What happened in Ukraine today:

The situation on the frontline remains tense but under control. The Ukrainian defence forces are making efforts to disrupt the aggressor’s offensive plans and destroy its personnel and equipment.
Since the beginning of the day, there have been 161 combat engagements.
The enemy launched four missile strikes (using six missiles), 33 air strikes (including 50 UAVs) and 433 kamikaze drone strikes, and fired 3,072 times at Ukrainian troops’ positions and populated areas with artillery and other types of weapons.
Towards Kharkiv, russian invaders made 11 attempts to storm the defensive lines near Hlyboke, Lyptsi and Vovchansk. Four combat engagements are ongoing. The situation is under control of our troops.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy attacked our positions 17 times. Attacks near Synkivka, Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane and Stelmakhivka were successfully repelled. Three engagements continue near Synkivka.
Towards Lyman, russian troops also made 17 attack attempts near Hrekivka, Nevske and Makiivka. Five combat engagements are ongoing.
Towards Siversk, the aggressor was also active, where 19 russian assault attacks were recorded. Bilohorivka, Ivano-Darivka, Spirne, Vyimka and Verkhnokamianske were targeted.
In the area of the latter two, the fighting continues. The invaders are being adequately repelled.
Towards Kramatorsk, our troops stopped five enemy attacks near Nove and Klishchiivka. One battle is still ongoing in Nove towards Chasiv Yar.
Towards Toretsk, russians tried 19 times to break into our defensive lines near the settlements of Toretsk, Pivnichne, Pivdenne and Niu-York. 16 attacks were repelled, three are still ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, the enemy is attacking most intensively here. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 44 russian assaults. Ukrainian troops continue to repel 14 attacks near Novooleksandrivka, Novoselivka Persha, Yevhenivka, Sokil, Voskhod and Netailove. Also russians are paying a heavy price for their attempts to advance towards Pokrovsk. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy’s losses here are as follows: 109 invaders were killed, 181 were injured, and several more were taken prisoner. One russian tank, one infantry fighting vehicle and one MT-LB, two Tiger armoured vehicles, two cars and one buggy, four operational and tactical UAVs and one cannon were destroyed. The damaged enemy equipment includes a tank, a cannon, a 120mm mortar and four vehicles.
Towards Kurakhove, the invaders tried to advance seven times near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Paraskoviivka, but without success.
Towards Vremivka, there were 10 hostile attacks near Vodiane and Urozhaine. One attack is still being repelled. The defence forces control the situation.
Towards Orikhiv, two enemy attacks towards Robotyne and Novodanilivka failed.
Towards Prydniprovskyi, the invaders continue to try to push the Ukrainian Defence Forces units out of their positions at the footholds. All 8 russian attacks today were unsuccessful.
9 more children from the temporarily occupied communities of Kherson oblast were returned to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine. The youngest child is 8 months old, the oldest is 17 years old.
Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets reported that russia holds more than 14,000 Ukrainians in captivity. We cannot exchange them, we have no additional influence on russia. There is not even a legal basis on which we can conduct this process.
The spokesman of the Khortytsia operational-strategic group, informed that towards Chasiv Yar, russians lost more than 5,000 people in June. Yesterday Ukrainian defenders killed 68 russians, captured one and injured 127. At the same time, seven dugouts and three ammunition depots were destroyed.
The state budget of Ukraine received $20.2bn in six months. External financing amounted to $13.8bn. The European Union, Japan, Canada and the IMF are the largest donors of budgetary aid for this period. At the same time, Ukraine received $6.4bn from domestic government bonds, and the issue of government bonds helped raise $1.4bn to the Ukrainian budget in June.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional MIlitary ADministration, reported that at about 4:10pm, the enemy hit Kharkiv with a KAB.
Viktor Kovalenko, Head of Zolochiv Village Military Administration, informed that Baranivka of Zolochiv community was shelled by artillery for two days in a row and as a result of the shelling, there is no electricity in the village and three houses were destroyed. 47 people remain in the village.

The General Staff as of 4pm said that towards Kharkiv, Ukrainian defenders repelled 6 russian assaults near Hlyboke, Vovchansk and Lyptsi.
Two battles are ongoing.
The russians launched seven attacks with guided aerial bombs using 11 KABs. They hit near Vovchanski Khutory, Tykhe, Okhrymivka, Neskuchne, Lyptsi and Vesele.
