currently face limitations preventing them from widely deploying fiber-optic drones due to operational restrictions and the specifics of their functionality. Additionally, the occupiers have shifted tactics in using aerial bombs. Instead of targeting the front line, these bombs are now being used to strike rear areas and logistical routes, according to Vasyl Olehovič, deputy commander of a battalion in the 54th Brigade.
Shelling
Nine people were injured as a result of a Russian strike on an apartment building in Kramatorsk. The Russians dropped a “UMPB D-30 SN” aerial bomb, which struck the residential building between the 7th and 8th floors. The attack occurred around 9:30 a.m.
Among the injured are two children: a 6-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy. Additionally, seven women aged 62 to 73 were injured. The strike damaged 24 civilian structures, including five apartment buildings, a pharmacy, and 18 civilian vehicles.

Enemy Attacks
Over the past day, Russian forces shelled three settlements in Donetsk Oblast. Police recorded 3,530 Russian strikes targeting the frontline and residential areas.
Russian troops attacked the cities of Kostiantynivka and Myrnohrad, as well as the village of Yampil.
Six civilian objects were damaged, including two residential buildings.
In Myrnohrad, Russian forces used drones and artillery to strike, damaging an apartment building and civilian vehicles.
Shelling in Kostiantynivka damaged an infrastructure facility.
In Yampil, Russian forces used “Smerch” MLRS, destroying a private house and cutting a power line.

In the frontline city of Pokrovsk, three heating points are currently operational, with plans to open additional ones. Approximately 7,000 residents remain in the city, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of Donetsk Regional Military Administration.
Luhansk oblast
Russian Drone Attacks
Over the past day, Russian forces launched 153 drones in an attempt to target Ukrainian defenses in Luhansk region, according to the Regional Military Administration. They also shelled positions five times using artillery. The enemy is trying to breach our defense in Bilohorivka. Attacks were also carried out near Hrekyivka, Novoyehorivka, Raihorodka, and Makiivka.
New Tariffs for Occupied Luhansk
The so-called “Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of LNR” has introduced new tariffs for maintaining multi-apartment buildings in the occupied Luhansk region. The cost for upkeep will range from 16.18 to 28.96 rubles per square meter per month. The difference depends on the building type, number of floors, and wall materials, not on the city. For example, maintaining an apartment in a nine-story building in partially-destroyed Rubizhne will cost 24.66 rubles per square meter, the same as in Luhansk. A one-room apartment will cost at least 750 rubles per month.
All residential properties will be included in the “Unified Regional Fund for Managing Multi-Apartment Buildings” by November 2025. The funds will be allocated for ongoing repairs, while capital repairs will be funded separately by the residents. Currently, the legal framework for the capital repair fund is being developed.
Sewer System Crisis in Luhansk
The state of the sewage system in Luhansk is near an emergency level. For example, in 90% of buildings in the eastern districts, basements are already filled with sewage. The drainage system is almost nonfunctional. Occupying forces have not issued orders for local utilities to address these issues.

Kyiv oblast
The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported that during the last prisoner exchange, seriously wounded and seriously ill Ukrainians returned to Ukraine, including a civilian who was captured by russians in Kyiv oblast and illegally detained.
Head of the city Oleksandr Markushyn informed that in Irpin, the reconstruction of houses at 105-N and 105-O Severinivska Street, which were destroyed during the russian invasion, has begun. According to him, it took 2.5 years to find funding for the work due to the scale of the destruction. The facility has now been included in the programme of the Armed Aggression Relief Fund. The overhaul began on 14 January.
Mykola Kalashnyk, head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, announced after inspecting the reconstruction in the city that the “Champion” Stadium in Irpin, damaged by russian shelling, has been resurfaced using the latest technology. However, the structures need to be partially dismantled and strengthened. A project is being developed to rebuild the Palace of Culture and extra-budgetary funding is being sought.

