Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 4 pm:
On 14 December, there were 95 combat clashes on the frontline.
The border areas were affected by russian artillery shelling, in particular the settlements of Volfyne, Khrinivka, Budky, Ryzhivka, Bila Bereza, Shalyhyne, Malushyne, Sydorivka, and Novovasylivka.
Towards Northern Sloboda and Kursk, the enemy once tried to conduct offensive actions. The enemy also launched two airstrikes, dropping six GABs, and carried out 78 attacks, including three from multiple launch rocket systems.
Towards Southern Sloboda, the Ukrainian military repelled five enemy assaults near Synelnykove and Vovchansk.
Towards Kupiansk, the enemy attacked three times near Petropavlivka and Pishchane.
Towards Lyman, Ukrainian units repelled six attacks. One clash is still ongoing. The enemy attacked in the vicinity of the settlements of Kolodiazi, Novoselivka, Seredne and Zarichne.
Towards Slaviansk, Ukrainian soldiers repelled four enemy attacks in the vicinity of Yampol, Serebrianka and Pereyzne; another battle is ongoing.
Towards Kramatorsk, there was one combat clash near Chasiv Yar.
Towards Kostiantynivka, russian occupiers tried 17 times to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Oleksandro-Shultyne, Shcherbynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Yablunivka and towards Sofiivka. Ukrainian units repelled 15 attacks, two more combat clashes are still ongoing.
Towards Pokrovsk, the invaders launched 33 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian defenders in the vicinity of the settlements of Shakhove, Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Molodetske, Dachne and towards Novopavlivka. Holding back the enemy onslaught, the Ukrainian defenders repelled 28 attacks, and the fighting continues.
Towards Oleksandrivka, the invaders tried 13 times to advance on the positions of Ukrainian troops near the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Novoselivka, Sosnivka, Verbove, Krasnohirske, Pryvilne, Zlahoda and Rybne.
Towards Huliaipole, the enemy launched nine assault operations, and Ukrainian defenders repelled attacks in the vicinity of Solodke and Huliaipole.
Towards Orikhiv, the enemy advanced once towards Primorske. The settlements of Novoboikivske and Rozumivka were hit by airstrikes.
Towards Kherson, there was one unsuccessful enemy attempt to approach the positions of Ukrainian units in the vicinity of the Antonivskyi Bridge.
Recent war events in the east of Ukraine
Kharkiv oblast
There were 154 combat clashes in the oblast.
Towards Southern Sloboda, Ukrainian troops stopped nine enemy attacks in the vicinity of the settlements of Prylipka, Vovchansk and towards the settlements of Synelnykove and Vilcha.
Over the past 24 hours, 154 combat clashes were recorded.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, our troops stopped nine enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Prylipka, Vovchansk and towards the settlements of Synelnykovo, Vilcha.
In the Kupiansk, there were two attacks. Ukrainian defenders repelled the enemy’s assault actions towards the settlements of Pishchane and Monachynivka.
The city of Kharkiv and 4 settlements of the oblast were subjected to enemy attacks.
As a result of shelling in the village of Zarichne, Starosaltiv community, a 65-year-old woman and a 10-year-old girl were injured.
The enemy attacked Kyivskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts of Kharkiv with UAVs.
The enemy actively used various types of weapons:
▪️1 GAB;
▪️3 UAVs of the Geran-2 type;
▪️4 UAVs of the Molniya type;
▪️1 fpv drone;
▪️16 UAVs (type to be determined).
Civil infrastructure facilities were damaged and destroyed:
▪️In Kharkiv, an administrative building was damaged;
▪️In Kupiansk region, a private house was damaged (village Starovirivka);
▪️In Chuhuiv region, a car was damaged (village Zarichne), an apartment building (village Staryi Saltiv).
The transit evacuation point in Lozova received 66 people. 42 people remained. A total of 14,716 people have been registered at the Point since it began operating.
14 residents of the city of Kupiansk were evacuated to Kharkiv on the evening of December 13 by the efforts of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine. Among the evacuated are three minors.