Towards Kupiansk, the invaders attacked 11 times near Synkivka, Stelmakhivka, Pishchane, Berestove and Stepova Novoselivka. Also russian aviation attacked Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi and Lisna Stinka by KAB bombs.
Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the RMA, stated that at 5am, the russians attacked Lisna Stinka village of Kurylivka community, Kupiansk region. As a result of the shelling by the KAB, the educational institution was partially destroyed. The windows in the building of culture were broken.
At 4:30pm yesterday, russians attacked the post office in Slobidskyi district. As a result of the shelling of the post office, 8 trucks of the Nova Poshta were on fire. 3 production and storage buildings and a medical facility were damaged. 10 people were injured, including one 8-month-old child and a man killed.
As a result of the shelling of Kharkiv, 8 people are in hospitals: 6 adults and 2 children. A 58-year-old man is in critical condition, but stable. He received an explosive wound with damage to his head, torso and left upper limb. Another 5 adults are in moderate condition. A 16-year-old boy is in a stable condition, the dynamics are positive. An 8-month-old boy is in satisfactory condition. Today he is preparing for discharge under the supervision of his family doctor.
The press service of the company reported that truck driver Ihor Shramko was killed as a result of the russian strike on the Nova Poshta terminal. He has two children. They will receive monthly financial support from Nova Poshta in the amount of UAH 10,000 until they reach the age of majority. Each child will also receive a $12,500 grant for future education from the company. Additionally, the company will cover all funeral expenses. Six other employees of the company are in hospital with moderate injuries. Two drivers suffered minor injuries and are being treated at home.

Yevhen Tafiichuk, the company’s chief operating officer, reported that about two thousand parcels worth UAH 3m were damaged and destroyed as a result of a russian attack on the Nova Poshta terminal.
At 4:26pm, russians attacked Kolisnykivka village, Senkivske forestry and forestry facilities in Kupiansk region. As a result of the shelling, a forest of 4 hectares is on fire.
At 4:22pm, russians attacked Kupiansk. A private house was destroyed as a result of enemy shelling.
At 4pm, russians attacked Derhachi village of Derhachi community, Kharkiv region, the territory of a farm. An outbuilding was damaged by enemy shelling.
At 11:30am, the invaders shelled Odnorobivka village by artillery. Two two-storey apartment buildings and a two-storey building with three apartments, a shop and the premises of the starosta district sustained significant damage.
A 60-year-old woman, a resident of Yaremivka village of Izium region, hit a mine. She received medical aid.

At 8am, russians attacked Tsentralna Street of Baranivka village, Zolochiv community, Bohodukhiv region. The shelling damaged a private house.
Towards Kharkiv, there were 9 enemy assaults near Vovchansk and Hlyboke. Two of them are still ongoing. The situation is under control of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
Towards Kupiansk, there were 8 battles. The invaders attacked near Stelmakhivka, Pishchane and Synkivka. All attacks were repelled.
The Kharkiv operations group reported that russians lost 102 people, 49 pieces of weapons and military equipment towards Kharkiv over the day. Also russian troops dropped 29 KABs and 11 unguided artillery missiles in the north of the oblast.
Last week, at least 13 people were injured as a result of russian shelling of Kharkiv, and another 29 people were injured due to russian strikes in Chuhuiv, Kupiansk, Izium and Kharkiv regions. Between 24 and 30 June, one woman was injured and a husband and wife killed by landmine explosions in Izium and Lyptsi community.
According to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, the air raid alert was raised 169 times in June, sounding for over 468 hours. The city was shelled 22 times, but the threat of shelling was twice as high.
Donetsk oblast
The regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that five people, three women and two men, were injured in a second strike on Ukrainsk at 1:20pm. The town was probably shelled with Uragan MRLs.
On 1 July, russian troops shelled Komar village and Selydove town. The shelling killed one person and injured two others.
The press service of Donetsk police informed that yesterday russian troops killed two civilians and injured 12 others, including a child. The frontline zone suffered 2793 enemy attacks.
14 settlements suffered enemy attack: Kurakhove, Lyman, Siversk, Toretsk cities, Niu-York, Tsukuryne, Yampil settlements, Vovchenka, Illinivka, Izhevka, Myroliubivka, Nelipivka, Nova Poltavka and Yurkivka villages.
