The situation on the front line remains tense. Ukrainian defenders continue to actively oppose the russian aggressor, inflicting losses in manpower and equipment.
On 30 November, there were 153 combat clashes.
Velyka Berizka, Porozok, Bachivsk, Sumy oblast; Senkivka, Chernihiv oblast; Tymofiivka, Kharkiv oblast were affected by artillery and MLRS fire.
Towards Kharkiv, the russian occupiers unsuccessfully attacked the defensive lines of Ukrainian units eight times near Vovchansk, Kozacha Lopan, and Hoptivka.
Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three enemy attacks near Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Lozova, Zahryzove, and Novoiehorivka, and three more combat clashes are still ongoing.
Towards Lyman, the invading army carried out 13 assault and offensive actions near Hrekivka, Druzheliubyvka, Novoiehorivka, Zarechne, Terny, and Torske, and three clashes are still ongoing.
Towards Kramatorsk, Ukrainian defenders repelled ten enemy assaults, and two more clashes are ongoing near the settlements of Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne and Stupochky.
Towards Toretsk, 12 clashes are ongoing near the settlements of Toretsk, Nelypivka and Shcherbynivka.
Towards Pokrovsk, the invaders made 28 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders from the occupied positions in the vicinity of the settlements of Myroliubivka, Promin, Myrnohrad, Lysivka, Krasnyi Yar, Dachenske, Zhovte, Chumatske and Novyi Trud. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught and repelled 26 enemy attacks, 2 clashes are still ongoing. Enemy losses are being specified.
Towards Kurakhove, the invaders carried out 38 attacks near Sontsivka, Berestkiv, Zori, Novodmytrivka, Kurakhove, Dachne, Dalne, Katerynivka, Romanivka, Antonivka, Hanivka and Uspenivka, 12 clashes are still ongoing.
Towards Vremivka, fifteen enemy attacks were repelled near the settlements of Veselyi Hai, Kostiantynopolske, Rozlyv, Velyka Novosilka and Novopil.
In the Siversk, Orikhiv, Huliaipole and Kherson, the enemy did not conduct active actions.
The Defense Ministry reports that as a result of the operation of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry in the temporarily occupied Crimea, successful strikes were carried out on 3 expensive russian radar complexes. One Kasta-2E2 radar and two Podlyot radars were hit.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Energy, the energy sector has restored electricity supply to 342,654 consumers who were left without electricity due to hostilities. Due to russian shelling, one of the two power lines of the station was de-energized.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
On November 25, a journalist and a videographer from Hromadske came under Russian attack in the Kupyansk region. They went there with volunteers from the Kharkiv Animal Rescue to film the evacuation of abandoned horses, the media reported. A Russian drone hit one of the two cars the team used to get to the filming location, so the journalists left the village on foot.
Fighters from the 3rd OSH Brigade hit a North Korean Bulsae-4 missile system in the Kharkiv region, the brigade’s press service reported. FPV pilots from the Vitrolom unit managed to do this, the report says.
The day before, at 4:00 p.m., Kupyansk district, Kupyansk TG, village of Kivsharivka were shelled. A 74-year-old man died as a result of an enemy KAB hitting the area near his house.
At 14:10, the Kharkiv district, Lyubotynska TG, and the city of Lyubotyn were shelled, and the air defense forces eliminated an enemy UAV.
At 11:26, the Izyum district, Izyumska TG, and the village of Kramarivka were shelled, and the air defense forces eliminated an enemy UAV.
At 11:00, the Kupyansky district, Kurylivska TG, and the village of Podoli were shelled. As a result of the shelling by the Russian army, a fence and 3 outbuildings were damaged.
In the Kharkiv direction, seven enemy attacks occurred in the areas of Kudiyivka, Hlyboki, Vovchansk, and Tykhy.
In the Kupyansky direction, eight attacks by the invaders occurred during the day. The defense forces repelled enemy assault actions near Kolisnykivka, Lozova, Pershotravneve and Zeleny Gay.
During the day, 54 people were evacuated from the Boriv and Kupyan directions, including 1 child. The forced evacuation of children with families from the village of Borova has been completed. All 119 children have been evacuated.
Donetsk oblast
Pokrovsk region: Heavy shelling
russian shelling caused significant damage to infrastructure. In Kurakhove, private houses were destroyed, while in Uspenivka, one house was demolished and seven others damaged. In Vesely Hai, one house was destroyed. In Myrnohrad, a private house and a vehicle were damaged. In Pokrovsk, a residential building and two administrative facilities were hit.

Kramatorsk region: Civilian casualties
In Zarichne (Lyman community), shelling killed one civilian and damaged a house. In Kostiantynivka, a private house, two production facilities, and a power line were damaged.