Donetsk oblast
On December 13, there were 1,267 enemy strikes on the front line and residential sector.
Three settlements were under fire: the cities of Kostiantynivka, Kramatorsk, and the village of Krasnopodillia.
5 civilian objects were destroyed, including 1 residential building.
In Kostiantynivka, russians targeted a group of civilians with an FPV drone – one person was killed and two others wounded.
In Krasnopodillia, Pokrovsk region, two civilians were injured and a private house damaged as a result of a Geran-2 UAV strike.
Kramatorsk suffered three drone attacks the day before and one after midnight. An apartment building and non-residential buildings were damaged.
Luhansk oblast
Towards Lyman and Slaviansk, there were 19 enemy assaults near eight settlements. 16 drones carried out their combat missions. In 22 cases, the invaders used barrel artillery. They also struck with a multiple launch rocket system.
In Siverskodonetsk, the occupiers will demolish two more high-rise buildings. These buildings are located in the old districts of the city. In 2022, russians actively shelled them when storming the settlement. After that, for 3.5 years, they had no business with the specified housing stock. Now they have decided that two more apartment buildings are not subject to reconstruction.
In the so-called “lpr”, children in schools are forced to write letters to russian soldiers who are at the front. To this end, teachers conduct thematic lessons or give homework. Recently, children from a school in Lutuhyne wrote forced greetings.
What is happening now in the north of Ukraine
Kyiv oblast
Kyiv Regional Military Administration announced the honoring of participants in liquidation of Chernobyl accident consequences on December 14. On this day, 39 years ago, the fourth power unit of Chernobyl NPP was covered with the first protective Sarcophagus.
Mykola Kalashnyk, Head of Kyiv Regional State Administration, announced the setting of a record. This is the ascent of the largest group of veterans with injuries and loss of limbs to Hoverla — 50 participants. The record is included in the National Register of Records of Ukraine, which was confirmed by the project manager Valentino Shcherbachov.
The first All-Ukrainian boxing tournament among war veterans was held in Bucha. 14 soldiers, 7 pairs of veterans from different regions of the country took part in the tournament.
On December 13, the V All-Ukrainian Women’s Prayer Breakfast was held in Kyiv, organized by the International Women’s Movement For Family Values. The participants of the meeting were mothers and wives of military personnel, volunteers, public leaders, women of faith, as well as representatives of various Christian denominations. One hundred women from different regions of Ukraine took part.
Kyiv Mayor Vitalii Klytschko announced the opening of the Center for Comprehensive Support for Veterans and Their Families Kyiv Military Hub in Darnytskyi District. The Center was created with the support of international, including Latvian, partners. The opening was attended by Riga Mayor Viesturs Kleinbergs.
Zhytomyr oblast
On 14 December, the Malyn community held a peaceful rally called ‘Angels of Waiting’ in support of prisoners of war and those missing in action. The event was attended by relatives and loved ones of Ukrainian defenders who are waiting for them at home, according to Antonina Glushchenko’s report for Suspilne. More than 100 local residents took part in the rally.
On 13-14 December, the Zhytomyr team ‘Titans’ won bronze in the first ever Ukrainian Amputee Football Championship in Kyiv. Twelve teams competed for the title of champion.
The press service of the Zhytomyr City Council reported that 48-year-old Ukrainian military pilot Lieutenant Colonel Yevgeny Ivanov returned to Zhytomyr on a shield. He died on 8 December 2025 in the east while performing a combat mission. During his years of service, he flew more than 200 combat missions.
Sumy oblast
Shostka: Emergency Recovery Works Continue After Airstrike
Emergency recovery operations are ongoing in the Shostka community following a powerful airstrike. Residential buildings and civilian infrastructure were damaged. The humanitarian mission Proliska is providing financial assistance to residents whose homes were affected. Volunteers and members of the local sports community have joined the debris removal efforts.
