Luhansk oblast

According to the Regional Military Administration, the enemy attempted to storm the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 21 times in the Lyman direction. In particular, on the territory of Luhansk Oblast, the occupiers tried to push Ukrainian defenders back near the settlement of Hrekivka. For the second day in a row, the enemy has been using over 300 unmanned aerial vehicles on this section of the front.

It has also been reported that approximately 4,500 children who remain in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk Oblast will be taken to the Russian Federation this year by the invaders to participate in propaganda activities. These actions are labeled as “educational routes.” The first shift has already formed six groups of children from Sievierodonetsk, Kreminna, Lysychansk, Troitske, Rubizhne, Svatove, Stanytsia Luhanska, and Khrustalnyi.

Occupied Luhansk

In the past eleven years, Russia has not invested a single ruble into maintaining Luhansk’s infrastructure. Nor would it have done so in the foreseeable future if emergency situations hadn’t started to arise — such as those involving the city’s bridges. Each of the three bridges in one of the districts could likely have been repaired sequentially. Instead, the occupiers decided to block traffic on all of them nearly simultaneously, clearly signaling that they caused the transportation collapse and only they can end it.

As an alternative, they offered a single pontoon crossing with one-way traffic: from morning until noon, vehicles are allowed to move toward the city center, and from afternoon until evening — in the opposite direction. For three hours a day, cars will pass in alternating directions. The rest of the time, movement through several districts of Luhansk will be paralyzed.