Bakhmut region: Active combat operations
In Siversk, a two-story building was damaged. In Chasiv Yar community, six private houses and two apartment buildings were damaged. In Shcherbynivka (Toretsk community), a private house was damaged.
In total, there were nine shelling incidents, leading to evacuation of 691 people from frontline areas, including 92 children.
Tragic Morning in Myrnohrad
russian artillery struck Myrnohrad several times. A private house, a business, a café, and a vehicle were damaged. Two women (65 and 56 years old) were killed, and three others were injured. According to Vadym Filashkin, Head of the Regional Military Administration, all necessary services are working on-site.
Assault operations near Chasiv Yar
There were massive assaults in the area. According to Andrii Polukhin, a representative of the 24th Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, the enemy attempts to breach Ukrainian positions and advance to the rear but suffers significant losses. Recently, russian forces deployed seven infantry fighting vehicles, which were stopped by minefields and destroyed by Ukrainian drones.
Successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Towards Vremivka, russian forces captured Rozdolne village. However, soldiers of the 37th Marine Brigade successfully repelled an enemy assault near Kurakhove. Paratroopers of the 95th Air Assault Brigade took a russian position in Kursk oblast.
The situation remains tense, but Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to effectively counter the enemy and protect civilians.
Luhansk oblast
The enemy attacked towards Lyman and Kupiansk. The invaders’ attacks were stopped near Hrekivka, Novoiehorivka, Dibrova and in Serebrianka forest. Ukrainian soldiers are holding the defense there. russians directed 48 drones at the fortifications of the Ukrainian Defenders and settlements located on the front line. They also opened fire from artillery installations 15 times.
Artem Lysohor, Head of Luhansk RMA, says that by putting pressure on business by the security forces, occupation authorities are trying to contain inflation in the so-called “lpr”. More than a year ago, the invaders appealed to entrepreneurs with a demand to reduce prices for food and other goods to a level where they differ from the purchase prices by no more than five percent. More than a year has passed. And recently, entrepreneurs have begun to be accused of cartel conspiracy and issued appropriate warnings due to the increase in prices. russian pressure on local businesses continues.
Luhansk RMA reported that in Novoaidarska community, six more servicemen and their family members received material assistance. In total, UAH 32,000 was received by four Defenders of Ukraine. UAH 18,000 was received by two family members of combatants who were killed (disappeared) defending the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Vadym Tokar, Head of Makariv, announced that another 6.5 hectares of land was cleared of mines. Currently, the work is ongoing – experts are examining 15.5 hectares on the north-eastern outskirts of the village. A non-technical inspection of about 60 hectares of the community’s territories that could potentially be dangerous has also been carried out.
Kyiv Region State Emergency Service reported that rescuers from Bucha region conducted fire and tactical training at a local enterprise to improve their skills in countering wartime threats. The exercise covered all stages of a rescue operation that resulted from a simulated fall of missile debris.
In the current year, the capital has allocated over UAH 9 bln from the budget to support the military. At the next session, it is planned to allocate another UAH 740 m. These funds are intended for the purchase of necessary equipment, drones, electronic warfare systems, cars, as well as for payments to the military and their families, housing, engineering facilities and rehabilitation.
Gostomel Military Administration reported that building blocks made of recycled materials will be used to rebuild the private sector in the Hostomel community. A pilot reconstruction project will be implemented, in particular, in the village of Moshchun, which was destroyed by almost 90%. In the spring of 2025, an installation for the production of building blocks from recycled materials will be launched in Hostomel thanks to Australian philanthropist Manfred Hean.
Kyiv Regional Military Administration announced that this year, 4.900 IDPs have used the services of the regional employment centre. Currently, 2,100 are employed. In addition, 83 IDPs received grants to set up or develop their own businesses as part of the government’s eRobota programme.
The capital received a tour bus from its sister city Berlin, which is designed to meet accessibility standards, including for people with impaired musculoskeletal functions. Next year, the bus will be used to conduct tours around Kyiv and rehabilitation projects for the servicemen and their families.
Zhytomyr oblast
In Zhytomyr oblast, 31 educational institutions damaged by shelling have been restored as part of the United Nations Development Programme’s ECHO4SCHOOLS-UA: Build Back Better project. It is noted that the total cost of these works is almost UAH 315 m. In addition, the project renovated furniture in 32 educational institutions for UAH 5.1 m. There are 13120 students enrolled in the restored educational institutions.
Berdychiv City Territorial Community has a Resilience Centre, which aims to build the psychological resilience of community residents and provide the necessary assistance in crisis situations. Over the five months of its operation, the Resilience Centre has provided 3,450 services.
Sumy oblast
Sumy Regional Military Administration reported that on 30 November, russians shelled Bilopillia community by mortars, with three explosions recorded.