“Barsa” Sports Complex Conserved After Russian Strike
At the Barsa Youth Sports School, initial cleanup efforts have been completed following a Russian attack. Burned property was removed, sports equipment sorted, and broken glass and damaged structures cleared. Windows are being temporarily sealed with particle boards, and the sports complex is being conserved against weather exposure. Cleanup had to be halted due to renewed UAV activity over the city.

Russian Drone Kills Civilian Cyclist in Sumy Region
In a border community of the Sumy region, a Russian drone deliberately attacked a 62-year-old civilian riding a bicycle. Due to intense enemy UAV activity, medical assistance could not be provided, and the man died at the scene. Sumy Regional Administration Head Oleh Hryhorov stressed that while evacuation decisions are difficult, they can save lives.
Chernihiv oblast
russian forces carried out another series of strikes on populated areas of the Chernihiv region over the course of the day. As a result of the shelling, civilians were wounded and damage to residential buildings and infrastructure was reported. Amid the constant danger, a local resident of the border town of Semenivka, Liubov Makarenko, continues to remain in the area, caring for animals. She currently looks after 32 dogs and 35 cats, spending almost her entire salary on food and veterinary treatment despite the lack of support and ongoing Russian attacks. At the same time, several Telegram channels reported a possible breakthrough by an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group into the Chernihiv region, allegedly involving around 15 people, though there has been no official confirmation of this information so far.
Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine
Dnipropetrovsk oblast
Mykola Lukashuk, Head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council reported that from the evening through the morning, the enemy attacked the regional centre as well as Marhanets and Pokrovske communities. The strikes were carried out mainly with drones, followed by artillery fire in the morning. Fires broke out. Emergency responders rescued a 25-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman.
A private house was destroyed by fire, while two more houses, two vehicles and a power line were damaged. According to updated information, evening attacks in the region also damaged two additional private houses, an outbuilding and a power line.
Pavlohrad region: A missile attack damaged a catering facility in Mezhyrichchia community.
Synelnykove region: Occupying forces struck Slovhorodka and Bohynivka communities by UAVs, damaging a summer kitchen.
Kryvyi Rih region: Occupying forces attacked Hrushiv community by artillery and drones. A private house caught fire, while five private houses, infrastructure and a gas pipeline were damaged.
Nikopol region: The enemy continued to attack the regional centre as well as Marhanets, Myrove, Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrovske communities by drones and artillery. A vehicle, a transport enterprise and infrastructure were damaged. Another house was damaged as a result of morning attacks.
Dnipro region: A UAV attack damaged two vehicles.
Synelnykove region: Vasylkivka and Bohynivka communities came under UAV attack. A fire broke out, damaging four private houses and an outbuilding.
Poltava oblast
Vinnytsia paid tribute to Defender of Ukraine Denys Kuzmeniuk, who was killed while carrying out a combat mission in Kharkiv oblast. The 41-year-old servicemember joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine earlier this year. He served in the 57th Separate Motorised Infantry Brigade named after Kostiantyn Hordiienko, in the unmanned aerial systems company of the unmanned systems battalion.
Cherkasy oblast
In Cherkasy, a weekly rally in support of prisoners of war and missing servicemembers, titled “Do Not Be Silent — Captivity Kills”, took place. Relatives and friends of defenders, volunteers, servicemembers and local residents gathered with flags and placards.
Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine
Zaporizhzhia oblast
Ivan Fedorov, Head of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that at least 14 people were injured in a russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. A shop in one of the city’s districts was hit. The premises were destroyed and the injured received the necessary medical assistance. Among those who required medical care were a child and a State Emergency Service employee.
The National Police informed that 2 women aged 61 and 86 were evacuated from Verkhnia Tersa and Mala Katerynivka in Zaporizhzhia oblast.
Ivan Fedorov, Head of the RMA, stated that on 13 December, russian forces carried out 570 strikes on 17 towns and villages of Zaporizhzhia oblast. In particular, 338 drone strikes, mostly FPV drones, targeted Liubytske, Stepnohirsk, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Bilohiria, Pryluky, Solodke, Varvarivka and Charivne.
