It has been the 880 th day of the Ukrainian resistance to the russian military aggression. 

What happened in Ukraine today:

Here is operational information of the General Staff as of 6 pm:   

Russian invaders continue to storm the positions of Ukrainian defenders. Instead, the Ukrainian Defence Forces are disrupting the enemy’s insidious plans, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment.

A total of 93 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of the day.

The border settlements of Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts continue to suffer from cynical shelling from the territory of the russian federation. Today, the enemy struck the town of Konotop with an X-59 missile.

At the same time, Kharkiv oblast is under constant bombardment by enemy aircraft. Since the beginning of the day, the russians have launched 11 airstrikes from the russian cities of Belgorod and Shebekino. They targeted Cherniaky, Vesele, Lyptsi, Mali Prokhody, Hlyboke, Karaichne and Pytomnyk. The enemy also fired an Iskander-M missile at Derhachi.

In addition, towards Kharkiv, the russians launched six unsuccessful attacks near Hlyboke and Vovchansk.

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy attacked our positions six times near Berestove and Hlushkivka. One battle is over, five more are ongoing.

Towards Lyman, the invading army carried out assault operations near Torske, Novoserhiivka, Makiivka and near Serebrianka forest. Our defenders repelled three enemy attacks, one of which is still ongoing near Makiivka.

Towards Siversk, the enemy attacked seven times near Verkhnokamianske, Vyimka, Spirne, Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Pereizne. Ukrainian troops repelled six attacks and another firefight is ongoing.

Towards Kramatorsk, the enemy is stepping up its efforts. Since the beginning of the day, it has carried out 22 assault operations near Bondarne, Bohdanivka, Chasovyi Yar, Minkivka, Vasyukivka, Hryhorivka, Kalynivka, Bila Hora, Ivanivske and Klishchiyivka. Ukrainian defence forces repelled nine attacks, 13 more are ongoing. The enemy’s losses are being clarified.

Towards Toretsk, the occupants attacked nine times near Toretsk, Zalizne, Niu-York and Pivnichne. Eight battles were completed, one is still ongoing.

Towards Pokrovsk, the russians attacked near Vozdvyzhenka, Novooleksandrivka, Novoselivka Persha, Panteleimonivka, Nyzhyk, Lozuvatske, Tymofiivka, Prohres, Vovche, Yasnobrodivka and Umanske. The defence forces are holding back the enemy’s offensive and repelled 17 attacks, nine engagements are ongoing. The enemy’s losses are being clarified.

Towards Kurakhove, the enemy attacked 10 times near Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Paraskoviivka. Seven battles were completed, three are still ongoing.

Towards Orikhiv, the enemy tried to break through Ukrainian defences near Robotyne. As a result, the attack failed.

Towards Kherson, the enemy was also unsuccessful, attacking twice the defensive lines of Ukrainian units on the left bank of the Dnipro River.

The situation did not change significantly in other frontline areas.

Ukraine will have a register of areas potentially contaminated by explosive ordnance. According to the Regulation on the Register, the website will be administered by the State Emergency Service, with the Humanitarian Demining Centre responsible for the technical part. The register will start operating after the SES commissioning it.

The Ministry of Defence is completing testing of a new lightweight bulletproof vest model. The new bulletproof vest is made of reinforced ceramic-composite materials and provides Class 6 protection. The size range varies from S to XL in two configurations, with weights from 7.5kg to 12kg, compared to 10.5kg to 17.5kg for the modular models. The vest has a quick release function and can be equipped with additional elements: neck and shoulder protection, shoulder pads, tailbone protection, tactical load-bearing belt, tailbone protection, hip protection and buoyancy elements. There are special anatomical pads for women. The product has separate pockets for soft and hard ballistic protection and removable damping tabs. The model has already been tested at the Intelligence School of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and received positive feedback. Laboratory testing is the last stage before the vest is handed over to the Armed Forces.

Recent war events in the east of Ukraine

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrskyi visited the eastern front and spoke about the situation on the frontlines and the hottest spots.

