Throughout the day, the enemy has been trying to find ways to break through our defences and attempt to drive Ukrainian units from their positions. The number of combat engagements along the entire frontline increased to 121.
Towards Kharkiv, the invaders continue to push Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Vovchansk, Tykhe and Hlyboke. To date, the Defence Forces have repelled five enemy assaults and another combat is ongoing.
Towards Kupiansk, Ukrainian defenders repelled 10 enemy attacks near Stepova Novoselivka, Stelmakhivka, Synkivka and Andriivka since the beginning of the day. At present, one combat is still ongoing.
The aggressor’s preliminary losses in this sector amounted to 89 invaders killed and injured. One tank, an armoured combat vehicle and a car were destroyed.
Towards Siversk, 12 enemy attempts to advance into the depths of our territory near Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, Rozdolivka and Vyimka failed. Another battle continues. Ukrainian soldiers are in control of the situation.
According to preliminary data, the losses of the invaders in this sector amount to 58 people. Two armoured combat vehicles, a car and three enemy ammunition depots were destroyed.
Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy attempted 9 times to break into our defences near Chasiv Yar and Ivanivske. Ukrainian troops repelled eight assaults and one attack is ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, the invaders are not slowing down their offensive. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has attacked Ukrainian defensive lines 39 times near Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Yevhenivka, Sokol, Novoselivka Persha and Yasnobrodivka. 32 enemy attacks were unsuccessful and seven more combat engagements are ongoing.
Towards Kurakhove, fighting continues. Since the beginning of the day, the enemy has been attacking near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka. The total number of attacks here has increased to six, of which two were repelled and four are still ongoing.
Towards Prydniprovskyi, the russian assault on the positions of our defenders near Krynky ended unsuccessfully. The situation is under control.
In other areas, the situation has not changed significantly.
Deputy Prosecutor General Viktoriia Litvinova reported that more than 300 cases of sexual violence against women, men and minors by russians have been recorded in Ukraine. So far, Ukrainian law enforcers have identified 49 russian servicemen and notified them of suspicion of committing sexual violence. At the same time, 29 indictments have been sent to court and judges have already handed down 5 verdicts.
Dmytro Lazutkin, Spokesman of the Ministry of Defence, informed that among the men who have updated their data, 1.1m are eligible for conscription during mobilisation. In total, about 2.3m Ukrainians have updated their data.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
The General Staff reported this in a summary at 1pm that six russian guided aerial bombs struck Lyptsi, two UAVs struck Vovchanski Khutory and one hit was recorded in Kharkiv and Ternova. Towards Kupiansk, russian troops with the support of aviation tried six times to force the Defence Forces out of their positions in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka and Pishchane. Also russia attacked Stelmakhivka 12 times by unguided aircraft. As of 1pm, two combat engagements continued.
Viktor Kovalenko, Head of Zolochiv Village Military Administration, said that a russian UAV struck Odnorobivka in Zolochiv region at 12:00pm. According to him, the strike damaged the building of an educational institution and there is no electricity in the village.

Oleh Syniehubov, Head of Kharkiv Regional Military ADministration, reported that after 10am, the enemy launched at least three airstrikes on civilian infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv. There were no casualties.
Mayor Ihor Terekhov informed that the russian airstrike hit a residential area in one of the largest districts of Kharkiv. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties but apartment buildings were damaged.
Prosecutor Mykhailo Martysh said that a russian aerial bomb in Kyivskyi district hit the territory of one of the stadiums. In addition to broken windows in nearby houses, there are no windows in the kindergarten and the facade of the sports complex was damaged. Debris from the bomb was found at the site of the strike.
At 3:40am, russians attacked Vilshana village, Kharkiv region. The enemy shelling damaged two residential buildings and two outbuildings.
At 4am, russians attacked Liubotyn, Kharkiv region. Four residential buildings were damaged as a result of hostile shelling.
Yesterday at 10:40pm, the enemy attacked Kharkiv and the region by multiple rocket launchers. There was no damage or casualties.
At 5:35pm, the russians attacked Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi village, in Kupiansk region. As a result of the shelling, the warehouse of Kupiansk plant and a private house were damaged.
At 3:58pm, russians attacked Staryi Saltiv, Chuhuiv region. As a result of the shelling, the building of a repair station, a warehouse, a car, three combines, four trucks, two apartment buildings and two private houses were damaged.