49 civilian objects were damaged, including 35 residential and administrative buildings, enterprises, garages, cars and wheat fields.
The invaders dropped 8 KAB-250 air bombs on Toretsk. One person was killed and three more injured. 2 apartment buildings, 6 private houses and administrative buildings were damaged.
Siversk was hit by artillery. One person was killed and one injured, and private building damaged.
Also russia targeted Tsukuryne with KAB-500 guided bomb, injuring 6 civilians including a child born in 2009. 21 private houses and 2 cars were damaged.
As a result of the enemy shelling, one civilian in Yampil and another one in Niu-York were injured.

Over three days, 711 residents, including 20 children, have been evacuated from Toretsk community. Evacuation measures are ongoing in Toretsk city and Pivnichne, Shcherbynivka, Niu-York and Nelipivka villages. The police, together with the State Emergency Service, Donetsk Regional Military Administration and Toretsk Civil Administration, are rescuing people from the fire-affected settlements. More than 20 joint teams are working, including the White Angels crew, paramedics and special forces. Also russians are interfering in the evacuation and targeting civilians. In three days, there were 43 attacks in Toretsk community, 16 of which were airstrikes. Unfortunately, 6 civilians were killed and 17 injured, including a child. Paramedics provided first aid to the victims and took them to hospital. Despite the enemy fire, the residents were evacuated to safer places. They are being provided with all the necessary assistance and will be provided with housing.

Luhansk oblast
According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Bilohorivka and Serebrianka forest remain the hottest spots in Luhansk oblast. Despite the enemy’s pressure, the defenders pushed back the enemy’s positions in the forestry. Only 45 locals remain in the government-controlled area.
Yesterday the enemy shelled the de-occupied settlements 146 times using all types of weapons. Nevske, where people remain, was shelled 9 times by multiple rocket launchers. Stelmakhivka suffered 8 mortar attacks. 42 times russians shelled Nevske, Kuzemivka, Stelmakhivka and Makiivka by artillery. They attempted to attack using UAVs 87 times.
In total, the Defence Forces withstood 109 combat engagements along the entire frontline yesterday. Specifically, 11 enemy attacks were repelled near Nevske. There were 7 assault attempts near Stelmakhivka.
Mobilisation to the occupation army does not stop. During the school year, teenagers are trained in “youth army” units, in the summer they are sent for “special training”, and in a few years they are sent to the front.
In the occupied territories, russians are expanding programmes to educate militants from school: 138 children from the so-called luhansk people’s republic are “resting” in a defence and sports camp in volgograd. According to the propaganda media, the children are being trained in tactical and firearms training, the basics of radiation, chemical and biological protection, and UAV control. The most gifted are being trained to become “political workers”.
Also russians are shelling logistical routes, making it difficult to communicate with the de-occupied settlements. The enemy continue to resettle in the occupied territory in homes abandoned by citizens who have moved to government-controlled territory. And russians are raising electricity tariffs in Luhansk oblast.
Putin tells young people that the restoration of the luhansk people’s republic is proceeding at a rapid pace. Among the most significant achievements are the repair of roofs and water pipes in Kirovsk, for the first time in a decade, and the installation of ATMs in the so-called multifunctional centres for the provision of state and municipal services.
Among the settlements occupied in 2022, the list includes: Shchastia, Milove, Kreminna, Bilovodsk, Rubizhne, Lysychansk, Novoaidar and Stanytsia Luhanska. It is unclear how ATMs will work in the de-energised towns. Sievierodonetsk was not included in the list at all.
In the heat of the day, Luhansk residents stand outside for hours in line at the service points of the mobile operator ISS to check their passport details.
The occupiers are stepping up measures to make it more difficult for citizens to leave the “republics”. As of today, the state fee for obtaining a new passport has been increased. For adults, it is now rub 6,000 instead of rub 5,000, and for children, rub 3,000 instead of rub 2,500.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
On 30 June, at around 7:30pm, the enemy attacked Kyiv with Iskander-K cruise missiles. Illia Yevlash, Spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, informed that two missiles were shot down. The falling debris damaged the infrastructure.
Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the Regional Military Administration, reported that there were no hits to critical infrastructure in oblast. At the same time, three private houses, a warehouse, several administrative buildings and 16 vehicles were damaged by the fall of debris in one of the oblast regions. Three people were injured in the russian attack, including a child. The injured are currently in one of the regional hospitals.
