It has been the 474th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

The russian federation continues to violate the laws and customs of war, employing tactics of terror and carrying out strikes and shelling on both military and civilian targets.

Within a day, the russian army launched two missile strikes with sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles on residential buildings in Kharkiv oblast.

In addition, russian troops launched a total of 17 aerial strikes and approximately 22 shelling attacks with multiple rocket launcher systems. The civilian infrastructure has been damaged. Specifically, the shelling of Bilotserkivka in the Sumy region and Shevchenkove, Kharkiv oblast caused destruction of residential private houses and other civilian infrastructure.

Furthermore, russian soldiers dropped three guided aerial bombs on the city of Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia oblast, resulting in death of one civilian and destruction of private houses.

Ukraine is still under the threat of missile and aerial strikes.

The russian army is focusing its main efforts towards Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka. There were 23 armed clashes.

Towards Volyn and Polissia, the operational situation remains unchanged.

Towards Siversk and Sloboda, the russian army conducted mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas such as Tymonovychi and Khotiivka, Chernihiv oblast, Seredyna-Buda, Sopych, Zarutske, and Horky in the Sumy region, as well as Ivashky, Veterynarne, Vysoka Yaruha, Strilecha, Morokhovets, Ohirtseve, Hatysche, Budarky, Kharkiv oblast.

Towards Kupiansk, the russian army carried out airstrikes in the areas of Milove and Kyslivka, Kharkiv oblast and Novoselivske, Luhansk oblast. Artillery and mortar shelling affected Dvorichna, Masiutivka, Lymanske Pershe Kyslivka, Tabaiivka, Berestove, Kharkiv oblast, and Novoselivske, Luhansk oblast.

Towards Lyman, russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Vesele. They launched airstrikes on the populated areas of Yampil, Spirne, and Vesele, Donetsk oblast. Artillery shelling affected Nevske, Bilohorivka, Luhansk oblast, and Yampolivka, Torske, Dibrova, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Rozdolivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Bakhmut, russian soldiers carried out an aerial strike in the area of Bila Hora, Donetsk oblast. Vasiukivka, Blahodatne, Novomarkove, Kalynivka Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Druzhba, Toretsk, Pivdenne, Sukha Balka, Donetsk oblast were affected by russian artillery shelling.

Towards Avdiivka, the russian army conducted offensive actions towards Avdiivka, but without any success. They carried out airstrikes in the areas of Avdiivka and Severne, Donetsk oblast. Artillery shelling targeted areas near the settlements of Keramyk, Novokalynove, Stepove, Avdiivka, Severne, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Netaylove, Karlivka, Nevelske, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Mariinka, the Ukrainian military repelled all 14 russian attacks in the area of the city of Mariinka. The russian army carried out airstrikes in the areas of Staromykhailivka and Krasnohorivka. At the same time, they conducted artillery shelling on Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Hryhorivka, Maksymilianivka, Pobeda, and Novomykhailivka, Donetsk oblast.

Towards Shakhtarsk, the russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions towards Blahodatne. They launched airstrikes in the areas of Zolota Nyva, Shakhtarske, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, and Blahodatne, Donetsk oblast. Russian soldiers also shelled Bohoiavlenska, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, and Velyka Novosilka.

Towards Zaporizhzhia and Kherson, the russian army continues defensive operations. They carried out an aerial strike in the area of Orikhove, Zaporizhzhia oblast. Russian soldiers conducted artillery shelling on populated areas, including Vremivka, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Donetsk oblast, Levadne, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Huliaypilske, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Zherebianky, Lobkove, Kamianske, Zaporizhzhia oblast, Novoberislav, Vesele, Kozatske, Chornobaivka, Dniprovsk, Yantarnie, Berehove, Kizomys, Kherson oblast, and the city of Kherson.

Russian troops continue to use the civilian infrastructure to provide medical assistance to their wounded servicemen. For example, in the settlement of Mistky, Luhansk oblast, within the premises of a local school, they have set up a field hospital where over 100 russian soldiers are being treated.

There has been an increase in desertion cases within the Storm-Z assault units of the russian armed forces against the backdrop of successful military operations by the Ukrainian Defense Forces and significant losses suffered by the Russian army in terms of personnel in temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk oblast. These deserters increasingly choose to abandon their combat positions on their own.

Desertion cases have also been observed with approximately 25 russian soldiers deserting in Mariupol and Novoazovsk due to the unofficial cancellation of leaves promised to them by the russian military leadership.