At 2:35pm, the russians attacked Novoplatonivka village of Borova community, Izium region. A school, which had already been damaged earlier, was partially destroyed by a KAB hit.
At 2pm, russians attacked Odnorobivka village of Zolochiv community, Bohodukhiv region. The shelling from multiple rocket launchers damaged a one-storey apartment building, an outbuilding and power lines. 4 settlements were left without electricity. A total of 718 subscribers are disconnected. Power engineers are working to restore power supply.
Towards Kharkiv, 6 enemy attempts to attack the positions of the Defence Forces near Vovchansk and Lyptsi failed during the day.
Towards Kupiansk, our defenders repelled 7 enemy attacks near Synkivka, Stelmakhivka and Pishchane. At the moment, three combat engagements are still ongoing near Stepova Novoselivka. The situation is under control of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
Yesterday combined teams of bomb experts cleared 14.77 hectares of mines and destroyed 210 explosive devices.
In total, russians launched 42 guided aerial bombs at Kharkiv oblast over the day.
As a result of the shelling on 22-23 June: 19 people were hospitalised, including two children aged 12 and 13. Three people are in critical condition. The rest of the victims are receiving routine medical care and are in hospitals with moderate injuries.
As a result of enemy attacks in Kharkiv, 40 private houses were almost completely damaged. The blast wave broke more than 1,000 windows in apartment buildings. The liquidation of the aftermath of the shelling continues.
Donetsk oblast
The press service of Donetsk police reported that at 5:30am, russia launched a missile attack on Kurakhove, injuring two civilians and damaging four apartment buildings.
Yesterday russian troops killed 7 civilians and injured 49 others, including five children. Police recorded 2166 enemy strikes on the territory of the oblast.
The russian army shelled 10 settlements: Druzhkivka, Zalizne, Kurakhove, Pokrovsk, Toretsk, Velyka Novosilka, Niu-York, Dalne, Mykolaivka and Mykhailivka.
88 civilian objects were destroyed, including 57 residential buildings, administrative buildings, a shop, businesses, cars, and vital infrastructure.

The russians launched two Iskander-M missiles at Pokrovsk, killing 5 civilians. Another 38 civilians were injured, including four children – a 12-year-old boy and three girls aged 9, 11 and 13. 19 private houses, critical infrastructure and vehicles were damaged.
The enemy dropped two KAB-250 bombs on Kurakhove, killing one person and injuring one.
The invaders attacked Toretsk using three KAB-250 bombs and artillery, killing and injuring a civilian. Two administrative buildings, 4 apartment buildings and 5 private houses were damaged.

In Druzhkivka, russian terrorists launched two Iskander-M missiles, injuring three residents, including a 16-year-old child. Six private houses, a business, a shop, civilian cars and a life support facility were damaged.
In Velyka Novosilka, a woman was injured, two apartment buildings and two private houses damaged by two KAB-250 bombs.
Two residents were injured in Zalizne and another in Mykolaivka as a result of a drone strike.
The invaders hit Mykhailivka using two UMPB D-30SN bombs, damaging 15 private houses.

The White Angels crew evacuated the mother and children. Now 16-year-old Denys, 7-year-old Matvii and 5-year-old Alina are in a safer place. Due to the constant danger, the children could only go for a half-hour walk under adult supervision. Recently, one of the enemy’s KABs exploded near their home.

Luhansk oblast
According to Luhansk Regional Military Administration, the invaders shelled Nevske, Stelmakhivka, Kuzemivka and Makiivka by artillery and mortar yesterday. In addition, the russians attacked the de-occupied Nevske by multiple rocket launchers and aircraft. The invaders attacked about 50 times yesterday towards Lyman, Kupiansk and Siversk. Ukrainian defence forces repelled these attempts.
For instance, the enemy stormed our positions near Stelmakhivka, Hrekivka, Makiivka, Nevske, in Bilohorivka and in Serebrianka forest.
Towards Lyman, the enemy lost 92 men in action and five pieces of weapons and military equipment over the day.
Towards Siversk, the enemy losses amounted to 84 people. In addition, an infantry fighting vehicle and a car were destroyed. Two dugouts with personnel were hit.