The enemy does not pay attention to the rather high level of losses and continues to rush towards Pokrovsk. Fierce fighting continues in Krasnohorivka, near Prohres, Zalizne, Pivdenne and Chasiv Yar. The occupiers keep trying to capture Stelmakhivka and Makiivka, attacking our positions in Ivanivske and Klishchiivka, and trying to seize the islands of the floodplain on the left bank of the Dnipro River. In fact, active hostilities of varying intensity are taking place along the entire frontline.

Kharkiv oblast

Volodymyr Tymoshko, Head of Kharkiv police, reported that the russian army struck a farm in a village near Izium with an air-launched missile, probably of type X, in the morning.

A 58-year-old man was hospitalised in Kharkiv as a result of the attack.

The press service of the regional prosecutor’s office informed that  around 9:40am, the russian army shelled Podoly in Kupiansk region, injuring a woman, damaging private households and a garage.

The Kharkiv operational-tactical group said that also russian troops have moved to defence in the occupied Lukiantsi village of Lyptsi community in Kharkiv region. As of 9am on 22 July, the russian military became more active near Hlyboke and Vovchansk. In preparation for offensive actions, the enemy is regrouping personnel and reconnoitering routes of advance using UAVs. In Lukianets, the russian occupiers went on the defensive.

At 2:55am, russians attacked Ruska Lozova village in Kharkiv region. According to the KAB, 2 private households were damaged during the shelling with MRLs.

At 1:10am, russians attacked Derhachi of Kharkiv region. An educational institution was damaged as a result of a rocket attack.

Yesterday at 5:56pm, russians attacked Cherkaski Tyshky village of Tsyrkuny community, Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling, grass on the open territory and an outbuilding on the area of 50 square metres were burning.

At 4:22pm, russians attacked Bilyi Kolodiaz village of Chuhuiv region Two MRLs hit the territory of the elevator.

At 4:12pm, russians attacked Lisne village of Mala Danylivka community, Kharkiv region. As a result of the shelling, grass burned on an area of 2.5 hectares.

At 12:55pm, russians attacked Kindrashivka village of Kindrashivka community, Kupiansk region. As a result of the shelling, grass was burning.

At 10:18am, russians attacked Kyrylivka village of Staryi Saltiv community, Chuhuiv region. A tractor was on fire as a result of the shelling.

At 9:20am, russians attacked Losivka village of Vovchansk community, Chuhuiv region. The shelling destroyed three houses, a garage and 4 outbuildings.

 Towards Kharkiv, the enemy attacked nine times near Hlyboke and Vovchansk. Seven of the enemy’s attacks were successfully repelled by our defenders, and two more are ongoing.

Towards Kupiansk, the enemy tried to advance to our positions near Synkivka, Stelmakhivka Berestove and towards Hlushkivka ten times during the day. The Defence Forces successfully repelled seven of the enemy’s attacks. As of the morning, the fighting continued.

Four residents of Vovchansk, Hlushkivka and Barvinkove were killed in the past week as a result of shelling. People from Derhachi, Zolochiv, Vovchansk, Pechenihy, Chuhuiv, Kupiansk, Kurylivka, Petropavlivka and Kindrashivka communities were injured.

Donetsk oblast

The regional prosecutor’s office said that four people were injured during the shelling of Perebudova. They were taken to a medical facility.

Velyka Novosilka Village Military Administration reported that the russian military conducted an airstrike with three guided bombs on Rozdolne village, Volnovakha region. The airstrikes injured two people and damaged 16 objects.

Serhii Horbunov, Head of the CMA, reported that at 10:20am, the russian army launched three airstrikes on Kostiantynivka. Three people were injured. The building of Nova Poshta, the facades of apartment buildings and several shops were damaged again.

Yesterday russia fired 3,510 times at the frontline and residential areas. According to Donetsk police, the enemy shelled 19 settlements: Hirnyk, Kostiantynivka, Kurakhove, Lyman, Myrnohrad, Toretsk, Hrodivka, Nelipivka, Niu-York, Pivnichne, Yampil, Berestok, Zoriane, Kleban-Byk, Lysivka, Mykolaivka, Predtechyne, Rozlyv and Sontsivka.