Russian troops allow evacuation of Ukrainian citizens only after receiving bribes in the flooded town of Hola Prystan, Kherson oblast. Moreover, they destroy Ukrainian passports, birth certificates, and other Ukrainian documents. Local residents are being resettled to temporarily occupied Crimea and Krasnodar in the russian federation.

The aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine delivered 8 strikes on russian personnel concentration areas.

Ukrainian troops destroyed a russian Ka-52 helicopter and an operational-tactical level UAV Orlan-10.

Ukrainian rocket and artillery units targeted and hit 3 command posts, 2 anti-aircraft missile complexes, russian manpower buildup area, and 3 of their artillery units in firing positions.

On the left bank of Kherson oblast, the situation remains critical due to the russian blocking evacuation of the local population. Although the russians did not allow civilians to evacuate and opened fire on them, the rescuers managed to save 112 people.

The head of the IAEA, Raphael Grossi, is going to Ukraine to assess the situation at the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP and provide an assistance program after the disaster at the Kakhovsky HPP. He announced this on the Twitter social network. He emphasized that he will assess the situation at the ZNPP and conduct a rotation with a reinforced team.


Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Kharkiv oblast

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy launched airstrikes near Milove and Kyslivka. In total, at least 15 settlements in the region were attacked.

Viktor Kovalenko, head of the Zolochiv City Military Administration reported that russian troops shelled Ivashky border settlement with artillery and helicopters on 12 June. According to him, the settlement is without electricity and russia has been shelling it for three days in a row.

Yesterday the enemy attacked settlements in Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv and Bohodukhiv regions with artillery, mortars and rocket launchers.

In the morning, a 40-year-old man was injured as a result of shelling of Vilkhuvatka village, Kupiansk region.

At night, the enemy launched a rocket attack on Khoroshevo village, Kharkiv region. A two-storey residential building was destroyed and a fire broke out. No one lived in the house so there were no casualties. Serhii Starikov, head of the Shevchenkove Military Administration informed that at least 40 buildings, including his house, were damaged as a result of the shelling. He said two people were injured.

At around 5:30 am, russians launched an S-300 missile attack on Shevchenkove, Kupiansk region, damaging a civilian industrial facility and a residential building. A 33-year-old civilian man was injured.

In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv region, at least 2 residential buildings were damaged as a result of hostile shelling. A private building was also damaged in Lyptsi village, Kharkiv region. At least 10 residential buildings, garages and outbuildings were damaged as a result of shelling from Uragan MRLs in Tsyrkuny village, Kharkiv region.

In Nova Husarivka village, Izium region, a 55-year-old civilian man exploded on an unknown explosive device in his own yard. He was hospitalised with injuries.

Donetsk oblast

Yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced up to 700 meters towards Bakhmut. Russian troops are conducting counter-attacks, but with no success.

Two injured civilians, a damaged House of Culture on Central Avenue and residential blocks in the 9th quarter, this is how Avdiivka looks like after another air strike. The invaders struck the city again at 9:10 am with two missiles. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties, the injured are being treated in a local hospital.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, said that 75% of the houses in Blahodatne, Neskuchne and Strozheve were destroyed. According to him, civilians are being evacuated from the liberated settlements of Volnovakha region. 11 civilians have been evacuated from the de-occupied villages of Donetsk oblast: 7 people left Storozhove. The rest are from Blahodatne and Neskuchne.

Towards Volnovakha, russians launched an airstrike on Velyka Novosilka and shelled Bohoiavlenka of the Vuhledar community with artillery, damaging outbuildings.

Towards Donetsk, there was a massive shelling of Avdiivka in the early hours of the morning. The shells hit a motor depot area.

Towards Horlivka, 2 buildings in Chasiv Yar community and 1 building in Toretsk were damaged.

Towards Lysychansk, a building in Siversk was damaged and there were 10 attacks on Lyman community.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration informed that yesterday russians killed one civilian in Avdiivka. Two more people were injured in the region. 

Luhansk oblast

Russians are still trying to destroy Nevske. During one of the daytime attacks, a man sustained mine-blast trauma and shrapnel wounds. He was evacuated by our military to a hospital in Donetsk oblast. The victim received the necessary aid there.

It is extremely dangerous to stay in the village. Nevske was shelled at least 15 times yesterday alone. Makiivka, Hrekivka and Novoliubivka were hit ten times. Infrastructure facilities in and around the settlements were damaged.