The KCSA reported that 5 more autonomous power supply cabinets are being installed in Kyiv for traffic lights at intersections, the equipment for which was purchased in 2024. The company currently serves 739 traffic lights, 335 of which are already connected to the backup power supply and support the operation of the facilities for up to 24 hours.
The Bila Tserkva Youth Centre opened a coworking space where young people can study or work on their own gadgets or rent them for free. The coworking space was created as part of the #MolodTuT project of the “Dreaming and Acting” programme, which is being implemented with the financial support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The course, “Memory Routes of Kyiv Oblast,” won the “Responsibility Award”. It is dedicated to preserving the memory of the heroic defence of Kyiv oblast during the hostilities in 2022, as well as to perpetuating the feats of Ukrainian defenders and residents of oblast. It is a joint initiative of the All-Ukrainian Association of Guides, the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Kyiv Oblast State Administration and the oblast’s communities.
Zhytomyr oblast
Since February 24, 2022, through January 11, 2025, 1,654 incidents of war crimes committed by the Russian Armed Forces have been documented in the Zhytomyr region. These include cases of illegal detention, intentional murder, damage to residential buildings, historical landmarks, hospitals, and religious structures. This was reported by Vladyslav Yehorov, coordinator of the Public Reception Office of the Ukrainian Helsinki Human Rights Union (UHHRU) in Rivne. According to him, 39 people have been killed as a result of Russian military actions, 115 have been injured or suffered other health-related damage. One person is listed as missing. This is also mentioned in materials published by the Global Initiative “Tribunal for Putin.”
In Zhytomyr, two large families from Kherson, raising 11 children, have received new modern homes, equipped with everything necessary for living, including their own shelters. This project became possible with the support of the Government of Estonia in collaboration with the Foundation of Olena Zelenska.
On January 14, 2025, the Human Rights Protection Center opened in Zhytomyr. The opening of the first regional office of the Ombudsman for Human Rights in Ukraine took place with the participation of Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna. The center was established with the support of international partners.
Communities in the Zhytomyr region can apply to participate in the project “Psychological Rehabilitation and Social Adaptation in Zhytomyr Region. Implementation of the PRO_MentalHealth Model at the Local Level: Psychosocial Support for Veterans and Individuals Affected by the War” until January 22, 2025.
Sumy oblast
The RMA reported that on 15 January, air defense units in Sumy oblast shot down 11 Shahed-type drones. Since the beginning of 2025, 134 russian drones have already been neutralized by air defense forces.
During the night, russian forces struck Sumy community with guided aerial bombs, resulting in three explosions.
Sumy Regional Military Administration did not confirm reports of the russian army crossing the border into Sumy oblast. According to the Security and Defense Forces, information circulating online about a breakthrough near Zhuravka and Prokhody is unsubstantiated. The border situation remains challenging but stable.
According to Operational Command “North”, as a result of russian artillery shelling of Uhroidy in Krasnopillia community on 14 January, one person was killed. Additionally, a house in the community was destroyed.
In Sumy oblast, emergency power outage schedules were introduced on the morning of 15 January at the direction of “Ukrenergo.” Ukraine’s Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko, stated that the transmission system operator is implementing preventive restrictions due to a massive russian attack.
On 14 January, russian forces carried out 65 attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast. A total of 103 explosions were recorded. According to the Regional Military Administration (RMA), 10 border communities came under enemy fire:
In Seredyna-Buda community, a civilian was injured, 2 cars and a private home were damaged as a result of shelling. On the territory of the community, the enemy carried out mortar attacks (8 explosions), a strike by GAB (8 explosions), artillery shelling (4 explosions), an attack by an FPV-drone (1 explosion), and the dropping of VOG from a UAV (7 explosions).
The Velyka Pysarivka community was hit by FPV-drones (6 explosions), an air strike by the NAR from a helicopter (10 explosions), strikes by guided aerial bombs (2 explosions), mortar attacks (20 explosions). As a result of the attack, a private house was damaged.