54 civilian objects were damaged, including 41 residential buildings, shops, administrative buildings, an elevator, vehicles, and critical infrastructure.

The occupiers attacked Nelipivka with artillery, killing a civilian and damaging a private house.

The russians hit Kostiantynivka with two UMPB D-30 SN guided bombs, injuring a man, damaging one apartment building and 12 private houses, two shops, a technical building and disrupting communications.

The enemy is destroying Toretsk with aerial bombs and artillery, injuring a man and damaging two apartment buildings.

There are two injured civilians in Pivnichne and another in Hrodivka.

Also russia dropped four KAB-250 bombs with an UMPK module on the Lyman, destroying an administrative building.

The enemy triple-attacked Rozlyv with UMPD D-30SN bombs, destroying 13 private homes and two cars.

In Kurakhove, russian troops damaged two apartment buildings with drones.

Luhansk oblast

Yesterday the enemy made 153 attacks in this area of the frontline. According to the RMA, they fired at Nevske and Makiivka by cannon artillery. They also fired from multiple rocket launchers at Nevske. They used almost a hundred drones. The russians attacked near Stelmakhivka, Andriivka and Makiivka.

Yesterday a 63-year-old man from Makiivka was evacuated to Kramatorsk. According to the RMA, his wife is waiting for him in one of the central regions of the country. A 77-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman left Nevske and will live in Kharkiv oblast, where they have been provided with temporary accommodation. It is difficult for people, especially the elderly, to leave their homes. However, the russians are continuously destroying these frontline villages and there are almost no surviving houses there. It is extremely dangerous to stay in Nevske, Novoliubivka and Makiivka.

The occupiers have not started building the processing plants promised over the past two years, and the garbage in the so-called “lpr” is already coming from the territory of the russian federation. In Voronezh and Rostov, they expect to get rid of 1.5m tonnes of waste per year in this way.

Like the miners, teachers from Kreminna, who work for the russians, have been trying to get their May salary and holiday pay for almost two months.  rub 15m have disappeared from the budget, leaving more than 500 people with nothing. Currently, they have allegedly agreed to allocate additional funds.

Oleksandr Striuk, Head of the CMA, informed that about 15% of the local population remains in Sievierodonetsk. The russian military and those russians who want to make money have come here. The invaders are destroying everything in Sievierodonetsk that reminds them of Ukraine. The russians have destroyed 60 % of the housing stock and 90 % of the city’s infrastructure. Residents of Sievierodonetsk do not have legal access to the Internet and mobile communications. They have limited communication with family and friends who have evacuated.

What is happening now in the north of Ukraine

Kyiv oblast

Kyiv City Military Administration reported that 16 injured people remain in Kyiv hospitals with two children among them as a result of a missile attack on the city by russian troops on 8 July.

The press service of the Ohmatdyt National Children’s Specialised Hospital has announced launching a tender for construction and repair works to eliminate the consequences of the russian terrorist attack.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State of the Holy See, arrived in Kyiv. According to Shmyhal, the meeting with the cardinal was about establishing a just peace for Ukraine, food security, and the return of prisoners and Ukrainian children.

The SSU reported that the  saboteur who was preparing a series of arson attacks on strategic facilities in Kyiv on behalf of russian intelligence was detained in Kyiv. It was established that relay cabinets located along the main railway lines in Kyiv were the saboteur’s main targets. The investigation revealed that the offender planned to prepare several more arson attacks at strategic Ukrzaliznytsia facilities, thereby damaging the logistics of the Defence Forces.

Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of Kyiv Regional Military Administration, informed that one of the houses damaged by the russians in Bucha at 2 Enerhetykiv Street has been rebuilt. The overhaul of the house began in autumn 2023 at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. To date, all damaged elements have been dismantled, windows replaced and balconies glazed. The building has been painted and the exterior walls and basement have been insulated.