Kyiv oblast’s State Emergency Service announced that the building of the fire and rescue unit was damaged as a result of the russian missile strike. The blast wave smashed out glass and partially damaged windows, and damaged the ceiling. The rescuers were in a shelter at the time of the attack, and no one was injured.
According to Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klychko, in Kyiv, fragments of one of the downed rockets damaged a house in Obolonskyi district. As a result, six people were injured – four women, an 11-year-old girl and a man. Ten residents were evacuated from the building.

In Kyiv oblast, 140 apartment buildings are being restored under the “Restore Home” grant programme, implemented with funds from the European Union and Ukraine. According to the Regional State Administration, the programme has now fully completed work on 63 sites. The overhaul of 49 high-rise buildings is at the final stage, or active restoration work is underway. For another 28 buildings, homeowners are preparing documents for participation in the programme.
The RMA informed that a tactical medicine training course was held in the Kyiv oblast. Specialists in youth work, employees of educational and sports institutions, Jura educators, territorial community representatives and activists of the Kyiv oblast received knowledge and improved skills in tactical medicine and first aid during the three-day event.
On 30 June, a rally in support of prisoners of war was held on Zhytomyrska Street in Kyiv. Such demonstrations have already become a tradition. Every weekend, relatives and friends gather at various locations to demand the speedy release of defenders who have been in captivity for more than 2 years.
The All-Ukrainian Forum “Culture in Time of War. Human Capital” was held in the capital. The forum focused on the current issues of staffing in the cultural sector that have arisen as a result of the hostilities and the search for possible ways to preserve the country’s artistic and creative sector. They also discussed the possibilities of recovery, new forms of organising the provision of cultural services in the face of significant infrastructure losses and destruction, and the adaptation of culture to war conditions.
Zhytomyr oblast
The Department of Regional Development of Zhytomyr Regional State Administration announced that since 2022, almost UAH 120m has been allocated from the local budget for the construction of fortifications and military engineering structures in Zhytomyr oblast. Another UAH 2bn was received from the state budget reserve fund.
Oleksii Sheketa, Chairman of the Board of Zhytomyroblenerho JSC, informed that power outages due to russian shelling and electricity shortages may affect critical infrastructure facilities in Zhytomyr oblast. One of the reasons for such possible power outages is the need to repair generating facilities and prepare for the winter period.
In Zhytomyr, 5 centres will be set up to teach the subject of Defence of Ukraine. According to the Education Department of Zhytomyr City Council, these centres will be set up on the basis of four lyceums and the Centre for Light Industry and Consumer Services.
Sumy oblast
According to the RMA report, at night and in the morning of 1 June, russians attacked the border areas and settlements in Sumy oblast eight times. A total of 21 attacks were recorded – from artillery, a tank, and FPV drones. The Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Esman, Shalyhyne communities were under enemy attack.
Over the past day, the russian military attacked Sumy oblast 15 times, with a total of 59 explosions recorded. Six border communities were shelled: Yunakivka (11 artillery strikes), Krasnopillia (3 artillery strikes), Velyka Pysarivka (16 artillery strikes), Esman (6 FPV drone strikes and 12 mortar strikes), Shalyhyne (8 mines dropped), Seredyna-Buda (3 artillery strikes).
The North Military Command reported that on 30 June, a private house in Bachivsk village, Shostka region, was damaged by russian shelling.
Volodymyr Artiukh, Head of the RMA, informed that this year, more than UAH 460m has been allocated for the construction and repair of shelters in Sumy oblast. These are funds from the state, regional and local budgets. Since the beginning of the year, 56 additional protective structures have been built in oblast. To further protect people, modular shelters were installed in the city of Sumy and Sumy communities.
Chernihiv oblast
Over the past day, russian troops attacked the direction of Leonivka, Liskivshchyna and Kostobobriv in the Semenivka community. According to the State Border Guard Service, a total of 17 mortar explosions and explosive munitions were recorded from UAVs.
Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the RMA, reported that over the past week, the russian military attacked 17 settlements in Chernihiv oblast 57 times. A total of 253 explosions were recorded during this period. The enemy shelling damaged residential buildings, outbuildings and other civilian infrastructure.