The enemy shelled Krasnopillia community by LNG-9 (7 explosions), carried out an attack with an FPV-drone (1 explosion), and the dropping of VOG from a UAV (7 explosions).
Myropillia community was hit by an FPV-drone (1 explosion) and shelled by MLRS (8 explosions).
The russian military dropped explosive devices from UAVs on the territories of Khotyn (4 explosions) and Bilopillia (1 explosion) communities.
The enemy struck Esman (2 explosions), Nova Slobidka (2 explosions), Shalyhyne (2 explosions) and Khutir-Mykhailivskyi (2 explosions) communities by FPV-drones.
On 14 January, the russian military once again hit a civilian car by a drone. Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office informed that this happened at about 3:10pm in Seredyna-Buda. As a result, the 56-year-old owner of the car, who was standing nearby, was injured. On 13 January, a resident of Pozhnia died and her husband was injured when a drone hit a car in Velyka Pysarivka community. On 12 January, the russian army hit a bus in Myropillia community by a drone, as a result of which three people were injured.
On the morning of 13 January, the russian military attacked Vilne village by drones, which is in Velyka Pysarivka community. Headman of Pozhnia Oleksandr Miroshnichenko said that six households and a car were damaged as a result of the shelling. An unexploded drone got stuck in the roof of one of the houses. The village is located about 10 km from the border with the russian federation.
During 2022-2024, the State Environmental Inspectorate in Sumy oblast assessed over UAH 4.6b for 617 documented facts of negative impact on the environment. However, due to the tense security situation, specialists are unable to inspect the areas of hostilities and calculate the damage from constant strikes there.
As of January 2025, no one lives in the border of Popivka village, Okhtyrka region. Headman Oleksandr Miroshnichenko said that six months ago, there were still 12 people there. According to him, before the full-scale russian invasion, the village had about 400 residents.
The head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artiukh, met with the head of the mission “Doctors Without Borders – Belgium” Thomas Baptiste Marchese. They discussed the main areas of work of the international medical humanitarian organization, further opportunities for continuing closer cooperation with the border Sumy oblast.
Chernihiv oblast
Chernihiv Border Detachment reported that throughout 14 January, russian forces attacked three border communities in the oblast using unguided aviation rockets from helicopters, UAVs, FPV-drones, mortars, MLRS, and tube artillery.
Novhorod-Siverskyi community: 3 NAR strikes launched from a helicopter, and 13 mortar strikes. The villages of Hremiach, Buchky, Dibrova, Mykhalchyna-Sloboda were under fire.
Semenivka community: 5 strikes by FPV-drones, one explosive device dropped from a UAV, 17 mortar strikes, 10 strikes by artillery, 20 – by MLRS. The villages of Hremiachka, Kostobobriv, Bleshnia, Leonivka, Mykolaivka, Zarichchia, Medvedivka, and Ivanput were under fire.
Snovsk community: 5 mortar strikes on Kliusy, 2 artillery strikes on Khrinivka.
In Pryluky, the list of socially useful jobs and organizations eligible to involve individuals in such activities was updated for 2025 during a city council meeting. The Pryluky branch of the Regional Employment Center reported receiving a request from the regional organization of Red Cross Society to engage unemployed individuals in assisting war victims, people with disabilities, and combat veterans.
In the communities of Pryluky region, 3,567 unemployed individuals were directed to socially useful jobs throughout 2024. They performed eight types of work: weaving nets and “ghillie suits” for Armed Forces, assisting in the construction of fortifications, participating in repair and restoration efforts, equipping civil defense shelters, helping with firewood preparation, making trench candles, caring for the wounded, and preparing food for military personnel.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
From evening until morning, the enemy continued to attack Nikopol. The occupiers fired from artillery, dropped ammunition from drones and shelled from Grad. They targeted the district centre, Myrove and Marhanets communities. An enterprise and 3 cars were damaged.
In the evening and in the morning, the Air Armed forces worked in the region. The defenders of the sky shot down an enemy drone and a missile.