An eco-space for maintaining and restoring physical and mental health was opened at Hryhorii Skovoroda University in Pereiaslav. The university also has 5 projects for comprehensive psychosocial support for female and male veterans and their families. The University’s Veteran Development Centre has provided more than 300 psychological consultations and conducted 11 psychological trainings for veterans’ family members.

According to the RMA, Kyiv Regional Centre for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine received 10 Starlink satellite systems. The assistance was provided by the Sergey Guliyev Charitable Foundation. The equipment will provide ambulance stations and emergency teams with uninterrupted internet and communication.  

Zhytomyr oblast

According to Zhytomyr Regional State Administration report, On 21 July, Vatican Secretary of State Pietro Parolin arrived in Zhytomyr oblast on an official visit. This is Pietro Parolin’s first visit to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war. One of the main issues raised at the meeting was the role of the Vatican in the exchange of prisoners of war and the return of fallen Ukrainian defenders from the temporarily occupied territories.

According to the report of the regional military administration, Zhytomyr oblast received 150 energy-saving systems as part of the Power for Health project. The assistance was provided by Yevhen Pivovarov Charitable Foundation and Direct Relief (USA). These energy-saving systems will be installed in 91 institutions in the region, including 26 hospitals and other medical facilities, 3 orphanages, 13 social institutions (geriatric boarding houses and neuropsychiatric boarding houses), and 48 administrative service centres.

Sumy oblast

The RMA informed that at night and in the morning of 22 July, russians fired 10 times at the border areas and settlements of Sumy oblast. A total of 31 explosions were recorded, including artillery, mortar and FPV drone attacks. Seven communities were under enemy fire: Khotyn, Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Nova Sloboda, Esman, Seredyna-Buda.

Sumy Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported that on the afternoon of 21 July, russian military personnel attacked a combine harvesting crop in Bilopillia community of Sumy district with an FPV drone. The attack killed a 37-year-old combine operator and injured his 59-year-old assistant.

On 21 July, the russian military fired 44 times at Sumy oblast.

A total of 128 attacks from various types of weapons were recorded. 12 border communities were shelled: Khotyn, Yunakivka, Miropillia, Bilopillia, Vorozhba, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Hlukhiv, Esman, Shalyhyne, Druzhbivka communities.

The enemy attacked Khotyn community with unguided aerial missiles from an aircraft (6 explosions). They also fired mortars (3 explosions) and used FPV drones (3 explosions).  

Artillery strikes (5 explosions), shelling with FPV drones (4 explosions), and shelling with a wing-type drone were recorded in Yunakivka community.

The enemy attacked Myropillia community with artillery (10 explosions) and an MLRS (8 explosions). There was also an attack using two FPV drones.

Sumy Regional Military Administration added that in Bilopillia community one person was killed and one person was injured as a result of russian shelling. The community was attacked by FPV drones (7 explosions), mortars (4 explosions), grenade launchers (3 explosions) and artillery (5 explosions). 

The North military command stated that on 21 July, the russian army attacked the border village of Katerynivka with cannon artillery and kamikaze drones. One person was killed and one wounded. The shelling of Myropillia damaged a shop, an agricultural facility and a building of an educational institution. In Hlukhiv, an industrial building and a warehouse were damaged. In Yunakivka, the building of a school was damaged by russian shelling. A private house was destroyed as a result of shelling of Kostiantynivka village in Sumy district with unguided aerial missiles. 4 private houses and the power grid were damaged in Uhroidy as a result of attacks from cannon artillery.

The regional National Police reported in Sumy oblast, explosives experts seized the remains of two downed Shaheds and a missile. Law enforcement officers received reports of explosive items from people on 21 July, after which mobile teams promptly arrived at the scene, inspected them and seized them.

The regional SES reported that in total, over the past week, bomb squads in Sumy oblast destroyed 28 munitions found in Sumy, Okhtyrka, Konotop and Shostka regions. Since the beginning of the year, 744 explosive devices have been discovered by SES specialists in Sumy oblast.