The invaders are threatening to “nationalise” the homes of Luhansk residents who do not return to the occupied territory and do not re-register their property under Russian law within 30 days. However, they have created such conditions that even those who are currently living in the cities and villages of the so-called “lpr” cannot manage to cope with the deadline. For instance, in Sievierodonetsk, specialists of the Rosregister department can register only five or six properties in one day. The queue is moving extremely slowly. The previous entry is closed.
Calling an ambulance remains a problem not only in the territories occupied two years ago, where there is no internet or mobile coverage. Numerous complaints about the work of emergency doctors come even from Luhansk. People there have to wait eight hours for an ambulance. Medical school graduates or interns arrive and in most cases are unable to provide qualified care.
Roman Vlasenko, Head of Sievierodonetsk Regional State Administration, reported that from 1 July, the so-called “lpr” promises to increase tariffs for electricity and other utilities. The russians have been delaying salaries for several months for the workers involved in the demonstration reconstruction of the buildings.

Kyiv oblast
President of the German Federal Council Manuela Schwezig met with president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. They discussed the situation on the battlefield and the priority needs of Ukraine.
A school in a de-occupied village in Kyiv oblast destroyed because of the russian invasion will be the first to be reorganised as part of a pilot project. The reconstruction of the village school was officially approved at the URC2024 International Conference on the Reconstruction of Ukraine. The renovation and modernisation is to be funded by Belgium. The design was developed by experts from Do Architects in collaboration with the Lithuanian architectural NGO, Rebuild the Wonderful.
An artillery shell was discovered in Kyiv during construction work in the Pechersk district. The Mobile Rescue Centre of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported that the ammunition was taken to a special site for controlled destruction. Ammunition remnants were also found in two settlements in Kyiv oblast.
The Ukrainian Women’s Guard held a tactical medicine training for women in Kyiv on 23 June. The training brought together many people who wanted to acquire or update their knowledge and skills in first aid during the full-scale war.

Kyiv officials are announcing the construction of two combined heat and power plants on different sides of Kyiv, which will run on combined fuel and use high-calorie waste fractions. Kyiv City Military Administration noted that in the context of energy shortages due to russia’s systemic attacks on infrastructure, it is important to use all ways and opportunities to produce energy.
Kyiv City Military Administration said that since 2014, 60 streets, alleys, squares and public gardens have been named and renamed in honour of the defenders. To honour the memory of the fallen soldiers, public spaces are planned to be arranged in all districts of Kyiv. Interactive information boards with the names of the deceased residents of the district will be installed in each of these spaces.
In Kyiv, experts discussed the Strategy of Cognitive De-occupation of Crimea. According to Tamila Tasheva, the President’s representative in the ARC, the document included all reintegration processes related to human resources, government organisation, and accountability for crimes committed by russia.
The RMA informed that a competitive selection process has begun for the positions of inspectors of the Educational Security Service, who will work in 94 schools in Kyiv region. Previously, police officers who had undergone special training and selection worked in 9 educational institutions.
Zhytomyr oblast
The regional military administration reported that the restoration of medical facilities in Zhytomyr oblast and ways to attract investment to develop the oblast’s medical infrastructure were discussed at the international conference ReBuild Ukraine in Warsaw, Poland. The event brought together representatives of different countries and organisations to present their products and discuss important issues of Ukraine’s recovery, as well as opportunities to help the military and civilians.
Five Primary Health Care Centres in Zhytomyr oblast will receive vehicles to provide medical and social assistance to families with children. In total, with the support of UNICEF Ukraine, 40 vehicles have been transferred to Ukrainian medical institutions in 9 oblasts to improve the children’s caretaking under the Care from Birth at Home programme.
From 15 to 24 June, a Plast camp was held in the forest on the territory of Baranivka community, organised by Zhytomyr Plast village for children and teenagers. Its participants lived in tents, set up their own homes, cooked food and studied the history of the insurgency in Ukraine.
Sumy oblast
Sumy RMA reported that at night and in the morning, the russians attacked the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast 7 times. A total of 40 explosions were recorded – from mortars, artillery, AGS and tank fire. Mykolaivka, Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Znob-Novhorodske communities were under hostile attack.
On 24 June, the russian military attacked Sumy oblast 33 times. A total of 108 explosions were recorded. The enemy used mortars and artillery, FPV drones, dropped explosives from UAVs and fired from a tank.