During the day, the occupiers attacked Nikopol region more than two dozen times. They used artillery, kamikaze drones and dropped ammunition from drones. They targeted the region centre, Pokrovsk, Myrove and Marhanets communities. A 41-year-old man was injured in Nikopol as a result of enemy shelling. He was provided with all the necessary medical care and will be treated at home. Businesses, a private house, 3 outbuildings, a truck and a power line were damaged. It was also noisy in Sinelnykivka district.
Vinnytsia oblast
It became known that seven defenders from Vinnytsia oblast were killed. They are Fedir Zinin, Serhiy Morozov, Vitaliy Zagrai, Yaroslav Kostynchuk, Vitaliy Ivanychko, Yevhen Khachaturyan and Oleh Onyshchuk.
Volodymyr Melnychenko, a defender from Vinnytsia oblast, was posthumously awarded the Order for Courage. The soldier was killed on 5 May 2023 as a result of enemy artillery shelling and a firefight with the enemy near the village of Bakhmut.
The Main Directorate of the National Police of the region reported that a submunition from a cluster warhead of a cruise missile was defused in Vinnytsia oblast.
Kirovohrad oblast
Natalia Styrkul, Head of Dmytrivka community. In Dmytrivka community of Kirovohrad oblast, three residential buildings were damaged by a drone attack at night. It happened in the village of Ivankivtsi. Windows were smashed in the houses.
Yana Prosyanyk, Head of Tsvitne village, said that Tsvitne village of Oleksandrivka community, Kropyvnytskyi region continues to deal with the consequences of the crash of a russian drone on 11 January. The debris fell near houses, damaging ten buildings. Some of the damaged windows and roofs have been repaired.
In the village of Velyka Vyska, Maryanivka community, Novoukrainsk region, the community said goodbye to defender Dmytro Minenko. The soldier died on 10 January 2025 near the village of Bohatyr Volnovakha region, Donetsk oblast.
Poltava oblast
Soldiers from Poltava oblast fell in the war with russia. Ihor Bondarenko was killed on 9 January 2025 during tank battles in Kharkiv oblast. Andriy Mkhitaryan died on 23 March 2024 while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk oblast. His death was confirmed by DNA testing. Soldier Danylo Sushko was killed on 5 January 2025 while performing a combat mission against the russian occupiers near Yelyzavetivka village of Donetsk oblast. And Komar Stanislav, who died on 10 January 2025 as a result of multiple gunshot and mine-blast injuries sustained as a result of hostilities against the russian occupiers near the Andriivka village Donetsk oblast.
Cherkasy oblast
Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, said that the Air Armed Forces were operating in the region. An enemy UAV was shot down. However, its fragments damaged the windows of two houses and a car. There were no casualties.
In Talne, Cherkasy oblast, the funeral of fallen soldier Yevhen Hotsyk was held. The defender was killed on 8 January while performing a combat mission.
In Smila, the city said goodbye to the defender Anton Voitsekhovskyi, who died in the war. He died in Donetsk obkast. He was 38 years old.
In Cherkasy, a defender Oleksandr Petrov, who died in the war, was laid to rest. He died as a result of russian shelling in the northeast.
Ihor Taburets, Head of Cherkasy RMA, announced that two Cherkasy residents were returned from russian captivity. These are sailor Ivan Dibrova, who had been in captivity since 2022, and soldier Serhiy Fedenko, who was still considered missing.

Zaporizhzhia oblast
Yesterday, the occupiers executed 466 strikes on 12 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. The enemy launched 3 airstrikes on Novoandriivka and Preobrazhenka. 271 UAVs of various modifications attacked Lobkove, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Luhivske, Malynivka, Novodarivka, and Olhivske. Thirteen MLRS strikes targeted Novoandriivka, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, and Mala Tokmachka. Additionally, 179 artillery strikes were carried out on the territories of Lobkove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Luhivske, Novodarivka, and Olhivske. Eleven reports were received regarding the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities.