Mykolaiv oblast
According to Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, on 13 December, russian forces carried out a massive combined attack on Mykolaiv oblast. As a result, 5 people were injured in Mykolaiv city. As of the morning, their condition was reported as stable. On the same day, russian troops carried out 7 FPV drone attacks on Kutsurub and Ochakiv communities and shelled Kutsurub community by artillery. There were no casualties reported.
Odesa oblast
Based on the information provided by Odesa RMA, during the night, russian forces attacked Odesa oblast, causing damage to energy, transport, industrial and civilian infrastructure facilities. There was no information about casualties reported. All relevant services are working at the sites. Invincibility Centres have been deployed to assist the population and critical infrastructure is operating on generators.
Oleh Kiper, Head of Odesa RMA, informed that in a day and a half, russian forces launched around 300 aerial attack assets of various types toward Odesa oblast, including more than 130 Shahed drones this morning. The strikes targeted critical infrastructure facilities.
Kherson oblast
Referring to Kherson Regional Military Administration, at around 3:20pm, russian forces shelled Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. An 83-year-old woman was hospitalised with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. A 55-year-old man was hospitalised in moderate condition.
Yaroslav Shanko, Head of Kherson City Military Administration, russian forces once again attacked critical infrastructure of Kherson, damaging the centralised water supply system. There are scheduled water supply interruptions in the city. Energy workers and water utility specialists are currently carrying out repair works.
The RMA informed that in Bilozirka, a 51-year-old man stepped on a russian mine at around 10:40am. He was hospitalised with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds to his legs.
The CMA reported that russian forces attacked the territory of a healthcare facility in Kherson by a drone. A man and a woman were injured and hospitalised.
The RMA informed that at around 7:15am, russian forces attacked a civilian vehicle by a drone in Chornobaivka. A 50-year-old woman sustained blast injuries and facial wounds.
Yaroslav Shanko, Head of the CMA, said that overnight, russian forces shelled residential neighborhoods of Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. Apartments, windows, doors and balconies in high-rise buildings were damaged. 2 people were evacuated from a damaged apartment. There were no injuries or casualties reported.
Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of Kherson RMA, stated that on 13 December, russian forces shelled 26 settlements in Kherson oblast. 2 people were injured. A high-rise building, 3 private houses, a trolleybus line and a bus were damaged.

Volyn oblast

Zakarpattia oblast
The RMA was awarded Yurii Bidiuk with the For the Defense of Ukraine Presidential Medal of Honor.
Ivano-Frankivsk oblast
Ivano-Frankivsk community is introducing a one-time payment of UAH 50,000 to soldiers who are still in captivity. One of the family members can receive UAH 50,000, and then another UAH 50,000 to the prisoner of war himself or his relatives.
Lviv oblast
The student and teaching staff of Busky Secondary Secondary Educational Service of I-III Degrees – Gymnasium named after Petrushevych at the Frank National University of Lviv donated UAH 15,000 to the volunteer group for weaving camouflage nets Evil Stork for the purchase of special fabric and fishing nets.
Housewives from Buska community prepared many homemade pastries and delicacies, which, along with other assistance, the volunteers handed over to the defenders.
Another disguise from Pomorskie was sent by volunteers to our defenders in Slavic direction.
Rivne oblast
The RMA reported that during August-October, the oblast has already received 37 evacuation trains and sheltered 519 internally displaced persons.
Ternopil oblast
The Unmanned Systems Battalion Raid received 4 modern MAVIC 3T drones from Ternopil community.
Khmelnytskyi oblast
Khmelnytskyi City Council adopted a new program Families of Heroes for 2026-2029. The volume is over UAH 990m.
Chernivtsi oblast
The RMA reported that 20 tonnes of bottled drinking water were transferred from the oblast to Odesa.
International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)
The Netherlands has deployed air defense systems in Poland to protect the logistics hub for aid to Ukraine. 2 Patriot ballistic missile defense systems, one NASAMS for medium and low altitude targets, and about 300 Dutch military personnel have been sent to Poland.