11 border communities were under fire: Khotin, Yunakivka, Bilopillia, Vorozhba, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Esman, Shalyhyne, Seredyna-Buda, Znob-Novhorodske.
Andrii Demchenko, Spokesman of the State Border Guard Service, informed that the activity of russian subversive and reconnaissance groups has decreased towards Sumy. According to him, the peak activity of subversive reconnaissance groups in this area took place last year and in early 2024. In this axis, the enemy currently does not have enough forces to intrude into Ukraine to achieve its strategic goal.
The reconstruction of the hospital in Trostianets damaged by russian tank and small arms fire in March 2022, is ongoing. More than 30,000 residents of the community receive medical services at Trostianets City Hospital. At the moment, the replacement of the damaged thermal insulation of the inpatient building facade is almost 80% complete. The work is proceeding according to the schedule.
This year, 150 households in Shostka community in Sumy oblast received a thousand euros each to start and develop their own businesses. The participants could use the money to buy cattle, machinery or agricultural equipment.
Chernihiv oblast
Yesterday russian troops attacked three settlements in Chernihiv oblast. According to the State Border Guard Service, a total of 23 explosions were recorded.The enemy fired on the territory of Novhorod-Siverskyi community with cannon artillery – 18 explosions were heard, Semenivka community was attacked with mortars, FPV drones and an explosive device was dropped from a UAV.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
In the evening and in the morning, the enemy attacked Nikopol region with kamikaze drones. The region’s centre and Marhanets community were hit. A private house, an infrastructure facility and a car were damaged. According to updated information, another person was injured in the shelling on 24 June, a 71-year-old woman was hospitalised in moderate condition. A private house was also damaged.
During the day, the occupiers attacked Nikopol region about a dozen times. They shelled the region’s centre, Myrove, Marhanets and Pokrovsk communities with artillery and kamikaze drones. Four private houses were damaged, an outbuilding was destroyed, two more were damaged, and an infrastructure facility, a car, a garage, power lines, and gas pipelines were hit.
In Apostolove, where all educational institutions have been destroyed, there will be a new mobile school for 8 grades. In this regard, a meeting was held with Mehri Drukman, director of the Dream and Act program, a representative of the international non-profit organisation IREX, which works in Ukraine on many programs to support youth and develop education. They discussed the acceleration of the construction of a mobile school for 8 grades with a shelter in Apostolove, where all educational institutions were destroyed as a result of russian aggression.
Vinnytsia oblast
Mayor Serhii Morhunov reported that two buggies made in Vinnytsia were delivered to the military from the Vinnytsia region. The vehicles were delivered to the defenders of Ukraine who are deployed in the Eastern and Southern directions.
A memorial plaque was unveiled in Vinnytsia oblast in memory of the fallen defender Dmytro Bondar. The plaque was unveiled on the territory of Bar Lyceum №2. The soldier was killed on 8 July, 2023. According to the Decree of the President of Ukraine, the soldier was awarded the Order For Courage of the III degree (posthumously) for personal courage in the defence of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, selfless performance of military duty.
Kirovohrad oblast
Kropyvnytskyi Museum of Art exhibited more than fifty graphic and pictorial works by Olha Melster from Kropyvnytskyi. Together with her husband Taras, she went to defend Ukraine on the second day of russia’s full-scale invasion. Before going to serve, Olha was a confectioner, and Taras worked as a programmer. The couple were killed on the same day, 21 June, 2022.
On the Alley of Fame of the Far Eastern Cemetery in Kropyvnytskyi, residents were saying farewell to soldiers Oleksandr Sazonov, Vladyslav Nastenko and Volodymyr Tkachenko, who died in the war with russia. Oleksandr Sazonov served as a sapper driver and died on 17 June at the age of 53 due to heart condition.
Vladyslav Nastenko was killed on 19 June near the town of Lozova in Kharkiv oblast at the age of 43. Volodymyr Tkachenko served as a sniper. He was killed on 5 September, 2022 near the village of Sukhyi Stavok, Kherson oblast. He was 31 years old.
Poltava oblast
Residents of Poltava were saying goodbye to a soldier, who was killed in russian captivity, in Pyriatyn. Serhii Hryhoriev had been serving under contract since 2020. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he was in Mariupol. In April 2022, he was captured by the russian military and killed on 20 May of the following year.