In addition, the invaders shelled Novoselivske and Bilohorivka. Nevske was attacked from the air. They unsuccessfully attacked towards Bilohorivka.

Luhansk Regional Military Administration reported that the customs regime has not been cancelled on the border between russia and the so-called ” Luhansk People’s Republic”, and announcements are being spread in the occupied cities to find numerous devotees.

Artem Lysohor, head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, said that the invaders have damaged or destroyed 199 educational institutions. 83 general secondary education institutions have established the educational process remotely on the territory controlled by the Government of Ukraine. Russians took almost all the property from the schools – they were surprised by the quality of our classrooms. The buildings of the evacuated universities in the region, located in the occupied territory, were destroyed by the enemy.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Charity race in memory of fallen Major of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Oleksii Chubashev, call sign Recruit, took place in Kyiv park. The event was organized by the public organization VATRA. About 500 people took part in the event, the funds will be transferred to the rehabilitation and prosthetics center.

The Bucha City Council reported that City of Bucha has sent equipment to Kherson to ensure drinking water supply. The donated filtration unit purifies up to a ton of river water per hour.  

A military charity marathon was held in Kyiv to provide moral support to people with disabilities and raise money for the hospital. The marathon titled “Born from the Flame” was launched by soldiers Serhiy Khrapko and Oleksandr Shvetsov, who lost their limbs while defending the country. During the marathon, the men ran 60 kilometers toward each other: Serhiy started from Kyiv and Oleksandr from Zhytomyr. During the event, Ukrainians donated more than UAH 11 million.

Vadim Tokar, Mayor of Makariv, reported that a unique classroom shelter will be opened in a gymnasium in Kyiv oblast. According to the head, the room was modernized, equipped with comfortable membranes and everything necessary for learning.

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine Seymur Mardaliyev visited Irpin. The Azerbaijani Ambassador noted: “We will continue to assist you in every possible way, in all those areas where assistance is still needed.”. After the de-occupation of Irpin, a company from Azerbaijan restored the Linguist Lyceum in the city, which was destroyed by the russian military.

Zhytomyr oblast

The Zhytomyr Regional Prosecutor’s Office recorded that criminal proceedings were initiated over missile attack on residential area in Zhytomyr oblast. On the night of June 9, 2023, the russian armed forces launched a missile attack on Zvyagel: one person was killed, others were injured, 6 residential buildings were destroyed and about 60 others were damaged.

Zhytomyr RMA reported that almost 80 tons of humanitarian aid sent from Zhytomyr oblast to Kherson oblast. The humanitarian cargo includes drinking water, food, medicines, clothing, hygiene products, etc. The aid was collected by representatives of the Armed Forces, educational institutions, local communities, charitable and religious organizations, and volunteers. Zhytomyr bread factory donated 3 tons of bread.

In Oleska community of Zhytomyr oblast, a charity fair was held at the local lyceum, raising over UAH 10,000. The funds were used to purchase equipment for the military.

Sumy oblast

 According to Sumy Regional Military Administration, yesterday, the enemy opened mortar and barrel artillery fire on three border communities in Sumy oblast, inflicting 30 shells on the territories of the oblast. Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, and Bilopillia communities were shelled. Due to enemy shelling, 4 households, 2 multi-storey buildings, 6 private garages, and a power line were damaged in Bilopillia district.

Sumy RMA reported that at night and in the morning, the russians opened fire using mortars, barrel artillery, and MLRS on the border areas of the oblast again. There were 44 shells fired. Once again, Nova Sloboda and Bilopillia communities were affected by russian shelling: a five-storey building, 3 private houses, 6 garages, an elevator, a power line, a car, and a walk-behind tractor were damaged in Bilopillia. Also, there were attacks on the territories of Myropillia, Esman, Hlukhiv, and Seredyno-Buda regions.

On June 11, the russian army opened artillery fire at a pedestrian crossing of the Znobivka River in Sumy oblast. Video of the shelling was published by one of the russian propaganda channels. Volunteers of the international community GeoConfirmed managed to pinpoint the location where the attack occurred – Shostka region, about 2 km from the russian border. The bridge that the enemy tried to destroy is located on the outskirts of Nova Vasylivka.

Sumyoblenergo reported that as a result of russian shelling, 33 settlements in Sumy oblast were left without power supply, namely, the residents of Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Putivl, Seredyno-Buda, and Hlukhiv communities.