Sumy Regional Military Administration announced the ongoing reconstruction of the hospital in Trostianets community. The reconstruction project is on schedule and concerns the buildings of the polyclinic, the inpatient department and the children’s department, which were severely damaged in March 2022 when russian tanks fired directly at the facility, where patients and doctors were staying at the time.  

Chernihiv oblast

The SBGS reported that over the past 24 hours, russian troops attacked the border of Chernihiv oblast with FPV drones, mortars and cannon artillery. A total of 40 explosions were recorded. Novhorod-Siverskyi and Semenivka communities were under enemy attack.

Viacheslav Chaus, Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration informed that over the past week, the enemy fired 38 times at 21 settlements in oblast. A total of 169 explosions were recorded during this period. The terrorist country struck at the critical infrastructure of the region: an administrative facility and a multi-storey building (18 apartments) were damaged in Nizhyn community. The enemy is using various types of weapons in the region, including rockets and drones.

Recently, two families from the suburbs of Chernihiv have received their own housing thanks to American philanthropists who covered all the costs associated with the assembly, installation and furnishing of the housing. Thanks to the mediation of the CF ‘To Ukraine with Love’, 37 such houses have already been installed. 

Recent events in the central regions of Ukraine

Dnipropetrovsk oblast

In the evening, the occupiers attacked Nikopol district with kamikaze drones and artillery. They targeted the regional centre, Pokrovsk and Marhanets communities. A private house was damaged in Nikopol. According to updated information, the shelling of Chervonohryhorivka community damaged 13 summer houses, a car, and power lines. No people were injured.

During the day, five people were injured in the city due to enemy artillery shelling. A 37-year-old man was hospitalised in moderate condition. Two women, aged 65 and 34, and two men, aged 32 and 36, were also injured. They will be treated at home. In total, there were almost two dozen attacks with kamikaze drones and artillery across the district. They targeted the regional centre, Pokrovsk, Chervonohryhorivka, Myrove and Marhanets communities. Damaged were two apartment buildings, two stores, a kiosk, a farm, a laboratory, a pawnshop, an office building, a utility company, nine private houses, two outbuildings, four cars, one truck, and power lines.

Vinnytsia oblast

​​ Mayor Serhii Morhunov reported that Vinnytsia oblast continues to supply defenders on various fronts with FPV drones and Mavic 3T. Additionally, they managed to deliver important equipment to one of the National Guard brigades — 9 electronic warfare systems (EW), which will jam enemy UAVs on the battlefield. 

Kirovohrad oblast

In Kirovohrad oblast, veterans and military personnel can receive free dental care. Under the state program, one patient can receive dental services worth up to UAH 14,984. Additionally, the regional program allocates UAH 3,000 per person for dental prosthetics. Veterans and military personnel can access free dental services at the following medical institutions: Kirovohrad Clinical Dental Polyclinic, Oleksandriia City Dental Polyclinic, Svitlovodsk Central District Hospital and Onufriivka Central District Hospital.

Poltava oblast

In Poltava, Ukrainian defenders Volodymyr Bezuhlyi and Oleksii Stohnii were laid to rest. Volodymyr Bezuhlyi was killed on July 17, 2024, from wounds sustained in Donetsk oblast. He lived in Dykanka community.

Oleksii Stohnii was a clergyman at the Holy Protection Church of Kremenchuk Diocese of the UOC. On 1 April, 2024, he left the clergy to join the military, following in the footsteps of his son. He was 53 years old.

Latest news from the front of the southern regions of Ukraine

Zaporizhzhia oblast

Yesterday, 21 July, the occupiers launched 450 strikes on 8 settlements in Zaporizhzhia oblast. russian forces carried out 4 airstrikes on Stepnohirsk and Novoandriivka. 179 UAVs of various modifications attacked Bilenke, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Levadne, and Malynivka. 4 MLRS attacks targeted Robotyne and Novoandriivka. 263 artillery strikes were carried out on Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Robotyne, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, and Levadne. Ten reports of damage to residential buildings and infrastructure were received.

The General Staff reported that the enemy made three attempts to storm Ukrainian positions towards Orikhiv, near Robotyne and Novodanylivka. All assault attempts were unsuccessful.