On 29 November, russians carried out 27 shelling attacks on border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast, resulting in 60 explosions. The attacks targeted Khotin, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Slobidka, Seredyna-Buda, and Znob-Novhorod communities.
Seredyna-Buda community: the enemy struck by mortars (21 explosions), FPV-drones (3 explosions) and dropped explosive devices from BpLA (4 explosions).
Khotin community: russians dropped 2 mines on the territory of the community. There was also an attack by FPV-drones (3 explosions).
Bilopollia community: explosive devices were dropped from UAVs (2 explosions), mortar shelling (9 explosions).
Krasnopillia community: explosive objects were dropped from UAVs (3 explosions), a strike by FPV-drone (1 explosion).
Nova Sloboda community: an attack by FPV-drone (1 explosion).
Znob-Novhorod community: the enemy struck by barrel artillery (8 explosions).
Velyka Pysarivka community: an attack by FPV-drones (3 explosions).
Yuliia Kirillova, Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, announced that the state allocated UAH2.5m to communities in Sumy oblast for the professional adaptation of veterans. The funds will support the professional adaptation of individuals discharged or being discharged from military service, including war veterans, persons with special merits to the country, family members of such individuals, families of deceased (fallen) war veterans, and families of fallen Defenders and Defendresses of Ukraine.
According to Sumy RMA, Head of Sumy Regional Military Administration, Volodymyr Artiukh, handed over modern drones to a territorial defense unit in Sumy oblast. The servicemen, who carry out combat missions in various directions, received three ‘Mavic’ drones. These drones can be used for dropping munitions on enemy positions and equipment, as well as for reconnaissance, including during nighttime operations.
Chernihiv oblast
On 29 November, the russian army continued to attack border communities in Chernihiv oblast. 45 explosions were recorded.
Novhorod-Siverskyi community:
Towards Yasna Poliana village: 6 explosions (probably, drops from UAVs).
Towards Mykhalchyna Sloboda village: 8 explosions (probably, by 120mm mortar).
Semenivka community:
Towards Bleshnia village: 4 explosions (probably, by 120mm mortar).
Towards Hremiachka village: 11 explosions (probably, by 120mm mortar) and 4 explosions (probably, drops from UAVs).
Towards Tymonovychi village: 1 explosion (probably, drops from UAVs).
Towards Karpovychi village: 2 explosions (probably, by FPV-drone).
Towards Halahanivka village: 3 explosions (probably, drops from UAVs).
Snovsk community:
Towards Kliusy village: 1 explosion (probably a drop from a UAV).
Horodnia community:
Towards Senkivka village: 5 explosions (probably a drop from a UAV).
Fortunately, no casualties among the local population have been reported
Horodnia City Council reported that in Horodnia community of Chernihiv oblast, on 30 November residents paid tribute to soldier Dmytro Reshetnyk. He was 23 years old.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, reported that a 38-year-old man died in his home as a result of hostile shelling of the region centre. The occupiers also fired at Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrov communities with drones and artillery. As a result of the attacks, a fire broke out, damaging 7 private houses, 4 outbuildings, power lines and infrastructure. Two domestic animals were killed.
During the day, the enemy attacked Nikopol region about a dozen times. They used artillery and kamikaze drones. The district centre and the Marhanets community were targeted. A private house and an outbuilding were damaged.
Serhiy Lysak, Head of Dniprovskyi district, reported that three people died and 19 were injured in the shelling. There is one child among the injured. The 11-year-old boy is in a hospital in moderate condition.
Vinnytsia oblast
Eight fallen defenders from Vinnytsia oblast were posthumously awarded the Order for Courage, III class. The awards were presented to the families of the fallen defenders.
Kirovohrad oblast
A peaceful action “Don’t be silent, captivity kills” was held in Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad oblast. People gathered in the central square of the city to commemorate prisoners of war and missing soldiers. The event was organised by the families of Azovstal’s prisoners of war and missing soldiers.

Poltava oblast
Poltava community paid tribute to soldier Serhii Vratzlavskyi, who was killed defending Ukraine. The memorial service for the soldier was held at the Holy Dormition Cathedral. The 43-year-old Poltava resident was killed on 25 November 2024 while performing a combat mission in Sumy oblast.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Oleksii Khilchenko, Commander of the 3rd Brigade of the National Guard, reported that the russian army is preparing for an attack in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Currently, russian forces are regrouping and accumulating personnel and equipment.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, said that on 30 November, a 50-year-old man was injured in a russian attack on Mala Tokmachka. The injured man was hospitalised with shrapnel wounds.
According to the CMA, in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, explosions were heard overnight on 30 November. Then parts of the city experienced power outages.
On 29 November, russian forces launched 518 strikes on 9 cities and villages in Zaporizhzhia oblast. A total of 247 drones of various modifications targeted Bilenke, Lobkove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Bilohiria and Novodarivka.