Mykolaiv oblast
Yesterday, 14 January, at 12:01 p.m., the enemy struck Kutsurub community with an FPV-type drone. There were no casualties.
As part of the UActive educational program by the savED charitable foundation, teenagers in Mykolaiv oblast received funding for their own community improvement projects in areas affected by the war. Over 15 weeks, the teenagers participated in the educational phase of the UActive program, gaining knowledge and skills in project management and developing ideas for socially beneficial projects in their communities to present during the final showcase. In total, 10 teams presented their projects, including the creation of museum, artistic, and educational spaces for communities in the region. As a result, the jury selected 5 out of the 10 teams to receive funding from the program’s partners—$5,000 each to implement their projects. The total amount of funds awarded to the students for their initiatives was $25,000.
After nearly three years of full-scale war, a kindergarten reopened In Bashtanka, becoming a true hub for development and safety for 142 children. This preschool is the only one currently operating in Bashtanka, so it also accommodates children from other preschools that still lack shelters. The reopening was made possible through the savED charitable foundation, which, in collaboration with German partners and the Bashtanka City Council, equipped a shelter.
Odesa oblast
As of 6:00 a.m. on 15 January, there was one enemy carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles in the Black Sea with a total salvo of up to four missiles. There were seven enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, two of which were carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 22 missiles.
Over the past day, in the interests of the russian federation, seven vessels passed through the Kerch Strait into the Black Sea, and three ships passed into the Sea of Azov.
Kherson oblast
Around 12:45, russians attacked Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with UAVs. Four people were injured as a result of the attack. A 63-year-old man suffered an explosive injury, shrapnel wounds to his head, chest, and arm. A 71-year-old resident of Kherson was diagnosed with an explosive injury, concussion, and shrapnel wounds to the chest, shoulder, and leg. Two women were hospitalized with explosive injuries, concussions, and multiple shrapnel wounds.
As a result of a midday enemy attack, two residents of Kherson were injured. An 81-year-old man suffered an explosive injury, shrapnel wounds to his head, arms, legs, and chest. A 53-year-old man was diagnosed with an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to the chest and lower leg.
Around 9:00 a.m., russians shelled Bilozerka. A 49-year-old man exiting a pharmacy came under attack. He sustained an explosive injury, a concussion, and a traumatic brain injury.
Yesterday, occupying forces once again shelled Kherson and Beryslav regions using artillery, MLRS, mortars, tanks, and UAVs. Combined enemy shelling targeted Kherson, Antonivka, Veletenske, Sadove, Prydniprovskе, Bilozerka, Molodizhne, Mykilske, Dariivka, Zymivnyk, Beryslav, Zolota Balka, Dudchany, Shliakhove, and Monastyrske. russian strikes damaged 25 objects: 12 private and three multi-story buildings, a hospital, two stores, a gas pipeline, a garage, and five cars. Four people were killed, and five others were injured due to russian aggression.
Kherson Regional Military Administration reported two injured people following yesterday’s shelling of Bilozerka. A 51-year-old local woman who was in a store at the time of the attack was diagnosed with an explosive injury and a concussion. A 49-year-old man was hospitalized with an explosive injury and a concussion.
Police evacuated a severely injured woman from the front-line town of Beryslav. A 78-year-old woman was wounded in an enemy drone attack, suffering gunshot wounds to the head, an open craniocerebral injury, and an open femoral fracture. Police officers from the response sector of Beryslav Regional Department transported the injured woman out of the shelling zone in a patrol car.
The occupiers continued to assault Ukrainian positions in the island zone on the Prydniprovskyi front. There were three unsuccessful enemy assaults over the past day. The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine eliminated 67 personnel and destroyed a “Tunguska” anti-aircraft missile and gun system, 19 artillery systems and mortars (including 2S3 “Akatsiya” self-propelled howitzers), 39 vehicles and armored equipment, five “Shahed-136” strike UAVs, two “Supercam” reconnaissance UAVs, two boats, one motorcycle, six Starlink terminals, and two electronic warfare stations.