Mykolaiv oblast

Yesterday, 21 July, at 16:59, the russians attacked the village of Solonchaky in Kutsurub community with an FPV drone. As a result of the attack, a building and a car were damaged.

Odesa oblast

As of 6am 22 July, there are no enemy ships in the Black Sea. Two enemy ships are in the Sea of Azov, and one enemy ship, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 8 missiles, is in the Mediterranean Sea. Over the past day, 5 ships passed through the Kerch Strait towards the Black Sea, and 3 ships towards the Sea of Azov in the interest of russia.

A Mental Health Center has opened at the Podil City Hospital. The centre provides services such as individual consultations with a psychologist, group therapy, support groups, and educational training and programs. The hospital employs 4 psychiatrists (one of them is a child psychiatrist) and 2 psychologists.

Kherson oblast

Kherson Regional Military Administration reported that as a result of a night strike a woman received fatal injuries in Dniprovskyi district of Kherson. Relevant services are working at the scene of the tragedy.

This morning, the russian army struck the village of Sadove. A 71-year-old woman who was inside a house was injured. She sustained an explosive injury, a concussion, and a shrapnel wound to the head. Later, the russians shelled Kindiika. An 80-year-old resident who was in her yard suffered an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound to her arm.

Yesterday, russian forces shelled settlements in Kherson and Beryslav regions with artillery, mortars, MLRS, and carried out air and UAV strikes. Eight people were injured, and civilian infrastructure was damaged significantly as a result of the attacks. The enemy shelled Kherson, Antonivka, Sadove, Pervomaiske, Kizomys, Prydniprovske, Komyshany, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Burhunka, Tiahynka, Mykhailivka, Olhivka and Novoberyslav. Seven private houses and two apartment buildings, a critical infrastructure facility, an educational institution, a printing house, a store, a service station, garages, three cars, a utility building, a trade kiosk, and a café were damaged as a result of the shelling.

Today, two residents of Bilozerka sought medical help due to injuries sustained during a recent massive russian shelling. A 65-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman suffered concussions and explosive injuries.

Ukrainian military forces in the south eliminated 99 occupiers and destroyed 60 units of their weapons and military equipment over the past day. As a result of the combat operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the russian army lost a tank, Tor and Buk-M2 anti-aircraft missile systems, two electronic warfare stations, a BM-21 MLRS, 10 reconnaissance drones, seven guns, 25 units of automotive equipment, three mortars, four boats, and five video surveillance systems. Four observation posts, six bunkers, and one ground-based UAV control station were destroyed.

The occupiers have created a special housing fund of so-called “ownerless” property in temporarily occupied territories of Kherson oblast. The fund is intended to confiscate real estate from its rightful owners. The criterion for determining “ownerlessness” is the absence of the owners at home for several months.

Employees of Kherson Art Museum have identified five more works of art stolen by the russians. These are etchings by artist Yurii Didenko, created in 1987 on the theme of Ukrainian folklore. Currently, 120 identified works of art are known to have been taken by russian military forces from Kherson Art Museum. The exact location of one piece is unknown, while the other 119 are in the Simferopol Central Museum of Tavrida in the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Latest news for today in the western regions of Ukraine

Volyn oblast

In Kivertsk community, the children’s health and recreation camp continues its work. Thanks to this project, several thousand children from territories affected by the military aggression of the russians were able to rest in Volyn oblast. The other day, a new shift started. For 14 days, a rich program awaits children, included, interesting games, contests, master classes, sports competitions, swimming in the pool and excursions to picturesque places.

Lutsk City Council reported that the community sent a DJI Mavic 3 Thermal quadcopter and 2 DJI Mavic 3 Pro quadcopters to the Military Unit A2613.

Zakarpattia oblast

The RMA reported that Uzhhorod community allocated almost UAH 26m to purchase drones and UAVs.