Another resident of Sumy oblast returned home from captivity. On June 11, border guard Ivan Vorobyov, a resident of Konotop, returned home as part of the prisoner exchange. He was taken captive on the first day of the war, while fulfilling an order to guard the state border at the Bachivsk checkpoint.

According to Kherson Regional Military Administration, Konotop community handed over a bus and other humanitarian aid to Kherson. Apart from the bus, fuel, a boat, a motor pump, food, and other necessary items were sent to Kherson.

Chernihiv oblast

Halyna Shekhovtsova, spokesperson for the Chernihiv Border Guard Detachment, reported that on the night of June 12, the enemy shelled two villages in Chernihiv oblast. There were 6 shells fired on Khotiyivka village and 2 shells – on Tymonovychi village; according to the preliminary information, barrel artillery fire was applied.

Residents of two villages in Sosnytska community raise money for attack drones. Residents of Zmitniv and Spaske villages conducted charity concerts to raise UAH 20,000, which will be used to purchase drones for the Magyar Birds unit and other needs of the defenders from Chernihiv oblast.

A 20-year-old resident of Chernihiv oblast collects Ukrainian clothes from his native land. Oleksandr Zharykov, a resident of Desna community, has a collection of authentic clothes that he started collecting a little over a year ago, and currently has samples from Tuzhar, Kosachivka, Sorokoshychi, and Novyi Hlybiv villages. Oleksandr managed to collect more than 20 embroidered festive women’s shirts. Many villagers simply gave the boy old embroidered shirts to preserve the historical memory.

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovs’k Regional State Administration, informed that one of the region’s industrial enterprises together with the Kryvyi Rih football club purchased  8 powerful all-wheel drive SUVs.  The crossovers will be sent to the Defence Forces at the frontline.

Due to the lack of water, patients are being transported from five medical facilities in Nikopol to Dnipro and Pavlohrad. Eight palliative care patients have already been transported, and patients undergoing haemodialysis are next in line.

11-year-old Artur Serdechnyi from Pavlohrad writes a blog in which he tells about his house, destroyed by the russian army. He comes to the ruins, helps clean up the area, and makes videos about the consequences of the russian shelling.

Vinnytsia oblast

​​ According to the chairman of the regional council, Viacheslav Sokolovyi, there are three residents of Vinnytsia oblast who were released from Russian captivity on 11 June: Serhii from the village of Plebanivka in Sharhorod district, Valentyn from Tyvriv and Dmytro from Vinnytsia.

The seniors from Vinnytsia oblast help to make “kikimora”  camouflage suits for Ukrainian defenders. The volunteers hand over the painted and flattened blanks to the VinSolard centre, where the camouflage suits are made. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, this volunteer centre has made over 115 kikimoras.

Kirovohrad oblast

According to the Head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration Andrii Raikovych, senior sailor Artem Tantsiur, born in 1999 in the Novoukrainka region of Kirovohrad oblast, was released from russian captivity.

Poltava oblast

Kostiantyn Nevdakh, a resident of the village of Deikalivka in the Zinkiv community, is one of those released from captivity. He had been missing since 8 February 2023. 42-year-old Andrii Hrytsenko from Poltava was also released. The medic went missing while performing a combat mission in the Donetsk oblast.

Cherkasy oblast

According to the Head of the Cherkasy State Administration Ihor Taburets, soldier Andrii Bilokurets was released from captivity during a regular exchange. The resident of Uman had been missing since last May. 

A charity event called “With a song in our hearts we bring victory closer” was held in Talianky, Talne region. The fair raised UAH 43,150 for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

The enemy attacked the frontline city of Orikhiv. Three guided enemy aircraft bombs hit the city, causing destruction to private houses and infrastructure. One person was killed, and one person was injured in the attack.

Over the course of two days, on June 10 and 11, кussian forces shelled the territory of Zaporizhzhia oblast 145 times. As a result of the shelling, there were casualties and injuries.

Yesterdau, June 11, the enemy carried out 74 attacks on 17 settlements in the region. The occupiers launched four missile strikes using multiple rocket launchers on Chervone and Stepove, as well as 70 artillery strikes on Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Olhivka, Temirivka, Novodarivka, Kamianske, and other frontline villages. One woman was injured.

On June 4, Ukrainian defenders on the Zaporizhzhia front liberated the village of Novodarivka, which had previously been occupied by russian forces. This was reported today by the Zaporizhzhia Separate Brigade of Territorial Defense.