As part of an outreach clinic, a team of volunteer doctors, including a pediatrician and an ENT specialist, visited Myroliubivka and Stiike, conducting patient examinations and providing information on disease prevention in winter. Approximately 80 residents received consultations as a result of these visits.

Volyn oblast
The RMA held a meeting with family members of the fallen defenders. At the meeting, posthumous state awards were presented, awarded by Decree of the President of Ukraine.
Zakarpattia oblast
The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the Center for an Informed Community of the Czech Republic. Michael Murad, Head of the Czech delegation, is the Deputy Head of the Center. They discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
The Air Defense Forces were working in the Carpathian region. Critical infrastructure facilities were targeted in the oblast. There were no casualties. Relevant services are working at the scene.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast continues to accept children from frontline areas for rehabilitation. 44 children from Kherson oblast arrived in the oblast, where they will be accepted by a health facility in Kosiv region.
Lviv oblast oblast
During the first air alert, which lasted from 01:35am to 02:48am, an enemy strike drone flew into the territory of Lviv oblast. Soldiers of the Air Defense managed to destroy it. There were no casualties, injuries or damage.
During the morning alert, which lasted from 06:12am to 08:12am, the enemy attacked Lviv oblast with cruise missiles. There were hits on two critical infrastructure facilities in Drohobych and Strii region. Fortunately, no casualties, but there was damage. The oblast’s life support systems are operating normally. No power outages are currently being implemented.
Lviv City Council held a meeting with Jong Il-Ryong, Head of the HD HYUNDAI XITESOLUTION representative office in Ukraine. They discussed possibilities for future cooperation.
Rivne oblast
In Rivne oblast, confiscated property continues to be donated to the Defense Forces. Almost 2,000 liters of fuel, 835 logs of wood, 11 chainsaws and 4 cars. This is only a part of what Rivne RMA donated last year.
Ternopil oblast
Ternopil City Council reported that a memorial plaque will be installed on the facade of the school №27 in honor of serviceman Vitalii Matychak.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
The RMA held an online meeting with representatives of Derbyshire County. They discussed prospects for cooperation in the economy, agriculture, alternative energy, culture, and healthcare.
The RMA reported that 125 servicemen will receive compensation of 50% of the cost of studying at a university.
Chernivtsi oblast
During the morning’s massive russian attack on Ukraine, the airspace of Chernivtsi oblast was violated – a cruise missile was recorded flying over it. There were no casualties or damage in the oblast.
Chernivtsi City Council held a meeting with Ilia Cheban, Vice Mayor of the sister city of Chisinau. They discussed strengthening sister city ties between the cities; exchange of experience in the work of city administrations, and joint projects that will improve the lives of residents.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The Defense Ministry of Germany reported that the country announced a new support package for Ukraine, which will include 9 RCT-30 Boxer wheeled infantry fighting vehicles; 18 RCH 155 self-propelled artillery mounts; 5 Marder infantry fighting vehicles; 600 HF-1 attack drones; 50 VECTOR reconnaissance drones; 46 RQ-35 HEIDRUN reconnaissance drones; 43 SONGBIRD reconnaissance drones; 11,000 120-mm mortar shells; turnstiles, field glasses and wool blankets.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, met with Boris Pistorius, German Defense Minister. They discussed building a comprehensive air defense shield, investing in the Ukrainian defense industry, strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities, and training and supporting soldiers on the battlefield.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian President, met with Andrzej Duda, Polish President. They discussed further cooperation in defense, politics, sanctions.
Ihor Zhovkva, Deputy Head of the President’s Office, met with David Angell, Political Director of the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. They discussed the continued implementation of the bilateral security agreement.
The US imposed sanctions on about 250 individuals and legal entities for ties to the russian federation. New sanctions package includes companies from russia, the UK, Kyrgyzstan, China, the UAE and Turkey.