Viktor Mykyta, Head of the RMA, visited soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine stationed in Zakarpattia oblast. The unit performs tasks in the combat zone on a rotational basis. Most of the National Guardsmen are recuperating after a long stay at the front. Soldiers of the Military Unit 3115 of the National Guard, who selflessly defend Ukraine from the occupier, received For the Defense of Ukraine by the President of Ukraine and certificates by the Head of the RMA.

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast

The RMA held a meeting with heads of structural divisions of the RMA, services and departments of the oblast and representatives of local self-government. The proper condition of shelters is under the special control of inspectors.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, plaques dedicated to Andrii Chepil, Vyacheslav Chupak, Vasyl Danylyshyn and Yurii Slivchuk were installed and consecrated on the facade of the Technical University of Oil and Gas. Heroes graduated from this university at one time, so the opening of plaques here is a tribute to the memory of heroic graduates. Ivano-Frankivsk community has lost over 500 defenders since the beginning of the war. Even over 100 are listed as missing.

Lviv oblast

The RMA reported that since the beginning of the year, Belzka community, Chervonohrad region, sent 7 quadcopters to the front.

The rescuers of Lviv oblast received 50 sets of certified anti-burn means AQUIOR, including bedspread, mask, bandages, bandages and napkins of different sizes, as part of the approval of hydrogel products. AQUIOR will help rescuers in providing first aid to people who have suffered wounds and burns during emergency situations.

Within the framework of the League of the Invincibles project, veterans were given inclusive training in rowing on canoes, kayaks and a team race in the Dragon boat. Over 20 veterans and their relatives from the Next Step rehabilitation center took part.

Rivne oblast

A medical project from the US Ministry of Defense is being implemented in Rivne oblast. It is a joint grant project of Rivne Regional Hospital for Veterans, the US Department of Defense, a clinic from the city of Vancouver and the Craig Nielsen Foundation. It refers to the study of spinal cord injuries received during the war. As part of cooperation, leading foreign medics will come to Rivne oblast, and Ukrainian specialists will have the opportunity to gain experience abroad. Preparatory work is currently underway. The project involves: participation of 50 patients; budget is $2.4m; duration is 3 years; official start  is 1 October.

Ternopil oblast

Chortkiv City Council reported that 23 children from the number of IDPs and children whose parents are defending Ukraine at the front from the sister city of Hola Prystan of Kherson oblast came to Chortkov for a vacation. Now Hola Prystan is under occupation.

Khmelnytskyi oblast

Khmelnytskyi City Council reported that since the beginning of the year, the community has sent almost 320 quadcopters, 3,800 FPV drones and over 80 EW devices to the military.

Chernivtsi oblast

Chernivtsi received 7 ambulances cars from the sister city of Dusseldorf.

The RMA presented high state awards to the families of Bohdan Kocherhan, Maksym Shvartsman, Dmytro Dobranskyi, Vitalii Solovii and Andrii Lukiyanchuk. Fallen soldiers were posthumously awarded with the III degree For Courage order for the courage and self-sacrifice shown in the defence of state sovereignty by the Decree of the President of Ukraine.

International support of Ukraine in the russian-Ukrainian war (russia’s invasion of Ukraine)

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine, announced that the German Patriot arrived in Ukraine.

Ukraine agreed with the Committee of Eurobond owners on debt restructuring. In August 2022, Ukraine agreed on a two-year postponement of debt service under direct and state-guaranteed Eurobonds. Now it was possible to conclude a new agreement.

Donald Tusk, Prime Minister of Poland, announced that the country is ready to produce electricity for Ukraine at its power plants. He admitted that this will not solve Ukraine’s problems completely (because there are physical limitations to the supply of electricity to Ukraine), but it can at least partially help Ukraine survive the difficult winter.

Japan will send $3.3bn to Ukraine from revenues from the frozen assets of the russian federation. The US and the EU, which play a leading role in the use of russia’s frozen assets, will each contribute $20bn out of $50bn. The remaining $10bn will be shared between Japan, Great Britain and Canada. G7 countries have decided that aid to Ukraine, which is suffering from russian aggression, will be provided in the form of a loan, and investment income from frozen russian assets will be used to repay the loan.