Cherkasy oblast
Residents of Cherkasy bid farewell to three fallen soldiers on Slavy Square – 35-year-old Oleksandr Kravets, 44-year-old Oleh Zalozetskyi and 40-year-old Ruslan Marchenko. Oleksandr Kravets was killed on 14 June, Ruslan Marchenko on 17 June, 2024, and Oleh Zalozetskyi on 21 March, 2023, and was considered missing until now, and his relatives were waiting for DNA testing.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, reported that on 24 June, the occupiers struck Zaporizhzhia oblast 457 times.
8 settlements were under enemy attack. 182 UAVs of various modifications attacked Huliaipole, Levadne, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka and Novoandriivka. There were also 20 MLRS attacks towards Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka and Novoandriivka. A total of 255 artillery strikes targeted the areas of Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Levadne, Malynivka and Stepnohirsk.
There were 9 reports of residential destruction. No civilians were injured.
An unexploded 500kg guided aerial bomb was found in Polohy region, near the active combat zone. The KAB-500 bomb contained a modified detonator, making it impossible to transport. Consequently, specialists from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine safely detonated the bomb on site.
Based on the information published on the page of the Wings of Omega special purpose drone systems unit of the National Guard of Ukraine’s Special Purpose Centre, Ukrainian soldiers continue to destroy enemy manpower and equipment. Special forces of a separate unit detected an enemy tank. Using an FPV drone, the soldiers delivered a precise strike on the enemy equipment, destroying the tank.
Support for Zaporizhzhia oblast, which is experiencing the devastating consequences of russian aggression, was discussed by Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia RMA, during a video conference with Finnish partners. The regional head noted that the Finnish people, having experienced war with russia, understand the difficult situation in Ukraine. Currently, friendly ties exist between Zaporizhzhia oblast and Finnish cities. Melitopol is twinned with Seinäjoki, and Zaporizhzhia cooperates with the Finnish city of Lahti. The region also receives active Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) support.
Mykolaiv oblast
According to Mykolaiv RMA, on 24 June, at 8:05am and 4:55pm, the enemy conducted artillery shelling on Kutsurub community. As a result of the morning shelling, a fire broke out on open territory outside the settlement, burning dry grass. Firefighters promptly extinguished the fire. At 8:43pm, the water area of Ochakiv community came under enemy artillery attack. There were no casualties during the attacks.
According to the Ministry of Health, since the start of the full-scale war, 152 medical facility objects in Mykolaiv oblast have been damaged, with an additional 13 destroyed beyond repair.
Odesa oblast
The Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed that the enemy maintains 1 ship in the Black Sea equipped with Kalibr missiles. Also, the russian fleet is present in the Mediterranean Sea. In the Sea of Azov, the enemy keeps 7 ships, 2 of which are missile carriers. However, it should be noted that the situation can change within a few hours, as this is when the occupiers prepare a missile carrier for combat duty.
According to Odesa RMA, since the beginning of the year, €815,000 in aid from international donors have been attracted to Odesa oblast. An online platform Spilnota has been developed for convenient and effective communication with international donors. It was presented to representatives of the diplomatic corps and international organisations in Odesa oblast. Spilnota is a kind of digital platform that collects the current needs of the oblast and consolidates efforts and opportunities for the quality recovery and reconstruction of Odesa oblast.
Referring to Odesa City Council, Odesa Municipality, in cooperation with the Government of Japan and UNDP, is implementing a project to construct self-generation facilities based on gas-piston engines with a total capacity of about 30MW. Currently, the ME Heat Supply of Odesa City is processing land plots with a total area of 3.3 hectares, where the construction of power plants is planned.
Kherson oblast
Kherson RMA informed that the russian forces struck a residential area in Kherson, injuring 2 men.
The occupiers dropped an explosive from a drone on a 48-year-old man while he was working in the field. The victim was hospitalised with explosive trauma and shrapnel injuries to his neck, shoulder and leg.
On 25 June, the russian occupation forces attacked Kindiyka village, injuring a person. In Mykhailivka of Beryslav region, the occupiers attacked the House of Culture with a kamikaze drone. There were no casualties reported.

Volyn oblast
Lutsk City Council sent 15 8-inch FPV type multi-rotor UAVs with a thermal imaging camera to the Military Unit A 3449.
Zakarpattia oblast
UAH 7m will be allocated from the budget of Uzhhorod community for the purpose of fulfilling the letters of the commanders of the military units, who asked the city council to provide subventions for the purchase of material and technical means to ensure and maintain the appropriate level of combat readiness.