The regional military administration informed that over the last week, mobile medical teams operating in Chernihiv oblast examined more than 900 residents. Such visits are vital, so their geography will continue to expand. The schedule can be found in each community.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
At night, russian troops attacked Dnipro with ballistic missiles. Seven people were injured in the city, including a 15-year-old boy. One woman was hospitalized, the rest will be treated on an outpatient basis. In a residential area a shop was damaged. Roofs and windows in private houses and high-rise buildings were smashed. The enemy attacked Nikopol region from evening till night. They shelled the region’s center, Myrove and Marhanets communities with kamikaze drones and artillery. The shelling caused a wheat field to catch fire, destroying 2.5 hectares. Five private houses, an outbuilding, power lines and a gas pipeline were damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties. In the morning, the occupiers resumed attacks in the area. They attacked Nikopol and Pokrovsk community with kamikaze drones and artillery.
Air defence was successfully deployed in the Synelnykove region, shooting down an enemy missile.
During the day, the enemy attacked Nikopol region about fifteen times. They fired at the region’s centre, Pokrovsk, Myrove and Marhanets communities. They launched drones and fired from artillery. The enemy attacks caused several fires, damaged 4 private houses and an outbuilding. There were no casualties.
Vinnytsia oblast
The ninth charity event of the field kitchen in memory of Taras Sych was held in Vinnytsia. Traditionally, guests had to buy a “special plate” for 200 hryvnias to taste any dish at the event. The organizers will use the funds raised to support the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and rehabilitate the military.
Kirovohrad oblast
Andrii Raikovych, Head of the RMA, reported that explosions were heard in Kropyvnytskyi during the alarm. Relevant services are working.
It became known about three soldiers from Kirovohrad oblast who were released from russian captivity. These are Oleksandr Syrotiuk from Kompaniivka community, Volodymyr Surmai from Ketrysanivka community and Hryhorii Syrovatka from Blahovishchenka community. The defenders were returned home during a prisoner exchange on 25 June. The soldiers are currently undergoing rehabilitation.
Viktor Chikardin, Volodymyr Chumachenko and Serhii Lukich from Kropyvnytskyi community were killed in the russian war of aggression against Ukraine.. Soldier Viktor Chikardin was 51 years old. He died on 26 June, 2024 near Krasnohorivka, Pokrovsk region, Donetsk oblast. The names of the soldiers who were considered missing have also been identified. 41-year-old soldier Volodymyr Chumachenko died on 4 April, 2023 near Bilohorivka, Siverskodonetsk region, Luhansk oblast. 38-year-old soldier Serhii Lukich died on 7 September, 2023 near Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut region, Donetsk oblast.
Poltava oblast
Filip Pronin, Head of the RMA, reported that the sounds of explosions were heard in Myrhorod community.
Cherkasy oblast.
Ihor Taburets, Head of the RMA, reported that another 36 drones of various modifications were transferred from Cherkasy oblast to the defenders. They will go to a number of units that are currently performing extremely difficult tasks. This tranche of aid was purchased at the expense of the regional program of terrorist defense. It is one of the priorities for funding.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
It is reported that yesterday russian army attacked 11 settlement in Zaporizhzhia oblast 345 times. The enemy carried out an airstrike on Mala Tokmachka. 149 UAVs of various modifications attacked Huliaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Novodanylivka and Novoandriivka. There were nine MLRS attacks at Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Novodanylivka, and Levadne and 186 artillery shellings at Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Robotyne, Levadne, Malynivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Liubymivka and Odarivka. Sixteen reports of housing destruction were received.
According to the General Staff, the areas of Robotyne and Lobkove were under the attacks of unguided aerial bombs. The occupiers are attempting to advance from Novopokrovka to Novodanylivka but are meeting strong resistance. The South Operational Command reported that the occupiers conducted four assaults but they were unsuccessful.
Mykolaiv oblast
Today the enemy shelled the city of Ochakiv with MLRS. The attack resulted in fires in four residential buildings, seven outbuildings, dry grass, and bushes in private households and a recreational area covering a total area of 3.5 hectares. A low-pressure gas pipeline was also damaged.

Yesterday, 30 June, air defense forces destroyed an Orlan-10 reconnaissance UAV in Mykolaiv oblast.
Yesterday, the enemy attacked Kutsurub community with FPV kamikaze drones. There were no casualties.