The russian army, following the explosion of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station, blew up a dam near the village of Novodarivka, leading to the flooding of the banks of the Mokri Yaly River. This was reported by Valeriy Shershen, the spokesperson for the Joint Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction. According to him, russian forces are trying to use any means to prevent the breakthrough of their defensive fortifications during the counteroffensive of Ukrainian forces.

According to Zaprizhzhia RMA, the situation in the Bilenke community is under control. The population residing in the area receives drinking water on a regular basis.

Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), has traveled to Ukraine. Grossi plans to present a program of assistance in overcoming the consequences of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station dam breach, assess the situation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and carry out a rotation of the IAEA Support and Assistance Mission to Zaporizhzhia (ISAMZ) in an augmented composition.

During the night of June 12, an explosion occurred in the temporarily occupied city of Melitopol in Zaporizhzhia oblast. According to the mayor, Ivan Fedorov, a russian locomotive was destroyed. It was used for transporting fuel to the front.

Mykolaiv oblast

Russian troops continue to shell the communities of Mykolaiv oblast from the Kinburn Peninsula, located on the opposite bank of the Dnipro-Buh Estuary. As of June 11, the flooding has not affected the deployment of russian army units on the spit.

31 populated areas have been flooded in the Mykolaiv oblast. 982 individuals, including 167 children, have been evacuated. 2 people have died. This information was announced by the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko.

The Service for Technical Assistance Organization of Germany has provided Mykolaiv oblast with a mobile water treatment station, Kärcher WTC 5000.

PJSC “Mykolaiv CHP” in cooperation with Mykolaiv City Council and the Kingdom of Denmark has received pipes for the repair of heating networks. These pipes will reduce heat losses and have a longer service life due to their resistance to corrosion.

The Resource Center for Civic Initiatives, as part of the #SOSCHILDREN emergency assistance program, with the support of SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine, has purchased an additional batch of 670 sets of children’s food. Depending on the set’s composition, it contains milk porridge (3 pieces) or powdered milk mixture (1 piece), as well as biscuits (2 pieces), baby puree (5 pieces), and juice (5 pieces). All sets have already been handed over to the Municipal Center for Social Services of Mykolaiv City Council for further distribution to families with children and IDP families. In addition to children’s food, families with children in Mykolaiv also receive monthly food and hygiene kits as part of the program. With the support of a donor, the distribution of school stationery sets is also planned, which will be useful in the upcoming academic season.

Odesa oblast

The threat of missile strikes and kamikaze drone attacks remains high for Odesa oblast. As of June 11, six enemy ships without missile launchers were on combat duty in the Black Sea. As reported by Odesa RMA, the situation at sea is dynamic, and the carrier of cruise missiles “Kalibr” can appear at any time, even in stormy weather.

A convoy of humanitarian aid from the Moldovan government arrived at the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odesa oblast overnight from June 10 to 11. It includes two pumping stations PNS-110, seven SAVA-500 plastic boats, five inflatable boats Orion, 161 pairs of rubber boots, a motor pump PFPN 8/800, and preserved food products (over 63,000 cans). Currently, work is underway to organize the delivery of the provided equipment to the flooded areas for assistance to the population.

In the past 7 days, border guards, along with other Defense Forces, have discovered six mines of various modifications that were washed ashore in Odesa oblast after the explosion of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station. As reported by the South Regional Office of the State Border Guard Service, most of the explosive objects were destroyed through controlled detonation.

Kherson oblast

As of 13:00 on June 12, there are 46 flooded settlements in Kherson oblast, including 32 (3,801 houses) on the territory controlled by Ukraine and 14 on the temporarily occupied territory. 2,743 people, including 205 children and 76 individuals with limited mobility, have been evacuated. Eight people have died, and 42 individuals, including 7 children, are considered missing. There is a stable decrease in water levels in the flooded areas. Residents of Kherson oblast are reporting the flooding of personal property to the police, with 1,927 reports already registered.

803 police officers are involved in the rescue operation. Enhanced patrolling of coastal and flooded areas continues, and assistance is being provided to citizens while evacuations are ongoing.

Starting from June 13, entry to the flooded Korabel microdistrict in Kherson, caused by the explosion of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station, is prohibited. A curfew will be in effect from 15:00 to 12:00 the following day.