The command of the Military Unit A 7080 handed over letters of appreciation to relatives of servicemen from Uzhhorod, thanking them for the fact that the countrymen fulfilled their duties in an exemplary manner and made maximum efforts to preserve the unity and integrity of Ukraine. Letters of commendation were received by relatives of soldiers of the 68th Separate Territorial Defense Battalion of the 101st Separate Ground Defense Brigade of the West Regional Directorate of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, namely, Leonid Kvyatkovskyi, lieutenant, deputy of the 2nd Rifle Company for Moral and Psychological Support; Vladyslav Tovtin, senior soldier of the 1st Rifle Division of the 1st Rifle Platoon, and Yevhen Ivaniuta, soldier-grenade thrower of the 3rd Rifle Division of the 1st Rifle Platoon.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Ivano-Frankivsk City Council reported that communal workers of the community once again set out to build fortifications in Donetsk oblast.
Lviv oblast
Lviv RMA allocated almost UAH 20m for the needs of defenders. All funds were allocated for the purchase of equipment in accordance with the requests made to the RMA by military formations, in particular electronic warfare equipment, UAVs and engineering equipment. In addition, UAH 2.85m were allocated to strengthen the Air Command West. Therefore, since the beginning of the year, the RMA allocated a total of over UAH 451m from the regional budget for the needs of soldiers.
Drohobych RMA and KOLO CF sent 100 FPV drones, which will be distributed among military units, in accordance with existing requests, thanks to the Protect Ukraine Dutch CF. Volunteers of the training centre for training drone operators KOLO assembled them and tested them for readiness for further use by the military.
23-year-old Dmytro Bratyna from Novorozdil community was awarded with the III degree For Courage Order (posthumously). The award was presented to Hero’s relatives. Dmytro Bratyna died in August 2023 in a hospital due to a severe injury he received during hostilities in Zaporizhzhia oblast.
Rivne oblast
Almost UAH 7bn of available loans were received by the businesses of Rivne oblast during the martial law. Enterprises operating in the fields of agriculture, trade, processing industry are most often credited. The funds are used for investment projects, anti-crisis measures and refinancing of existing loans.
Ternopil oblast
Ternopil City Council reported that 39 defenders from the community will receive financial aid for treatment and rehabilitation of UAH 10,000, which 46 servicemen had previously received.
Khmelnytskyi oblast

Chernivtsi oblast
Klishkovets community allocated UAH 50,000 for the technical support of the A4815 Military Unit. The funds will be used for the purchase of spare parts and equipment for military equipment.
The RMA reported that residents of Mamalyhivsk community allocated almost UAH 330,000 for the military.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission, announced that the procedure of negotiations on the accession of Ukraine and Moldova to the European Union has officially begun.
The European Court of Human Rights recognized that russia violated the rights and freedoms of Ukrainians in Crimea after its occupation. The Court recognized that russia practised cruel treatment of Ukrainians, illegal detentions, disappearances, forced replacement of Ukrainian passports with russian ones, mass searches, closure of Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar media, ban on protests and attacks on organisers of gatherings.
Petr Fiala, Head of the Czech government, announced that the 1st batch of artillery shells on the Czech initiative is already in Ukraine.
Spain sent the 2nd batch of missiles for Patriot to Ukraine. It arrived in Ukraine on 21 June, in addition to the 1st batch that was delivered at the end of April.
Josep Borrell, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Policy and Security Policy, stated that the EU within a month will send to Ukraine the 1st €1.4bn from revenues from frozen russian assets. The Head of European diplomacy clarified that Ukraine will keep another €1bn until the end of the year. These funds will be used for anti-aircraft defence, ammunition and support for Ukrainian industry.
Andrii Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, had a phone conversation with Jake Sullivan, the US President’s National Security Adviser. They discussed the results of the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland and the further implementation of the points of the Peace Formula, as well as the meeting of leaders within the framework of the G7 summit.
The International Criminal Court issued warrants for the arrest of herasimov, chief of the general staff of the russian federation, and shoihu, former minister of defence of the russian federation. Warrants were issued on suspicion of missile strikes by the russian military against Ukrainian energy infrastructure from at least 10 October, 2022 to at least 9 March, 2023.