Another mobile pharmacy has started operating in Mykolaiv oblast. Currently, two such pharmacies serve 24 settlements in the de-occupied territories of the oblast.
Odesa oblast
As of 1 July, 2024, there are two enemy ships in the Black Sea, one of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles, but with no missiles. There are two enemy ships in the Sea of Azov, none of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles. There are two enemy ships carrying Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo capacity of up to 24 missiles in the Mediterranean Sea.
Three international delegations from Switzerland, Austria and the United Nations arrived in Odesa oblast for a working visit. During the visit, the Swiss Ambassador to Ukraine, Felix Baumann, the Austrian Ambassador to Ukraine, Arad Benkö, and the UNHCR Representative in Ukraine, Karolina Lindholm Billing, discussed a range of issues with local authorities regarding assistance to internally displaced persons and the energy situation in the oblast.
Kherson oblast
Today, the enemy shelled Korabelnyi district in the city of Kherson. As a result of the attack, two people were injured. A 75-year-old woman suffered a concussion, explosive and craniocerebral injuries. A 45-year-old woman sustained an explosive injury, as well as back and thigh wounds.
Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that russian forces attacked a house in Antonivka with artillery. As a result of the enemy strike, a 97-year-old resident was injured, suffering an explosive injury and shrapnel wounds to her forearm.
This morning, the russian army attacked Mykhailivka in Beryslav region, damaging a paramedic-obstetric station and a private house.
Two more residents of Kherson oblast sought medical help after being injured in russian shelling the previous day. A 77-year-old woman was hit by an enemy strike in the village of Nadniprianske, suffering minor injuries including an explosive injury, chest contusion, and shrapnel wounds to her arms and legs. A 40-year-old woman was concussed, had a brain concussion, explosive, and craniocerebral injuries due to an attack by a Russian FPV drone in Novovorontsovka.
Yesterday, enemy fire and airstrikes targeted Stanislav, Novokairy, Sadove, Sofiivka, Antonivka, Kizomys, Honcharne, Oleksandrivka, Bilozerka, Zmiivka, Beryslav, Pryozerne, Inhulets, Poniativka, Tiahynka, Inzhenerne, Mykhailivka, Shyroka Balka, Havrylivka, Burhunka, Komyshany, Khreshchenivka, Lvove and the city of Kherson. The shelling damaged 47 objects, including 36 private houses, a school, a shop, a mobile communication tower, three cars, gas pipelines, two garages, and an outbuilding. One person was killed and another injured due to russian aggression.
Later, Kherson RMA reported three more casualties from enemy strikes the previous day. The enemy shelled orchards near the village of Veletenske causing explosive injuries and brain concussions to two men. A man was injured in his yard by an enemy attack in the village of Rozlyv, suffering an explosive injury and brain concussion.
Yesterday, confirmed enemy losses amounted to 104 personnel and 31 units of weapons and military equipment. A field supply depot and a stronghold were destroyed.
During the past week, demining teams discovered and neutralized almost 1,800 explosive devices in Kherson oblast. According to Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson RMA, sappers surveyed over 3,400 hectares of land.
Nine children from temporarily occupied communities in Kherson oblast have been returned to Ukraine-controlled territory. These include four families with four boys and five girls, ranging from eight months to 17 years old.
Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine
Volyn oblast
For the fourth time, an evacuation train with 34 people, among them are 23 children, including orphans and children deprived of parental care, from Vovchansk, Bohoduhiv and Kupiansk communities (Kharkiv oblast) arrived in Volyn oblast. Children and adults were placed in a sanatorium in Kovel region, where previously evacuated residents of Kharkiv oblast already live. On the spot, they receive all the necessary social, financial and psychological support. In addition, with the assistance of the UNICEF Ukraine fund, various excursions, entertainment and cultural events take place.
The RMA held a meeting with representatives of the Western Ukrainian office of the European Business Association. The purpose of the delegation’s visit is to get to know each other, to establish effective and fruitful cooperation, as well as to discuss current issues facing business in Volyn oblast.
Lutsk City Council sent 2 DJI Mavic 3T Enterprise (Thermal), 3 DJI Mavic 3 Fly More Combo quadcopters and an EcoFlow Delta 2 charging station to the 3018th Military Unit of the National Guard of Ukraine.