Due to the breach of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station dam, the russians managed to withdraw a certain number of their units to transfer them to the Zaporizhzhia direction against the advancing forces of the Ukrainian Defense. Their main goal is to disrupt the advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This statement was made by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksandr Pavliuk. He also confirmed that russia has begun using man-made disasters as weapons, so the Ukrainian command does not exclude any criminal actions from the russians.

Yesterday, June 11, russian occupiers shelled peaceful settlements in Kherson oblast 26 times, firing 132 shells from artillery, mortars, Grad MLRS, aircraft, and drones. russian military conducted airstrikes with guided bombs on the territory of Novoberyslav and Kozatske, explosions occurred near a kindergarten and a five-story building, and artillery shelling targeted the village of Sadove. Kherson was attacked three times by the enemy, with 8 shells fired at the city. russian forces targeted residential quarters in the region’s settlements. The russians struck civilian infrastructure in Kherson, shelled the areas where the evacuation of affected individuals from flooded areas was taking place. Enemy shells hit multi-story and private houses in the Korabel, Shumensky districts and suburban areas. As a result of russian aggression, three people were killed, and twelve were injured.

Regions continue helping Kherson oblast. Sumy RMA provided bulletproof vests, heaters, buckets for water, drinking water, fuel, pumps, rubber boats, boat engines, hygiene products, first aid kits, and other necessary items. Poltava RMA, together with communities, philanthropists, and socially responsible businesses, collected and sent 13 boats, 12 pumps with hoses, boat engines, rescue vests, and lifebuoys. Additionally, air heaters, motor oil, bulletproof vests, and 20 tons of drinking water were delivered.

Today, the State Emergency Service (DSNS) specialists, who are involved in rescuing people and eliminating the consequences of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station explosion, received a fire truck with a pump for water pumping.

The police delivered drinking water and supplies to the flood-affected village of Mykolaivka in Beryslav region. The police officers from Beryslav and Kakhovka Regional Police Departments brought food kits and medicine to the partially flooded village of Mykolaivka, which was affected by the explosion of the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Station carried out by russian forces.

Volyn oblast

Five defenders from Volyn were released from captivity. These are servicemen who have been in captivity for over a year. They were captured while performing combat missions near Liman, Donetsk oblast. One of them was considered missing since May of this year.

140 children from the frontline areas of the country came to Volyn oblast for rehabilitation. In total, it is planned to carry out 12 such visits in Volyn and to improve the health of 1,5K children.

Zakarpattia oblast

Two trucks with another humanitarian aid, namely, drinking water, disinfectants and hygiene products, food, generators, tents etc., are already on their way from Zakarpattia to Kherson oblast.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA reported that 4 drones were sent from the oblast for soldiers from the 10th separate mountain assault brigade Edelveis.

The RMA reported that over a hundred children have already recovered thanks to the Care for the Hero’s Family project. This time, nine children and their mothers (6 families) went to visit the Carpathians.

Lviv oblast

The RMA reported that among 95 soldiers who were released from russian captivity yesterday, there are three soldiers from Lviv oblast.

An ambulance for the National Guardsmen was sent from Drohobych region thanks to the KOLO CF within the framework of the 1K cars of freedom initiative.

Craig Khobar, leading American surgeon of Ukrainian origin ,will operate for three days at Okhmatdyt. The program of the visit includes consultations and operations for patients whose treatment was started earlier.

The first pre-frontline dental care clinic was opened in Lviv oblast. The clinic will provide dental services free of charge to the mobilized before going to the front.

An apartment building for IDPs and vulnerable population categories will be built in Drohobych with the assistance of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). Two plots of land are under consideration for construction. Currently, working meetings and the signing of the Memorandum on cooperation between the city and IOM have been planned.

Rivne oblast

The Defense Council of Rivne oblast extended the ban on collecting forest wild plants (berries, mushrooms, medicinal herbs) in 6 border territorial communities, including Loknytsk, Zarichnensk, Vysotsk, Myliatsk, Starosilsk and Berezivsk communities.

Boats, pumps for pumping out water, gas compressors, mattresses, boots, clothes, baby food and diapers were delivered from Rivne oblast to residents of Kalinivsk community.

Ternopil oblast

The RMA reported that four defenders from Ternopil oblast returned home from russian captivity.

Little volunteers from Ternopil oblast were awarded certificates from Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The award ceremony took place in Ternopil Drama Theater.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Chernivtsi oblast

Chernivtsi oblast sent over 220 tonnes of aid, namely, drinking water, food, baby food, necessary equipment etc., to the people of Kherson. The collection of aid continues.