Mykolaiv oblast
According to Mykolaiv RMA, on 29 November, russian forces attacked Kutsurub community twice by FPV drones and artillery, damaging a household structure in Dmytrivka village.
The russian military also struck Mykolaiv oblast with ballistic missiles, causing a fire in a hay storage area at an agricultural enterprise. There were no injuries reported.
Odesa oblast
According to the Ukrainian Navy, as of 6am on 30 November, russia has 2 carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles in the Black Sea.
Kherson oblast
As reported by the RMA, russian forces dropped explosives from a drone in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, injuring a 41-year-old man. The victim suffered blast injuries, a concussion and wounds to his chest, arms and legs.
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the RMA, informed that a russian drone attack in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson killed a 46-year-old man and a 48-year-old woman.
3 children – 2 boys and a girl aged 15-16 – were returned from russian-occupied territory in Kherson oblast to Ukraine-controlled territory.
SES reported that during the night, russian forces shelled Monastyrske village in Beryslav region, causing a residential building to catch fire. Firefighters extinguished the blaze, which spread over 40sq m.
According to the RMA, russian artillery shelled Bilozirka in Kherson oblast, wounding a 48-year-old local woman. She suffered explosive and cranial injuries, a concussion and shrapnel wounds to her neck.
A 52-year-old woman in Kherson was injured by a russian drone attack, suffering a blast injury and a thigh wound. She was hospitalised.
Roman Mrochko, Head of the CMA, stated that as of 11am on 30 November, 7 people were injured in Kherson due to russian forces dropping explosives from drones.
The RMA reported that in Antonivka, russian forces dropped explosives on a 52-year-old man, who suffered a mine-blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his head. He was hospitalised.
In Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, a 73-year-old man was attacked by a russian drone, suffering a mine-blast injury, shrapnel wounds to his leg and an amputation of his lower leg.
The russian forces dropped explosives from a drone onto a minibus in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, injuring 4 people. All of them were hospitalised.

Volyn oblast

Zakarpattia oblast
Uzhhorod City Territorial Community will be allocated UAH 5.85m from the budget to support the military. Deputies voted “yes” changes to the budget of Uzhhorod City Territorial Community for 2024, which provide for the redistribution of budget allocations.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
The RMA held a meeting with business representatives of Prykarpattia, which was held within the framework of the Government and Business Dialogue regional platform. Over 40 entrepreneurs, representatives of the veteran community joined the discussion. It was about creating new jobs, starting or developing a business, as well as social support.
Lviv oblast
Ruzhena Koval was awarded the For the Liberation of Kharkiv Oblast medal. She joined the Ukrainian Volunteer Army (UAA), where she served as an analyst in the unmanned aviation unit. Later, the young girl became a navigator and drone operator and actively participated in combat operations. Also, today she works as an instructor and shares her experience and knowledge.
In memory of Hero Yurii Dolyna, soldier of the 223rd Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment named after the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen, a memorial plaque was opened in Drohobych region. He was killed on 9 September 2022, near the village of Ukrainka, Dnipropetrovsk oblast.
A modern kitchen unit was installed for residents of one of the shelters in Lviv thanks to the international organization World Central Kitchen.
Rivne oblast
An investment project from Rivne oblast was one of the first to be insured against war risks. Rivne Macaroni Factory Vilis concluded an investment loan agreement with the Export Credit Agency. This is the 2nd such agreement in Ukraine. The total amount is UAH 92m. UAH 52m – own funds, UAH 40m – a loan from JSC Ukreximbank, insured by EKA. It will enable the purchase of new equipment for the production and packaging of noodles, as well as the construction of a modern boiler house.
Ternopil oblast
Ternopil City Council reported that 21 servicemen from the community will receive financial aid for equipment and technical means.
Ternopil community sent a SUV to the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi community has already sent 7 attack hexacopters to the military, and over 600 different UAVs in total. In addition, over 6,500 FPV drones and over 170 EW and PEP tools.
Chernivtsi oblast
Chernivtsi City Council reported that the recruiting center of the 82nd Separate Amphibious assault Bukovyna brigade was opened in the city.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The Ministry of Defense of Germany reported that by the end of the year, Germany will deliver 150-200 MRAP armored vehicles to Ukraine. The company that manufactures and assembles these vehicles in Germany receives spare parts for armored vehicles from all over the world. At the same time, there are some deliveries that are still waiting.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Lithuania made a decision to facilitate the purchase of weapons for Ukraine. The Ministry of Internal Affairs, says that the amendments will help Lithuanian institutions to become more competitive on the international market, competing with institutions from other EU countries for similar support projects.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, had a phone conversation with Olaf Scholz, Chancellor of Germany. He announced his readiness to further support Ukraine in the supply of air defense systems.