Zakarpattia oblast
Uzhhorod City Council reported that the community sent a quad bike, 10 drones, 6 EWs, lithium batteries, chargers, hygiene products to the 2nd Rifle and 15th Mountain Assault Battalions of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault of Zakarpattia Brigade.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Ivano-Frankivsk City Council reported that the community sent a EW complex for the 7th Rifle Battalion.
Lviv oblast
Lviv oblast sent 3 Valk-1 Galka and 3 Sirko 2M unmanned aviation complexes worth UAH 4.5m to units of Lviv Border Guard thanks to the regional program Safe Lviv Oblast.
The Medical-psychological help volunteer community, whose volunteers have been at Lviv railway station since the 1st days of the war, reported that 209 evacuees arrived in Lviv oblast from 21 to 28 June, including 35 people with disabilities. Main destinations: Pokrovsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
A charity concert and fair was held in the village of Vykhopni, Zhovtanetsk community. Thanks to the joint efforts of residents and guests of the community, it was possible to raise over UAH 80,000 to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Rivne oblast
During the 858 days of the war, there were 668 air raids in Rivne oblast. Summing up June this year: there were 30 alarms (27 in May); the longest – on 1 June (lasted 3 hours 23 minutes); the shortest – on 5 June (lasted 15 minutes); the alarm was announced 4 times during the day on 14 June; the maximum number of days without alarms is 4 (7–12 June).
The RMA held a meeting with a delegation of Lithuanian manufacturing partners. The introduction of technical means for remote control of explosive devices was discussed.
The RMA held a meeting with Gaga Nikabadze, representative of International Orthodox Christian Charities in Ukraine, and Daan Verbaan, Regional Director of Kerk in Actie in Ukraine. New grant projects were discussed.
Let’s_Do_Fest was held in Rivne. The event is part of the all-Ukrainian communication campaign Let’s Act Together. Together We Are Europe. Residents of Rivne oblast learned about the EU’s support for civil society. Currently, 80 agreements on cooperation with the regions of the European Union have been concluded in Rivne oblast. Almost half of the agreements were during the period of martial law.
Ternopil oblast
In Ternopil, on the facade of the building a memorial plaque was installed in memory of Andrii Dmytrovych. He volunteered to defend the Motherland in 2022.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi community sent 10 Mavic 3T quadcopters with a thermal imager worth about UAH 1.7m to the military thanks to the budget funds.
Representatives of construction companies received the Together to Victory Badge of Honor and gifts from Slaviansk City Military Administration and thanks from Khmelnytskyi RMA for their significant contribution to strengthening the state’s defense capabilities, the construction of military and engineering facilities and the protection of the territory and population of Kramatorsk region against russian aggression.
Chernivtsi oblast
As part of the Art for Victory project, Chernivtsi Regional Philharmonic named after Hnatiuk continues a series of concerts to support the people of Bukovyna. Specifically well-known melodies were performed by the Bukovyna Brass Band at the facility where military personnel undergo treatment.
Andrii Sidletskyi from Chernivtsi received a Grant For Veterans And Their Family Members, thanks to which he opened a gym. The man served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine for a year and a half as a company commander and department officer and participated in the defence of Ukraine against the armed aggression of the russian federation.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The joint mission of Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey to demine the Black Sea has begun. Ships, helicopters and drones of the naval forces of all three countries will take part in the operation. They hope to involve other NATO allies in the cooperation.
Herman Smetanin, General Director of Ukroboronprom, announced that iIn Ukraine, the 1st German combat vehicles are already being restored as part of the agreement with the Rheinmetall concern. He also noted that there are plans for further development and deepening of cooperation with Rheinmetall. In the short term, Ukraine plans to switch to the repair of artillery systems and the joint production of the latest German Lynx BMPs.
Oleh Sentsov, Ukrainian Director and former prisoner of the kremlin, who is currently defending Ukraine at the front, presented his film about the war Real in Karlovy Vary. In addition, after the premiere, the Ukrainian met with Petr Pavel, President of the Czech Republic.
United Heroes adapts the book about the war in Ukraine by Sean Pinner, British volunteer released from captivity. This book is the autobiographical memoirs of the British soldier about his experience of participating in the war in Ukraine. It is being screened as a feature film with the working title The English Warrior. According to the author, the title of the book has a symbolic meaning for him, as these were the words of his wife in the last phone call before captivity: Live. Fight. Survive.
